firstly Messi and Neymar for me did not really affect PSG performance last season and I only see the contribution of Mbappe who has fostered stability in the attack line that is able to bring PSG to the top of the standings and to this day Mbappe is still making a good contribution at PSG. regarding how PSG will end at the end of the season, no one knows for sure because there are always surprises that happen and what I know right now is that PSG is still inconsistent and stability of the players is still uncertain that they will be strong for several matches. we can consider PSG to be stable and get a league 1 title like last season when getting 5 consecutive wins it is certain if PSG is able to reach the top of standings this season.
Mbappe has won quite a quality player but he also needs a tandem who can support him to be able to give a good performance, last season Messi and Neymar also made a huge impact in my opinion for PSG's front line and also really helped Mbappe in developing his performance. And this season there are Asensio and also Dembele who have filled the void after being left by Messi and Neymar, in last week's game the two players did quite well up front to accompany Mbappe. However, currently the chaos between Mbappe and the PSG management is not over, I think this will have quite an effect on the team's performance if Mbappe is not around. and from the start of this season we have seen difficulties in the PSG team so I think it is possible for other teams to compete fiercely in the race for the championship this season, even though PSG are still very much in the favourites. |
