While we're disappointed to hear this news, we respect Killakem's decision and the way in which he has conducted himself. It is a lamentable fact that holders of a coin are able to influence the strategic partnerships it maintains - and often against the intentions of the core team. We have witnessed this in the run-up to the Blocknet's ITO, with SDC. We are witnessing it again. That said, let me underline the change in Fibre's relation to the Blocknet: - Fibre is still able, at any point and for free - to become Blocknet-enabled. - Any other developer can, at any point, create a Blocknet-enabled Fibre wallet or app. ( Github) - Fibre no longer participates in the weekly running of the Blocknet, and they no longer have a say in its development. We welcome Fibre's continued participation on Slack and on this thread. The Blocknet was created for all crypto and is an open framework. There is no "us vs. them" for the Blocknet. We wish them all the best. Thank you Synechist for all your hard work! Thanks to You Blocknet will have its success for sure and thanks to You Blocknet could happen ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) We wish you all big rewards from Blocknet market! All the best guys

-----------------------------------------------UPDATE-----------------------------------------------
Fibre will be leaving the Blocknet Project.
It is with great regret that I have to inform you Fibre is leaving the Blocknet project. This decision was not easy to make, the reasons being community/investor demand and a change of direction for Fibre in 2015. My opinion of Blocknet has not changed, it will one day be a very successful project. However, I have a duty to look after the interest of our investors and my personal opinion cannot override my decision making for Fibre.
I have built a great working relationships with some of the guys involved and I wish Blocknet and all participating coins all the best in future.
Regards,
Killakem
----We had a great 2014, 2015 is the year Fibre will hit its true potential----

Bittrex is now on the correct chain.
Infinitechaos's coins that he sent from bittrex during the fork have appeared back in his wallet.
Follow the steps above and you will be on the correct chain.
Great to hear, thanks for handling things quick and in pro style

You think it's just the block explorer? I made a withdrawal from Bittrex this afternoon and hours later the tx ID they gave me is still not on the blockchain according to the block explorer, nor is the address to which I made the withdrawal (it's a fresh address from a fresh wallet.dat). The block explorer says block 150140 from almost 24 hours ago, yet my wallet client says it is on block 153506 and my coins still have not shown up.
So my question is, am I on the right block? And if so, how might I go about getting my coins to show up in my wallet? Bittrex says the matter is out of their hands, as their OCUPY wallets are showing the same as the block explorer, that no blocks have been generated in almost 24 hours.
Yes something is not right Everyone i suggest stop doing any transactions until issue is fixed by devs

Last block generated 2015-02-27 22:27:29.
That was 17 hours ago. What's the dealio?
I noticed block explorers are catching up after some time @ocupydev proper block explorer is needed like https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ please consider it

Let me know before i start tweeting about faucet ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) The transfer was straight from a Cryptsy account, so I suspect the funds cannot be returned easily. I'll just forget about it, no problem. Let's spread them all over! Cheers

Hi. I have a question on my mind for fibre (but really for all alts). If fibre services can be utilised through a platform (ie ocupy) then what will be the future incentive for a just owning fibre outright? As in, what would create demand and price inflation if you don't need to buy coins?
Is the future of altcoin demand based on receiving fees for the services supplied by a network?
Just trying to understand current and future trends / vision and all the platforms popping up (supernet, blocknet, ocupy) that offer users the features of participating coins without the need for ownership.
Have I understood this right?
The goal in near future is to let people be Fibre nodes when Fibre services are utilised through platforms like Blocknet, Ocupy etc... You will be able then to receive fees for setting up node and helping running these services like zerotrust and others which appear next There will be some amount of Fibre required to be a node but limits weren`t set for now

Thanks mxxxxxx, anyway if the faucet gets properly promoted and helps wide adoption, I'm fine with this surprise donation. As I can provide no tech help, this is an easy contribution ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You are good man and great supporter but if you want just contact the faucet owner. After release we will start promo again probably with bitcoinprbuzz ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) as they did awesome job last time Let me know before i start tweeting about faucet ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Oops, 'sent 800 fibre to the faucet by mistake ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Sure will have a good laugh when fibre reaches a thousand bucks a piece! The faucet doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere on fibrecoin.com I imagine a link could be added on the "Getting started" page. Yes, when we have some free time we will update the website Try to contact faucet owner and tell him you sent too much by mistake https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=365075 info@bchain.infoLet me know how it went

I still have quite some FIBRE from way back and noticed things are happening again. Anybody can fill me in?
Zero trust is about to be released. Sounds dodgy ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Is it basically a shared blockchain with Occupy coin? I will update you, Fibre ZeroTrust will be the official transaction protocol of Ocupy network >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UPDATE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< It is my pleasure to announce the Fibre-Ocupy collaboration. While Bobby and Mammix2 completed ZeroTrust, amongst working on some smaller projects for Fibre I provided some assistance in the architectural design and planning of the Ocupy Network. I really like the project and what they are trying to achieve. They have some very talented developers and a great team behind it. Together we can do great things. The partnershipWe will have a collaborative think tank that will be attended by Fibre development and Ocupy development. This partnership will only see cross collaboration on development and not marketing or promotion. They have strong skills in Front/Back end javascript development which is something we are missing. I don't need to speak about our skills we have Bobby6killers and Mammix2 a real seasoned crypto developer. Software-As-A-ServiceZeroTrust will be the official transaction privacy protocol of the Ocupy Network. Now we are not talking about implementing the ZeroTrust code into the Ocupy wallet. The Fibre blockchain will be used. When a user sends a ZeroTrust transaction on the Ocupy network it will be converted to Fibre > Sent through ZeroTrust > Converted back into Ocupy Coins > Then delivered to the recipient address. Ocupy will be developing a web based ZeroTrust interface in the ocupy.net site. This I cannot wait to see. Providing our features as a service is a direction that Fibre will be focusing on more in the future. Im sure other coins will soon be providing their services on the ocupy platform. Having the rights to all transaction privacy tech is a great achievement.

Today the Opal Team is proud to announce the release of one of our greatest features yet: Opal Drive. We have been hard at work making sure the 9k+ lines of code work as they should. We have run into a few small bugs, but we estimate a basic demo release within 2-3 days. This release will be limited to the ability of uploading files, and we are planning to start work on the transfer of files in the next few days, once we squash the bugs. We know it's been a while since we announced this project, but we are sure you will be satisfied. Thanks for your humbling support, The Opal Team. Great job! can`t wait to run demo
