It looks like the curse isn't powerful enough.  Tongue The Bengals nearly came back in the second half and had several chances to take it back but the penalties killed them in the last minute or so.

Well played to the Chiefs' special teams though making a big difference in the last possession making Mahomes' job much easier as they got the ball down to the 50 yard line and as usual Mahomes and the Chiefs pushed it within FG range.
Yeah he did dodge a bullet for that big bet it came down to a field goal with 8 seconds left on the clock so you know Drake was sweating at the end.
It looked as if it was going into over time but that 15 yard penalty did them in. That was an unnecessary foul to put on Mahomes after the run because he was clearing out of bounds.

So it will be Eagles vs Chiefs in the big game in a couple of weeks!
Bring on Super Bowl LVII because you know there will be even bigger bets than Drake's for that one!
Wonder which team he will bet on. Back the same team that won inwhich got him to the road there?

Beastcoast playing against Evil Geniuses at the DPC SA Tour currently in progress so the odds looking good for a beast win.

Any bets on the Blast Premier for CS:GO?
Didn't have a chance to watch today due to other things but thought Astralis and Heroic would of won their matches being the favorites in their groups.
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: January 30, 2023, 12:08:09 AM
Well the Eagles match was a no contest. As soon as Purdy went out with injury with only 2 passes made early on in the game, their fate was sealed with a third string quarterback who didn't have a clue how to throw the ball from every down he had with the ball.
Easy 31-7 win.

That's what I was thinking of @ralle14. Bengals to win outright with Mahomes and Kelce injury but they seem to be connecting early on as they drew first blood with a field goal.
They looking steady out there so far and Mahomes isn't running as fast he usually is getting out the pocket so you can see he still has an issue with his leg.
Drake put just over a cool million on them to win. Just heard of this bet a couple of hours ago while the Eagle were just about finished their game.

So you know they are cursed now. Just have to watch and see!
1886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: January 29, 2023, 08:30:26 AM
Someone who is good at seeing opportunities like Elon Musk, of course, will not waste the opportunity to achieve personal gain, Elon Musk sees that bitcoin can be an alternative to making big profits and that is why he continues to proclaim himself as a crypto lover and creates a sensation by accepting bitcoin as a tesla payments, I think what elon musk is doing is nothing but a trick to create hype that triggers an increase in the price of bitcoin so that when he feels he has made a big profit from the bitcoin he has then he will throw away bitcoin like what tesla is doing now, so is the hype which he continues to create for dogecoin and I'm pretty sure he has thrown away all the dogecoin he currently owns after making a profit.
Elon Musk is a smart person and he knows that Bitcoin has a big future so he has a big focus on the crypto currency because he doesn't want to miss the chance that he will make a huge amount of profit in the future.  Because he wants to be the richest person in the world by earning money from various places, he adopts such a strategy. For this he shilling the crypto currency at different times. And because he likes meme, he shilling dogecoin most of the time
Oh yes he is.
And somebody at Mcdonalds had noticed a tweet that Mr.Twitter has put up earlier in the day.

Sportsbet Special for the Australian Open is available until the match begins in 1 hour and a half from now so grab it while it is still up:

https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/matches/today

This is the Finals so you know it will a tough one for Djokovic because he has been playing injured since the start of first/second round, When he pulled his hamstring earlier on in a match and has had it wrapped every match ever since.
But he can do it in straight sets against Stefanos I would imagine.

Also, ML of $50 gets you the freebet so, yeah I'm going for that!

Its not limited to ML though, typically any bet at $50 minimum will get you $10 free chips.

I won mine with draw on half time. Glad that I took them at boosted odds as well, which is pretty decent

Hoping to win my next free bet as I also lost my 2nd one  Roll Eyes, what a luck
So that is a good win a congratulations is in order this time.

FA Cup always seem to low scoring and the draws are usually the play at half time most of the time.
Right before the game started I was hearing Arsenal were not going to put their regular starters during their EPL matches so knew right then and there Manchester City were going to win.

Thank the lord we have EPL starting up again next week so we can get back to the reason we all like the Premier league again.

Funny that some books have paid out Arsenal as the league champions already.

I think both these semi finals are the closest games there could have been,

Eagles and 49ers had the best record this season and i cant decide who to take

KC as always is in contention to go to another super bowl , its hard to bet on KC defense but with the odds being how they are surely better play is to take the underdog in both the games and pray ??

I think regardless who wins, i cant personally wait for another superbowl !
It is a tough decision on who you could imagine will win the title for their respective division and go on to the championship finals for this season.
Seems to be like a coinflip in a sense for both the NFC and AFC.

I do like the Eagles and Hurts is just too good to let this season slide to Purdy who playing in his rookie season as the stand in for the 49ers.
Their odds have dropped since I posted them earlier in the week. And are now 1.66x for Phila.

Actually the odds have flipped for the Chiefs now if you go to the link above and look at the odds. And now they are the favorites.
Go figure. Wink

Both bets won I had on Windingo & Beastcoast.
For the CS match, MiBR had a slight comeback but fell flat at the end.
For the Dota2 match with Beastcoast vs Thunder Awaken was getting interesting as it ended 45-35.
The second map versus Thunder Awaken they were struggling but managed to finally win it after 63 minutes of a slogfest.

According to ralle14's above bet it seems the consensus is that Talon esports are going to win their match against Fnatic forsure. The way everybody has been talking about them on here since the tournament started.

I placed my bet on Geek Slate for the next match of the series beginning in the next two hours.

There seems to have been a shift of where the Sportsbet specials are placed on the scroll bar on the site. It is more visible closer to the left where the esports hub is placed as well.
That icon placement changes with some rules I am unable to get track off. I have noticed several times that my Tennis icon is shifting. It is one of my most "used" sports and usually stands just behind football but then it drifts off and I have to search for it. Specials are also roaming for me often.

Dota used to do that as well but now it is always on the end for me even though I use it daily.
Dota, LOL and CS:GO all have always been at the end for me on the icon placement bar.
So have specials and sports specials.
Only did just notice only the sportsbet specials have moved up.

So maybe it is just random as you have said already. I usually use the eSports hub when I ever do place any bets in this market.
It is strange yes. But it isn't cumbersome to me as I use both on my desktop and on my mobile when I am on the go once ready to place those last minute bets.
1895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: January 27, 2023, 12:11:12 AM
Placed a multi esports bet just now on both these teams who have won their first maps on CS:GO & DOTA2 markets currently in progress.

Had used the eSports hub available at the link below:

Good luck on our bets everyone who is actively betting on these tournaments!
1896  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience has a new pod miner, just in time for Christmas on: January 26, 2023, 11:50:54 PM
so i will run my 2 gekko usb hubs (with 3 compac f sticks each) together with the 2 new r909 pod miners using a rpi4. if everything runs well and is configured well i would get ~3.6th/s together Cool
Did it work out to be this hashrate?
I would imagine stable at the right settings and the right fan placements for the one on the usb hubs.
After 2~ months later you should have an idea if this arrangement works.
Was eyeing a gekkoscience pod for a while and I might pull the trigger on one in this setup if the time is right.

How do they compare to buying a mars solo miner from bitcoin merch and plugging in several of the compaq F1s into a hub?
Would the price of the 909 be relativity the same for the amount of hashrate produced?

He is trying to secure $3bln so to pay off the debt his company has incurred during this deal.
There was a trial just the other day where the lawyer who is overseeing the case against him accidentally called him something and it stuck.

So now he is known as "Mister Tweet" and he did the change to his username on twitter to so it is possible to do the name change on the platform.

There are no real sportsbet specials to announce until the EPL restarts next month so just noticed there are new ones for the Academy Awards since the nominations were announced yesterday.
That section of the specials can be viewed here:

Let's say for now he's most bothered about the growth of his EV company, Tesla than he is any other crypto.  At present, bitcoin's price is up by 16%, so he's doing everything possible surpass that mark. According to coin telegraph , the businessman seemed to had lost a lot in Tesla but has picked up a steady pace.
Although his interests may lie else where at present, I wouldn't be surprised if he falls to using Bitcoin as a booster for the EV company.
King of the Memes and his acquisition of it only bolsters his appeal even more since it was a done deal less than 5 months ago.

Yet now he has his head just above water with defaulting on rent to two of his offices belonging to twitter.
One in the UK and the other in San Francisco.
