Found another block today, that 1 block is definitely possible.

I not sure what John is talking about when he mentioned soloing on this pool:

http://pool01.vanillacoin.net/

I tried mining that pool for 2 hours @ 1 gh's and had no luck so I left and went to suprnova.

This was the info I used to mine with. Does it look correct? Thanks

stratum+tcp://pool01.vanillacoin.net:3032

worker name: my vanilla coin address

password: any password

That pool just found one block:

http://pool01.vanillacoin.net/tbs

Your address looks fine, but it's like comparing the odds of ~2/(current difficulty) for finding a block on that pool, the reason why I haven't joined it as I could do that myself if I were to solo. If it were at least 5 blocks a day, then that's fine.

I'm also at supernova, but I think it's quite stupid for the entire dam hash to be on one pool, only if the hash were split up between at least two pools, then us smaller miners could certainly do better.

That's good to know man!

Just need that GPU pool and then we should be good as far as mining is concerned.

The pool is down?

Edit: I guess it's back up.

This means we are almost ready for GPU pool!  Smiley

Thank You,
Viz.

Finally man, let there be fair mining from then on.....

For soloing this coin, would it be the same way like every other coin?

Soloing with cpu (in-wallet) or gpu?

Either way it wouldn't really be effective, pool mining should be a more stable source of income since the hash has pretty high spikes (and also a high avarage) since 1-2 weeks.

I meant GPU. Well you have a point, although the average definitely varies per day.

But just hitting one block would earn me more than the entire time on the pool.

But I dont think you could get that 1 block with solo.

Found one earlier this morning, no harm in trying.....

How much hash did you have? I've got 1.8GH/s out of one of my rigs; maybe I'll solo for a while.

1 GH/s.

If you take a look at the blocks page, you'll see smaller miners finding blocks at <20K difficulty. I found it at 19K.

1GH/s  Shocked

"The way it's meant to be mined" :p

You can only solo mine currently if you get a daemon a pool and a stratum, so basically you set up a private pool. There was no need for a different approach since the shift from the in-wallet cpu mining period happened together with the release of the first gpu miner + the official pool.

Oh alright, thanks for the info though.

So which one of you guys is Mr. Spoon?

didi you say mr spread - i mean - spoon? ...

Wink ...

#crysx

Mr Spread = History.

Mr Spoon is the guy with the highest hash mining this coin, that's when he's mining it.

Dam this difficulty.

Am I the only miner at cestballot's pool right now?

I'm always there, just not with 2 million cores.

So, Robert de Niro.

A normal panic sell is when everybody sell on the buys of many.
here everybody sold to the buy of one.
Nobody alone pass from 200k to 400k coin just to give btc to the dumpers.
It's the biggest accumulating phase since the crypto was invented.
Am I wrong?

This was definitely some kind of forced dumped, for some one to accumulate it.

The candle sticks make no sense of the wave form on bittrex after 3800.

i saw this comming hours ago.

i´m sorry for the burned guys.  Embarrassed

as a miner i saw the profits were not normal... the price was a bubble, for no reason.

i hope this coin stays alive and gets better.

What do you mean by bubble?

All fake buys, dumpers waiting for victims to put up buy orders.

Not fake, i bought 2 btc worth of CYP so just STFU troll  Cool

Bro, you can claim to even have bought 5 BTC, but that doesn't really help your argument. Let's hear what these guys have to say first.....

So at what price do you think that the major dump to end this coin is gonna take place?
