I suggested this earlier in this thread, and if a dev is going to do an iffy ipo like this, it really is the fair way to go. The LCL dev even did it for a little while. What I don't quite get is Poloniex's behavior in this. I don't have any problems with them holding ipos, and actually think it's a good way to avoid the issue of devs taking ipo money and not even delivering coins at all. But there should be some standards. Most poloniex moderators had no idea about the coin up to a couple of hours before its ipo. No details, nothing. All ipos should be fully vetted, wallets examined, info should be posted at least a day or two in advance. And the coins should be priced accordingly, and ideally have some unique features or something about that to make them special in a way. That unique feature doesn't even have to be anything groundbreaking, but it should be something -- basically a higher level of coin than the run of the mill crypto. If poloniex ran ipos that way, they'd make more money in the longrun. Right now it appears they are doing the short term money grab, which apparently is still working. But when enough people get burned (I'd think LCL would have been a signal to them), people simply won't do ipos in the future. If they are run properly, with both good coins and good devs, it could work out as a longterm thing for poloniex. Pretend Nem did their ipo over at Poloniex... that sort of thing. Even Monero or an anon coin flavor. Good coins would make sense as an ipo. Generic coins, not so much, especially if the dev won't offer up a buy wall. what the LCL dev did was Criminal u joker .. he set the buy wall Double of the Initial IPO .. giving Everyone that bought the first IPO a free dubbelup wich they Offcourse thank fully took of his hands Paid for by the 2nd round of IPO that PAID DOUBLE .. thats Ponzi scheme .. they put MR madoff away for a long time for that shit. further more the people buying the 2nd Ipo where told that Busoni himself would be holding the BTC they paid then lcl dev Asked him to put up that wall and he did .. Dont hold that up as an example as how things Should go cuz that was a cluster fuck. |

It wouldnt take that much for you to just change the name and start over that will be much easier then to try and dig yourself out of the hole you seem to be in. Why do you say so? Any logical reason? The sole purpose of this coin is to make you money and anyone who can dump them before price hits rock bottom. No other reason whatsoever. Its a pyramid scheme that leaves people new to the scene holding bags of worthless coins wondering why the fuck they got into crypto in the first place. I can't count how many times I've seen this happen where people get ripped off on this forum. First of all this is no such pump and dump scheme! 1) The IPO is escrowed! 2) The premine is 0.70%; significantly lower than most coins here! So, it is clear there is no intention of dumping. Just because you saw some scam coin does not mean every coin is a scam! How many IPOs out there have an escrow? your right there is a escrow .. but if you read the fine print (Very good escrow to actually put this out there) "As a Escrow I am only here to make sure you get your love coins. I don't take any responsibility of other promises from developers." So true Great escrow. |

In the last days of everything tested and compiled. Trying to change algo now would result in a failed launch. Which no one likes. That would be a waste of everyone's time.
