1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloudmining experience on: September 28, 2019, 02:01:19 PM
In 2017 i decided to give cloud mining a try and i did get to follow the best ones back then and the following are the ones that were very good until they stopped working excluding minergate and nicehash.
1 Genesing mining
2. Hashflare
3. Minergate
4. Nicehash
back then many fake and scam cloud mining websites did scam lots of people since not everyone can afford to build a mining rig but i was so lucky then until cloud mining stop been profitable, what about you guys? anyone on here that make better profits from cloud mining?
My first journey into cryptocurrency investment was through cloudmining. Im invest in numerous cloudmining platform's such as HashOcean,Hashflare,Genesis Mining,Hashing24 Eobot etc. but some of it turn into a scam and others was stop its operation due low profitability issue.
1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should the libra project be halted? on: September 28, 2019, 01:01:01 PM
Right before the launch of libra the global coin, a lot of controversies is associated with the project. Amongst it controversies is that from Yves Mersch  an ECB executive board member who said Libra is a “siren call” that will ultimately lead to the formation of a “cartel-like” ecosystem.

It is noted that libra is designed in a way to give Facebook centralized control over the entire entity admist Facebook claim they won't be directly involved in the libra ecosystem.

However the group that will be managing libra project is calibra a fully owned subsidiary of Facebook which is indicative Facebook will still have full control over the ecosystem.

Facebook has acknowledged what many have been saying – that regulatory issues may be an insurmountable barrier to the launch of its Libra global cryptocurrency project.

And not only is Libra “based on relatively new and unproven technology,” the laws and regulations around digital currency are “uncertain and evolving.”

Central banks, government ministers and watchdog chiefs have been lining up to demand more information on the project over fears it could pose a threat to central bank money and financial stability, and provide a global avenue for money laundering and fraud.

In your opinion should the libra project be halted?
In my personal points of view regarding this thread was no need to halted Facebook Libra's Launch, cryptocurrency space needs to be open for competition to bring more opportunity in the industry! facebook's billion's of users can drive cryptocurrency adoption in a massive scale! Thats why no need to be treatened because Bitcoin has already a huge fundamental position in the market so it remains the King of all cryptocurrency in existence.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about this stablecoin? on: September 27, 2019, 11:40:06 AM
So it's DAI, a decentralized stablecoin backed by ETH.

History has proved that Dai succeeds even in a falling ETH environment. When the value of ETH fell from $1,400 USD in January 2018 to $400 in April 2018, the Dai system’s incentive structure successfully kept the value of Dai pegged to $1 USD.

Unlike Tether (USDT), Dai is completely decentralized. You can see how it works at https://www.hb-wallet.com/post/how-dai-stablecoin-works

What do you think about this stablecoin and its future?

I heard a lot of DAI and read how it was working to become a stable coin, DAI was not backed by fiat or whatsoever It was backed by Ethereum thats why its uniquely tied with also a cryptocurrency to make its value stable, But honestly im not holding DAI or using it since i was prepare to use USDT for a long time already to be honest IMHO i dont care if those stablecoin was not fully decentralized after all its just a stable coin and dont fluctuate much like the cryptocurrency does. thats why im not holding it for long time or it was just transitional usage to make my holdings value and price stable for awhile.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ripple not dead? on: September 26, 2019, 11:49:19 AM

If the only loser in 2019 out of 2600 suspects is Ripple, how is the community cleaning up this f--ing mess that we find ourselves wallowing in?

Your too negative towards ripple mate! just chill the market has plenty of space to accomodate old and new projects let the people and investors decides if what coin/token they pick to invest ,hold or to trade, i dont see any sign that ripple to be called a fallen coin. that was contradiction in the market data itself in CoinMarketCap, Ripple was still in number 3 position after bitcoin and ethereum and one of the most stable price coin in the market not like others so why everyone so hostile towards ripple the reason XRP was still thriving because it has the support from its users and investors and we cant deny that fact! thats my opinion.
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: September 26, 2019, 11:24:37 AM
Will you choose to invest in bitcoin now that its at 8k or still continue investing in altcoin since many big altcoins have already lose up to 30% value again, well i decide to invest in bitcoin if further value loss takes place and i keep buying bnb token and ETH too, good idea or bad idea??
I agree with your thread title and thats what i'm doing now! diversified your investsment in the promising coins/tokens in the market capitalized the dipping of prices in most altcoins not just bitcoin. buy in the dip and sell at high. so far i already have gaining some bucks because the coins that i was bought yesterday are already soaring its price. just choose that promising alts not just bitcoin.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 25, 2019, 02:01:03 PM
when investors and the crypto community already believed, but the team said differently!
- The team did not respond well to the crypto community.
- The team is very shady and does not provide updates about their projects on the telegram & social media channels.
- The team plans to take a vacation
- The team blocked accounts one by one from each community who questioned about the development of the project.
- and finally you are banned in this group  Grin

it's so annoying, how you feel?  Roll Eyes
Thats quite obvious reasoning for a shady project but lets face the fact that no matter how good the project and transparent in the very beginning. but we can't be sure how it will end, like the one i'm invested ICO project! before it was transparent and responsive in telegram chat  but things go wrong because of greed the team was suddenly vanished with millions that was raised during the ICO campaign including my $600 dollard worth of Eth. i feel angry offcourse but ive learn to let it go and start again.
1928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS's first hard fork, was it necessary or not? on: September 24, 2019, 11:37:28 AM
Before going into EOS, let us discuss Hard Fork - "It is a radical change in some fundamental aspect of the code that gets upgraded as the latest version of the protocol software."
Recently EOS has completed its first hard fork and as per the news it is the largest upgrade that network has seen so far, but the question is; is it required? If yes, then is it mandatory to create a fork?
I'm an EOS users too thats why i believe that the network upgrade is necessary to improve the existing capability of the network, Forking for the upgrade is not new at all, even Ethereum has been doing the same, Besides i think its not mandatory to fork everytime when doing an upgade maybe if it was required to do and thats it.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel? on: September 23, 2019, 12:06:40 PM
In time like this, when market is down, bull run has refused to come, panic selling, and all coin value depressed, especially for those who just rely on bounty who make campaigns, so many token yet to be delivered, some yet to come into exchange, those in exchange with poor value. I feel so bored, how about you?

I agree with your opinion and also i feel how you feel about the current situation. thats im changing my strategy and diversifying my cryptocurrency exposures and allocate more time on trading and im also putting limit in my bounty hunting activities and carefully choosing the quality bounties to join. just not like before that i'm loaded with a lot of bounties and leaving me stressfull and exhausted. but in the end i will get nothing in returns of my hardwork.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: September 23, 2019, 11:34:18 AM
Following 10 years of presence, the subject of whether the mass reception of digital currency has been begun is still bantered in the space. I would like to ask specialists in the crypto and blockchain businesses is there or have there be any huge crypto mass adoption compare to 10years ago?
Base on what i see in 2019 it keeps growing more and more people are exploring the potentials of the crypto industry. But still due to the fraudulent acts and exit scams in the ICO's the momentum was affected and slowly drag by the negativity cause by those scammers. Maybe after the popularity of the IEO's as alternative and safer means to invest in any promising projects in the crypto-space. i believe trust and confidence will return in due time.
1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott the Facebook Coin (Project Libra)? on: September 23, 2019, 11:15:59 AM
Facebook is the antithesis of everything Satoshi stood for.

Should we, as the crypto community, boycott their effort?

I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook tried to use their massive wealth and lobbying arm to try and push for laws that favored their crypto and somehow harmed others.

It wouldn't be the first time that a company had engaged in lobbying and rent-seeking to harm competitors.

Why everyone seems afraid of Facebook's cryptocurrency Libra what was real reason? I also read those so called articles about Libra and there's nothing new about it, Even Bitcoin has also advantages and disadvantages so why we get alarm, just put in mind that Facebook alone has billion of users do you think Facebook cryptocurrency Libra is needing us? for me the more important matter is how to address those scams that victimized cryptocurrency investors including me. That was my personal opinion about this Thread.
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty hunters and Exchanges. on: September 22, 2019, 02:26:13 PM
As a Hunter, how many exchange accounts are you expected to have. i have accounts in over 10 exchanges. it is appalling but i have not choice because i have to sell or convert my new earn tokens to an affordable cryptocurrency. is there any limits to the number of exchanges we should join as a bounty hunter?
i believed that more exchanges will still appear in the future.
what is your opinion towards owning a multiple exchange for trading.
It doesnt matter if how many exchange account you have, its very common to every bounty hunter wethere you have a hundreds or just one exchange account its being part of the process, in my experiences most of the bounty that ive joined was using ERC20 token thats why i dont need a number of exchange because im often doing trading in DEX i even buy some promising bounty tokens on forkdelta. im using Binance too for my day trading sessions thats all.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If regulation never comes on: September 22, 2019, 01:59:34 PM
If regulation never come anytime sooner can we protect ourselves? how can we protect ourselves from crypto monsters hiding in disguise, especially bounty projects coming into crypto space with full force, any ideas ? I know many are going to say we should do better research before promoting projects, is there any strict blows we can give these monsters by ourselves ?
Just be vigilant in every work and decision you made, specially crypto investing, Because while we are involve in cryptocurrency investment we should know the risk associated with it in the very beginning specially now that the regulation in cryptocurrency industry is not yet implemented if we are doing bounty works observe due deligence everytime we choose the bounty campaign to prevent any problem in the future.
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A quick disturbing question on: September 22, 2019, 09:43:36 AM
Hi fellas i am back again to throw a question at you all, this time i want to know exactly what will happen to coins and tokens that are listed on exchanges with no volume or too low volume after market start recovering, or if altcoins start surging in value, will these exchanges automatically have volumes due to the market surge or they will stay the same Huh?thanks
IMHO! some coins or tokens with too low volumes on different exchange can recover if the altcoins season will back as long as the team of the said platform's are still intact and the developmet of the project was also continued but most of those coins/tokens will eventually die or vanished in different reasons like delisting on exchange, no development and no token utilization, some coin/token are stay the same for a couple of months before it dies.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can blockchain favour big gaming industries? on: September 21, 2019, 05:20:57 PM
Is there any way blockchain can favour gaming industries like SONY or Microsoft? how can blockchain we used in playstation and xbox platforms? because i think this is another good way to put crypto into good use, we have millions on gamers around the world that can't stop gaming both offline and online, what do you think?
I think it needs time to adopt! Blockchain is a very promising tool to use for the gaming sector and if those Giants like Sony and Microsoft will adopt it, will thats good since it can drive the popularity of blockchain as a new versatile system to use in different fields, not just cryptocurrency but to all sector and that means great for Blockchain base industry.

1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitMex CEO bullish on Bitcoin Amid Fed’s ‘Rescue Operation’ on: September 21, 2019, 02:33:41 PM

This news report started a great deal of dialog on the activity of Fed and it’s potential outcomes, the crypto specialists return with a bullish Bitcoin gauge, Experts accept that Fed’s activity could result in Bitcoin value flood.

Well if that happen its good for the Bitcoin holders and the entire cryptocurrency industry as well, But remember this is just a plain speculation, maybe it will happen like 2017 or maybe not. but one thing is for sure the crypto-currency market was full of surprises and it will surprise us all beyond our expectation.
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cybersecurity firms are on the rise on: September 21, 2019, 02:23:55 PM
We are starting to see more blockchain focused cybersecurity startups pop up. The biggest and most established being Ciphertrace, Elliptic and Chainalysis but even small ones are popping up around the world.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/israeli-startup-that-allows-offline-crypto-transactions-secures-4m
Thats because the demand for cyber security firm services and product is on the rise because of the treats that lurking around and it wont stop there as long as blockchain and crypto projects is continue to flourished the demand for cyber security services and product will also grow thats for sure.
1940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: September 20, 2019, 01:43:42 PM
According to the world survey: https://www.loc.gov/law/help/cryptocurrency/world-survey.php

Many of the warnings issued by various countries also note the opportunities that cryptocurrencies create for illegal activities, such as money laundering and terrorism.  Some of the countries surveyed go beyond simply warning the public and have expanded their laws on money laundering, counterterrorism, and organized crimes to include cryptocurrency markets, and require banks and other financial institutions that facilitate such markets to conduct all the due diligence requirements imposed under such laws.  For instance, Australia, Canada, and the Isle of Man recently enacted laws to bring cryptocurrency transactions and institutions that facilitate them under the ambit of money laundering and counter-terrorist financing laws. This is one of the reasons why government will not take the risk on accepting cryptocurrency as global money.
That was base on a survey i think most of those countries that was survey has no existing laws that include cryptocurrencies to do appropriate measures againts illegal activities like money laundering, terrorism financing and other forms of illegality involving cryptocurrency. aside from doing KYC's on crypto users the space should be regulated in accordance with the existing laws of any country to avoid those problem in the future.
