Watching the development of the overall market capitalization is a good way to proceed. In 2017 there were 5,000 coins and even at the time when altcoins shined, Bitcoin dominance was not below 40%. After years and more than 19,000 new cryptocurrencies, the ATL of altcoins remains in the 40% range.

Of course there are a lot of problems with the market capitalization formula and a lot of coins in there that shouldn't even exist and rely on capitalization, but at the end of the day that would just make the numbers better for Bitcoin.

In the long term, simple and safe is always the best bet, even if in the short term there are good options. But when things get ugly in the market...... BTC shines.

To bastante com essa dúvida inclusive. O que acontece quando um documento de identificação precisa ser cancelado? Os sistemas publicas atualizam todos? Há uma comunicação pra invalidar o uso do antigo número? Tudo continua igual, e ai na verdade você passa a ter 2 números que valem? Talvez tu saiba dizer Joker, mas claro que cada pais talvez tenha um sistema diferente de comunicação dos números de identidades.

É realmente uma pena em vários sentidos, mas de todos eles, é o pior é realmente ver a Wikipédia como o 'palco da cultura do cancelamento', como o Ninja comentou. Apelar pra volatilidade do Bitcoin ou o problema ambiental nesses termos é realmente ir na onda das reclamações de forma super superficial. E sempre vai ser mais fácil ter um inimigo do que construir soluções, né?

Se é volátil, eles mesmo poderiam sempre converter. Agora sobre a questão do meio ambiente, atualmente eu já to até com preguiça do pessoal. Tanta coisa ja foi dita, há tantos comparativos, que quem continua nesse argumento, eu já to levantando da mesa e indo embora.

Acho que o ponto é realmente isso de ser randômico. Porque grupos de pesquisa on-line por exemplo não acho que sirvam a função. Também acho que os dados são um pouco 'exagerados', pelo menos nas minhas experiencias ''fora da bolha''.

Quando eu entro em conversar +/- aleatórias e com pessoas que não conheço, não estão próximas do meu grupo, pessoas realmente aleatórias, e falamos sobre cripto, o pessoal as vezes não sabe nem por nome e os que sabem, estão muuuuuito longe de entender alguma coisa.

Gente, uma dúvida! Ontem eu vi um post no twitter da BNB perguntando dos move-to-earns favoritos da galera e fiquei muuuuuuito surpresa porque ninguém estava indicando o Stepn, todo mundo estava indicando o STEP.app! E maluco porque mesmo que eles tenham 1/3 do seguidores do Stepn, praticamente todos os comentários eram só sobre o Step. Vocês sabem a relação entre os dois? É só uma coincidência triste de nomes? Alguém já testou esse outro?

 

Eu que sou bem menos organizada que o Ninja não consegui ir compartilhando toda a minha aventura. Mas tive alguns filhos bons, alguns super trágicos na sequência que queria chorar e desistir da vida, sofri com as mudanças de gst/gmt, mas finalmente consegui meus primeiros gêmeos e eles foram dois tênis lindos demais: um walker com eficiência 8.7 e resiliência 9.9 e um jogger com eficiência 9.1 e resiliência 8.3.

O que achei mais interessante do relatório, é a parte que eles citam sobre a adoção sendo direcionada pela inflação dos países. Eles trazem que os entrevistados de países que sofreram 50% ou mais de desvalorização de sua moeda em relação ao dólares são 5 x mais propensos a comprar criptomoedas do que pessoas de outros lugares.

O Brasil, que teve uma desvalorização em 10 anos de + 200%, tem pessoas bem ''querentes'' de cripto, o que acho que está direcionado também vermos tentar exchange gringas vindo loucas pro Brasil.

In this context, any policies, to be minimally effective in terms of controlling inflation, etc., would necessarily be unpopular and difficult to implement. However, there are super legal cases in the history of politicians who took unpopular positions, which after a few years proved to be super beneficial for the popular in general. But the first step to breaking this cycle is really difficult.

There are some ''facilities'' that I sometimes can't understand what they're made for, but maybe it's a matter of the type of users. Then I wonder what is the need/utility of these payments integrated into applications. Perhaps they even have more negative than positive externalities.

Bitcoin recently hit ATH in terms of correlation with the S&P 500, so as long as the traditional market doesn’t go up or something drastic happens to break that correlation, we won’t see new highs. And I think there are currently zero reasons for a great performance for stocks. It is not a question of Bitcoin falling in this case, but everything is falling, with few excesses, it is a complex moment and in the end Bitcoin rose infinitely, right, this performance seems normal to me.

One other noteworthy topic I would add: the more complex and brilliant, the less chance of success. When I think about the hundreds of white-papers and projects that I followed, I saw it being born, dying, developing, succeeding. I realized that the more complex and futuristic the solution, the less chance of success.

An interesting case may be the coins for IoT, which is much talked about until today, but little exists in terms of applications that could actually be used. And in that case, it can have a use, a great team and everything. But maybe it's just not the right timing. The case of the Star Atlas game is also one of those cases, a hyper AAA game, which has not yet managed to deliver anything, while other ''simpler'' games could be launched, develop, have their communities and success.

I think simple and useful solutions are the ones that works and solve everyday problems.

It's so amazing! It's been really beautiful to watch this adoption and all the amazing news happen ''in the bear market''. And of all the reasons that make me extremely happy to read this news, I think the biggest one is that adoption starts with ''renegade countries''. The fact that it is the countries far from the TOP developed/GDP is something incredible that provides a unique opportunity for the insurgency. And in the end, it's the same story of Bitcoin adoption by populations of countries without big opportunities.

Ontem eu vi a Giovana do BitdasMinas publicando ''Twitter torna DOGE moeda oficial''. HAHHAHAHA Acho que é uma das possibilidades em um futuro não tão distante.

Sobre os bots, acho que no twitter é a plataforma onde eles menos me incomodam. Quais tipos de bot em questão vocês estão citando?

Penso que essa questão da ''liberdade'' talvez seja das mais relevantes mesmo nessa discussão. Mas de qualquer forma, a falta de iniciativas pra combater fake news me preocupa um pouco. Claro que eu acho que cada um deveria ser responsável pelo que faz, mas enquanto coletividade talvez existam ferramentas que podem ser aplicadas.

Não sei se vocês ja viram, no twitter se você tenta compartilhar uma notícia sem antes ter aberto ela, ele pergunta se tu não quer ler antes de compartilhar hahahaha acho bem bom! Esse é um exemplo que acho que não faz mal pra ngm.

Semana passada eu fiquei bem empolgada com o Stepn e resolvi que ia iniciar uma fabricazinha também, ai fiz mil contas, simulei vários pra entender qual seria e melhor estratégia e melhor cenário. Mas eis que mintei meus primeiros tênis e hoje acordei bem feliz porque saiu um mint resiliencia 10 e eficiencia 8.5 que deu uma margem de lucro nas contas. Mas é meio dificil porque qualquer movimentação as coisas ficam meio malucas e tu n sabe mais se deixa em Solana o saldo quando o BTC começa cair ou o que. Mas enfim, animada com ter mais energias e brincar com a sorte   

I think that who will teach us about new technologies and innovation will always be the children. The world doesn't stop turning and every day in cryptocurrencies we live decades of evolution.

Children are increasingly digital. I don't think it's a case of teaching them about technology, but about economics, about cypherpunk philosophy about ethics, about behavior. I think this is increasingly difficult to be taught and learned by new generations. And having an oversupply in terms of technology and ''no difficulty in using them'', the question will be to direct their use, so that they can actually benefit and benefit those around them.

For a few years I have been looking for establishments that accept Bitcoin and talking to these entrepreneurs to understand the adoption. I was the first customer of most of these places, either years ago or today. The situation appears to be the same elsewhere in the world.

So, my tip is: attract hard users by promoting value to them in some way (events, parties, reunions etc)

Ontem eu vi que a dominância do Bitcoin está em all-time low histórica, que é o mesmo valor que chegou no final de 2017 e início de 2018 - 41-39%.

Eu achei bem curioso o dado porque quando vemos que ATL do Bitcoin é a mesma de 4 anos atrás, após mais de 14 mil moedas terem nascido (2017 havia umas 5k e hoje existem 19k), a força do Bitcoin fica muuuuito evidente. Nesses anos, vimos a insurgencia DeFi, dos NFTs, metaversos e dos games. Cripto ganhou o bolso de todos os institucionais, foi aos governos, e causou reboliços em todas as partes do mundo. Mas, depois da bagunça, todos ainda voltam a se refugiar do Bitcoin.

Acham que no futuro essa situação pode mudar? Ou não importa quais novas inovações existam em cripto, BTC continuara ocupando parte relevante de todos os portfolios?

Exchanges and any other centralized services - ETFs, funds etc - make all utility and benefits of using Bitcoin to be destroyed. All Satoshi wanted was for people to be able to transact P2P, without trusted third parties and in a decentralized system. The use that a large part of the world makes and that generates the biggest ''big'' news is completely against everything.

And the biggest problem for me is that when we use cryptocurrencies ''wrongly'', the risks are even greater than those of the traditional economic system. We are greatly complicating our situation, in terms of privacy and security.

Eu nunca colecionei nada na vida, talvez no máximo plantas (?) eu não vejo muito valor nisso de ter algo exclusivo que ninguém tem, não é algo que pessoalmente me atrai e me gera qualquer tipo de entusiasmo. No geral eu até acho um pouco ruim, principalmente quando são itens fisicos maiores que ocupam espaço.

Ai fiquei pensando em itens como carros, e coisas super de valor que podem ser colecionadas, mas nem nisso eu vejo valo e acharia um pouco ''demais pra mim''. Mas para os numismáticos - adoro essa palavra-, talvez esse caso tenha um super valor
