1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Coins For Massive Profits? on: September 25, 2017, 10:20:27 AM
Decided to invest in Dimecoin, not too much but I was able to buy almost 20 million. Looking at the graph this coin is very volatile and prone to being pumped, so I'm expecting some shortterm gains like buzzcoin.

1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why such a crash in China? on: September 25, 2017, 09:31:14 AM
People are just overreacting to the stuff coming out from China.  No one country controls or owns Bitcoins.  It just takes one node to keep the blockchain moving.  Bitcoins can not die.

true, but prices can definitely stay low for months at a time. All the chinese want is to control cryptos, to be able to tax and track them. When they can't do that, they'll ban it until they figure out a way to profit from them. That's most likely whats happening now
Then a ban is what is going to happen next, they are not going to be able to regulate it, that is impossible and their citizens that still want to use bitcoin will need to hide their tracks of the tyranny of their government or just get out of China and do their business someplace else.

It's actually quite easy. They can track fiat currency, so any time a deposit on their bank account is done from an exchange, they can tax that

Beyond amazing!! They will have more users than Bitcoin by spring.

Watch and tell me you disagree!!

I disagree

Golem and IOTA... these will be giants one day.

SOnm will surpass Golem, or they'll work side by side, which is also possible. Given Sonm's low price and smaller supply I chose them, but Golem has a lot of potential as well

How? Sonm is more marketing than actual product
golem* you meant ?  Cheesy

Sonm actually has a working prototype, golem doesn't, and the team is highly active
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find your ICO's ? on: September 25, 2017, 09:10:40 AM
This forum, facebook ads, and online articles and blogs

Facebook ads? I never see any ICO ads on FB. Do you post a lot about crypto?

I don't post about crypto, but I do recieve tons of ads for multiple ICO's, yes. Change bank, Atlant, kickico, Electroneum, ...

Plz make more buy orders for us, we need your buy walls for protection, or refund us.

That's not how investing works, either you win or you lose

In my opinsion the following things are scam indicators:

* paid and useless posts in the thread (mostly in-thread bounties paid offsite
* no or less dev posting activity
* huge marketcap or no cap

A ton of good coins answer to these criteria. Just because the coins aren't doing so well or are taking a lot of time, doesn't mean they're scams
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 24, 2017, 09:37:16 PM
Their ban was powerful, made bitcoin dumped to 3000 usd, but now it is 3700 usd again. They can't prevent the future.
Of course the Bitcoin market will not be collapsed by Chinese people and I'm sure if China disappeared then the cryptoucurrency market will probably be more stable and will have a good future development path.
They don't have all of bitcoins, that's why their ban just temporarily affecting the market, they're now barely have capital more than 20% of total supply, all the money went to many countries with loose rules.
this ban also bring negative and positive affect to china themselves.
by this i'd say, bitcoin is a top notch future currency.
It's more of a group decision that they have in the higher courts. China can't remove the ico's from the people because there's ways around it their laws.

Read this and ask yourself whether or not this piece of shit country wouldn't go to extreme lenghts to enfore its bans
http://nypost.com/2016/01/03/how-chinas-pregnancy-police-brutally-enforced-the-one-child-policy/

Now i'm not saying this ban is problematic in the long run, because cryptos cannot be stopped, but saying that people will find ways around laws is a little shortsighted when talking about a country that bans and fights everything it doesn't like, controls or understands
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: September 24, 2017, 09:35:08 PM
It's still not too late to add our investment to NEO. Because of course we still remember, with the value that occurs now compared previous value only half.
Of course now value is only half, wonder why that happened? of course not because all you and %99 of posters in this thread care about is to have NEO back on top, after all your bosses are holding at least fifty percent of the total supply. if NEO was the first of it's kind it would've been a different story but 50M coins out of 100M to be in the hands of a company is like Satoshi having 11M Bitcoins, would any of you even look at Bitcoin if that was true?

NEO does have treats no other coin has, and it has as much potential for global mass adoption as Ethereum (both not as much as bitcoin, but thats a different story). The fact that only 50 mil are in circulation doesn't mean that much. They're not meant to be used as coins, unlike bitcoin. You should look at NEO more as shares in the company, in which case its normal 50% are in the hands of the management and owners.
What are the special treats? if I'm not a total stone age person, once you have smart contracts you have literally whatever and I repeat whatever you want, what can be done with NEO that is not possible to be done with Ξ? why would I buy NEO when I can mine Ξ if people had to only buy Ξ from a company I really doubt the price could've reached more than $10.

NEO Quantum, for starters. Also, this article explains it much better than I ever could.

1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: September 24, 2017, 08:39:03 PM
Nothing new - this project is just second Estonian-grounded project simply extending ideas of previous Estonian digital Polybius bank, which first proposed idea of blending banking services with financial marketplace. The slight difference is that Polybius team was shy to mention cryptos in conjuction to banking services, but these guys dare to do it.
As far as it concerns crypto accounts and crypto-nominated debit cards - there are hundreds of such start-ups and even well-established companies like MonacoCard, Coinsbank, UQUID etc.

Economic model is also weak - in WP they promise to distribute only 10% of annual income to tokens holders and try to sell only 40% of token supply for near 50mln. For instance, Polybius bank engaged to distribute 20% of annual income for all tokens, from which 93% are sold to public. Thus from financial perspective Polybius token is 17x more attractive then CAG.

Given these considerations I restrain to participate in this ICO and not recommend anybody to engage in it.

I have to agree with you here, for starters it's going to be very hard for this token to be listed on any serious exchange for a long time if not ever due to its "banking" nature and regulations.

Read this, the website has no connection to any of the projects discussed in the article, and change comes out as the best one

Thanks, the comparison in the article is accurate and Change may have its advantages over other similar projects but that does not change the fact that it's going to be difficult for the token to be accepted at exchanges like Bittrex or Polo but I also hope I'm wrong.

As the world moves closer to global crypto adoption, things might change (pun intended lol)
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: September 24, 2017, 07:18:44 PM
Arch still scheduled to launch this month. That's the next release on sonm roadmap. Could be good timing coupled with binance too this week. Or do i misunderstand?

I have the same question is arch realising this month

If not september, probably early october. The new listing is more urgent IMO

At the same time, I've heard that Sonm has a payment structure too similar to dividends...so exchanges like Bittrex will prob not list it until this is changed. That's what they were talking about in Telegram. Will we see an update addressing all these concerns and questions

Lets first focus on increasing volume by adding binance. Maybe Bittrex will change its mind, NEO is listed and they pay dividends in antcoin (not exactly dividends but still)

1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO NOW LIVE on: September 24, 2017, 07:00:35 PM
how many MNE  coins totally?? is it just like ETH?? no limit.

It is hard to explain like this but you can get whole detail at the opening page of the topic to understand more better. I can tell in big lines this is much different than Ethereum it is mined automatically with every new block mined by ethereum miners. There are 4268 genesis addresses and each address gets 1.84 MNE daily. This will continue for 47 years approximately to reach at full supply. Now half supply will be burnt so good times ahead.

You forgot to mention that a large chunk of the Genesis accounts belong to the same person that will dump his coins on you for 47 years

Would it be different if 500 different people dumped this coin on us for 47 years? I'm not saying the devs are doing a good job, but I think this thing is widely exaggerated. The coins are still there, and minereum actually works great, yet some people prefer to take a loss right now and trying to sink this ship as fast as possible, over giving the devs the chance to work this project out. Seems rather stupid to me.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: September 24, 2017, 05:54:31 PM
I posted my answer on another thread as well, but I think it's a good answer :p

I'm guessing Sonm, Datum, NEO and Change.

Sonm because the tech is incredible, the team is very active, and the only reason why its value is so low is because the ICO was a disaster, people didn't get their bonus or something and the ICO price was higher than the listing price. Either way I'm convinced it could go to 8$ a coin, which is x100.

Datum because there's billions and billions in the data market right now, just run 1 facebook ad for a week adn you'll know how expensive that is. Datum will allow you to make money selling your own data (likes, dislikes, hobbies, plans, knowledge, ...). About 1.5 billion coins will be sold, 3 billion will be the total supply. 1 ETH gets you 10.000 DAT, which means 1 DAT is about 0.025$. I could definitely see 1 DAT be worth 2.5$, giving Datum a 7.5 billion marketcap.

NEO needs no introduction, right now prices fluctuate around 15$, I'm not saying this coin will be worth 1.500$, but it can definitely go up to 500, giving it a x35 ROI.

Last, Change is the crypto bank of the future. Multiple analysts rate Change Bank as the best crypto bank today, allowing users to pay everywhere in the world, earn Change coin per transaction, cherry pick from the best financial services in the crypto market, and so much more. 1 ETH buys you +- 500 CAG, which makes 1 CAG worth about 0.5$. I could see Change Bank reach 1/10th of Visas marketcap of 230 billion, or a cap of 23 billion. Assuming the total amount of CAG will be 312 million (read it somewhere), each coin will be worth 73$, making it the most profitable investment opportunity out of these 4.

Agree with sonm and neo , not sure about datum and change ( those 2 pump and dump coins? Never heard of it )
I think the next 100x is WTC , The dev behind this coin is too big to ignore , after this china FUD is over this coin will skyrocket. Fuck where is my salary  Embarrassed
lol. Cheesy you invest all your salary? datum and change is good ICO but x100 is impossible now.

Both are longterm, and of course it's speculation but I believe both could prove to go the distance and rise up to multibillion dollar caps
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DIMEcoin on: September 24, 2017, 05:53:47 PM
Where do you keep your dimecoin? I just bought some on Livecoin but the volume is really low. I therefore plan on holding it in a wallet for a minute until I can get on the novaexchange (its currently under maintenance).

i use Cryptopia..

Thanks, will check that out!

lambo talk and pictures here all of a sudden gives me a bad feeling lol. like something will happen to get get rid of lambo crew again, either somehow it ends up not listing on binance, or getting heavily dumped there  Cheesy

I also believe lambo talk and pictures are a bad sign Smiley
But i don't think it cand be dumped real bad because the price is already very low compared to ico. Not to much profit there.

From what i've seen so far, if the price goes very low and it stays there, then that's a sign to buy not to panic. The problem is that a lot of people are buying when the price is increasing Smiley) i think it's just a matter of emotion over thinking

It'll get listed on binance really soon so we could expect to see some increase in volume and price
