Litecoin - getting privacy features this year?

What method of privacy are they thinking about?

ETH can not compete with a REAL coin LOL "Newbie"

Litecoin has proven itself and ETH has not.

LTC does not need "stealth features" either.
IF they go Anon gimmick i am done with LTC and putting them on my shit list.

Not the only coin to have anon features.
I would not think that is the reason.

However I would be interested to know which method of anon they will go for ...is it one we have already? or are they trying something new?


I saw a list of planned LTC improvements somewhere but I forgot to bookmark it.

It seems coblee spends most of his time working for BTC directly and not so much LTC.

However I think his view is that where BTC will be adopted LTC will be adopted so is working for LTC indirectly.

Also I notice there are quite a few other devs working with LTC who are talking about a few new changes.

Me too whilst I still hold a larger % of ethereum's current minting than I do BTC or LTC.

I don't think as ethereum owners we need to feel the need to try and put down all other alts. There is a large world out there. That is where ethereum's success awaits.

If you are talking about the base then BTC is noddy. If you are talking about the market cap and volume then every other coin is noddy.

It's about time their devs works double time to regain their lost glory Litecoin to me is still the silver in the crypto currency world it would take a lot for the other coins to catch up only Ethereum is the legit contender in the silver spot..

LTC have many good sides and in some way is better than bitcoin but

No, but right after bitcoin, LTC is the most trusted and most widely known and accepted coin. ETH is still unfinished and untested without real word exposure and experience.

Nice to hear there is something happening with Litecoin although I have only heard it here, I will need to look around and find out more information.

Stealth feature though? is there a massive need for this add-on as this was a huge selling point for the hundred altcoins we have seen over the last year or so, if it has a real purpose then great but if it is just going to be added on for the sake of saying "we are now stealth" then it would do more damage perhaps.

I'm not used to do so, but now I have to disagree. Adding new features and improvements to a working coin is always a good thing. The possibility of anon transactions isn't just a "trendy" marketing gimmick what will fade away, that's an essential thing what should be basic functionality of all coins.

But still is good possibility to have it. LTC must have more real life usage.

I don't think so. Litecoin is not having any development for a long time and I don't think they will add stealth features. Litecoin is boring compared to all the 'new' coins we are having.

He actually used the word privacy not anon if there is a difference I'm not sure.

I think there is merit to private transactions or having the option of such.  Lot's of honest people and businesses may not want their transactions tracked for many reasons.
