Man count me in on this, I think I bet on almost every Arsenal game if not ML like last one, then in multibet as usual because their odds have been good, form good, everything good. I remember most of us took the Casino promo before the WC break and that worked very well for me, but totally forgot to continue checking promos. I found this one now on the Promotions page but kinda have to scroll down to see it, no wonder we all missed it Smiley
Same here, Arsenal made me some good profits so far except for the Newcastle match, and i'll probably do the same for their upcoming game against Man United.

I only saw the promo last week though and I thought you guys already knew about it so I didn't mention it here since you guys are too focused on the Australia Open.  Grin

Also, it's nice how you can stack or combine several clubhouse rewards now and then claim them in one go.
Yeah, ralle14. I noticed this too!
Reached silver 2 and they all stacked together so it was an added 0.25mbtc to my balance or even a bit more for the free sportsbet as the other option.

They have the Sportsbet Special available for the Arsenal vs Manchester city match well in advanced. Over 7.5 corners with an Arsenal win @2.70x if your into those markets.

Within just 13 hours the weigh-ins for UFC 283 will begin and can be viewed here from the official UFC channel on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfoZ3vc8yf8

According to the comments on their channel there would not be a press conference for this event.

There was a media day for it yesterday which can be viewed on their channel in several different videos.

Yeah they have been going on for the past month now and good if you like the casino games from what I remember when first checking out the prizes of the promotion when it started.

There is a good one for tomorrow's match-up with Messi with PSG and Ronaldo on his new team Saudi Arabia as posted by Steve earlier on the Sportsbet.io ANN thread:

1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: January 19, 2023, 02:13:56 AM
Twitter was an expensive deal for Musk to take over the media platform. The first set of interest payments on the loans he took to acquire twitter was from I heard $1billion to his lenders.
https://fortune.com/2023/01/18/elon-musk-twitter-sales-revenue-interest-payment-loans-debt

My guess will be him selling more stock of his other companies or possibly his holdings in bitcoin to offset the next set of interest payments in a couple of months down the road.

Cowboys was the clear winner of the matchup last night as now the Buccs are out.
They couldn't come up with any offense in the first half with Dallas being up 18-0. Second half they managed to get something together but at that point it was too late.
It was a shame for Brady as I think father time has finally caught up with him.
I was hoping their defense would step up since I had Dak to throw an INT prop in my bet builder but their defense is just as bad and can't force a turnover.  Tongue
Looking at the games next week I might go with the Jags spread if it goes up even further. The Chiefs' offense can easily put up at least 30 points but their defense won't probably stop the Jags' offense unless Trevor Lawrence throws several picks again.
Think alot of people are going to bet on the Jaguars match or include it in their acca for this weekend.
Jags quarterback doesn't seem to nervous about facing Mahomes when he gave a reporter the other day his order from the wafflehouse he was eating at with his team mates. https://twitter.com/Jaguars/status/1615438986821918726
Interesting statistic though he is 37-0 on Saturdays:
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/18/trevor-lawrence-on-37-0-saturday-record-i-dont-really-think-about-that

Lawrence threw four interceptions in the first half which probably was a record for a post season game.

This is some good news for those who watched any of the races last season as those were a testimony for what was just done.

FIA appoints Steve Nielsen as sporting director to help fix race-management issues
https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12040/12789285/formula-1-fia-appoints-steve-nielsen-as-sporting-director-to-help-fix-race-management-issues
"FIA appoints Steve Nielsen as sporting director in raft of changes to management structure; Nielsen will oversee race management after a number of issues in recent seasons, including the controversial ending to the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as Max Verstappen beat Lewis Hamilton"
"Then-F1 race director Michael Masi's failure to correctly apply the rules while the safety car was in operation allowed Max Verstappen to overtake Lewis Hamilton and beat the Briton to the world championship."

This is an important change with anybody that is an F1 fan would agree this was needed with all the controversy Masi's calls caused in 2022.

Kyrgios could be the story of this AO, his home turf plus him saying he feels he is ready for big things and that he will retire if he wins GS. I already see a lot of media coverage for him.
Well, that didn't last long Grin
Not sure if you saw it, I commented in the Tennis thread already - he had to withdraw due to knee issues.
He has a small meniscus tear, and playing like this would potentially risk a more serious and long-term injury.
Sinner remains as my favorite, hopefully we'll see some attractive odds on him as the tournament progresses.
Well that didn't last any longer either for Rafa.
Just watched the highlights from late last night and he seemed to reinjure himself in the match when he took a kneel in pain into the third set.
He was beaten in three sets which was a first for him in a long time.

A bunch of upsets early on. Had watched Andy Murray beat Berrettini during the replay after getting home and that was a surprise. Since he is much older than Matteo.
But this one was sort of sad to hear since it was to an American Mcdonald I think the same age gap.

So any other favorites to win the AO?
1930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: January 17, 2023, 10:24:07 PM
The last UFC was just closing when news broke heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou was leaving the UFC and in doing so giving up his title as well.
This was a very surprising thing to hear since the next big fight was set for him to face Jon Jones but with the unveiling of the banner with him fighting somebody else for 285 event the interviewer of MMAfighting Ariel Helwani confirmed on his podcast.

"Reacts to Francis Ngannou's UFC Departure, Dana White's Claims | The MMA Hour"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uizQbrVR2NQ
He then goes on to get an interview with Ngannou on the situation from his point of view released today:
https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/1/17/23558175/the-mma-hour-special-tuesday-edition-with-francis-ngannou

President of the UFC Dana White had also confirmed earlier then that Ngannou rejected the contract they offered to pay him making him the highest paid fighter in the UFC:

Too bad about Kyrgios. He was battling with injuries from last season.
Atleast Nadal won is first match on Sunday and the free bet was credited early Monday.
He looked good as it ended 3-1 so you know his stomach injury hadn't impaired his performance thus far into the tournament.
If he goes into 5th sets, then I can see it being a problem for him to recover in time for his next match.

Jaguars managed to pull off a major upset at the very last few minutes of the game with a come behind win against the Chargers.
They were down 27-0 when their odds were inflated 12.50x at one point. And yes, some who were on a sportschat I was watching showed their betslips with these odds they did catch near the end of second quarter.
Think they outscored them 21-3 in the second half which was unbelievable and then the last second field goal to win the game.
Trevor Lawrence was the man of the game.

Now we have Buffalo outscoring Miami by 10 points and the game is nearly done for the first game of the Sunday evening set of matches.
There are two more games to go, so you can still grab them while they are available here:

I wouldn't say that it's in Đoković's pocket. I do feel he is a favorite, but this is the first GS in a long long time where I see a possibility of someone outside of the top 10 claiming it.

Nadal is injured, Đoković isn't on the same level and he is starting to get under pressure more often, Alcaraz is out, Medvedev is.. well, Medvedev.
Sinner and Kyrgios are the players I'll try to bet on.

I guess we all fell for Nadal simply because of the promo, if that's the case then well done to Sportsbet lol

On the other hand, I agree that there is no clear contender, Djokovic appears an easy win but I feel like there is more to come, drama and what not, mostly I guess his own making, and we will see someone outside the top winning.

I just hope I get 3 freebets at least Wink
This is what I agree on it was a bet I had placed simply for the promo to receive the free bets, and of course the high odds which after boosted comes out to 15.98x which if it does win at the end is just an added bonus on the long road to victory for Nadal.
And yeah, I would of rather put my mbtc on Kyrgios from the way he played at his tournaments last year and on home country grounds.
So we will see how it all plays out.

EPL matches are a mixed bag with the promotion for the daily special wanting a Chelsea and Newcastle win:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/matches/today

I went with Crystal Palace winning and a draw happening in one of the matches.
1936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: January 14, 2023, 11:18:33 PM
The first match should be an expected win for the 49ers as their defense will be more than enough to hold off the Seahawks offense and give enough room for their offense to control the game. I'll go with a small play on the -9.5 handicap since i've been having issues when it comes to teams covering several points.

I agree the Jags vs Chargers game will be very close as both teams have solid offense so the over might be the best play or team totals(only available once the game is live).
Seattle really surprising the 49ers in the first half leading by 1 point.
As soon when the clouds parted and the sun came out then the seahawks started playing better than they did in the first quarter as it was looking like a steamrolling of them early.
They have just been able to get mostly field goals but now are starting strong in the second half, so hopefully they will continue to do so for the rest of the game.
This one will be a high scoring one for sure.
The Jaguars and the Chargers will probably be the opposite where if their offense aren't clicking early on with atleast a big score in the first quarter than that will pretty much show what the rest of the game will be.

Good luck with your predictions!
1937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: January 14, 2023, 05:54:07 PM
Two match-ups in the NFL today starting with the San Francisco 49ers up against Seattle Seahawks.
I watched the seahawks last game and they are a very good team but the 49ers are on another level with their offense.
So it is a tough one to figure out who will win but of course the 49ers are the favorites playing at home.

The last match-up are the red hot Jacksonville Jaguars vs Los Angeles Chargers.
Liked Jags in this one but something tells me Justin Hebert will make it tough for Trevor Lawrence in this battle for a wild card spot.

I heard there was a team that was playing PSG-LGD but were caught cheating using some sort of hack.
Was their team disciplined for this action. A suspension or an outright ban from competition for an extended amount of time?
In professional play this shouldn't be accepted behavior in anyway or other teams might try to do the same if they see no repercussions.
Yup, it was Team Knights that were caught cheating.

No disciplinary action was made so far since there's no confirmation but if the evidence they gave to Valve is more than enough then they're likely out.

I doubt other players that are currently playing in the DPC would be willing to do it though since getting that small edge isn't worth it when they could lose it all. And at least Valve has to do something against it since cheats have been around for quite a while.
I've read that it was an official cheat and Perfect World has also sent the accusation to Valve for which the action will be heavier and taken more seriously.
They're never scared of the sanction and it will cost them their entire career. I can remember the Malaysian team(arrow gaming) and players that have been involved in a match-fixing. They were very promising during that time but ended up too soon when they got involved in the issue and now, they can just join those mini tournaments that are not managed by Valve and other big organizers.
That is some serious stuff. Thank you @ralle14 & passwordnow for the info on this news on the DOTA2 match fixing accusation on team knights.
Just hope all who bet on PSG-LGD got their betslips refunded or void from their accas.

I like those odds @slaman29 and think I will pull the trigger on placing a bet now after waiting for over a week to do it.
So 2.5mbtc is worth $50usdt right now? I guess it is due to the recent jump up in price at $21k in the past 24 hours.
Will be placing my bet at over 12x odds on Nadal now before everybody does and it drives the price down to 11x again.
Thanks for the betting advice!
