Could we have a similar image showing also the internet users in 1996 and in, say, 2012?
It would have to be before 1996. There were 36 million internet users in 1996. Maybe the internet in 1990. I used the internet in the 80's. 1990-1992 I would guess to be a pretty good parallel for where we are today with Bitcoin. "The Internet's takeover of the global communication landscape was almost instant in historical terms: it only communicated 1% of the information flowing through two-way telecommunications networks in the year 1993, already 51% by 2000, and more than 97% of the telecommunicated information by 2007" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_InternetIf my theory proves to be accurate, Bitcoin will be several orders of magnitude larger by 2020.

It will feel like ice water for you, but it will spread the word and create thousands of new Bitcoin converts, we need badly. We don't need anything but patience, but I respect what you're doing. Redistributing bitcoin wealth to be more equal is a good thing for everyone, since this is the future of money.

tl;dr?
Regulators have no teeth in the banking industry because they'll get fired for actually doing their jobs correctly. The banks have all the power in the relationship. The system is broken, we knew that, but this recording will be to banking what the NYPD Tapes were to policing.

You have provided a bitcoin address for donations, but no name or other contact information. Assuming '91 your birth year, that makes you 23 years old? Got capital?
Also, I'm in NYC, willing to meet to share some ideas, and confirm you're a real person in NY and not some random scam-beggar.
Yes, I'm 23 years and russian. I moved to New York 4 years ago. Sure we can meet. I will delete that info about my bitcoin wallet if it looks suspicious for you, no worries. I didnt write any names or contacts because there is no point to do so, at least this stage. If you mean hundred thousand dollars by saying capital then no. You ever go to the Bitcoin center? They usually have events monday and thursday, I go sometimes. Maybe we could meet there?

The interesting thing is to know it's purchasing value This is like saying the most interesting thing about NASA spacecraft is the cost to build it. Nope, that's the boring part.

THE MOST VALUABLE ASPECT(S) OF BITCOIN CAN BE REPLICATED The most valuable aspect of Bitcoin by far is the network. Bitcoin the most powerful computer network on Earth securing it. That, you cannot replicate. But good luck trying! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi284.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fll36%2FBigsteve87%2FGifs%2Ftumblr_lnf69dcAvv1qh3j4zo1_500.gif&t=663&c=OAZKwCjaJTFRMA)

This is just too technical. In the practical side, it can be said that you own bitcoins and you can spend them whenever you want. Practicality does not give you the power to bend reality or language to your will. Reality is reality, and no one can own information, it is free by default, most especially now in the internet age. Bitcoin is information. Just as water always seeks to flow downhill, information always seeks to be free. Once information has passed to a new location outside of the source's control there is no way of ensuring it is not propagated further, and therefore will naturally tend towards a state where that information is widely distributed. On the one hand information wants to be expensive, because it's so valuable. The right information in the right place just changes your life. On the other hand, information wants to be free, because the cost of getting it out is getting lower and lower all the time. So you have these two fighting against each other.

This means there is (...) 0.03 BTC for every world citizen. When the dust has settled and fiat is dead, 0.03 BTC will make a person very, very wealthy. Because by then, .03 BTC will not be .03 BTC at all, it will be 3,000 bits - a small fortune. Spoiler: no one will be measuring wealth in Bitcoins anymore, they'll be measuring in bits. Measuring wealth in BTC in the post-fiat era would be as absurd as measuring wealth in # of mega-yachts today. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FW85QQEx.jpg&t=663&c=e8SIr2t6rkd1Gg)

Some helpful visual aids: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.garciawealth.com%2FPortals%2F55851%2Fimages%2FDeclining%2520dollar%2520chart-resized-600.jpg&t=663&c=MYNM2OW11O4Lbw) The red line below is Bitcoin's inflation rate. Notice how it decreases to nearly zero very quickly. Consider, dear reader, how this decrease in inflation might affect the price of BTC in the years to come, especially 2013-2021. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.everydaycrypto.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F08%2Fip.bitcointalk.org_.png&t=663&c=htUgfoei84Q5BQ) By 2021, reality will have set in. No one will be able to afford to live in denial of this new reality by then. On the outside, we've all got about ten years to accept reality. Anyone who hasn't figured it out by then, is going to get fucked hard, right in the wallet. With no lube.

I recently had a brain tumor removed and I had my right side Balance hearing mechanics removed, I am applying for disability until i recover.
Filling out the form I came across the question "Do you own any bitcoin or cryptocurrency" Here is what you should write: "The answer is no, I don't own any bitcoins. No one owns any bitcoins. Ownership is not a relevant concept on the blockchain, there is only control/access. Think of the blockchain as a huge series of glass safety deposit boxes, transparent but impenetrable. Anyone on the planet can go visit these boxes, see what's inside, and even make a deposit to any box (blockchain address) they choose. However, the glass itself is invulnerable to attack. You either have the (private) keys to a particular box (address) or you don't. The vast majority of boxes (addresses) has only one or two sets of keys, privately held. The keys to some of the boxes have been destroyed, which means you can put money in, but never take it out, sort of like a black hole for wealth. Some of these boxes (addresses) may have publicly known "private" keys, which is the same as saying they are always "unlocked" for public use. With the advent of cryptocurrency, math - information itself - became a form of currency."

bitcoin CAN be created in unlimited amounts, in the form of alternate crypto currencies (...) in this sense, bitcoin ultimately is not inflation free and is not unlimited. Yeah, just like you could replicate Verizon's network technology and then sell people phones and plans for the same prices as Verizon! Oh wait, no, that's retarded, Verizon has a huge established network to leverage for this, and you have none. In fact, you couldn't be more wrong. There is only one cryptocurrency. All the others are irrelevant.

Why some people say Bitcoin has reached its "maximum exposure" level? Because some people are short-sighted, and others are just plain stupid.

Bitcoin vs central bankers is about as absurd as horses vs cars, or oil vs. steam power.
This isn't a competition, this is technological evolution.

In a move no less curious than its previous attempts, China has blocked a popular Bitcoin website from being accessed on its domestic servers – but why? When you have nearly 2 billion obedient human cattle to herd, you are extremely dependent on manufactured unreality. It's the same in the USA and Russia. Here we discuss reality, here we discuss the future, here we discuss mathematical inevitability. Nonetheless, the reason for targeting this specific outlet for Bitcoin observers remains a mystery. Mystery? There is no mystery at all. This sort of behavior is extremely predictable. Our truth is a direct threat to their mass-deception. Of course they don't want their citizens exposed to it! Look, the truth is like a virus infecting their body of lies. Attempting to silence the truth via desperate quarantine is like an immune system response, totally futile but ultimately unavoidable. This is the last gasp of the nation-state, folks. The dawn of the information age heralds the end for all nations, because all nations are built on a sandcastle of lies, and the unstoppable tide of information is finally coming in. " Free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master."
