Hello everybody. I have a Sapphire RX 580 4Gb, with modded BIOS (including memory timings) and overclocked until instability (1050/2020). It run under windows 10 with mining drivers, and Im having arround 25,5 Mh/s. I tried a lot of things trying to reach the "oficial" 30Mh/s that these cards are supposed to make. I even change my card for another one, but the hashes remain the same. After reading the experiences of several people with my same card and same hashes, i realized that 25 Mh/s are pretty OK for this card.
Now im thinking about building a dedicated mining rig with six Sapphire RX 580, and i wonder if the 8Gb version will reach more easily these "oficial" 30Mh/s

Higher hashrate depends on the memory manufacturer. Samsung best of all, Hynix/Elpida worse, Micron very bad. A good memory can keep the frequency of 2100+ which has a positive impact on hashrate. When choosing a card should be based on the memory manufacturer. This is not a guarantee of high hashrate, but as close as possible to him. |

Very fast miner. For comparison, the R9-270 sgminer issued 4МH and mkxminer gives 12MH (+2МH mode --asm). Tomorrow will test on RХ480.

Hey everyone just wondering what you guys would suggest I mine on this setup?  In the same Monero two processors will give 1200-1300 h/s. The question is different: if it is a server from your work, then you can not give it a constant load. Does it make sense? This is not a server from my work. Do you have any pool suggestions and software suggestions for Monero? I am just testing card. I will buy more if it run stable. There is no error on claymore log file. already tried restarting. I did not changed anything on afterburner. just updated gpu bios with polaris's one click auto setup. claymore & afterburner screenshot: https://prnt.sc/hlhglbWhich driver are you using? It is possible that at night the system automatically updated the driver to the graphics card and the speed fell. For the best result, in addition to changing BIOS timings, you still need to configure the card in OverdriveNTool. This will increase the hashrate and reduce the power consumption of the graphics card. |

I bought a new msi rx 580. stock hashrate: 22 Mh/s
updated bios with polaris. and get 28 Mh/s. Miner was stopped when i wake up.
I started miner again and it was only 22 Mh/s.
All I see is when 28 Mh/s afterburner shows 144 watt gpu power, when 22 Mh/s gpu power 132 watt.
Claymore stopped working with an error, or did nothing happen in the window of the miner? You can try to restart the PC. With what parameters you start Claymore. What are the Afterburner settings? |

I have a 6 GPU Rig and I have 1 card throwing out a lot of memory errors. Yesterday I think I have about 600,000,000 errors on that 1 card before I even noticed it.
My Rig does not crash, I have a very good Valid/Stale Share Ratio (Approx 1% or less sometimes). They only way I knew I was getting errors was because I have been trying to learn to overclock/undervolt more and more so I downloaded HWinfo and noticed it there.
Should I be worried about the GPU errors if my Rig is running very stable. Card is XFX 570 4GB and hashing about 28 mh/s.
I plan on trying to play with the card some tonight or tomorrow after I get some chores done but if anyone thinks of a possible solution I would be glad to give it a shot.
I am a very slow learner when I am reading and applying new things (alone) for the first time.
I am also looking for someone to do some small 1:1 lessons to possibly help accelerate the learning curve if you know someone or if you can teach it yourself, shoot me a PM. Payment will be sent for the lesson of course.
Out of memory errors on a particular card may reduce the amount found shares. Reduce your memory OC. |

Hello,
I am trying to mine Monero 3 different ways. One way, I purchased 60H/s ten days ago and I am seeing results.
Next I have two computers each with Core i7 CPU running at 100% for 4 days and I see zero results in the Windows wallet. I synchronized the blockchain on both of them and both set to Solo Mining on all 8 CPU threads but I have no results.
When I click Show Status, it says something like Height: 1460267/1460267 (100.0%) on mainnet, mining at 119 H/s, net has 369.69 MH/s, v6, up to date, 8(out)+0(in) connections, uptime 3d 18h 46m 59s
Am I doing something wrong, or am I just wasting electricity with these two rigs? Thanks!
And use of all cores/threads in the extraction of Monero does not give the best result. The number of active cores/threads is calculated using the formula: number of coresi/L3 cache |

Since NiceHash got hacked, I'm looking for a similar pool where I can use my GPUs to mine altcoins and get paid in BTC. Zpool seems to be a good fit, but I can't figure out how to mine. Specifically, I don't know what mining software to use.

Я участвовал в каком-то Airdrop, и там в описание было написано, если вы не жертвуете денюшку, то ставьте "0", вот я теперь везде? где просят ввести Hx hash ставлю ноль  . Правда пока нечего и не зачисли по ним И вряд ли зачислят. Очень малое количество эйрдропов, которые просят донат разрешают его не делать, т.е. по желанию участника. А так это обязательно правило: не сделал донат - не получил токены. Всем привет.

А что тут думать? Сам сейчас в такой же кампании. Была до середины декабря и продлили до середины января. Сам решай, что делать - остаться или уйти. Всегда будет казаться, что какая-то другая подписная более перспективная с точки зрения профита и т.д. Я в своей остаюсь. Выводы сделаю конечно, но тут не от баунти-менеджера зависит. Я человек очень принципиальный, и если так со мной поступают, то иду на принцип, просто по другому не могу. Кроме того, если бы с самого начала было бы в правилах середина января, не пошел бы. Хотел посоветоваться с теми кто тоже носит ту же подпись Я бы не сказал что все зависит от менеджера. Это может быть сторонний человек, такой же участник как и вы. Его поставили перед фактом, он изменил условия. Тут как по мне все зависит от разрабов. Правильно ли они все спланировали и придерживаются ли графиков. Вот и все. Не от планов разрабов, а от продажи токенов на pre-sale/pre-ICO или main-sale/ICO. Не достигли софт или хард капы и перенесли сроки окончания. Сплошь и рядом. |
