1901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) is a shame to the crypto-community. on: January 01, 2018, 01:05:42 PM
To be honest, i don't know what to make of all the attention that Ripple is getting.  For a project being widely claimed that to be manipulated and the fact that it seems Ripple is the way into crypto that Bankers have been plotting, the trading volume of XRP is beyond insane IMHO.  Funny enough, this success has come about partly as a result of people not doing much research into the project but investing regardless.  This tends to happen with any coin/project which rises in value, because people don't want to miss out, they believe the hype and jump on board.
Unfortunately, even as the project is being run by bankers, in a bid to make quick returns,  the crypto community is essentially propping the project up.

Yeah lot of investors are attracted by the temporary price bump in XRP and I think it will crash soon so the people need to stay away from ripple.RIpple is a centralized coin which are controlled by banks it is opposing the basic properties of crypto currencies which are supposed to be independent of anyone. But some people can make good profits from ripple in short term,if you are smart enough just make some money in the bump.
1902  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SegWit wallets on: December 30, 2017, 04:36:05 AM
Just wonder, why big services are not using segwit wallets?

Well, that's what we have been asked since segwit has been activated but exchanges and big platforms seem don't want to use the segwit address, maybe because they already have fixed fees for withdrawal. After mempool has too many unconfirmed transactions and ask for higher fees, exchanges can apply high fees without let you know how much they will charge, as some people here already experienced it on coinbase. At least all of us in this forum should support and use a segwit address.
Yeah, coinbase is one of the popular wallet for bitcoin but still they don't want to use segWit wallets which cause very heavy transaction fee which is about $50 for sending $100 dollars in bitcoins. If it cointinues like that then it will affect the future of bitcoins. So people we need to use the wallets who uses support segwit address to have less transaction fee and we need to let know other people to use segwit wallet for lesser transaction fee.
1903  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Login attempt goes round and round on: December 29, 2017, 09:44:58 AM
Huh  Has anyone had this problem?

Can someone help me with my strange problem?  I go around in circles and cannot get into my wallet despite knowing my Blockchain ID and password.  I have tried to access support but so far they have not helped.  This is what happens:

1. I start logon process

2. I enter my wallet ID and password and click Log In

3. A message appears in the top right of the screen saying "Please
check your email to approve this login attempt"

4. I go back to my email address associated with Blockchain.

5. There is an email waiting for me with the heading "Authorize Log In
Attempt" which details the time, IP address, Browser and Operating
System. At the bottom of the email appears my wallet ID as a link

6. I click on the link which takes my to the screen "Welcome Back" with
my Wallet ID and password already entered. I click Log In and the whole
process starts over with sending me back to check for an email to
approve.

Many thanks!!

Don't worry it is not a big problem it is easily resolvable. This issue was faced by me also,I think this is happening due to the browser problem. So in the email you received you had a link too so copy that link in clipboard and open another brower like google chrome then paste that link in the URL bar then press go and your login will be authorized.
1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 5k to invest : BTC, Waves, ETH, on: December 21, 2017, 12:50:31 PM
Hi everyone,
I am going to invest USD5000, I think to create the following portofolio :

BTC 40%
Waves 30%
ETH 30%
TRON, NEO, XRP (??)

What do you think ? I am a long term investor
Best regards

I think it is better to invest on bitcoin, litecoin and ETH is the best because these are the bset crypto currencies available. So i think invest like this

BTC=50%
LTC=25%
ETH=25%

These coins are considered as the fure coins so it will give good profits in long term investments.
1905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i want to double my 1 Bitcoin in 2 days where to invest. on: December 20, 2017, 06:16:53 PM
i really want to invest my 1 bitcoin in other altcoin which is the best Liza or bitcoin cash? i want to double my amount so which coin will be best to invest in it.

As a senior member of this forum how can you expect this to happen Huh

Maybe you can do this only by investing on gambling but the losing percentage of your investment is 90%.If you really want to double your bitcoin in two days you must have to take this kind of risks.

But be a practical man and don't be too greedy invest half of your investment into ethereum or litecoin to make good profits with less risks.
1906  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: December 20, 2017, 01:44:26 PM
Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.

Maybe all will goes to zero too because bitcoin is the first ever crypto and it is the most valuable crypto currency of all coins so it is considered as the king of crypto.New investors are sttracted by the bitcoins growth so think some other coins also will grow one day like bitcoin did,if bitcoin crashes everyone lose their hope on crypto currencies and all coins will also comes to zero.
1907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to invest on: December 17, 2017, 03:32:45 PM
I want to put some money into BTC, just in case, I also wouldn't mind learning to profit off trading them weekly or on a daily basis, I see potential. It looks alot more easier than forex and quicker than stocks.

Where do I start?

P.S - How is BTC expected to be the future if it so volatile, you will always have to worry about how much your paying ETC.

If you want to be a trader then volatility of bitcoin will help you to earn more profits, buy low and sell high.

If you are going to invest on bitcoin don't worry about the price bump and dump make your invest in long term like more than a year then if you had enough profit then you decide to sell or not.I hope the bitcoin price will continue to increase in the future.

If you want to earn in monthly basis then mining also good option ig you had enough investments then start altcoin mining also.
1908  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is a bitcoin REALLY worth? on: December 17, 2017, 12:41:42 PM
Really no one can answer this question, because no one knows what is the maximum price of bitcoin and when it will reach bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is based on the supply and demand if demand gets increases the price will increases. But today the value of bitcoin is worth $20K,if you want to buy today you have to pay that amount, everyone hoping that bitcoin price will increase more so they want to hold more bitcoins so keep buying their bitcoins.
1909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learned so far, never sell Bitcoins out of panic in a dip! on: December 17, 2017, 07:20:11 AM
Learned so far, never sell Bitcoins out of panic in a dip! She keeps bouncing back and beyond! Lips sealed

Yeah, you are right we don't have to sell our bitcoins when there is a price dip because it will recover from it soon.I think it os better to set a goal of when we have to sell our bitcoins like when reach certain price so it will help to avoid these kind of situation and just stay focused on when we have to sell.
1910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: December 17, 2017, 06:19:32 AM
Stcks and Crypto are one good investment that people should not let pass. While both are good investments, investing in Bitcoin is high risk. No need to  a few pages, just look at BTC price today, the difference between the exchange site and Blockchain is just ridiculous. Both Stocks and Crypto are low to medium risk.

I think stock investments are more riskier than crypto trading and it needs lot of knowledge and only experts can succeed in stock market. But in crypto investmnet we just have to buy a good crypto and hold it for some years and it will surely give us profits, but we need to pick potential coin because some cheap coins will fade away with the years.
And as you said both have risks, nothing in this world is risk free so if we want to earn profit then we need to take some risk.
1911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret selling your BTCs? on: December 15, 2017, 03:55:31 PM
I sold some of my BTC couple of moths agao when the price was around $4000 it looks like I made a big mistake now the price of bitcoin $17K Sad Sad
But it is happy to see the bitcoin's growth so I am holding my left bitcoins I don't gonna sell it now,Maybe I will hold it until 2025 maybe the price will be $1M or $100M at that time. Grin Grin
1912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investing on: December 15, 2017, 01:28:39 PM
Do you often buy into ICO's? If yes, what is your experiences, is it easy, how fast can you cash out etc?

No I am not a big lover of investing in ICOs because mort of them turned into scam project and they will run away with our hard earned money.i too have some experience in investing ICO but I just sell my tokens quickly after the token listed into the exchange because many tokens will be worthless after listed into exchange so you have to cash out soon as quick as possible to earn more profits.
1913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does it make any sense to buy Bitcoin now? on: December 15, 2017, 09:32:26 AM
Does it make any sense to buy Bitcoin now? Isn't the price too high? Will it ever offer 30 000% returns?

It is always better to buy bitcoins because the price of bitcoin will keep increasing forever. So it make sense if we buy bitcoin now.
The price of bitcoin is too high now but in few year the price of bitcoin may reach $1M so when compared both price currenct price is too cheap.
Maybe it will give 30000% if your investment in long term like more than 10 years.
1914  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin Cross $50,000 on: December 14, 2017, 02:20:06 PM
In my opinion it will be around 2021 or maybe earlier.
But its after halving for sure.

Why you think it will take this much time to reach $50K,I hope bitcoin will cross $50K in the year 2018.in the year bitcoin made price growth from $1000 to $170000 which means the price just multiplied by 17 times in one year if this happens in 2018 then bitcoin will hit extreme high but I don't say it will multiply 17 time again just 3 or 4 times is enough to hit $50K.
1915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: December 14, 2017, 12:40:32 PM
If you want to save money while gambling better to stop gambling with bitcoins or other expensive cryptos. You can bet with cheap altcoins too so buy cheap coins which you just use it for betting purpose but if you win also it will not give good profits but playing with bitcoins is too risky and the price of bitcoin also keeps increasing so you can have more profits in future by holding bitcoins.
1916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Daily wallet on: December 14, 2017, 06:30:30 AM
14-12-17
ETH
XRP
DASH
XMR

If you are looking for a wallet which supports multi cryptocurrency then cryptonator is the best option for you it is available in desktop as well as for mobile device so you can access it anywhere. But never use this kind of wallets for long term storing these kind of wallets are insecure so hackers may steal your cryptos.
1917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend sent me .03 BTC - what to do now? on: December 13, 2017, 07:48:43 AM
So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?

Just keep that 0.03BTC in you wallet and forget about it for some months or years when you came back to wallet,I will promise you will be surprised your Bitcoin may value $5000 at that time or even more.
Trading is an option if you know about trading but I think holding is the best option than trading.
1918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Convert your BTC to LTC/ETH ASAP on: December 12, 2017, 02:45:20 PM
Bitcoin is doomed. It runs off an outdated rudimentary system which requires way too much electricity. It's only a matter of time before it tanks due to a major technical issue. Switch to LITECOIN which is like bitcoin but better with all necessary improvements. Sell off all your BTC and buy LTC cheap while you still can! I realized how shitty bitcoin was last week when my 5k transaction took almost a day and a half to confirm (I still have no idea why). I sold all $35k of my BTC and put 3/4 into litecoin and the other 1/4 into Ethereum and it's so much cleaner and more manageable if that makes any sense. I also just doubled my money with LTC in the last 24 hrs. I advise you do the same ASAP.

It is a good choice too because litecoin made an amazing bump for last two days so I hope you made a good profit from your decision. But bitcoin transaction were stucked due to more traffic in bitcoin network so loghtning network need to be implemented to save the future of bitcoin because the transaction fee keeps increasing.I send $60 in BTC and the fee is $14 it looks too expensive for that small amount. If that continues then pepole looks for the alternative coins as he did.
1919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price forecast of BTC in coming days on: December 12, 2017, 01:15:05 PM
The BTC has increased from $ 10,000 to $ 17,000 in a week, and people say that the bubble is about to break, I thought too. And it went down $ 13000 in 2 days, and again $ 17500 in 20 hours. and now it's moving around around $ 16000. What are your predictions? Up or down. And give the reason for that prediction. Thank you.

The bitcoin price looks stabilized now so it will hang around between $16K and $17K for few more weeks.I think like this because the price of altcoins are increasing now especially LTC so more investors will attracted towards altcoin so bitcoin will be stabilized for a while.
1920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The year of the altcoin on: December 12, 2017, 10:07:53 AM
Maybe or maybe not but still no one knows when the altcoin will bump and when it will dump,so we have to invest on good potential coins like ETH and LTC for good profits with less risk.2018 maybe the end of many altcoins because bitcoin is sweeping all the altcoins with its huge price increase in the last couple of weeks but only litecoin made recover from it price dump.So many shitcoins will fade away in 2018.
