1881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Found a new gold shell miner for Doge/LTC on: September 23, 2022, 02:57:07 PM
Their was talk about Doge going pos is that still in the works?  Pos is what has keep me from buying a few L7s.

I hope not I am big into doge I have over 100000 of them. We are mining with L7 and L3

the resellers killed the price on this unit 2200 is way too high.

1500 is meh but I would get 2 at that price.

POS = piece of shit

this will be my new signature very soon.

Stop reminding me of how stupid I was with my 1,000,000 doge in 2018, it was a devastating blow to me when I lose them, till this day I still feel very bad and I haven't find any other coin like doge yet, I was this close to becoming a millionaire, what is the price of L7 asic miners now?
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good news or a bad news on: September 23, 2022, 12:42:33 PM
I heard this is just a routine, no cause for an alarm, also I think I like the idea, USDT have been audited by fairyproof and certik so clearing this rumour of USDT can't be trusted can make USDT be more trusted by crypto users, to me its more of good news than bad.
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will not survive the bear market? on: September 23, 2022, 12:36:46 PM
Many projects will start dying once BTC makes a new ultra-low in the coming months, I think the final capitulation will be around 12,000$ or 13,000$, and projects with very low liquidity and volume will have no choice but to park up and leave the space, no one will be willing to buy or invest in them.
1884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meta universe on: September 22, 2022, 10:21:42 AM
Axie infinity for me too @cryptoaddictchie but there is one project that can take on axie infinity in near future, the reason why axie infinity keeps topping the chart is because most play to earn games are still in work, illuvium will be a game changer in crypto space.
Yes Ive heard of it. Not familiar but its quite famous though. I am also eyeing with the game of Guild of Guardians, which I have some nfts and ready for the release next year. Does illuvium game already started and their platform already working?
Guild of Guardians is on my watchlist but I am still hesitant because of the tokenomics, the max supply is 1,000,000 tokens and its for sale at 0.17$ right now, I feel its still very high in value to make good gains from this project, if you feel I am missing something do reply.
1885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: In your opinion, which altcoin do you think is going to be the new king of POW on: September 22, 2022, 09:39:22 AM
With the way things are going I will be investing on BTC asic miners in future, I think I am done with pow altcoins that may decide to switch algorithms any time they feel like, only BTC, Dogecoin and LTC will forever be a pow coin, others cant be trusted now that regulation is getting more serious.

Wait, this is not like that HNT helium miners that need users around your city or town? This is interesting, I love those helium miners but the requirement sucks so bad, anyway, that's helium, can this miner work in any part of the world? I think I have interested if the requirement is easy.
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: testnet airdrops on: September 22, 2022, 06:39:32 AM
I joined a testnet last month and the tasks are so hard that I had to gave up, testnets are not straightforward like airdrops, and for the fact that you may never get paid makes me sick of it, this days its really hard to see new projects with a good reliable team.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Things look bad for mining but it won't last long on: September 21, 2022, 11:19:31 AM
I am also expecting ETC mining difficulty to have dropped but honestly miners are behaving stubborn this time around, no one seem to be selling off their graphic cards, for what reasons? 😂 we cant all be here proving stubborn, some have to leave and some have to wait, OP you are crazy, I won't dare buy any gpu at this time, maybe when 30MH starts giving 1$ per card though.
1889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I feel about play to earn games on: September 21, 2022, 11:10:47 AM
we are going to find out in the next bullrun, its the only time that theyd again be attractive to players. i have been playing one game but its also not enough to make a dollar a week.

if eth once again will go up to 4k. maybe those players will come back to earn from the game. payout always attract activities. axie players are also disappointed.
In the next bull run, if play to earn projects failed ot attract players around the world play to earn game on the blockchain will be total failure, right now I still believe in few play to earn projects that are building constantly in the past years but now all of them will be able to deliver.
1890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I feel about play to earn games on: September 21, 2022, 11:08:01 AM
At the end of it all no play to earn games can gives player the satisfying reward they deserve, there is no unlimited reward in play to earn games, the only thing that matters is how fun the game can get, people needs to feel like ' well I am ok with the fun more than the payout' its not how much people are going to be earning its how much fun people will have. The game needs to be addicting enough. Am I wrong?

The thing with this p2e is that players look for more challenge, and if you have been playing a game for so long that you might get bored and yes, you won't be satisfied as like when you started to play with it in the beginning.

So you look for other games, and then the cycle repeats until such time that the industry no longer has the hype that it once had specially Axie in 2020. Yes, it's need to be addicting at some point so that players will go back and play again and again, but unfortunately, it is not the case.
You are indeed right, games need to be challenging and fun at the same time, I am a gamer myself and the only reason why I keep going back to call of duty warzone is because its fun and very challenging at the same time, maps must be updated and new contents must be introduced per month, this is what keeps players in check.

1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's time for staking on: September 20, 2022, 06:23:31 PM
Stake coins that you are willing to hold for the long term only and mind you, this is still a very risky strategy, the altcoin can drop in value and you won't be able to sell and take profit while staking is on, I think the best bet is using stable coin to stake, BUSD or USDT are the best.
1893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't keep connected your wallet to a Dapps for a long time. on: September 20, 2022, 03:24:55 PM
I learned from him that we shouldn't keep connected any Dapps for a long time. It would drain wallet funds after a certain period. Always disconnect your wallet even if you connect for any reason. Don't just leave it as it is. Hackers have powerful tools to trace you and drain your wallet. Don't give that chance.
Thank you for providing this information. OP, I have a wallet that has been connected to my trust wallet Dapp for more than five months now, and I never considered disconnecting the wallet, but after reading this post, I will do so immediately, and I will reconnect the wallet whenever I need it.
What about the wallet created on Metamask, which is directly linked to their Dapps?
Is there a need for disconnect as well?
That's very bad of you, imagine a bad actor been part of the team of that platform you left your account connected to, they would have stole your funds mate, as a trust wallet user always disconnect your wallet after few transactions has been done.
1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MY two ipollo grin G1 mini's are fun gear. on: September 20, 2022, 02:52:40 PM
That's one shiny miner philipma1957, as always you are a blessing to this crypto space, can you please tell me how you these miners cost each? Also who is Marco? I am guessing he is the seller? Do show us more pictures, and stay blessed.
1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins ? on: September 20, 2022, 02:42:33 PM
Hardware wallet now supports altcoins in different chains, you can add other network when connect to a PC or through metamask, I presently use trust wallet and it's very safe but if you want the best then hardware wallet is what you definitely need.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run and Bear Market on: September 19, 2022, 08:41:27 AM
This is a simple question, When this bearish market end and Bull run start.
Thanks

Looking at the current market conditions, a well-known investor sees the Bitcoin Bull Run will start in 2024.
The reason behind this view is that the moment of the latest Bitcoin halving, historically has increased investor interest in the crypto asset.
You are right, the reason why things work like this is because of the whales, BTC is the first and the best so every halving shrink BTC mining rewards marginally, and right now history is already repeating itself, the final capitulation is in play, I still doubt that 10k per BTC will ever happen.
1897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Spend your valuable times and get valuable knowledge on: September 19, 2022, 08:21:28 AM
Bitcointalk is honestly overrated in terms of learning in general. It's great for having questions and discuss/debate certain news and topics, but if you're a beginner you're better off reading articles off the web.
I won't say this is 100% true because I've learned more about crypto mining on this forum that the web, there are some answers on here that I can't find on web, adding tweaks and clocking have effective answers on here than using google.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash for mining Bitcoin is no longer profitable - any alternatives? on: September 19, 2022, 08:11:30 AM
That's a bummer! I always thought that Bitcoin mining was profitable using both ASIC and GPUs. Now that Ethereum is gone, no idea what coin will replace it's place and how soon.

What is scary is that there are people all over Reddit and Twitter asking the same questions. They over-invested on their rigs because they assumed that they would be making profits for years until their rigs are paid off to be faced with this reality.

We warned them for months about the upcoming merge. We told them how difficulty works, how supply is capped. However everyone was like "Oh, when ETH goes POS I will just mine ETC, profits almost the same".

When will some other coin replace Ethereum? We don't know. Maybe 6 months, maybe 1 year, maybe never. If you like mining you should just switch to an ASIC and mine BTC or LTC if you got a good price on power. GPU for the moment will be difficult.

Actually when I first got into GPU mining scene in start of 2021, nobody told me that Ethereum shifting to POS will impact mining profits so much. It is only now I have realized that Ethereum was indeed most common currency people have been mining on GPUs. And I can't believe we won't have another POW currency to replace it. I mean, what will all these people with massive GPU farms do?

Regards
The crazy part is people keep mining at loss, the difficulty is so high that you will start thinking you are the one doing something wrong, why are people not turning off their miners already? Are they hoping for something else? With 10 RTX 2060 you are welcome to 1$ per day, this is crazy.
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Testnet hunters on here? on: September 19, 2022, 07:14:23 AM
The same way you choose good bounties is the same way you choose testnet to participate in, make sure the project is very very good and raising money won't be an issue at all, but there is a catch, they might raise the needed fund and still refuse to pay their testers.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC to $100 soon? on: September 18, 2022, 07:40:00 AM
ETC sucks as much as the new ETH PoW coin, why? Because nothing is been built on these projects, you can't just focus on projects that have only proof of work to offer, no smart contract equals nothing, it's a waste of time, this is why Flux, Kadena or even Ergo are better options.
