1921  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you entered your wallet and you found 50BTC what you will do ? on: August 29, 2015, 04:46:41 AM
First i will wait for someone posting a thread or two of sending bitcoins to a wrong address.
Then i will pm that person and ask him to sign a message from the wallet from which he send those bitcoins to me.
And if he is unable to do so, then i'll consider all those coins mine only, and will try to fulfill my wildest dreams.
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the next big thing? on: August 29, 2015, 04:40:00 AM
I don't think that bitcoin is going to die sooner or later.
So for me there are no other alternatives of bitcoin in crypto world.
No matter what, always original will remain original.
1923  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: bitcoin scam faucets and websites on: August 29, 2015, 04:37:46 AM
Um, you do know faucets give coins away for free right? So how could this be a scam? There are any number of reasons the faucet may not pay you, but this does not fit into the scam category. You are out nothing if the faucet does not pay, so you cannot be scammed.
Yes we are out of time.
Also faucets run by revenues from advertisements so if we go to a faucet and use it then it's our right to get paid by them.
So faucets can also scam people, in my opinion.
1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin makes revolution on money transfer market ? on: August 29, 2015, 04:20:50 AM
Yes it have already revolutionised the money transfer market.
Now a days neteller is also accepting payments/deposits in bitcoins.
1925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: August 29, 2015, 04:08:41 AM
Yes, I am not that much lucky.
I deposited into bustabit around 0.025btc and lost and after it I deposited 0.05btc and won and made a profit of 10k bits, then I left it on autobet for all night and in morning I saw that I am in a loss of around 44k bits. So greed also kills people.
It's very risky when you play on bustabit, don't leave your bitcoin and play with the bot if you only have a small balance Wink
and also with your bot setting.
lol, i was using a custom scrypt.
But it was set to be safe upto 4 busts in a row under 1.35.
But they gave less than 1.1 four times in a row and i was left with nothing.
And if i will play now then i will deposit atleast 100k bits, and will set the scrypt to be safe for upto 8 busts in a row.
1926  Economy / Speculation / Re: I really hope that price will stay in current range for years on: August 28, 2015, 05:15:06 PM
No, it isn't possible.
Bitcoin block halving is near, so miners will be selling their bitcoins in a high price and the price will tend to increase.
1927  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 28, 2015, 05:11:10 PM
No, don't think so.
If prices of Bitcoin remain fluctuating like the current dump, then Bitcoin will never be able to replace the usd ever.
So in order to replace the usd the bitcoin should have to be stable in volume and should also have wide acceptance.
1928  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoins has a great future in India? on: August 28, 2015, 05:03:24 PM
I'm also from India.
So far no success in bringing people to Bitcoin. Nut I've brought one friend to bitcointalk.
Here majority of people work in offices from morning till evening or run their own shops, so no time for anything else.
1929  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: August 28, 2015, 04:59:36 PM
According to my opinion, it also depends upon the scenario at that time.
If Bitcoin will be about to die then I'll sell all my bitcoins.
1930  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate womens to use Bitcoin? on: August 28, 2015, 04:52:18 PM
Just give them some Bitcoins and tell them,  they can buy jewellery and stuff with bitcoins and also tell them how to do transactions.

So far no success, I've tried this with my girlfriend and sister too.
1931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your first bitcoins came from.. (faucets aside) on: August 28, 2015, 04:34:51 PM
faucet
It is written in the OP that faucets aside.
So I think that your answer doesn't count.
1932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: August 28, 2015, 04:33:11 PM
Gambled with around 5 BTC, and overall came out about even.  I like to take some risks, but some times the luck just isn't on my side!

you are lucky to get even Smiley
Yes, I am not that much lucky.

1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: August 28, 2015, 04:23:28 PM
right now im doing martingale for 10x payout..

and it still running, almost 300k roll...so i will wait how long does this martingale can hold..

damn good luck mate how much are you at at the moment ? the longer you go the larger the chances of busting tho Tongue

I'm sure he has very big bankroll & start with small base bet Roll Eyes
Maybe he also keep changing his client seed & tricks too

I hope he stop before he lose everything
Yes, if he started with 1 bits and is now betting over 3000, then he is gonna loose his money just for a 1 bit profit.
1934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 28, 2015, 04:21:34 PM
IDK how I should put this, as wrecked or profited. I gambled 0.28 btc my way up to 2.5btc then I lost it , down to 0.3 btc(I had withdrawn it before). So I guess I would say I profited.
Yes it is a profit for you.
No matter what, profit is a profit.
I play only virtual betting like there is a website called indiabet which give you daily virtual money to bet on sports and casino.
Note; I'm not affiliated to them.
1935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: August 27, 2015, 02:05:23 PM
For me, yes especially if xt will gone forever and the government will adopt the crypto currency.
There is no kyc/aml regulations in creating cryptocurrency wallet addresses, so there is no way for government to track which address is of whom.
So i don't think that they will adopt bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency that much easily.
1936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: August 27, 2015, 01:50:55 PM
Holding BTC a long time to make money is not good idea, better try to buy some altcoins at low price and then sale them at higher price, and change back to BTC  Grin
But altcoins also burns our money very easily.
According to me buying altcoins is like gambling with bitcoins, which i don't prefer because at the end in gambling only the house wins.
Trading needs research before going into it, it is not that simple that buy low and sell high.
1937  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: newbie question about solo mining on: August 27, 2015, 01:20:58 PM
can you please explain me how are you going to do your solo mining, as i also wanted to try

I have a Core2duo 2gb ram 500gb hdd / intel motherboard with in built graphics, will be sufficient to mine and how can i do this

please help me with this detail.

No, it won't be sufficient to mine....
There is a very very very very very small chance you'll hit a block, but it's almost not existent...

If you do want to solo mine, i guess your best chance would be to use a solo mining pool like this one: https://solo.nicehash.com/
It will save you the hassle of running a node, setting up bfgminer, cpuminer,.... (you'll still have to setup this software, but usually the pool has an easy how-to made for you)

But for this should i have to buy a Graphics card to mine in bfgminer, cgminer or what ever software, the system which i am using dont have graphics card . I have tried to setup the cgminer software but it is searching gpu but i want to try with cpu.

I just want to experiece what will happen if i setup cpu minning.
Yes you can do cpu mining, but the hashing speed will be very less. There is a software called cpuminer and search on youtube on how to setup cpuminer and those videos can guide you better.

Very good point...

But just to elaborate... I do not recommand using a CPU OR a graphics card to mine bitcoin!!!

A long time ago, people started to produce ASIC's . These are basically, small devices made for the sole purpose of hashing one specific kind of algorithm... These devices can deliver extremely high hashing speeds for extremely low power usage. They exist for sha-256 (bitcoin, namecoin,...) and scrypt (litecoin, doge,...).
You CAN NOT compete against these ASIC's with your CPU or your graphics card... Period...

The only way to actually have a chance in mining a block, is buying an ASIC... If you buy a small ASIC (like an antminer U3), chances are still almost not existent you hit a block... If you join a pool, payouts will still be low, but at least you'll have something to show for your efforts...

IF you buy an asic, i strongly suggest reading up on the technology, rewards and odds... There is a very big calculation you have to make, including power costs, risks, investments, ROI,...
And up all lies luck.
Even if you mine with best asic on web then also there are very less chances that you hit a block.
And with reward halving in july,2016 i don't think that any new miner will come into mining.
Then i think people start using the solar energy, in my country(India) there is availability of around 10 to 11 hours of sunlight a day. But still in buying solar panels and batteries it will cost too much and with no assurity of return over investment.

1939  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL or BUY ? on: August 25, 2015, 03:10:35 PM
I will buy some Bitcoins and will see the waves coming and going.
After this dump, many people will loose money and also some will gain money.
But I have filled my pockets upto a limit that I can afford and still if Bitcoin prices will go further down then I will have no regrets.
1940  Economy / Economics / Re: A good day to buy hard? on: August 25, 2015, 03:06:56 PM
If I will buy hard now then there are a lot of chances that I will also die hard.  Grin
Don't you think that at this point buy only that much that you can afford to loose and see the market.
