If they are unconfirmed, then they can be potentially orphan. Most important thing is they must be confirmed.

So, after 12000 block, coins transaction should be fine to do? ie. deposits, withdrawals, etc....

2x 7970s, but diff going up so I signed up @hashfaster
Solo mining anything with 0.1 or greater diff usually is tough....

Every thing is working fine at tix.coinmine.pl TIX mining pool, it was Cryptsy that was having the issue. I want to thank feeleep for doing his best to help me out.

On the Bitshares forum, I heard there's a gpu miner in the wild. What is a good AMD cpu to use to mine PTS? I am building up a new scrypt rig and i want to put in a good cpu to mine PTS and other scrypt coins at the same time. I am going AMD because it cheaper. I already got a I7 mining protoshares.
Just get another i7 or i5 4 core with 8 threads/HT. I'm a AMD fan, but Intel runs better col/min. If you do want to stick with AMD, I would suggest the lowest a Phenom II x6, FX Series 6 or 8 core, and Opteron 8 to 16 core.

well... ¯\(°_o)/¯ I'm on solo, pretty sure I got onto the good chain at 11417... hopefully we can get this puppy to 12000 ASAP, contributing all I can ATM
What are you mining with on solo mining?

Kinda mad right now. on http://tag.hashfaster.com/ I was getting some coins but now we fell off the pace on the site. there behind by like 25 blocks so now we are not getting anything lol. all orphans. Hopefully it catches back up again Looks ok on hashfaster. I'm getting confirms.

Cryptsy.com
But at the moment, they are having deposit problems. Overall, a good exchange for alts.

Trade moment in general on bter is slow and there's other places that have better volume than them. I just use Cryptsy mostly and used btc38.com a couple times for PTS.

Finally my QT sync's completely. After re-downloading the QT and the blocks, now I don't get the damn error anymore. Plus I did all the addnodes too, now I can trust the using QT again...lol

So all the new servers are online now?
|
|
|
http://tag.hashfaster.com/ is the only pool that seems to be working, but the payouts are on hold until the 12000 block and/or 24 hours. But the pool is finding blocks at least.
|
|
|
Due to the nature of whats going on, no coins should be sent or received until after block 12000, which should be in a few hours time.
What's the reason for the fork? Just curious...
|
|
|
Are the orphans still high when finding a block or is the new version on the pool solves that?

Tix successfully repeated the fate of the dead forks. Well, or if the developers do is not to fix them problem . And I would like to believe in a brighter future.
Dead forks don't have a $5 million market cap What issues are you guys having? Mine is working just fine on a lot of machines so I need reports if something is wrong Sending coins from a pool to Cryptsy is an issue with either the pool withdraws or Cryptsy deposits, not the network or the QT Just strange that even if it's a minor issue, why haven't the QT and/or checkpoint been updated? I sent a ticket to Cryptsy about the deposit/transaction issues and believe it's fine to deposit from a pool as long as it's not a P2Pool. I know Cryptsy is having issue with server overload at the moment, hopefully they get those new server online asap and fix any database issues in the transition. Checkpoint I can do without updating the QT. I'll post the node I'm using to update checkpoints this weekend after Thanksgiving shit is done. It won't help anything except get rid of that error message, though. It doesn't affect functionality at all So the checkpoint is too old message is the only issue you guys are having with the QT itself? That's a nice easy fix that can be hotfixed. Won't even need to download a new QT, I can just update the checkpoint server Cool, thanks. Seems like Cryptsy has just fixed the issue with deposit and withdrawals.....It would be nice to kind of spruce up the QT and update it a little, but not a major thing if the checkpoint is getting updated. We have some fun things planned soon Right on...Sweet....

I did post it on this forum a month or so ago and also on chat at Crypsty, that they needed more servers and employees. I use to be a manager at my old job for 5 years, when you project you will have a certain amount of business, you slight adjust for that by adding proper equipment(s) and staff for higher than projection, just in case.

I obtained 72 Kx on Gigabyte 7950 at -I 12 At -I 13 too many HW. Is this normal?
Set the intensity lower. I had to use -I 10 or -I 11.

sent coins from coinmine.pl to cryptsy and bter and they are showing up at neither hours later
I'm having the same issue too. I send them from coinmine.pl to cryptsy or coinmine.pl to TIX wallet, nothing at all. We are wasting electricity to mine nothing at this rate. feeleep is the operator of coinmine.pl, isn't he?
