1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 16, 2022, 11:35:25 PM

I like to bet against the majority. After all, I like seeing the Finals ending in Game 7 as it's been a long period of waiting again for another NBA Season.

Betting a combo for Boston Celtics -4.5 + Under 210.5 @ 3.95

This will be the first time that I will bet for the Boston Celtics in this series and aside from that, I have an active betting here in our place for Celtics +1. I don't care who will win the Championship as long as all my respective bets should win first lol.

Good luck to everybody.

Batch 44

Cheesy

Ginebra is always the team to beat here, they played well on their last two games and it’s good that they work better as a team now and what more we can expect from them if all are healthy, most probably another title for them but it’s too early to say so.

That's a nice win from Brgy. Ginebra however allows Rain Or Shine to make some rally at the end and for sure, there will be lots of the same situation from the other teams we can expect when they played against Ginebra. It's good that BGSM shows dominance throughout the game period but when the opposing team is now finally doing some catching-up, they are slowly crashing their momentum maybe because they are confident that they are now a sure win on this.

I can't imagine that the final score will be downed by only 5 points after putting ROS behind a big lead in the entire game. If they will be always like that, even a team like Converge can upset this team and turn the ball around.
1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 15, 2022, 11:45:22 PM
Let us assume that high odds start from 1.5 and above while low odds starts from 1.2 and below.

I play less often unlike before, I reduced the money I am using to bet, emotions gone and I win than before. How about you people, are you high odd punter or low odd. Can you also tell us your experience? At you losing or you make profit from the odds you are taking?

@1.5 odds for me is not worth the risks in most cases. I considered it as low odds and there are only a few times I'm risking money for @1.5 if I see a match that really looked high chance for me to win. I've shared a bet slip before or I think screenshot, risking decent capital for a @1.5 odds because I'm really sure that I will hit it. I will just repeat it again based on what I think about the match.

For @1.2 below, even if the winning percentage is high here, I will not consider placing a bet for this as honestly, it's more painful to lose on that odds compare to risking at an actual high odds. When picking high odds, I literally go with a high odds like a minimum over @3 or @4. I already risking my money here so why should I still be in a safe bet. Smiley
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: June 15, 2022, 11:39:01 PM
I was sitting and wondering, there will always be bad actors in online gambling but who is to blame, the customers/fraudsters or the gambling merchants?

Blame for what? Why the site is being abused?

In the first place, there will be no abusers if no such thing will be intentionally done. I don't blame the gambling operators as I'm sure they have a good tool to fight against abusers but it's just that these abusers are focused on how to take advantage of the bonuses.

The best thing to do here is to revise the bonus terms. Make it to the point that it's not that easy to achieve. I doubt these fraudsters will still do some effort if they found the bonus terms are a bit of a hassle thing to do for them to put some effort to take advantage of it. The fraudsters don't have the mindset the same as real players that have a goal of putting effort to achieve those bonuses.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 15, 2022, 12:46:06 AM
now, I have a question, do you think the man is entirely at fault or someone should also be responsible?

Obviously, yes. His act was intentional and he still risks it in gambling despite knowing that those funds should not be used there.

Why there should be other responsible for this wherein the case is already clear from the start. That man even is even arrogant that he doesn't want to return the money even the town officials seek help from his mother but have no success at all.

That kind of person should face the consequences of what he did. Good thing that authorities didn't withdraw their lawsuit despite the man showing agreement that he will return the money bit by bit. That's not how it works.
1887  Local / Pamilihan / Re: ♛♛♛The Finals - NBA Prediction Tournament♛♛♛ on: June 14, 2022, 12:47:56 AM
Golden State Warriors

Walang analysis na involved. A must win situation para sa Golden State Warriors dahil kapag natalo sila dito, yari sila next game sa TD Garden. Pipilitin ng Boston Celtics na manalo dito dahil magandang experience na makapagchampion sila sa homecourt tapos first timer pa sila sa Finals. Yan ang dapat iwasang mangyari ng Warriors which I'm sure naman alam na nila yan.

Parehong must win situation for both teams. Kumbaga, coming from an even series, mas lamang ang percentage na manalo sa series ang mananalo sa Game 5.
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 13, 2022, 11:59:12 PM
Gamblers around the world use crypto and bitcoin to play the bets. Do they really care if the bitcoin prices dump hard? I know traders are directly impacted by this dump, and investors are also in panic but what about gamblers. Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?

No. Gambling is gambling and regardless of the trend, gamblers will make sure to continue their gambling habit no matter what.

I don't see how the volatile price of crypto will make them change the way they gambled. I think back then, there's a thread where the concern is the other way around which is, does high price have any impact on gamblers or something like that.

And besides, this isn't the first time they experience such things. The gambling entertainment will continue. There's also a way or a method on most sites to use other coins to save fees and not just by using Bitcoin.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 13, 2022, 11:58:39 PM
That's the weakness of Magsayo, he is not a complete fighter, he has the power but in terms of techniques, he is still not that good. Actually, I am seeing this fight as the biggest challenge of Magsayo so far in his boxing career, and I'm afraid he will lose if he will not make an adjustment.

Weakness? I think we can't call it that way. If he is not that good, he should not be wearing the WBC Featherweight title today.

Maybe the best term for that is he is good but for sure has more to show off. He is under the watch of Freddie Roach and for sure, slowly but surely Magsayo is gaining more techniques and strategies day by day.

Just trust Magsayo. Once the fight happened, he will show what he really got. This is his first title defense and Vargas is a big fish as a challenger. He will not let any challenger dominate him. Less than a month to go now, Magsayo is surely excited to take the win on his first title defense as a WBC Featherweight champion.
1890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 13, 2022, 11:56:32 PM
Even though we haven't heard any 'official announcement' yet, might be just sometime now as they might have been ironing out few things before going out in public.

And as mentioned, maybe the date and venue is one obstacles that they have to settled. The network will have to come out as the best place for this fight is, and then the date itself.. I think money wise and split, verbally they could have talk it down already. And we are going to be privilege to witnessed another great fight if this happens this year.

I agree with you. I even think this fight is now almost a deal but just a few things are being properly fixed before the official announcement.

In the first place, there's no other boxer that both Terence Crawford and Errol Spence should fight but between the two of them. Even the majority of boxing analysts and known personalities are throwing their respective opinion that the fight should happen no matter what.

This is a fight that has no excuses or reason to delay or what. We will surely see this fight happening this year. There's no doubt about that. Maybe they are not planning to hold it close to the date of one of the biggest fights also this year, the trilogy between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin.
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 13, 2022, 11:54:00 PM
Same goes with online gambling casinos. If they have been years in business with no accusations then I might start doubting the legitimacy of the 1 scam accusation. Unless I was provided with hard evidence.

That's why our judgment will now be based on our personal experience in that casino. Even how solid the first accusation is, if it's still "unresolved" then we are not closing the book yet that something good is still in progress. As long as the casino representative is actively defending their stand and can deal with the evidence and proof, we can't say that their business will not that crash easily.

It's hard to take down a reputable site. It needs tons of scam accusations before their reputation will be ruined.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 13, 2022, 11:50:39 PM
You don't have to like it because the Warriors will not lose game 5, mark my words, I will bet my life savings for the Warriors in game 5 (KIDDING!). But seriously, this is the best spot to back the Warriors as they are back home and their chance to win at home is bigger than in the road.

Just remember that tonight's game is a must-win for the Golden State Warriors.

You can consider risking some decent bet for them or go into the handicap in favor of them. The Boston Celtics will surely be aggressive to take the win here because as I also mentioned on another thread, they want to celebrate the championship with their home crowd and that's a wonderful experience.

Warriors know the importance of Game 5 and they will surely do everything to take the win tonight.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 13, 2022, 11:47:43 PM
Tonight is a pretty big game for this series. Whoever loses will be facing elimination on the next one. That’s a position nobody wants to be in. While I do hope this series goes seven games, I am rooting for the Warriors so I’d like to see them get the W tonight. Would be great if Wiggins had another huge game. They’ll need his rebounding again considering how undersized they are.

More of a heavy problem if the Golden State Warriors will lose this game. They are about to face the crowd of the Boston Celtics in Game 6. While on the other hand, if the Celtics will lose this game tonight, it makes sense to think that they can bounce back as they have the crowd next game to boost their morale.

I see that the Warriors are the most pressured to win here as they know and understand what's next for them.

I see the Celtics will be pumped tonight up so that they can finish the series in front of their home crowd in Game 6 which is a good experience for them as all first-timers in the Finals. Can't wait to watch the game later on.
1894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 13, 2022, 11:43:12 PM
Of course that is not the case at all times, Warriors knows it very well, they lost from 3-1 up.

And adding to that, the Golden State Warriors surely understand the importance of winning the game tonight. There should be no room for any mistakes and every possession should be managed properly at all costs until the last buzzer sounds. Game 5 is somehow considered the deciding factor or turning point of the series.

Boston Celtics will do everything, as always, to take this game tonight for a chance to have that getting Larry O' Brien championship trophy at the TD Garden. It's been a while since the last championship takes place there. That's why I see them tonight as aggressive as they will be and will unleash their very best that looks like it's always their last game.

While on the Warriors, losing is not an option. It's a must-win for the Warriors or else, a big problem is waiting for them in Game 6 in front of the Celtics crowd.
1895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: June 13, 2022, 11:35:47 PM
What is the most expensive thing you've bought with your winnings from a casino or sports bet that you've never used or used only a few times or even maybe regretted buying?

In the first place, why should we buy something that we might regret buying in the future?

Even that "thing" is unnecessary and might raise questions from others that "why we bought that?", our money, our rules. It's like rewarding ourselves. It's good that the money was used to buy something instead of still risking to continue to bet that decent win on gambling since we think we feel lucky.

Winning a big amount is an experience that's not happening to everyone. Make sure to always have a good taste out of our winnings.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 12, 2022, 11:58:52 PM
SMB shows good chemistries now, with JMF being dominant back inside,

JuneMar Fajardo is on the purpose of helping a charity the whole 47th Season (All-Filipino, Governors, Commissioners).

He will donate Php200 for each point he will get and Php1,000 for every 3-pointers. That was the request of his beloved mother who passed away last year and the charity drive is now taking action. Aside from that, if SMB will reach the Finals, Fajardo will also add Php100,000.

Maybe that's one of the reasons why he is showing some aggressiveness and slowly regaining his former self, helping his team while at the same time, helping other people. A good initiative by the future PBA HOF or possibly the GOAT.
1897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 12, 2022, 11:58:06 PM
I sometimes wonder if the match that I'll be watching will be a fixed match or not. There a lot sports that I've watched that feels like it's a fixed match for example is Basketball that has a 5 match program. You can easily guess that it will be a 3-2 game or a 4-1 game as you'll feel that the other team are really just throwing the game.

Can you still recall the basketball series that has the situation you have mentioned?

Believe me, it's hard to rig a game in a playoffs series especially if that is a professional league. There is always speculation but I think it's not totally rigged rather there's a case of bad officiating and wrong call. And if those are rigged, it should end at 4-3 compared to the examples you mentioned of 3-2 or 4-1.

The longer the series, the more revenue will come.
1898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 12, 2022, 11:53:23 PM
Parenting would really be having a great role on making your children able to avoid those things but we know that not all children would be that obedient nor do follow everytime on what their parent tells them.
For government actions about blocking it then this is a very common step that they would really be making even though it might not really that 100% effective but at least they could lessen out
with those minor involvement with gambling which is something not really a bad move or action that they had made at least. The rest of these things would be talking about
on some parenting which would really differ on each parents on how they would really be doing or handling it.

Parents can't avoid the possibility of their children encountering gambling in the future. That thing can't be avoided and it's all about that kid's preference if they want to try it or not. Even those kids don't know the risks of gambling, it's not that automatically, they will try it. Not all children like to gamble and that's a fact.

Gambling is everywhere. Even just by walking in the streets, these children might encounter any related stuff to gambling.

Not the parents, not the government, but I think the gambling site operator itself should be strict with the KYC process. In most usual cases, KYC should require selfie verification. I wonder how these kids now will be able to breach that verification.
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 12, 2022, 11:42:38 PM
Some do even complain or being concerned about playtime with bench players is a must but with a crucial or once per year opportunity on letting your team in finals then it would be understandable for Kerr to put up experienced players on the court as long they arent that exhausted and tired then for sure it wont really be replaced by some bench players.

Take note also that even if the starters don't have a good stat sheet per game, that's not always the basis that they are struggling that night. There's a so-called contribution that is not listed in the stat sheet and it's proven effective. Draymond Green is a good example of a player who is always questioned because he is getting a good playing time but his stat sheet is sometimes clean or having the worst night. They didn't realize that the presence of Draymond Green on the court brings an impact to his teammates and a threat in defense on the opposing team.

Steve Kerr already knows the drill as an experienced coach and is used to dealing with the Finals environment several times already. I'm sure it's not that he doesn't want the bench players to be involved but there will be the right timing to put these guys depending on the situation.
1900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 12, 2022, 11:35:27 PM
its enough for the casino to lose his reputation with one legit accusation.

Let's make it clear, you are talking only about a "SINGLE" legit accusation, right?

Then I think it won't totally destroy the site's reputation since the majority still not experiencing a major problem using the site. And how can we determine that the accusation is legit? Just by screenshots, exchange of emails, phone, etc.? There should be more of it deep.

The bottom line, the answer to your concern will really depend on how that specific unresolved case is being handled by the site.
