We are bouncing back boys

Almost back to that promised 20 cent wall, congratulations.

Why would anyone trust a guy/company that can't even keep control of his own website?

That's why I feel little sympathy for people stuck in these messes for so long. People can argue back and forth whether things suck due to incompetence/fraud/theft/whatever, but all of those things end with the same result, you losing your coins, why stick around?
1923  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 13, 2015, 11:23:50 PM
Did he post those "strictly confidential" emails before coinfire did?
1924  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 13, 2015, 07:50:35 PM
April 10th has passed and no compensation vouchers for hashlets. Homero doesn't even care to explain anything also. It is like anything that he says is a lie by default and he doesn't even care to explain when does not deliver as always. Maybe he even forgot what he lied a month ago, because the amount of new lies... Grin

He has like 10 other lies and stories to work through before he gets back to dealing with that one.
1925  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 11, 2015, 01:18:36 PM
email leaks contained invoices of few different law firms

Quote
if we can calm this, I can get our lawyers to call her cell (SEC) and maybe put things in holding

Mr Garza is talking about Gretchen Lundgren (Counsel at U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission)
https://www.linkedin.com/pub/gretchen-lundgren/7/90b/746

Smiley

interesting that hes saying Matt took PC's :O

Don't be too worried about the legal teams because of the few different law firms thing. Why would a guy who has a history of not paying his bills have to contact so many law firms? Who is going to do any actual lawyering without getting money from a guy with a history of not paying bills?

He can talk to them all he wants, and threaten people all he wants, but nothing will happen because it won't get him any money. The people he's threatening to sue don't have any money for Josh to take because he already robbed them, so there's no real point in him spending money on lawyers.

Also, what's the point in "stealing" a private key if you don't actually move the coins? There are only so many prime controllers, and if you "steal" the coins from them you lose the staking, so what's the point? Do people really think Josh doesn't have copies of all these keys tucked away somewhere anyway?
1926  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 11, 2015, 05:54:09 AM
Serious question: Is there anybody who is able to explain what the plan was with XPY? I mean... money-printing, yes. But how could this ever have turned out well for anyone? Maybe some traders made some profit, but it seems nearly everybody who touched it regrets it - inclusive the founders.

So... what was the plan if it would have worked? How to get out without legal consequences?

Same as the plan to mine Bitcoin and not pay the power bill. This is how Mr.Garza does business.

That is also an interesting point. I mean... if he would have made great profit out of XPY this bill shouldn't be a problem. I don't understand this whole XPY-story. It's very entertaining and like a course in "collective psychology" but I would like to find any rationality. But every detail seems irrational...

Right, but the power bill should have been paid from the maintenance fees collected from Hashlet customers. So that money was squandered elsewhere. Fail at basic business concepts.

Same thing with XPY. Total and utter fail at basic economic and financial concepts. You can't produce wealth by just wishing for it and a pyramid scheme can only get you so far. There is nothing rational about it, that's pretty much the point. A rational person doesn't talk to imaginary lawyers.

It was squandered into Josh's pockets. That has been the entire point of everything. Take money from rubes, give it to Josh. If talking to imaginary lawyers, buying websites or making new coins will convince rubes to give you money, you do it.
1927  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does it make any sense to cloudmine on: April 11, 2015, 02:00:21 AM
All the reasons someone would legitimately offer you cloud mining are reasons that you shouldn't do it.

What do you mean that you "don't want to buy actual coins?" That's what mining is, you are buying a machine/hashpower that will generate coins. They are the same thing. You can get the coins directly, or get the coins spread out over time, either way you are buying coins.
1928  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 10, 2015, 03:01:20 PM
Wow I can't believe how many fools there are.

I can, there are a lot of people who were sucked in to the tune of thousands of dollars because of the way he promoted his scam... so, now they're sitting at about a 95% loss and kind of have no choice but to hope that SOME DAY the price will match what they originally bought in for. So, their choice is to either admit that they were royally duped or to continue to 'believe' because if they believe long enough, then something good will happen.... GAW said so.

Those people are still fools. The math on this never made sense. There was never any logic. "cloud miners" that don't exist, people paying $4 or less for a coin will somehow provide a $20 floor, never an explanation for what GAW/coinstand/anyone will do with the coins they paid $20 to get.

All greedy people sucked in by promises of "free money" that could never withstand any sort of criticism or thought. If they held on this long, after this many warnings, they are even dumber. there could be some sympathy for people who thought they were mining bitcoins months ago, but even taht never made sense, and if they've held on this long they deserve to lose it all.
1929  Economy / Gambling / Re: Martingale isn't that bad on: April 10, 2015, 12:54:11 PM
Martingale makes it easier to win a small amount, but it also makes it easier to lose a big amount than a flat betting strategy, and that is where the problem lies.

Here is a math problem to find out why martingale isn't the best idea. Whatever game you are playing, what are the odds of winning 10 games in a row, and what are the odds of losing 10 games in a row? Very close, if not the same. How much do you win when you win 10 in a row and how much do you lose when you lose 10 in a row? Big difference, and the problem.

The reality is that it's just not worth it in the long run, that big losing streak will come, and it will wipe out of all of your previous winnings and then some.
1930  Economy / Gambling / Re: Post here if you don't understand some part of gambling and I'll answer on: April 10, 2015, 04:35:37 AM
How exactly do you deal with Donks which I mostly see in on-line poker rooms and they just don't care what hand they have and go all-in every time.

I usually wait for a hand which statistically have higher probability of winning but it doesn't works every time.

This is also my question, nowadays I have very bad luck, always bad beat by other donk calls and all-ins.

My examples:
1. once I played in betcoin, I was allin with pocket Q, the other one called with 5Jo, and he got three of Jacks, he had good luck although he is a donk call with 5Jo against my QQ.

2. there is a famous all-in guys named kevin235r, he is always all-in with every hand in freerolls in every poker house. He usually beat us with 27o against our A+X or pocket pair

So I have to play tightly when in freeroll unless I am in final cash table. A few minutes ago I had a very good hands, I was all-in with AKs, but bad beat by 45o donk call. I have nothing to complain because luck is one part of poker.  Angry Sad Sad Cry

qq is going to beat j5 86% of the time, that leaves 14% of the time for you to lose. You also need to take stack sizes into account. At the final table if someone has 50 big blinds and you have 4, they probably don't care what their cards are, they aren't risking that much and the reward for knocking you out is worth the risk.
1931  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Known scammer Josh Garza of GAWMiners launched a Bitcoin exchange - Mineral" on: April 09, 2015, 04:07:51 PM
I am just wondering what will happen to the remaining hashlets - there should be a solution this Friday night in a form of compensation voucher. Read some rumors on hashtalk it could be for hashnest, that would be very nice, but I doubt it. Some shit for another ponzi cloudmining would be more in line with how gaw does business Cheesy

Was that supposed to be resolved tomorrow? Could explain why the earth is starting to get scorched today.

April 10 was the deadline for Hashlet compensation:

http://blog.paybase.com/hashlet-eol-announcement/

I would go on a limb here and guess that it's not going to happen.

That makes sense, might as well start this drama/get out today before it starts tomorrow with that disappointment. I'm surprised there wasn't another scheme to prolong things, like every other time a deadline has come up. Maybe the "foundation" really got sick of it and they decided to start the brushfire?
1932  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 09, 2015, 03:32:53 PM
A coin that only has any value because of one person's lies about how much it will be worth will definitely become super successful once he dumps all his coins and stops lying.

Even if he dumps his known holdings the entire thing is still tainted. His hard-coded "prime controllers" do literally nothing, take out the hybrid flexing and what do you have? PeerCoin.

So the totally unrelated Coinstand (website operated by Phil Vadala, right?) was relying on Mr. Garza's funding and/or his Prime Controller staking. Which is ludicrous in its own right, to fund a discount with inflation.

The CoinStand discount would have been paid for entirely by inflation anyway so, not really a discount at all for the people using it. I did wonder where that money was coming from, it obviously wasn't going to be his pockets or the "coin adoption fund".

My first one was sarcasm.

All the money that "funded" anything (the very little of it that was actually spent) came from the fact that GAW got so many coins for free via the premine and hyperinflation of their wallets. It's one thing for someone who bought coins on the market, or "mined hashpoints" to sell a paycoin for a quarter, it's something else entirely for people who created them out of thin air. They spent some of their free money to buy products at 20 per coin to give them a little more life to dump the rest of their invented coins.

This cmillian guy is right.

The pending fall-out is going to be epic! Homero buys this shit named non-crypto website for 75,000 USD him and Phlop conspire to hide the origins of the owner. That gets exposed, Homero cedes legal ownership but obviously has his little lawyer construct a stack of documents about this rental or loan or whatever childish arrangement they have made. Once being exposed Phlop insists they part ways other wise it will never work. Phlop comes here and insists till he is blue in the face Garbozo has nothing to do with anything mineral at all.

Not asking to be left alone if harassing or what not, but simply discussing that someone messed up, has led to bans on Hash Talk, so want to make sure that isn't going to happen here.

 Look forward to this forum!

This is not Garza paradise, this is Mineral official announcement. I think this is enough proof that Garza does not own the Mineral brand,

Yet Homero being the pathetic attention whoring little bitch that he is, sticks his coke riddled nose into it all, to ensure everyone knows it is him behind it and that all should still bow down to him no matter what. Bans questioning me are coming he says:

So we have Phlop swearing Garbozo has nothing to do with the place whatsoever, and we Homero flitting around asserting his authority since he bought the piece of shit name and was forced to hand it over. Same thing happend with that self-proclaimed thing 'paycoin foundation' and as well as 'jonah'.

Homero cannot be ignored, once a rocks star early on he remains drunk on seeking the adoration he received from earlier on, even if he has to become a lounge lizard in a 12 person smoky bar. He absolutely needs to hear some one even if one, clapping for him and that is where he ensures to remain to be.

Homero ClusterFuck Garza.

The single biggest business failure in the digital age ever.  He is so fucking dumb he is even fine with that, good or bad this inbred unwanted dunce is being seen.

nota bene:

all seems like so long ago

How is Garza even paying for these domains? Didn't he already fail to continue the monthly payments on btc.com?

Spend a little cash to extend the life of the coin so he can dump all of his. That's been the game plan for a while now, why stop now?
1936  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 07, 2015, 04:01:23 PM
he accidentally sold miners that didn't exist, and lied about partnerships with amazon, target, and walmart, who hasn't done that?

Let he who hasn't sold fake miners throw the first stone.
1937  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 06, 2015, 04:04:08 PM
The pure idiocy involved in stating that you are going to increase your inventory by accepting $.42 XPY for $1 wins this effing moron the hammerhead award.

Meta: I was having a conversation this weekend with someone, and we came up with a conundrum of "Is society really trending towards an idiocracy, or is it that society over history has always had this degree of idiocracy, but the internet has given them the ultimate communication tool/outlet, so we're just seeing more of it ?"

edit: a word

The internet helps bring like minded people together. That has good results and bad results. Researchers from across the world can talk in real time to help accomplish shit, and idiots can gather to spread their nonsense and get scammed.

The internet also make it a lot easier to get burned. It doesn't create the scams, Ponzi ponzi'd without the internet, and people were selling the brooklyn bridge without it, but it definitely makes it easier. People see amazon work, so othersbuy stuff from coinstand. People made money on bitcoin, so others will blow money on paycoin.
1938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 06, 2015, 02:27:17 PM
Of course, it occurs to me that Homero's reply is actually referring to the claim in the OP saying there would be a "Seized by . . ." page in place as a result of being under investigation by the SEC and DoJ.

So, hey, he's telling the truth this time! Trouble is, he is doing so only by wording it in such a way as his flock think he's talking about the CCN article contents.

Paybase.com is owned by a guy named Walter Long... if they consider him a by-stander or he's assisting the investigation, there's no reason to take the domain name anyway. They're investigating Josh Garza and GAW Miners, LLC... so paybase.com is really a side-issue. You're more likely to see ZenMiner.com (owned by Chris Levato of Utah) go down, since that's where the majority of the activity happened. But, even then... allowing people to buy a fake product and making fake payouts with fake money isn't exactly like enabling drug sales where REAL drugs are transferred between REAL people (often in different countries). Since both sites are kind of off line now anyway (so paybase can't work to 'fix' the markets)... there's no reason to do anything but take ghosted copies of the servers for evidence and analysis.

But, speaking of winners out of all of this... the owner of BTC.com stands to potentially be a big winner. He's been getting $25k/mo against the domain that's in escrow until paid off. If they quit paying the escrow, that domain will go back to the owner and he'll have gotten a pretty nice rental out of the domain name for how ever long garza had control of it. (of course, that's assuming one of garza's whales don't take over the escrow payments)

I guess I don't really know the answer, but I thought he didn't pay the $1million?  I posted here and this guy claims his sources are impeccable.  Maybe someone can help me answer his question or contact his source?

"Raymond Hackney says

April 5, 2015 at 6:52 pm

Where was it proven ? The broker Michael Robertson is of the highest integrity in this business and he said the domain was sold at the purchase price."

http://www.thedomains.com/2014/08/09/quick-chat-with-josh-garza-the-man-who-bought-btc-com-for-1million/#comments

There are emails in the dump about being late on payments to the escrow. the "purchase price" was 1 million, but there is a payment plan and they were already very late on 1 payment. Hope the escrow is legit and the guy can get the site back when Josh ultimately stops paying.
1939  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to win 1 million dollars with only 10$? on: April 05, 2015, 02:12:36 PM
All those odds still suck.

At least with the regular martingale your bankroll slowly goes up (until you hit the big losing streak and lose it all). With this, if you start with 10 you only have 10 chances.

There is no way to combine -ev bets to be +ev.
1940  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you do if you lost this?!! on: April 04, 2015, 10:04:59 PM
Make sure you learn how to hedge your bets before the next time you do something like that.
