Good luck with that, I don't think it can be controlled by any entity really unless the whole internet falls to pieces and no longer works ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

If it is a small portion of the total amount of coins then it shouldn't really be an issue, but if it gets to a crazy percentage then what is the point in others joining in.

You would be better off not broadcasting they are for sale, some people here frown upon it and maybe negative rep your accounts for this reason. It's unfortunate but a large portion of the market for buying these accounts is scammers who think they will make a higher return back. There are other monetary purposes for them like sig campaigns but it is trickery.
To add, on top of the signature campaigns they can also deceive people by setting up altcoin ICOs and because they have a certain rank, a hero rank for example there are many that will trust the user and send bitcoin and end up being scammed, the same for gambling ponzis' and so on.

Yes, in the same way bitcoin is bad for fiat. Oil will run out eventually, there are also cars that can run on water and apparently with little change to the current engine, of course this will never take off as where would the corporations make money from water powered cars?.

Depending on where you are located you could sell some stuff for some bitcoin, in the UK there is a shop called Cex https://uk.webuy.com/ where you can send stuff in and get paid in bitcoin. On this forum also you can have a look in the goods section and see if you have anything that you can put up for sale but like you said you may not get too much interest under a newbie account. Outside of this and what X-ray suggested there is no easy quick way to get that amount, good luck.

Gambling can be addictive if you are prone to addiction, there are many groups that do treat this as a sickness and try to help those who need it.
It all depends on the person, I know people that can put a bet on every now and again and only for a small amount and they are happy win or lose, then there are others that put too much on and just can't stop.

nthused mentioned solo ltc mining. I looked into it and would be willing to run on that side of the fence. CK made the solo pool as well. Any opions?
I can't seem to find a thread to the ck litecoin pool would you mind linking it ?

I was thinking about joining that campaign but when I was reading through the thread it seemed too messy for me, and I couldn't see that the manager was very active, not knocking anyone but I am used to being part of some nice smooth on time campaigns.
I hope you receive your payment.

I can't see any problem in just keeping it going, people will continue to get old and it's nice to know you will have something if and when you reach that point, no harm though in taking a % of it if you can and putting into bitcoin the best is yet to come.

There is a shop in the UK called Cex and it is technology based selling games etc, they started to install a few machines last year. I found the whole experience straight forward and painless although the fee was a little too high, can't remember what it was but it was approaching the 10% mark.

Never heard of that movie then I only got involved in bitcoin the tail end of 2013, the rise of bitcoin I know and I have seen bitcoin mentioned in a few tv series, 4 stars isn't too bad must be a half decent film.

You can buy almost anything with bitcoin but to get something extra over fiat I don't think we have reached that level yet. It would be cool if one day when you purchase a game or a movie using bitcoin it would open up some hidden extras but that is way off and probably something that will never happen.

Wiped the lists and reset with a deadline of March 30th.
If we keep getting people I will try and keep this small project running. If not I will probably shut it down, I know there are bigger groups that consistently hit blocks and keep the fun going.
Cool, nice to have a deadline as well and thanks for running this so far, hopefully it will pay off in the next couple of runs.

Congrats, nice to have a bit of luck every now and again. As others have said I know it's easy to just keep on going thinking you can win more and more, but drawing the majority of your bitcoin out would be the best move otherwise you will feel quite bad if you lose it I know I do when it happens to me.

This shop is pretty cool, they have an ATM in a few stores and I think they have just added more in some other stores around the Uk. they take pretty much most of your old tech and give you the option to receive bitcoin as payment so any old mobiles could be worth a few satoshis.

Good stuff let's hit at least one block ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

That is a good example, it just makes sense. Why would you choose to wait 48 hours when you could wait just minutes, it's examples like this that the public need to hear and not the other negative stuff that gets thrown around the news. Then I suppose you never really see much positive stuff in the news.

I find the same so now I don't bother trying to explain to anyone as they will be using it at some point or at least a variation of it.
Now the challenge is to gain as much bitcoin as possible before they catch and then when they do you can be like "told ya so"

Nice to hear there is something happening with Litecoin although I have only heard it here, I will need to look around and find out more information.
Stealth feature though? is there a massive need for this add-on as this was a huge selling point for the hundred altcoins we have seen over the last year or so, if it has a real purpose then great but if it is just going to be added on for the sake of saying "we are now stealth" then it would do more damage perhaps.
