1901  Economy / Reputation / Re: My ignore list and my feedbacks and is Poker Player acceptable? on: January 17, 2023, 11:18:13 PM
In the responses I've seen in this thread, Yahoo62278 has said the most acceptable or becoming on the elephant in the room.
Haven't seen the screenshot posted by Royse777, I would say it is too extreme for anyone to go the length in trying to instill in the minds of clients what isn't completely provable on the forum. I've said it before whole referring to the Julerz12 case, we run a perfect forum here and everyone is expected to be perfectionist but, we are all humans none the less and as humans, we make mistakes. What we hedge on in the forum is our words for and words against.

I can still recall even Royse777 stated to have been scammed of about $6k in the bitlucy.com scam. Given the fact that, most users on the forum are always willing to jump at any opportunity one can find after some possible evaluation, it doesn't erase the fact that, you could as well be victimised. I didn't see the site representative trying to prove themselves on the forum since then like Royse777 did and still, his still here, getting contracts and managing them good too.
Having to pm clients on a trust score and discuss it isn't okay. I do hope we preach the goods of users as much as we preach there flaws.

On the screenshot of PMs, i could see at least 3-4 PMs in sequence for October, November and January. Unfortunately, none reflected December which seemed to be the month displayed on Royse777's allegation's screenshot.

Could it be as Yahoo62278 has stated or there is more to it...! At times I wonder why so much drama when we could just be at peace with ourselves, have your perception and just move on.
1902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 10:07:25 PM
Manchester United is already in very good form. They played amazingly against Manchester City. But the equalizing goal scored by Bruno Fernandez is what I still can't fathom because, in a normal football sense, I see it to be an offside goal, But it still doesn't mean that MU did not deserve the win.
Like, am amazed actually as to how that could count as a goal, even with the host of assistant referees and VAR out there. It's clear enough that, B. Fernandez wasn't in an offside position but even the more clearer was the fact that M. Rashford was. Good enough, he never touched the ball but he did run towards the ball.
Now, how is that not to course some reaction on the way the defence and goalkeeper would think. Judging by how clear the position of M. Rashford was and the fact that, he didn't run away from the ball but rather ran towards it, there have got to be effect on the Manchester City players and that's good enough to award an offside on that goal.
I don't think the team of referees did a good job on deciding that goal. It was an offside for me!
1903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 16, 2023, 09:58:36 PM
The way I deal with my losses is very simple, whenever I make a deposit at any casino I think of that money as being already lost, what matters is how I lose it,
Wow, really! Like, you deposit and see it for a lost fund? I literally didn't see that coming but, that could work. You already tricked your mind to the acceptable of a likely outcome and with that, you don't get no surprises if you happen to lose. That way, you could achave fun playing but, why being concerned about the way its lost if upon deposit, you already have your conviction on a lose? It shouldn't matter. For me, If I were to look at the way, it would be in terms of having the casino or sportbook confiscate my fund. That wouldn't be funny because, I never got the chance to even gamble and have fun with it.

Managing lose for me, I see it like the price I have to pay for the fun am having in taking that bet and should I win, I see it for a lucky day and some reward as to how well I know the game. Dead simple!
1904  Other / Meta / Re: How many forum members do you know by real name? on: January 16, 2023, 09:47:59 PM
I have at some point thought of a thread like this and having to see it now, just fills in for me and releases me of having to come up with some writing piece.

I am not expecting nor would I ask that anyone connect real names to the usernames of members here. It's just a casual discussion to see how many of our fellow Bitcointalkers we know or don't know.
I see that too for how casual it would be and I also like to assume that, we've got a lot of familiars here too, especially in the various local boards but, its something we can't just disclose.
Some have been known to be introduced to the forum by friends and they as well got other friends to the forum and I like to beleive we've got even some family relations here too.
If I a to take a vote on my part, I'll go with 3-5 lol... could be far less as well.

It comes down to the same thing kind of. Assuming, of course they told you their real name. If you traded fiat for crypto with someone, that's one way to know it. If you shipped goods or received a package from a forum member privately, that's another one.
Lol... that's definitely some ways to nail it but, its something that rarely happens due to the concerns these trades can raise on the forum and the real issue of privacy off forum for users that understands and values there privacy.
1905  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Investors will lose crypto assets in coming years – SFS Capital CEO on: January 16, 2023, 09:27:36 PM
Wth respect to the quote way dem SFS, I no go say them no sabi watin dem dey talk becus, d resources as per human nd tech way dey available to en office, he must hav enof info at en disposal. Watin e talk no bad o, na somtin way ft happen or not nd na why we call am risk. E no get any investment way no get risk but the most we ft do be say, we go dey compare risk to reward ratio before we dive in.

So the speculation say, we Naija crypto investors go lose because of lack of regulation, e also get the others side way carry say we ft gain too, either regulated or not.
One thing we gat realise na where to place the more risk. Altcoin has more risk than bitcoin and so, in looking out for an investment, you know where to place your funds and watin to expect.
1906  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: January 15, 2023, 10:02:48 PM
The biggest obstacle is information.
Getting the right information on how to create wealth is important. Some people have the information and hoard it while some do not have information at all. Some are looking for information and some have information and do not know what to do with it.
Also some are given wrong information.
Information is Power and according to a popular saying "if you are not informed, you will be deformed".
Information is everything. Little wonder why, we go through institutions of learning. It's simply because, you want to be informed on what is and possibly how to applg it for wealth creation. How informed you are actual creates room for improvement on what have been and definitely the news ways of doing a thing to have better result. Unfortunately, many just seek wealth without the necessary information on how to do a thing correctly or even differently to get better results.

Indeed, the lack of the right information is one of the main obstacles here. There are so many people connected to the internet these days that if we could know where we can apply our work and knowledge, who needs it right now, we would never be jobless. At the moment it's not that easy to find the right info, but, I'm sure, in the nearest future there will be apps for that that really work.
I don't think it's about the apps not being available or adequate to be informed. In fact, the Internet could be said to be be its pick and quite explosive as it is with lots of users making themselves a fortune off the space and yet, a lot of others still looking weary, seeking the government for there salvation. Its a question of understanding the tools at your disposal and how to use them.
1907  Economy / Economics / Re: More Money Problems that Bitcoin Solves on: January 15, 2023, 09:37:59 PM
Why aren't the governments of the world seeing the greater money problem that bitcoin, and not even their CBDC, can solve? Can they at least think about allowing bitcoin to coexist with their money? I'm not asking them to abandon their fiat. Can they stop hindering Bitcoin's development and begin exploring its possibilities? It hurts that they are aware of the potential of bitcoin and have decided to ignore it
Like KingsDen has rightly stated, the government don't care any bit about you. With the amount of resource available to them, it's hard for them not to accept the fact that, a lot of good can come from bitcoin or cryptocurrencies to its people. That's why, they've got a similar innovation in the CBDCs to fill in but, the ideas behind is what hinders its progress.

The government is about control and nothing scared them more than loosing control of its people and most of all, to its people. This is the idea bitcoin comes with, the idea of freedom of finance and that has been the major element of government's grip on its people along with its military power.

With cryptocurrency having a decentralized system of operation, it makes it a direct enemy to the government but the thing is, you can't fight freedom!
1908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 04:41:19 PM
Graham Potter gets to smile again after a very long time.
It's hard for anyone to deny the fact that, Chelsea deserved this win. So many goals within the Crystal Palace box, whipped several balls across and if K. Havertz was really good with his head, he could have scored more than one goal.
Crystal Palace suddenly brought there best play to the last minutes of the game. You could tell Chelsea was scared, trying to kill time while waiting for the final whistle.  They escaped due to the experience of David Silva, keeping the balls out and ensuring Crystal Palace couldn't find the feet of Zaha.
Headlines now is that Chelsea is back to winning ways, let's hope they could maintain it.
1909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 03:24:44 PM
Chelsea and Crystal Palace are no less interesting because of how Potter's current performance is at stake even though there will be no dismissal but their record so far is too bad to look at only now the match is still 0-0 Chelsea can only try but sometimes it makes them always fail to win, but for now at least there's hope with the time left.
Chelsea games so far have been less of an interesting watch with apparently, no player to look out for on an interesting play. They've been very active in the transfer market and I hope they offset that. Can't say I wasn't looking out to watch more of Joao Felix but, his red card isn't going to allow that at the time.

For there game at the moment with Crystal Palace, I could say Chelsea are having a good time and have been impressive. They are just having a hard time to find the net and that could be tied to the fact that, they don't have any real central forward on the pitch. K. Havertz came quite close to a goal but couldn't get his header just right.

Just now while I was typing, K. Havertz has got Chelsea there first go with yet another header and it's now, Chelsea 1:0 Crystal Palace.

The more time passes, the harder it will be to make such connection. And, in this case, it'd be even better to split it between multiple receiving addresses.
Yeah, this makes sense. At first you got me confused and mixed up on how does the dots connect in a service that is supposed to make that whole process go away but, being an assumption thing, it goes. Although, you could still generate a fresh receiving address to add to your difficulty and elevl of privacy in this theory but still, it doesn't point to anything with just assumptions to go.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure how the service fee affects the mixing level. If you click "boost" to get the mixing level to the max, changing the fee on the slide bar doesn't seem to have any effect at all. Whereas changing it on the default starting Mixer page increases/decreases the level of mixing.
By fees and mixing level I suppose that relates directly with the level of delays. The mixing occurs quite the same and the difference to it remains in the delivery times as per delays. Its just a prioritising of transaction thing based on pre-set delays with the fees to apply.

Over 10 defeats now for Everton and with the way its going, they aren't looking looking like a team that can beat anyone. When I saw them get a draw out of Manchester City on new year eve, I thought Frank Lampard's management was going to find his way to being on track in the new year and the next thing, you find them losing to Brighton Hove Albion. Today, they've got another lose from a come back and at a home side. How humiliating can it get and you can clearly see the fans staging there protest at the boards. Frank Lampard needs a page out of Ten Hag's play book.

Manchester United have done well to win the day but, the B. Fernandez's goal is one that is questionable for a good reason. Rules are really finding a way to keep certain decisions.
How do you question if the runs from M. Rashford made impact or not? Of course it js got to make impact and you don't expect the players to all halt to know that. An offside would have been a much more and less debated decision.
1913  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Intersango owes over 50 million dollars in Bitcoin to thousands of users! on: January 14, 2023, 08:03:48 PM
I'm a co-founder of Intersango and I went through hell and back to bring the matter to light. I'm posting this here because many people who used Intersango were regular posters on bitcointalk.

If you or anyone you know used Intersango please share this with them. I have written up a detailed account of what happened here: paypeoplepatrick.com
Your a co-founder you say! That means you were both feet deep in the running and operations of the company right?
I don't know the part you might have played in all this but, I'll like to think that, your at an end to whatever is owed to the Intersango as well and I this might be some way of having to reach the then users of the site with not just having Patrick Strateman to pay up what is owed to its investors, it would be quite noble of you and some good way for a start.

Not except there are other means to which your excluded from what went wrong in the operation.
1914  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: January 14, 2023, 07:26:01 PM
4. Yes. The greater the delay, the greater the layer of privacy. It'd probably be worth it to put that in FAQs as well.
Am still having difficulty in understanding how this is an advantage.
I mean, people seek for faster transaction timing and that would be the reason behind setting a delay time to be minimal and almost instant. Perhaps the privilege comes with a higher fee as it is synonymous with bitcoin transactions in accordance with the workload on the network.

Anonymity of address is one of the main reasons why mixing services are highly sort out for and as such, why would I pay more for a faster transaction with less layer of privacy compared to delayed transactions.

Is there anything like layers of privacy?
1915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 06:14:36 PM
Today should be my favorite weekend of them all as I watch how guys were defeated and talk about Manchester City. Liverpool is a unique team that would have to Imagine Manchester United defeating With City 2:1 I was overjoyed since Man City players and fans are always full of themselves and today is the day man, Liverpool lost to Brighton Allison was not fortunate this time.
Ten Hag just proved himself one of the best coach in the EPL at the moment.  This is what seemed at first like a impossible task, given the fact that the had to go through the first half without a goal on both sides and minutes into the second half, J. Grealish produced what many might have thought to be the only goal in the game. I literally felt the game was up for Manchester United and they had they day already but, little would I have seen that, Manchester United were still very much in the game and they came with guns blazing. 2 goals in less than 5 minutes.
The form of M. Rashford now is just so favourable for Manchester United and Twn Hag is definitely making the most of it.
1916  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The after effects of flood and to combat them. on: January 13, 2023, 07:01:07 PM
Flood
The matter be say, the government don dey too bad way be say, you no go even know when them do better thing abi wen them dey yeye themselves, dey turn country way for dey sweet everybody to where people go dey wish to run commot. Country way dem don rate as next market way forum investors go just come, make money commot and we no go gain anything. Na the lecl way we don reach now and na the corruption in the system don cause.
E don too dey easy to blame the government for even situations way we kwa for fit help avoid or at least, reduce the effect.

One of our major issue for this we country na say, we no even sabi maintain something. Imagine say government go run drainage pass for your corridor but you kwa, you no go fit still clean am. Instead, we go turn am to where we go dey throw-way dirty, dey wait make tain carty am commot. Them go tell person say, here na water logged area, person go wan sand fill am, make e for build House. Even when them warn of impending danger, we go cut corners to make our will happen.

Governor for my state, e go sand fill one full delta way dey help for water sedimentation, filtration and purification to use build Park. Na watin wan von do the function  abi na where the water wan go again. Na some of the matter be that.

We dey very much to blame as much as the government.
1917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 13, 2023, 06:34:22 PM
Felix is one player I'm so certain would not shine in Chelsea unless the current coach knows how to use him properly or they get a manager who can in future. Felix plays best behind a striker and that's is also Havertz preferred position so keeping both of them up front is a disaster.
Your really certain about that!
I really hope we don't get to right him off just because of that wrong tackle that earned him a red card in that game. The manager might not not at its best neither is Chelsea in any good shape but I think J. Felix is a major improvement to the squad and could do great things in Chelsea. He's quality is unmatched and he's already proving that in his willingness to go all out to ensure a Chelsea dominance from just his yesterday's game. The card was a fair warning and an introduction int the EPL, I expect him to be more careful when he returns.
He needed some time off anyway, you don't just get signed and in few days, your on the pitch. It shows how the quality of players in Chelsea have dropped and there eagerness to push forward.
1918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My business currency on: January 12, 2023, 05:18:10 PM
As we know today globally currently is greatly lossing it value as a means of exchange. There by the world are gradually using cryptocurrency as a means of exchange both investors and trader.
This part of the OP made me stressing to comprehend. You might want to rephrase what you've got there although, the theme is quite clear.

With adoption still the goal and increasing popularity, I think people are using bitcoin for day to day transactions when opportuned. For most, its for the fun of it as it is something rare and as such, you tend to take the chance when provided but, a time would come when it won't be uncommon in our world. The rudiments isn't a norm yet and so, one has still got to tread carefully, not to lose all them profits to market volatility.
1919  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: January 11, 2023, 11:17:39 AM
So, it is not a free mixing service. Right?

Also, what are the minimum & maximum value that you can mix at one go?
Of course mixing services aren't free. Aside from the fees you'll be charged by miners on transferring coins to be mixed, [banned mixer] gets to charge either a 0.7% to 5% of that other.

Minimum 0.001 BTC + additional 0.00001126 BTC for each output address. In total, for one output address it is 0.00101126 BTC, there are no restrictions on the number of mixed bitcoins, you can get acquainted with this simply by reading the expanded version of the FAQ https://[banned mixer]/en/pages/faq   the mixing fee ranges from 0.7% to 5%
How is this percentage determined if I may.
Is it subject to the volume sent and the congestion of the network respectively or both. Because, after checking on what is stated in the quote for minimum a visit to the FAQ link above, it seems to vary with what Daltonik have stated previously in that quote. It reads 0.001btc minimum and 0.00003234btc per output address, bringing the total to a 0.00103234btc.

If it is a yes on variation, are the values going to be pre-stated because, that could actually remind the user of the service on what is obtainable at any moment in trying to use the service.

Also, congrats on relaunch. Despite the little set back by the hoody guys with keyboards, the project is back with its relaunch and the Ann thread looks a lot more official now. Nice one on taking suggestions.
