i will try it tomorrow but i am not sure it will works, thanks anyway
Is it showing in the Device Manager or not?
If the GPU is listed in Device manager but the miner client (i.e Claymore) doesn't recognize then there is a driver issue which only the patch can fix it. In the Device manager you will see a Yellow warning before the RX 580 Graphic Card text.
If the GPU isn't listed in Device manger then check if the lights of the GPU are on, can you see the leds, does the fan spin when you power the motherboard?
, no its isnot shown in device manager, but leds are lighting and i am sure GPU is receiving power. i am sure i must reset or change bios, but i dont know how It does work and you need to patch the drivers if you have 6+ RX 570/580 cards in WIndows 10. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1874892.msg18857146#msg18857146i am talking about one GPU only. others are working fine, but when i am trying to use only this card, it isnot recognized by any motherboards, i already tried to use it on windows 10 and installed driver from disc, but nothing happens I would remove all the other cards and connect the card not working directly in the primary PCI-E x16 slot. Remove the drivers in safe mode using DDU and install the latest driver from the AMD website. If the card is still not detected in the Device Manager, then you probably have a dead card and will have to RMA it under warranty. If you have flashed a modded Bios to the card, it may not be replaced under warranty.

Either will have about the same hash rate after being modded. The STRIX is a better card with better cooling, possibly better VRAM and better resale value. If the price difference is not much, I would go with the STRIX card.

You can see what intensity level works best for the cards with -ethi. Default value is 7. Also you set the maximum temperatue in celcius where mining will halt with -tstop. You don't need to specify your pool and account info in the bat file if you use a config file. I use this for the .bat to start the miner: setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe You should also set a failover pool in the epools.txt file in case the main pool goes down.

Tested it just mining ethereum and get about 28. Thanks for the help with that! Still think it's strange there's. I improvemnt at all mining both..
Have tried the ubermix timing? I hv the same card and it can do 20-30. Also check any memory error with hwinfo to ensure no over memery OC I have not tried the ubermix timing. And I did try hwinfo. It came up with a ton of errors, are these from a bad over clock? If I try to start mining with hwinfo open my mining is about 7 mhs. I don't know if that means anything.. Yes, try reducing the memory clock by 25 MHz until the card doesen't show memory errors or only a few. Sometimes it's also better to increase the memory clock with a modded memory strap Bios.

What kind of favor? A less-priced card that is worn out from mining? Ah, nah, thanks. I always head for new products, so I won't lay a finger on a used GPU worn out by gaming, let alone mining.
You just don't want to buy a mining gpu right now. Why is it so hard to understand? Make a refurbished old Graphics card, and call it a 'mining GPU'? Yeah, sure, can't wait to get one of those. What Graphics cards manufacturers have shown so far doesn't intrigue me a bit, and miners will also head for gaming GPUs. Not going to happen. That would be illegal to sell used parts as new and they would get sued.

As long as there are enough system resources, HDD, CPU, RAM and PCI-E lane speed makes very little to no difference in hash rate. Almost any system will work. The biggest diffrence is how many cards you can get to work without a ton of grief. Core clock has a big effect in hash rate. Even more so for compute intensive algorithms like ZEC compared to memory dependent algorithms like ETH. Also every card has a different ASIC value from the factory which determines how well and easily the card overclocks. You can check the ASIC value with GPU-Z.
That's what I thought however there was a clear reduction of 10% hashrate So how do you reduce power draw if you cant underclock the GPU core? You can undervolt the card with the top slider in Afterburner after you enable voltage control in the settings. 1150 MHz core clock with a -98 mV undervolt and 2075 MHz on the memory clock gives me 28 - 29 MH/s on a RX 570 4GB depending on the card.

I would go with an EVGA P2 1200 W or 1000 W at minimum for the VGA's That has six PCI-E connectors, six 6+2 cables and two 6-pin pigtail cables. I would use three 8-pin splitters for the double connector cards. Use a second EVGA P2 750W for all six of the risers, motherboard and accessories. That comes with four PCI-E connectors and you can use the two pigtail cables from the 1200 W to power six 6-pin PCI-E risers. https://www.amazon.com/11-inch-PCI-Express-Female-Splitter-Sleeves/dp/B01LVZBJMLYou could also go with a single EVGA 1600 W G2 or P2. That comes with nine PCI-E connectors and five 6-pin pigtail cables.

Check Device Manager to see if all the GPU's are listed and without errors. Find out which GPU it is and try mining with that card alone after removing all the others. If the card is working, try switching risers from another card that was working.

It was almost as bad back in early 2014 during the Scrypt craze. The prices on even low end cards went up >50% and it took a while after the craze ended for them to go back to normal. Only problem is that this time it's much worse. Altcoins were relatively new back then, it was mostly geeks that were mining. Now with all the hype of ETH and record BTC prices, everybody is looking to get in to mining, evidenced by all the "I have no clue what I'm doing, but want to invest $5K threads".

thank you! and then how do you determine from afterburner which pci-e slot is associated?
The only way to be sure is to look at the GPU's and see which one has the fans stopped. The GPU index from Afterburner and Claymore often don't match.
|
|
|
I find the Claymore miner GPU indexes to be inconsistent at best. The easiest way I have found out to determine which GPU index reported by the miner corresponds to which GPU is to set the fan slider all the way down to the left in Afterburner. That will stop the fans on the card and you can see which GPU and GPU index shows the 0% fan speed in the miner. You have to do it quickly because the card will heat up fast without a fan going. The other way is to set the fan to 100% and do the same.

They are very accurate based on the most current data. The problem is nobody knows what the difficulty or price of ETH is going to be in the future. The difficulty for a coin like ETH almost always goes up rather than down. Also the profit calculators assume you are mining 24/7 with no downtime and also don't take in to account things like stale/rejected shares. So it's more of a rough estimate the longer out the timeframe.

What motherboard? Try changing the PCI-E lanes in the Bios to GEN1 or GEN2 and enable 4G decoding if you have that option. You also need to set Virtual RAM to at least 16-24 GB and AFAIK, Nvidia cards don't work with PCI-E expanders or M.2 converters.

Hello everyone, help please with the example of Claymore miner DUAL set up DWARFPOOL for two currencies Expanse and Groestcoin please !!!
You can only dual mine one Ethereum based coin and either Decred, Siacoin, Lbry or Pascal at the same time. Configuration is in the readme file.

PayPal did away with confirmed addresses years ago. As long as the payment confirmation says the transaction is eligible for seller protection, you are covered if you follow the requirements. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/brc/seller-protection-paypal-seller-benefitWhat are the requirements for Seller Protection? Initial Requirements
Ship to the address on the Transaction Details page. The item sold must be a physical, tangible item that can be shipped.
