I always think that people risking this makes no sense to me at all. I get that there is a big chance nothing may happen like this again, it is obvious that doctors that I could not afford to pay if I saved every single salary I make are taking care of him right now, we are talking about doctors that worth millions of dollars in networth, teams that pay 100+ million a year on their players obviously wants the best hospitals and doctors at ready for their players as well, but still isn't it a bit weird? If there is even a 0.1% chance that he may live the same problem again I would say that it doesn't make sense to keep playing, I mean literally thousand to one chance and it still doesn't look like it worths the risk.
In any case, the player's health is the most important concept, and here the rules of the league already come in, as to whether the championship needs such situations further. Any person who is engaged in professional sports risks his health and his life and nothing can be done about it. Today's athletes are increasingly going beyond the line that separates an ordinary person and an ordinary athlete, and all sorts of devices that help to survive the inhuman loads that professional sports are fraught with are now mixed with the wonders of pharmacology. And only the athlete himself decides whether it is worth the risk.

And people suggesting that Aston Villa probably doesn't need that money
who doesn't need 100M? 😂 people saying that are just salty that a top class player is going to Man City. But 100M might be what the villans needed to finally push for something more than a mid-table position at the end of the season. Hopefully [and if the deal goes through] they'll spend that money on good signings, i've seen way too many teams waste that kind of money on nobodies who bring poor results.

If I were part of Aston Villa board, I'd suggest signing Coutinho (Barcelona), Belotti (Torino) and Bakayoko (Chelsea). Barca want to get rid of the brazilian and Villa would need a creative player, belotti's contract is expiring very soon and bakayoko doesn't have a place in Tuchel's team, plus he would add some muscle in the midfield. Good signings, eh?  Cool
Aston Villa has a great window of opportunity to sign new players, in any case, Grealish gave his best years to his native club and now both the club and the player himself can now deal with their future development. As far as I understand, the club has already agreed to the terms of the transfer and now the choice is up to the player himself, whether it is worth changing the club that brought him up and gave him a start in life and go to a new level, which is presented by such a super club as Manchester City. Josep Guardiola has already adapted to the conditions of the English championship and is eager for the Champions League title and Grealish can help in achieving these goals.

He is definitely beatable but harder to beat in a GS
Best of five sets matches give that little bit of extra security and time for top players to find their way to victory. Both Djokovic and Nadal are much tougher to beat in those long matches. Granted, if his shoulder injury is real than extra time would not have helped him this time around.
I was not so surprised with him losing to Zverev, he is a player that can beat anybody when in form. That loss against Busta was much bigger surprise for me, Busta is a player that simply has no weapons to power trough 100 percent ready Djokovic.
The most important thing is that Khachanov got to the final because before the final, few people expected that such a final would turn out and such players would play the final in the most important match of their lives. It's amazing how Djokovic started this season and already everyone seems to have started thinking, including himself, about winning the golden Slam, which only Steffi Graf had previously sworn, but it turned out that health is not unlimited and even such a super player cannot play on several fronts and play in the harsh conditions of the Olympics. Now we will see how Djokovic can recover and we mean that the young growth has felt the smell of blood and is ready to claim the highest titles.

Pogba can attack very fast and score goals. He can give great passes and assist. He must be allowed to leave as he does not want to be with the warm Manchester United squad. If he is forced into the squad, then Manchester United may not get the expected performance from him. Moreover, I think the style of play of PSG's current squad players is very similar to Pogba's style of play. He will be able to take himself with PSG very quickly.
Pogba is not the best option at Manchester United and he should not be kept. If the player himself does not see himself in the conditions of the current club and does not show the maximum of his capabilities, and we all see his capabilities perfectly well when he plays for the national team, then Manchester United should let the player go if a club like Paris Saint-Germain with its financial capabilities will apply for him. Another question is how real all this is, because the Paris club is already beginning to be tied to all potential high-profile transfers. The player does not have the easiest relationship with the club and the fans, and a potential transfer can be beneficial to everyone.

What a shame. I don't even know waht to say about it. I feel so sad for Seb, but unfortunately, rules are rules and it's same for everyone.
In terms of championship, good news for Lewis, bad for max. And extra points to Williams, it means a lot for them and I think it means they will get more money in the end of season.
The intrigue is getting more and more heated. If someone talked about a boring race and intrigue, let's get it Wink I do not think that Hamilton dreamed of such a return to the leadership in the championship, but we have what we have when the most incredible conspiracy theories begin to find real clues in real life Grin I do not envy Christian Horner from Red Bull, who had a large-scale disaster at the behest of Valteri Bottas, but I do not think that Mercedes, even in the most insidious plans, could foresee such a thing, which happened thanks to the accident of his driver. Alpin won his jackpot, which he hardly dreamed of even in his best dreams.

China is like that and Inter Milan are owned by Chinese corporation. They don't make sustainable plan and we are in the ending of the boost as well as a start of collapse.
A massive migration of their star players will make their results worse that in turn affects their income. If the owner can not solve financial problems, sooner or later, Inter Milan will be collapsed and they will have another owner.
It is a trend in Serie A when ownerships change to the US., Chinese corporations but if I have to say what owners are best, I would prefer to say owners from the USA.
I do not really know about Chinese expansion plans and all, but we have seen Arabic owners do a lot better for sure, and Russian ones as well. It is really weird feeling to know that many of the clubs in the world right now are owned by people who are not from that nation, premier league teams owned by non-British people, Italian teams owned by non-Italians. In that case I have the feeling that do you really think a person who has that much little connection with the team would really care after a while? Maybe that is the case.
Look at Leeds United story, they were gone, and a huge Leeds fan ended up buying the club, surely got a lot of investors but they came back to premier league by sheer love of the club and doing whatever they can for it. I feel like this is not really about Chinese, Arabic, Russian or whatever, it is about not being native to the land and actually rooting for the club since a little child, THOSE kinds of people will actually do their best for the club.
It's just that the Chinese owner of Inter has big problems in business and he would probably be happy to sell the club if there was a decent offer. This owner even disbanded his club in China, which was the current champion, because of the difficult financial situation. Also, the Chinese government already disapproves of its businessmen who invest in foreign clubs to the detriment of local clubs. In any case, if the investments of foreign owners allow the club to develop, and not to drag out a miserable existence, then this is only worthy of approval. Another question is that in any case there are costs and the example of Inter is a clear example of this.
1907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 31, 2021, 11:50:43 PM
Bale is definitely a talented player. And he has proven his skills many times in the past. I am hopeful that he will play well again under the leadership of Ancelotti. Moreover, no other striker of the team was successful in the previous season except Benzemaa. Ancelotti needs to use Benzema, Bale and Hazard properly this season.
Bale was transferred to Real Madrid in 2013 from Spurs. No doubt, he is still a talented player, but also he is 32 years old now. Although, he performance in Tottenham last season was awesome, Bale scored 11 goals in Premier League and 3 in the Europe League. He will indeed be productive this season in Real Madrid.
Hazard's performance last season was not impressive to me. While Benzema is really talented, he have been a key player in the Squad.
In any case, there are no contenders to buy Bale, and Ancelotti has no antagonism with the Welsh player, so there is a chance that Bale will be included in the team game again. If Hazzard stops being haunted by injuries, then it will finally be possible to build a team game around the Belgian player, which did not happen earlier because of his injuries. It is difficult to build a team game around a player who is constantly eliminated, then then gains physical shape  Wink Real Madrid, like any other super club, needs not only the constant purchase of new expensive players, but also the rational use of those players who are already in the squad and can benefit the team.

There are more news encouraging Pogba leaving Manchester as they will have to pay 15 million pounds for him if he got sold to PSG who wants to win his services.
Pogba has one year left in United's contract, and he earns a weekly salary of 290k pounds. United fears that he will give up Pogba's services after the expiration of his contract, and for this reason, he may not mind moving the player to Saint-Germain if he receives a suitable offer, but in return he must commit to paying the value of his salaries in the last year of his contract.
Pogba refused to sign a new, improved contract with Manchester United, stipulating that he would receive a weekly salary of 400,000 pounds which is a lot of money to refuse.
Giving Pogba for free would be a disaster for Manchester United, who paid a lot of money in this class to buy the services of English winger Jadon Sancho and French defender Raphael Varane.
It seems that Pogba has again begun to show interest in the life of the club, so the situation is not completely clear. In any case, if Paris Saint-Germain continues to show interest in buying, because there are no official negotiations, and Pogba continues to refuse to extend his contract, then of course Manchester United should sell the player. By the way, the issue with Raphael Varane is still not completely resolved, because he still has not passed a medical examination. Therefore, next Monday, Varane must fly from Spain, sit in quarantine, undergo a medical examination and only then finally sign an agreement with Manchester United.

Yup it now really feels like 2018 all over again.  Lol.  But we’ll see what happens in the race tomorrow.  First few laps will obv be crucial for Verstappen.  He’s gonna start with the soft tire so that’s two pit stops.  Hamilton will start with the mediums, prolly just one pit stop depending on how they react to RBR.
For me it's a very surprising result, I didn't think that Mercedes is so strong in Hungary, even Bottas is ahead of Verstappen. Were there any updates at Mercedes after the break?
Now I am even more curious about the race, although the Hungarian track is rather boring and overtaking is almost impossible, without weather influence or safty car the race will end like the qualifying.
In the last races, Mercedes clearly looks better already and it seems that everyone said that according to the configuration of the track, Hungary is more suitable for Mercedes. In any case, both Mercedes and Red Bull will continue to work on the car, because the title is at stake. In any case, no one has canceled tactical issues yet and everything can change with a banal choice and a change of tires. In any case, there is a nerve in the championship, especially after the incident between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, and I do not think that we will not see new plot twists and bright colors in this story of the confrontation yet.
1910  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 30, 2021, 11:59:25 PM
I doubt many people buy crypto currencies because of their use cases or giving people the power or because it's decentralized. Most of them invest in crypto currencies to make short and long term profit. Once they reach their profit goal, they are going to go back to fiat. Sadly this is the truth. As long as people keep on depending on fiat currencies for everything, crypto currencies won't be able to replace them. At best we will be seeing both of the currencies being used side by side. Even if fiat gets replaced, it will be by some centralized currency.
It depends on what currencies we are talking about. If the state cryptocurrencies of central banks, then this is quite possible in some cases, and the example of China with its experiments with the national digital currency fully confirms this. However, there is absolutely no question of a complete replacement. The use of decentralized cryptocurrencies of classical bottling in their activities is inconvenient for any state that at least to some extent controls or at least tries to control its economy. And there is no need to have any illusions about this, because no mentally sane government of any sufficiently large economy will rely on a tool developed by it is unclear where and it is unclear by whom, on which there are no levers of any influence. It's just that decentralized cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies are different tools for different tasks and goals.

YOU ARE WRONG man

https://sport.virgilio.it/linter-costretta-a-vendere-cessioni-lukaku-vale-120-milioni-682690

Inter Milan are unlikely to sell Lukaku and Martinez now. Antonio Conte should not have been allowed to leave like this. He was a very experienced coach. It remains to be seen how successful the new coach Simone Inzeghi will be with this team. But I don't think Inzaghi is more experienced than Conte.
isnt Inzaghi, but is Inter Milan want to sell Lukaku.. because need money.. if u remember previous season Inter Milan not pay wage at his players! FOR MONTHS!
Inter Milan win scudetto ok, but is in a mess (i mean money)
Even though Inter Milan are in a bad financial situation at the moment, Inter Milan management has said several times that they will not sell Lukaku this season and even according to rumors that Inter Milan is strengthening its squad by bringing in some new players at this time, I think lukaku will remain has a vital role for Inter Milan next season under Inzaghi coaching and it looks like Inzaghi will not change his style of play too much next seasons and it was proven by the big 6-0 win that occurred in Inter Milan friendly match vs CROTONE a few days ago.
Yes, I think Inter Milan should try to keep Lukaku at the club by any means. There is no doubt that with the current poor financial condition of the club, Lukaku is the most valuable asset of the club and you can get good money for such a player, but this will completely destroy the level of the game and the level of the club. Let's not forget that Inter will play in the Champions League. It was because of his participation in the Champions League that Antonio Conte first demanded a strengthening of the club's composition from the management and left the club without getting what he wanted. I am sure that Inzaghi will be very happy to work with a player of such a level as Lukaku. Another question is whether he will be able to cope and motivate the player as Conte did.
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 30, 2021, 11:43:27 PM
Yep, Ancelotti has a hard job to build a good relationship with the players and especially with those who have less opportunity to play or even got a loan in the last season. Also, he needs to bring back a good mentality and confidence in playing for such players as Hazard and Bale. These players need more motivation to play again on their best levels.
It's not just about the motivation of the players, because Real Madrid once mortally offended Bale, when Zidane showed in every way that he did not need Bale on the football field, and when a transfer with a Chinese club was profitable for both the player and the club, the club eventually did not let the player go. No one should doubt the highest playing level of Bale and Hazard and with proper coaching skills, and Ancelotti is clearly not devoid of this quality and was not appointed to his current post for nothing, they are able to help the team achieve high results. And let's not forget that Hazard and Bale receive a lot of money under their contracts and it is in the interests of the club to use the potential of these players to their full potential.
1913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 30, 2021, 11:29:29 PM
Uhm , I wouldn't not call Hungarian circuit a boring one as we had some really nice fights here in the last years so maybe we have the chance to see another good one Sunday.
I saw the FP2 and it looked like Mercedes came with something new as the car was much more balanced but I still don't see them winning the race just because in the last years RedBull with a weaker car always had some epic battles here and wins. Now , with a better car than last year, Verstappen should be on pole-position and also win the race.
Are you sure Cheesy?
I can't remember a fun Gp in Hungary ever and I watch F1 for more than 20 years now.
Anyway look at the weather Sainz said, are they expecting rain? Cool
By themselves, the recent events between Hamilton and Verstappen promise a fun Grand Prix Grin Another question is that it is impossible to speculate in advance whether this scenario will come true. There is no doubt that if both cars have similar speed characteristics, then bright events are waiting for us, because after all that has happened, neither Hamilton nor Verstappen will give way to each other even if they are wrong. But if some car will have an overwhelming advantage, then we can really see a rather boring race. Therefore, we will hope for a sharp fight between the leaders and that the second numbers of the teams will also interfere in the fight. At the very least, Bottas needs to prove his need for the team before the end of the summer.
1914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 30, 2021, 11:14:47 PM
There have been some rumours like Paul Pogba's manager has offered Pogba to Liverpool. It's really new for me. Because he has been linked with PSG recently. But it hasn't been seeming like this transfer would come true. Now I wonder whether Liverpool would like to make a serious offer for him.
Paul Pogba contract at Manchester is only 1 year away, if Manchester United really wants to get some money, of course selling Pogba now is the right option, especially according to the news that Pogba will only extend his contract at Manchester if they increase Pogba salary to 400 thousand pounds per week, and it's really a very high salary in the premier league, with such a high salary demand I think liverpool of course will also think again about recruiting pogba even though they are really looking for a replacement for Wijnaldum at the moment, and the only club that can indeed fulfill pogba request only PSG and most likely PSG will be the next club for paul pogba.
I wonder how long the mood will last for a French player at a new club, because Pogba is a mood player?  Grin Paul Pogba is undoubtedly a talented player and the last European Championship clearly showed this, but the difference in his game for the national team and the club has long been a byword in the hearts. Raiola is undoubtedly a talent for pumping money out of clubs for his clients, so I would not be surprised at anything, both that Pogba will stay at Manchester United, and that he will go to some club. Still, I would be more surprised if Pogba stays at Manchester United, given all his past tensions with the club.
1915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: July 30, 2021, 11:00:40 PM
I might have to change my predictions, at the moment it doesn't seem like Liverpool are in for any players, of course there's plenty of time for that to change, but at the moment its quite quiet on their front. A lot of their rivals have already got the players they have been linked with, and wanted. Its important in my opinion that you get players as early as possible, because then they settle in quicker, and can have a preseason with the team they'll be expected to play in.
Grealish comes across as a person who would rather be winning silverware, than be loyal to the club he supports, and of course there's nothing really wrong with that. They are professionals at the end of the day. Its easy for me to sit here, and say I would stay with my favourite club, but I imagine a lot of these players want to create a legacy filled with trophies rather than loyalty.
If Grealish does move to Manchester City, he will have a great chance to compete for titles not only in England, but also for the Champions League. Aston Villa can certainly snag some title in England, but certainly not the Champions League. Another question is that Grealish is the undisputed leader and unquestionable authority at Aston Villa, but at Manchester City with its star and strong players, Grealish will be just one of many and it may take him some time to adapt to the game of the new team and the requirements of Josep Guardiola. But one thing is certain, that Manchester City is very interested in buying the player and raised the proposed amount from 75 million pounds to 100 million according to the demand of Aston Villa. If a player has outgrown the level of his team, he should try himself at a new level no matter what, so as not to regret the missed opportunities later.
1916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 29, 2021, 11:59:09 PM
Raphael Varane: Does defender mean Man Utd are Premier League title contenders? according to this article  which highlighted the chances of Man Utd  contending for EPL title this season personally I believe the partnership Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane will be very solid at the back this season while the numbers of goals conceded by Man Utd will reduce and there will be stability in the defense I have the confidence that the duo will make a huge difference defensively Bailly and Lindelof were just an average defenders having performed below expectation its quite unfortunate that Man Utd had so far  spent huge amount of money on defenders yet no positive results let hope this season will be different what are you opinions on the article?
They will be good but I am not sure they will manage to attack the title. I see them on position 3 or 4 at the end, they just don't have the constant City has. Livepool will also be much better this season with supporters i the stadium and Van Dijk back from injury. Chelsea is also signing some good players and they are for me the team which will fight neck to neck with united for 3rd position.
Seeing how Tuchel has Pep’s number, I think it’s Chelsea that’s challenging for the title.  I like Liverpool’s chances too but I think they’re going to continue to cool down esp with VVD just getting off injury.  We can’t be expecting peak Van Dijk of the bat after 9 months in the sidelines imho.
Yes, the season is going to be interesting and unpredictable, and Manchester United with the transfers of Sancho and Varane also looks like a very real contender for the title. At least, Solskjaer is happy that these deals have already been settled and it's time for Manchester United to claim some title this season. As for Chelsea and its claims to the championship, the situation is not completely clear, because to win the title you need to win against more opponents than in the cup system of the decisive matches of the Champions League. I think that this season Liverpool should show their championship ambitions after a disastrous season.
1917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 29, 2021, 11:53:04 PM
Madrid hope to get him free next season actually it's not a bad idea, it's just that Madrid have had to go through this season with a player crisis
Yep, it is a smart idea, but no guarantee to sign him in the next season. Except, Real Madrid has reached a personal agreement with Mbappe and also PSG management for the possibility of his transfer in the next season. I am sure Real Madrid management has considered everything to sign Mbappe, what I said before probably did by them.
Regarding the possibility of a player crisis this season, I don't think it really deserves to call a "crisis". Real Madrid still has many good players, especially in the attacking line, we should be so worried. There is Benzema, Bale, Hazard, Asensio, and Vinícius. Carlo Ancelotti just needs to optimize their performance with an effective strategy. The real problem is in the defense line, mate. They lose two key players, the strongest CB they have. I don't know if the current defenders are quite ideal to experience this season.
A crisis can be called a situation when a team of the level of Real Madrid cannot win a single title  Wink I am not sure that the arrival of a single player, even such a talented and promising one as Mbappe, can immediately lead Real Madrid to the title. At least, neither the French national team became the European champion, nor Paris Saint-Germain was able to win the Champions League. There is much more hope that Ancelotti will be able to fit existing players, such as Hazard and Bale, in a much more effective way, building a more trusting relationship with them. It's no secret that, for example, Zidane and Bale did not have a human relationship.
1918  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto lead to the next financial crisis? on: July 29, 2021, 11:45:55 PM
The economic financial crisis with the crypto market crash that is happening right now are two different things and there is no correlation between the two. because we know that cryptos like bitcoin and altcoins are not integrated with economic problems directly and indirectly this will not be a cause or obstacle in the economy.
I understand better when the current crisis is caused by a pandemic that has occurred for 2 years now and is still continuing which causes at least losses in almost all sectors.
There is always a correlation, because everything is interconnected and does not exist in an airless space, just this correlation takes different forms and dependencies. In any case, the current price of bitcoin is higher than what it was immediately before the pandemic, and it was the pandemic that played the role of a trigger that caused the growth of the exchange price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. And if at first the price of bitcoin increased against the background of the catastrophic impact of the pandemic on the world economy in the form of a lockdown and bitcoin acted as an analogue of a protective asset for investors, then the price collapsed, among other things, due to some recovery of the world economy and a decrease in crisis phenomena.
1919  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: July 29, 2021, 11:19:22 PM
This fact shows that money is indeed valuable, but there are many things that are far more valuable than money. Almost anything can be bought with money, but the word almost means there are some things that count. Money is indeed very useful and useful for our lives, but not everything.
The question of whether money can make people happy actually goes back to the measure of happiness from humans themselves. While we know very well that in this world there are many people, who of course have their own standards and standards of happiness. We can't even equate the contents of two people's heads with the exact same, let alone millions and even billions of people on earth.
Bringing the fact so well, I like that idea of different standards of  happiness, not just saying but reality in life, there are rich people who already got most of the money inside their banks but happy enough to feel contentment,
While there are people who lives around rural areas , people from third world countries who are okay eating 2-3 times a day but you'll see happiness in them encircling with the family.
It's just that poor people need less money for happiness, unlike rich people. Everything is relative and if a poor person starts earning more money, then his requests and needs will change and he will not be as happy as before. There are cases when lottery winners are in no hurry to take their jackpots and show their face to the rest of the people, because they are not sure that they will be as happy as before after receiving a win. There are also known facts when seemingly strong families broke up after a big win and money broke up people. Each case is unique and even in a particular case, everything can change over time.
1920  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Elon is manipulating the market? on: July 29, 2021, 11:05:16 PM
I also keep asking myself what made him have to make a tweet that attracts market interest...
the funniest thing for me was when Elon said Bitcoin is so bad for the environment. I think if he thinks like that why is he investing in Bitcoin. he is really trying to manipulate the market.
The abuse of its influencer power is completely unforgivable. He is innocently trying to monetize the emotions of the crypto community with just twitter. Trying to praise, then avoid and praise Bitcoin again, of course, is an experiment of market manipulation by Elon.
He had a Tesla, but his greedy nature wanted so much more by invading the Bitcoin world to work on him. He's perfect for being hated by everyone.
Elon Musk is no longer trying to manipulate the market, but is really already manipulating the market through his tweets  Wink I think that no one will deny that it was Musk's answers and statements that made a decisive role in the movement of the exchange price of dogecoins. After frolicking in the altcoin market, Musk then turned his gaze to the much larger bitcoin market, with a much larger capitalization. The most interesting thing is that I am not at all sure that the ultimate goal at the previous stage was for Ilon to monetize emotions or work out the principles of working with the crypto audience. So far, there seems to be no special consistency in sight, but it may well appear if Musk launches his own cryptocurrency.
