19341  Economy / Lending / Re: Coins to lend - 1BTC on: June 19, 2013, 02:38:21 PM
How would I go about giving my collateral? Say if I had stocks, how could I "lend" it to you for the length of the loan?

Talk to your bank.
19342  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.57 BTC Loan on: June 19, 2013, 02:20:48 PM
I already said I can provide my LoL account or my Steam account (You can ask around about their prices to know how valuable they are) as a collateral but I won't send it to the seller.

Then how exactly is it collateral?   Huh

The lender needs to have in their possession something that can easily sell for the amount owe.  If you use an online account, default on the loan then use social engineering to get your account back, you've scammed the lender out of their coins.

19343  Economy / Lending / Re: Coins to lend - 1BTC on: June 19, 2013, 02:17:19 PM
Rate / APR 20% - 25%.

1. 0.2BTC loan for 1 week   = 0.24BTC back.
2. 0.2BTC loan for 2 weeks = 0.25BTC  back.
3. 0.5BTC loan for 1 week   = 0.6BTC   back.
4. 0.5BTC loan for 2 weeks = 0.625BTC back.

That's wrong.

1:  0.24 / 0.2 = 1.2; 1.2^52 = (13104 -1) * 100 = 1,310,300% APR

More than a million APR. Wow, someone must be desperate if they want to borrow off you.

lol its not a huge loan for few years... what i ment was. Rate  20% - 25% ontop of what you borrow.
meaning this is right.

1. 0.2BTC loan for 1 week   = 0.24BTC back.
2. 0.2BTC loan for 2 weeks = 0.25BTC  back.

a person borrows 1 btc. and after some time the person has to pay back 1 btc + 25% of it making it 1.25%

Then take the term APR out of there - Annual Percentage Rate.  If you charge 25% per week, that is NOT 25% APR.
19344  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.57 BTC Loan on: June 19, 2013, 02:11:49 PM
I hope you guys will rethink about this.
I swear my only intention is to get the account before its sold and to repay you as I said.

I hope you can give me a chance to build my reputation like all of you and if someone wants to trade but needs something specific as collateral or more info about me please tell me.

I am in need of that money urgently  Undecided

Think of someone of yours that is small and valuable that you can mail to a person before they give you a loan.  This makes sure you will pay the loan back, or the person will sell it to recover their money.

If you don't have any collateral, since you are new here, you will not get a loan no matter how much you beg, plead or whine.
19345  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 2-6BTC loan on: June 19, 2013, 01:31:59 PM
anything else?

What collateral are you going to provide for this loan?

No collateral = no loan.
19346  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for $1000 loan 10x+ paid back! on: June 19, 2013, 01:30:10 PM

What form of guarantee do you give ?

What do you mean exactly?

I'll pay you back myself if for whatever things don't work out. Keep in mind the money is buying hardware from newegg which has a 30-day return policy and I could at least get 75% of the value resell wise.

He means what collateral are you going to provide?  Something worth at least $1000 that you'll get back when the loan is repaid.

If you don't have anything, then you won't get the loan.   Undecided

Hey, would you like splitting a loan with me?
0.5 with 0.5 for a friend from this forum.

Anyone know if he can be trusted?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199351

Just send your coins to the address in my profile.
Thank you for the information.

How much do you want to borrow and for how long?
I got 1btc total and can lend it for 2 weeks with payback off 1.25btc. If u need the loan to be extended past two weeks, additional 25% will be added making it 1.25btc * 1.25 making it a total of 1.5625btc

Plz confirm what deal you want to make as the post has changed since ur last reply

I don't want to borrow anything.

I'm saying if you are so easily fooled into losing your coins, just send them to the address in my profile instead.  We don't need to worry about repayment dates or terms...

Since you didn't specify which Saturday, there is no way you will be scammed on this loan.   Wink
19351  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Multi-Accounting Scammer Viceroy/buyer on: June 18, 2013, 09:01:32 PM
Then you're only accusing him of slander. That's very different from "scammer". It's ironic how you're accusing him of slandering, yet you're slandering him yourself.

Slander is also different than libel.   Undecided
19352  Economy / Lending / Re: Coins to lend - 0.2BTC on: June 18, 2013, 07:02:00 PM
Available balance: 0.2btc

Maximum duration 1-2 weeks.

Rate 25%.

You must have some reputation. Post here if interested!

I'll take those 0.2 btc and pay you back 25% in 1 week.

This sounds a bit safer then the jr.member. Currently I`m waiting for a reply from  "hegjon" @ localbitcoins.com if he can sell me some BTC face to face . the ammount im asking for is 0.8BTC which makes a total of 1BTC.  Are you interested in borrowing 1BTC with 25% APR for 1-2 weeks which means you will have to pay back 1.25BTC.

I`m new to the bitcoin community and not quite sure how i can prove to you who I am or that i have the BTC in the wallet. So just tell me what information you need. Also do you have anyone who can vouch for you?

He is saying he will take your 0.2btc and pay you back 0.05btc (25%) in one week.  That is what you want?  To lose 0.15btc?
19353  Economy / Lending / Re: Have coins to lend! Available balance: 10btc on: June 18, 2013, 04:56:01 PM
Can I get a 1.5 BTC loan. I have some reputation. Pay back on July 1.

Yes, a reputation of a cheater on a poker website.   Undecided

Hyperlinks need to stay, but we have to remove images from private messages.  Script kiddies are grabbing my IP simply by my looking at any message.  So now I browse this site imageless.

my name is Curveball. IRL i am a bank teller(the irony right?). i got interested in bitcoin a few months ago and its been a mostly positive experience. Until i fell for an asic scam, and the scammers used my private info to scam me out of my hard earned(and bought) bitcoins. just a heads up to people do not fall for these scams. they will get your private info for shipping and use it to extort you. i went ahead and paid the "ransom" and they have left me alone, but the thought of knowing someone out there with my personal information is quiet disheartening . Still, i won't let this deter me from bitcoin. i'm just giving you the heads up, cause once you get caught in a web with a scammer who has your personal information, the only thing you can do is pay the ransom or ignore them risking they steal your identity. Be careful you guys.

Can you post the transaction code?
19356  Economy / Lending / Re: I require a ~4BTC loan on: June 13, 2013, 09:04:27 PM
and my word as a christian person, if that means anything to you.

What it means to me is you will default on your loan, pray to your god for forgiveness, then walk away with a clear conscious..

This guy is actively scouring reddit and messaging people here trying to sell products.  I dont even know how he really tied my reddit username to this one.  It's not ive gone to extreme measures to hide the connection, but it just shows how far this guy is willing to go to scam.

The name "Mosper" is now tainted beyond repair.  I don't know why he just doesn't use another username and start again.
19359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FREE ASIC's! - moderator note: scam- on: June 13, 2013, 01:41:52 PM
Nobody needs to pay this loser anything - he is full of shit.

Everything he knows about me I SENT HIM when I requested his hidden image in the private message.  My OS, my browser, my screen resolution, etc, all that information is sent in my browser when I make a connection.  He's just trying to scare new users into paying up.  This link shows everything about your system that is revealed every time you visit any webpage:  http://browserspy.dk/

Other than that, he is totally wrong about my system.  I use a technology called port knocking that renders his cheap port scanning scripts useless.  He can't crack my system - he can't even figure out which proxy I am using without knowing with ports to "knock" at and in which sequence.

I also never said you couldn't find my IP - I know the internet better than you, and know what is and is not possible.  Stop making up stories.

With that being said, I am done entertaining this loser - have fun scaring people who know little in this thread.  As someone who has been in IT longer than you, I just want everyone to know you they have nothing to fear from your "skills".   Wink

That means there are only 4 people remaining who have yet to pay up, oh and mlawrence too, you have to pay too.

Yawn.... I had such a great sleep with such nice dreams...

Off to more interesting threads.   Smiley
