Lakers Coach Vogel needs to wake up and learn something from that previous game against the Sixers. He should already see by now who's players are likely to build up a good performance if he will utilize their respective playing time. It's just happened that why just now he understands that using those role players are a big help. If only Lebron does have that kind of teammates who are playing at the same level last game, the Lakers might be in good hands. I'm expecting more minutes, especially to Dwight Howard, next game. Even without Anthony Davis as long as Howard keeps up on his good performance, they won't notice the absence of AD. Vogel needs to do the same setup he did last game. That's what I like to see from him, however, I think the chance is very low because his counter punch is not to damage the opponent but for him to only score and win the fight. If his counter is solid, he could have knock-out Pacman in his last fight when the legend could not even move like his usual. A win is a win though. If that's his style, then just focus on it instead of pushing for a Knock Out win. Even we think that judges will be side with Spence, Ugas just have to make sure that he steals every round and the viewers really see that Spence is struggling. Judges will have a fair result if that's the scene they will see, Ugas dominating Spence every round. Tough work but necessary to do. Paul changes the team from a playoff potential team to a championship potential team. This season, I see that their chance to be back in the finals again are huge, not underestimating the other teams like the GSW, Nuggets and Dallas, but as a team, they are so consistent and they have the best chemistry IMO. Chris Paul's presence really impacted the team where he is. His basketball IQ is on the top level that he can blend right away with his teammates regardless of who are those. Sorry, my imagination is very negative, but I'm just thinking of a possible scenario here. Upset always happened but even I force myself to think that Tagoe can beat Garcia, I'm really having a hard time imagining it. I'm a fan of betting on the underdog but I can't apply it to this fight where I should put my bet on Tagoe and expect an upset. Ugas isnt a solid hitter but does really have that stamina which you could really count on.I do see this would last in 12 rounds but UD for Spence if he wont able to take him down.
Lasting to 12 rounds and if the fight will be in Decision, Ugas is in trouble. Even Ugas is the clear winner of the fight, I'm speculating a boxing politics here. Without a doubt, a big money is expected if Spence vs Crawford will happen instead of Ugas vs Crawford. That's just my speculation but possible to happen. That's likely going to happen if Casimero won't show up again, this is his last chance so he should really work more hard now because he was given a chance instead of getting stripped after that incident in Dubai last year but I think that wouldn't going to happen this time as his camp is really focusing on his health now.
After that Dubai incident, Probellum has announced it clearly that this April fight for Casimero is his last chance and if that incident will happen again then he would be strip of the belt and they will look for a replacement boxer so I think they are now scouting or we could say that a "plan B" is in place. Probellum was caught off guard on that Dubai incident so I think they learned their lessons well and hard lol. Yes, we can quite assume that "Plan B" is just waiting and sitting around the corner if Casimero fails again this time but I think the burden is now passed on MP Promotions since Casimero's contract with Probellum have already ended last February 2022, IIRC. MP Promotions have been trying their best so that Casimero's won't fail this time around and as for now, seems Casimero isn't having some difficulties. Anyway, we will see this coming few weeks but I hope he will be healthy. Likely there should be another plan if Casimero failed again to show up. Paul Butler will have an easy path to the championship title and he will ask to defend it right away. Just imagine, Paul Butler will now become one of the options to fight Naoya Inoue or Nonito Donaire. Not unless Naoya will move up weights and that will remain him and Donaire who has the title. GGG should finish this fight first against Murata and go home with of course a win on his side to keep up the hype in the upcoming trilogy and in-order to get the people see that he is still compatible and have a chance against Canelo. Also, almost everyone are watching Canelo and GGG if they can give an upset in their respective fights.
Canelo has a difficult task to finish as he will face an undefeated champion in a weight class that he will fight for the first time. The difference is, Canelo is still on prime difference to the status of GGG that's why Murata is just a fair opponent to him. It will be a good Birthday treat for GGG if he will win the fight. Aside from the win, a ticket for a trilogy with Canelo. But from what I think, regardless if Canelo will win or not, the trilogy with GGG will happen. But if GGG will lose, the trilogy won't happen due to the fact that he won't stand a chance at Canelo if he can't win over Murata. |

this is why preparation is the key here and the strategies they are planning once inside the ring. as this is a unification fight, who will win will win big on this match. it is very clear that spence jr is highly favoured here. but we can't ignore ugas' skills. but in any case, i believe, we will see a very good toe-to-toe fight and that would be worth it.
From what I observed, Ugas is more aggressively doing some intense training since he is eyeing really on the goal to be the undisputed champion. When he beat Pacquiao, something has become an inspiration to him that he can also be part of the discussion on their weight class. Now that he achieved it and has a quick path to face Spence, he won't waste that opportunity. After Spence, just one fight away to become a Unified champion and that's against Terence Crawford. Los Angeles Lakers are trying to hold onto the playoff area now. And they had an away game against Cleveland Cavaliers last night. LA Lakers had a really solid game against Cavs and destroyed them by 131-120. Lebron had a very solid game by the way. He got a delightful triple-double by 38 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. And he was the player who got the biggest role in their win as always. Lakers played superbly especially in the second and last quarters which was helpful for a win a lot here.
The goal is now to maintain their standing from 7th to 10th. More likely that they won't catch up with 7th and 8th that's why they are still in danger of not being in the playoffs as they are only over a few win on the 11th spot. All remaining games are important. Even others are expecting them to have an early exit at the playoffs, still, it's good for me to see the Lakers at the playoffs. Reaching the Finals has a slim chance. They will face the monster teams right away if ever they will pass the play-in tournament. That sounds impossible to get through but a slim chance means there's still a chance. |
