Freedom of spending money is what the principle of Bitcoin according to me :-) Everybody knows it is decentralized currency and no one has control over it which gives us freedom of spending it the way want in terms of its volume, time and anonymous nature. The fees are less and it takes fraction of time to process. No documents required, no signatures and physical identification as would be the case with real banks! This is what for Bitcoins are made and being adopted by many of us.  Wink

A highly regurgitated comment you have there. What do you think of fiat? Isnt that spent freely in your area? Do the police need to check your ID before you can buy something?

You said that the fees are less and it takes fraction of time to process. Really? Try buying something with BTC and see how the fraction of time youre talking about is around an hour more.

Is BTC really being adopted by you, or being hoarded by you? Pick one.
1922  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Need help to receive confirmation link in my email on: March 10, 2017, 11:29:18 AM
Are you using openmailbox.org? Sometimes that email provider does not recieve emails for a few hours. What I did was user my seed words and reset my whole wallet complete with a new email.

Is there a way to disable email confirmation from blockchain.info?
1923  Economy / Economics / Re: Finanacial System on: March 10, 2017, 11:23:44 AM
I would say that bitcoin pose no real danger to the financial system. In my opinion the bitcoin as the alternative to the financial system just gives the idea about how many people are discontented with the fiat status quo. Ofcourse showing discontency is in itself destabilising for the system that is based on the faith - fiat.

There is a small additional threat to the fiat financial system. There is a disconnection of real money (of bitcoiners) from the system, that before the existance of bitcoin had provided the liquidity on the markets. That can pose additional destabilisation to the system that need to print more fake money to compensate for the loss of liquidity of money leaving the system.

You can say that bitcoin provides more destabilization to already very unstable system. The system is meant to fall. Every expert on the subject is completly amazed how long does this unstable fiat financial system works. It should have failed a long time ago.

I dont think BTC can pose a threat to destabilize the present system. But what BTC can do is provide a channel for the darknet to move value and makw payments without needing the financial system. That is far from destabilization. It is more like enablement of the underserved.
1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins is now same as paypal(and worst) on: March 10, 2017, 10:12:50 AM
Bitcoin its just a payment processor nothing else, you able to send fast trasactions with a huge fee.

This is one of the most stupid comments I have ever read here in Bitcointalk. It would be better for you to stop making comments because saying it is a payment processor and nothing else is the least of what Bitcoin is.

Read more and research about Bitcoin, proof of work and the politics in development or get out.
1925  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Prepaid Virtual Credit Cards on: March 09, 2017, 07:59:27 AM
Neteller is also a good payment processor that offer a virtual debit card. You can also order a physical plastic card for a fee if you want. Neteller is also accepted by more merchants than any service mentioned in this thread, I think. And in case you didnt know Neteller also owns Skrill, formerly known as Moneybookers.
1926  Economy / Economics / Re: Finanacial System on: March 09, 2017, 07:29:32 AM
Theres no real threat for now. But in the future, thats a big maybe. For BTC and other cryptocurrencies to be a threat to the current financial system, there has to be a critical tipping point. This tipping point will be when users of cryptocurrencies have reached a massive amount of users that it cant be stopped. What I mean by users is real users who also set up nodes and users who use the coins for buying things they need and want, not users who buy BTC and hold like most of us.
1927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if IMF & World bank create ON WORLD Currency? on: March 09, 2017, 07:17:47 AM
IMF & Worldbank wont make a one world currency par-say.

they have/will however control, secure, be the transport conduit, and the auditor of all the future FIAT currencies that get into using blockchains.
much like merging SWIFT, RTGS and other international wire transfer protocols into one

hyperledger allows subchains(sidechains/altcoins) that are all in the end audited by the hyperledger.
hyperledger itself wont have a 'coin' but will have a ledger to list and secure the audits of the other FIAT chains that join to the hyperledger network.

IMF, worldbank and BIS wont make money just having a "one world currency". they make money on the trades (forex swaps) between the different currencies and the demand/ supply of different currencies.

so there wont be a "one world currency" but there could/would be a one world network

Is the Hyperledger centralized? I dont think the banks will use something that they dont have some control over. Although credit card transactions that are recorded on Hyperledger would be a God send to them. A cashless society that is well very controlled solely by the bankers.

hyperledger is a multichain ledger. its only going to be used behind the scenes by those authorised to use it. but becomes unhackable because the data of hyperledgers main chain is distributed aswell as each chain is distributed. .but because only certain people have direct access its not 'openly public'

I have done some browsing about Hyperledger and came across on a write up about R3 giving up and stopping blockchain development. I want one thing clarified. Is R3 somehow connected with the Hyperledger project?
1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins is now same as paypal(and worst) on: March 09, 2017, 07:09:46 AM
Well, we have now to send transactions with a fee $1-$10 otherwise the transaction will never get confirmed

Just telling you, don't waste your time posting a thread on tech problems section

Even now transactions with less than 0.01 BTC will never get confirmed(or it will take longer)

You delvs didn't trough this could happend if the bitcoins went up the market?

Yeah, but good thing that I cashed out my bitcoins earlier haha.

Like I always said in this forum, If there is a lot of uncomnfirmed transaction that is because most them did transact with low charge of fee, and as far as I know majority of who gave high fee transaction is the one get confirmed immediately.
Currently on blockchain.info there are 47k unconfirmed transactions, with a total size of 58MB and total fees of 18.3BTC. That's an average of   0.00038270 BTC/0.45$ per tx, or an average of 31sats/byte. Not really that low IMO  Tongue

Better get used to it because someone and some groups out there are loving the situation. The situation will worsen and the fees will only get higher and higher in the coming years.
1929  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best exchanger for fiat currency on: March 08, 2017, 10:44:31 AM
Use localbitcoins.com if you want to trade in a safe envronment without any complications. Make sure to check the reputation of the guy/girl youre trading with. If youre ok with uploading your personal docs to verify your identity with them, now you can. It gives you more choices and access on verified traders.

FUD. Bitcoin will never be like Paypal. Yes, good thing you cashed out your .15644 Bitcoins earlier. Bitcoin will be better without people like you in it. Good luck to you and the people who think like you and dont come back.

How long has the cloud mining service been operational and how long have you been using it? I want firsthand experience not some bs blog with a calculator done by a guy who probably is an affiliate of different cloud mining services.
Personally i don't believe that cloud mining could be profitable because mining difficulty will keep rising and your contract will stuck with same hardware you have bought a year ago. More effective mining hardware are coming up too often which will make mining with old hardware non-profitable.

I know your post has been repeated too many times in the forum but it has to be stressed well enough to the noobs that cloudmining is already exposed as a form of ponzi scheme. The reason why there are lots of cloudmining sites popping up is because there are gullible people still buying those contracts.

ViaBTC also started cloud mining service. Their ROI is the best among all cloud mining companies. Read more cloud mining reviews and compare cloud mining payouts on Allcloudminers. The blog has the latest calculations.

1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if IMF & World bank create ON WORLD Currency? on: March 07, 2017, 07:13:49 AM
But we already do have a new world order currency issued by the banks themselves. Theyre called credit cards. You can use it all over the world, its totally controlled by them, and the minute you use it its nothing but numbers in their system not backed by anything.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIT.AC :: MULTICURRENCY WALLET :: BUILT-IN INSTANT EXCHANGE :: Affiliate Program on: March 07, 2017, 07:09:22 AM
Can anyone tell me how good is the android wallet, I wanna try it as my secondary wallet but I see so many bad reviews on playstore. Those reviews makes me a bit worry but I dont know whether those reviews are valid or not, hope for some trusted member here to give review of the android wallet.

for any wallet out there you should always give it a try yourself, don't trust the reviews that much specially when there aren't that many of them.
you can install the wallet, play around a bit. find the pros and cons and decide if you want to stick to it or not. and besides as you can see from the reply of bitac they are working on it and you can always ask the developers to improve or add features that you want. all the wallets out there started like this and after a long time they became better with feedback they got.

perfectly right since reviews can be bought anywhere nor here as we can see there are people's who buying reviews on service section and exchange for only few satoshi. so to find out for ourselves might truly better if we just seek and try for ourselves so that we can review if this wallet is good or not. and as i am past user of this wallet well i can say that i don't see any issue and the good with it is they have other coins listed on their wallet.

Negative reviews can be bought? Who would make an effort to do something like that to a small service like Bit.ac?

And dont the two of you read? The developer of Bit.ac has already responded and has apologized for their Android wallet. Its true that there are stability issues and those reviews are unquestionably not bought.
1936  Economy / Economics / Re: A little perspective: $198 to $1139 then and $198 to $1139 now on: March 07, 2017, 07:00:01 AM

As you can see, this is natural sustainable growth, we are not in bubble territory. If we started a 2013 type of uprise, the price would be at $10000+ with that steep angle, which means, anything is possible and we have not started the FOMO yet.

Do whatever it takes as long as it makes you feel safe and happy for buying at the recent highs my amigo. Wink

But if the price comes crashing down back to $198 from $1139 you would surely be in for a new perspective. Im not saying it will crash to those lows. The point is the other perspective it will bring if it does.
1937  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BlockChain.info Not Here on: March 07, 2017, 06:53:02 AM
Provably because blockchain isn't really on top or a kind of wallet which people will recommend nowadays. They don't even have an option to recover a lost password of a wallet so it really isn't safe to use.

Before you talk maybe you should first do a little reading about the service so that you wont look ignorant. In what you wrote, you are wrong in both your sentences. Blockchain.info remains to be the top webwallet for BTC and the most recommended one at that.

Heres the funny part of your post that shows you are so oblivious and have not bothered to see the wallet.

1938  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Earn 0.003btc daily on: March 06, 2017, 07:36:24 AM
It's hard to earn with this amount on captcha. I did this last year and I can say that even $1 value of bitcoin now is hard to there. And why not try to post the site here mate so that we don't need to pm you and everything will be transparent and can been by other interested people on what is this site that you are earning this amount.

There has to be a scam here somewhere. Hints, the poster is a newbie, he has been given a red mark in is trust rating and hes only willing to give the site in private. That sets my spider sense ringing to be quite honest. I will never click any links hes sending me. Everyone be careful.
1939  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BlockChain.info Not Here on: March 06, 2017, 07:24:19 AM

Has blockchain.info improved their security recently? I use them for small amounts and it all looks secure to me. They have an HD wallet and I enabled 2FA, second password, I also disabled TOR access and I get a confirmation email everytime I log in.  Isnt that secure enough?

I think is secure enough, just make sure that you enter with a clean computer.

Thats overly paranoid of you dont you think? A good home computer, thats protected with a good anti virus software, firewall and as long as its not used for downloading porn or all the other stuff that comes with nasty trojans and the like, will do ok.
1940  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What features would you like to see in a chat? on: March 06, 2017, 07:20:31 AM
- ability to send/receive PMs is a must
- I would love to be able to quick copy/fill (with TAB) name of the user I want to talk to
- I would like my name to be highlighted when someone has typed it
- some basic chat commands: /ignore, /disconnect, /clear
- chat statuses like AFK, Online, Busy

This is pretty much it. But it would be nice if theres a notification that someone messaged you. It would also be nice if we can block trollers in chat.

A private chat feature would be nice too. Im sure most of you have used IRC or something the same at some point in your internet lives. So something like that would really help if you want to talk to a single person at a time.
