1941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that it is said that South Korea will close many trading platforms in on: September 14, 2021, 12:03:14 PM
I think the government is not taking good measures for whatever reason that will make them deciding to close down exchanges because the increase in exchange is growing and it generate income to the government through tax. Whether there are scam is another side but If government can decide to regulate and do a KYC requirement for customers on the exchange, that is better to close them down.
1942  Economy / Economics / Re: Boost of a countries economy on: September 12, 2021, 05:35:02 PM
The aspect I can agree to the idea in the post (which is the help part) but not to the country or to the economy but to the general citizen of the country because of the job that citizen do from it. Cryptocurrency give help to the youth. The government is not able to provide jobs to everyone and the people are taking care of themselves through the means of trading. Another point I can consider is the comfort as payment options that it is providing now because you can choose to make your transaction with cryptocurrency like bitcoin. So the government is not getting any economic boost from cryptocurrency because they are fighting against it.
1943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you calculate the entry and exit of your hour / day positions? on: September 12, 2021, 05:01:17 PM

For closing position you're using TP, SL or just Market order?

To this I suggest you use pivot calculator. The pivot calculator will guide you on entering and likely exit point that you want. If you also understand your pattern of trade and candle formation, you can stop your trade before your exit point when trading is not what you are expecting so that you won't accumulate losses.

If you don't want to share your tricks here, a private message would be also fine.

Don't have that kind of thought buddy. There is nothing that is hidden here about trading because we are all here and trying to share knowledge and get to learn from one another experience. If there is a secret, I tell you that you won't take anothers profit because the market is so rich for any one to make futune from, this is the truth.

1944  Economy / Speculation / Re: The indices that makes bitcoin price on: September 11, 2021, 07:49:29 PM
now and have discovered that the market is highly unpredictable, with the sudden crash of the price from 52,000 to 46k

This difference does not matter and should not be called as crash but a drop. A crash is a huge drop that will devastate every one involved in trading or hodling. I think the worrisome thing here is that the drop happened not in a day but just in minutes to an hour. Anyway, the price is beginning to be stable again.
1945  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: September 11, 2021, 05:17:08 PM
I think renting can only be legit to the extent that the agreement of duration of use elapse or last. That means after expiration, you start another process of trying to go into renting again and maybe at that point in time, you may not be lucky as fast as possible to get a renewer from the old lesser or a new one entirely. Then you can stand the risk of losing your business. Have you not considered these pros and cons of lease and acquiring a license direct especially if you intend to stay in the market longer.
1946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: September 11, 2021, 11:28:55 AM

I would like to know if there is some method on how to understand when the market is going to dip or when the market is going to pump.

It is not easy but you can get close to it though you can't be perfect to it. Getting close however is by yourself and no body else, it means your strategy. You need to build a strategy that will work for you and you are going to have a good understanding of it. Such strategy is not more than either fundamental or technical analysis. You will learn the one working for you and that takes severe training and seriousness for you to be able to read the market.

For more information, fundamental analysis is particularly about news. So if you can understand trading the news then you can get to work on that but I believe most traders like myself duel more on technical analysis which is more of charts, drafts and use of indicators. Technical analysis usually works and effective, you can consider learning that way to build a good strategy.
1947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: September 11, 2021, 09:12:03 AM
Best strategy is hold for long term this way even when the market dip you won't feel much pressure because your goal is long term, I don't think any expert can give you accurately what BTC price will become 2022, it could be up or down, nobody can give you that mate, my advice is btc is on dip buy as much as you can afford and hold.

Yeah, you are right. I know no one can predict future prices but my question was just to get a rough estimate on it.

As the quote you have made above and some other responses too that has come up, you can see that no expert advise can be given and the reason is no body is sure. Looking at what drop we had few days back, I didn't think that there was a thread here warning traders, investors or traders to back out, keep off or dump. So that will tell you it is not very possible and the crash splashed on faces. You can just be cautious and by hindsight, you can escape just sometimes  Grin
1948  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy of Bitcoin on: September 10, 2021, 09:47:42 PM

What is the reason for the decline in the price of cryptocurrency Bitcoin? It is unimaginable that it will suddenly decrease by 2.6 billion. If this is reduced, the price of Bitcoin can go below 30 thousand?

I don't think the reasons for the fall were really adequate or excusable to say the least but the volatility was high and requiring some kind of correction. I won't be surprise with the $30,000 because of this recent drop could have gone any length down and there are some speculation for more drop.

But this kind of a fall was totally unexpected for most people I guess. Bitcoin price literally crashed in half an hour.

No it was not totally unforseen. Technically, the technical analysis could show moving average, RSI and some others on over bought level and usually such times you can expect some corrections and I think that was what happened.
1949  Economy / Economics / Re: Two basic things that can give you an advantage on: September 10, 2021, 05:13:21 PM
Regarding op about the drop, I think more people got the panic mood when price was calling down like iceberg. Newbies may be those really affected with selling in panic, an experienced trader could tether if they are merely hodling.

(usdc and doge) might be bad for long term holding.

Yes doge coin has dropped more than bitcoin have done but I still believe bitcoin bull will pull the doge up soon. Doge coin is cheap at the time selling at $0.25 and a good time to buy.
Ripples also and Ethereum has dropped, truly buying top 10 coins now may not be the profitable because there are more cheaper coins that will give huge profit.
1950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Golden Cross approaching on: September 10, 2021, 03:31:09 PM
I have seen moving average on 4hours and above pushing the candlestick further down wards and this may be indication of a little more bear to $42,000 and below. That may be a crossing there approaching the bear. Bitcoin has been a the correction the last 3days and today is not an exception but anything may happen to change the bear ranging.
1951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you profit from the dip on: September 10, 2021, 01:44:59 PM
At this point making profit from both bull and bear market should be the target so we don't always wait until the market is bullish before we make profit out of Crypto. We're you able to spot the beginning of the bear moment or did you join the trend after several candles formed.

Futures is simply the best way to make easy profit, yes I spotted the drop but due to one reason or the other, I wasn't able to take a decisive decision to dump for profit and within an hour when I had the time for the decision, hahah it all came crashing down in my face I couldn't do any action again than to watch the losses. Anyway it is a drop and the rise is what the expectation is now because it was a correction that cut most traders trapped in the maintime.
1952  Economy / Economics / Re: Ways to avoid being scammed!!! on: September 09, 2021, 08:36:15 PM

The insensitive increase in scamming activities over the decades has been on the increase in most parts of the world.
People have attributed this increase to several factors and yet, despite the awareness gathered, the trend still strives.

I have long been scammed so I won't join my opinion that it is on the increase. Maybe I have grown and experienced to be smarter now and won't fall for just any scam plans. A major reason that we get scammed is greed, take away your greed and you won't be scammed.

I have then noticed that some factors help me not to fall for scam anymore. They are below, maybe you can add the idea if it is not there in your post

1. Being able to suspect anything that looks too real to be truth.

2. Understanding that there are no free gift anymore because behind it is a scamming possibility on the gift or favour most times is the case.
1953  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to spot accumulation zones after a pump? on: September 09, 2021, 06:48:06 PM

It's like micro-accumulation zones are formed after an upward movement, that allows the price to continue its rise; the worst scenario is just a little retracement, so, my question is, are there any indicators or volume patterns that could help to spot such accumulation zones?

It is more as you are going to study the waves movement for what you are asking for. The waves like Elliott can direct you or price action to have a clue to what is happening in the market for you to prepare your mind either for a breakout or continued ranging.
1954  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you notice how corporations took over the internet ? on: September 09, 2021, 03:24:14 PM
Have you notice how corporations took over the internet ?

I am a web dev and designer from 2008 ...i remember the internet being more human / person to person even chatting was fun back in '00 ...now the internet ...it's like a giant platform to do propaganda / advertise / spam and  for narcissists to showoff  on social networks like insta and fbook ...in my opinion we need to do something to get the vibe and freedom back ...

The corporations have no choice than to chase their people to where the market is now. The internet is currently having much attention that being the reason corporations will take their business and offices and address to the internet where it will be reached. The internet not only helping the big firms but also helping individuals and businesses related to cryptocreency. The adds of cryptocreency and groups selling their trading ideas are all there through YouTube, Instagram, twitter, telegram groups etc. I think the internet has better increased the awareness of cryptocreency more than it has been to corporation because corporation also adopt cryptocreency payment which keeps their transaction faster and far reaching across.
1955  Economy / Speculation / Re: The dump was only a funding reset on: September 09, 2021, 07:12:13 AM
It wasn’t nice to see live, this is bitcoin though & none of us should be surprised. I have a habit of panicking when these things happen but I never sell. Isn’t cool to watch your net worth tumble. 1BTC = 1BTC though so HODLERS not affected etc. I am still fully confident that we’ll see more highs THIS year.

Hahaha it is really a dump though but shouldn't get shivers down your mind as you already know the system and volatility of bitcoin with your experience. Although one thing I have seen about bitcoin is that we expect this kind of dump as correction after a while during a bull. I have read some talking about September being the time for some dump but I can't confirm that, but I surely expect a correction and it will bounce off going back bull soon. It dropping from $52,000 to $42,000 yesterday was really scary anyway but I see it as correction.
1956  Economy / Economics / Re: China cracking down innovation on: September 08, 2021, 05:51:35 PM
That's because the political party in that country is so obsessed and controlling that anything that might remotely offend them, they immediately go berserk over those supposed offenders.

I think this is the problem with communism because it raises few individuals that will benefit from the political system and they grow by feeding fat from the system. But on another wing when the few individual try to go against or independent of the system, they get cracked down.
1957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yesterday's drop in prices, was it natural or man made? on: September 08, 2021, 12:24:36 PM

Now the question is, is it a natural process or there are some people behind this drop?
Can we assume that there are forces who can 'manage' the market like yesterday?

It was just a circumstance of correction which was because of consistent increase of the price of bitcoin. So it was natural to happen and can be managed also. For a hodler who is able to foresee the drop, the best would have been to sell out outrightly or to convert the btc into USDT and with that you won't have the lose experience. USDT and other stable coins are best use for such kind of predicted drop.
1958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some trading mistakes beginners make on: September 08, 2021, 07:49:41 AM

- Not having a target when trading: When trading, you should have a target as soon as you enter a trade, and as soon as your target is met, I believe you should exit the market. Most people have lost money because they don't have a target. Some targets may be met, but greedy people will refuse to sell, which resulting in a loss.

This is important to trading yes because it is like moving a truck to a place or down the road and you have to be careful about it to get to where you going but regarding to trading, the challenge is greed. I see sometimes you wait to grab bigger profit but at the end the market traps one to losses and unfortunately you begin to regret...A good lesson to learn.

- Entering many trades at once: As a beginner in Cryptocurrency, you don't need to jump into many trades at once; instead, focus on one or very few trades that you believe you can monitor. If you have too many trades open, you may become confused and lose control of them; however, if you focus on just one trade, you can give it your full attention, whereas if you have too many open, your attention will be divided.

IMO this is not a problem. Entering more than one trade at a time isn't bad but what is bad is a martingale without a stoploss applied to each entering  Grin

- Not using stop lose: Some people believe that using stop lose is a waste of time and money. While I understand that not everyone is interested in using stop lose, I believe that as a newbie, you should make stop lose a priority in all of your trades because it will help you cut or reduce your losses if things go wrong. However, as a skilled trader, you can trade without using a stop loss because not everyone prefers it.

The most important part of trading is to use stoploss which is part of money management skill. A skill trader not using stoploss has his day of reds.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Uk most deprived areas have the Highest number of gambling outlets. on: September 07, 2021, 04:19:39 PM
I think it is a simple reason of one of the factors that makes entrepreneurship to succeed that will make the siting of such business in that area. Lets us be realistic to this, if you want to open up a business venture or outlet, it is most reasonable that you open that up where your target area or patronizers are and in this case the opening of betting outlet will be done close to people who patronise it for easy access. Your population matters to your business and gambling outlet open for the sole cause of profit making and not charitable organization or foundation. I don't see anything wrong on it from a business perspective at least.
1960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investors their mind on: September 07, 2021, 02:22:30 PM
Prudence and patience are the keys to being able to control emotions, plant them well in us.

I can bring to your information also that as far we talk on trade, we must make some losses. Sure yes that prudent is good but no matter how prudent we try to be, we must encounter losses but to manage ourselves not to get huge shock is why money management is good as losses are unavoidable in trading. You don't run away from your passion because you had a lose.
