Can I use it with my iPad? Where can I download it? Smiley

And is it based on the blockchain? I don't see any of your messages on the blockchain?

we are accepting testers will open a topic @ Nextcoin & nxtcrypto shortly.

runs on the blockchain....we have a HIDDEN faucet inside the app which tops you up with Nxt if you have no funds in your account when you first open the app.

100% runs on Nxt blockchain

2 photos:
You see 2 cables going into the box, atm the batteries need a first charge with normal 5V/1A powersupplys, it should be done in ~14 hours

And the parts in the box:

If the community like it, I can send it to one of the Berlin conference people. Well, please resend to me when finished Wink

Todo:
- testing odroid U3 + XU
- measure power consumption of all parts, batteries and solar panel to optimice power usage for offgrid solar NXT nodes
- make a list off all pars + weblinks to shops
- howto
- ...

Greets,
eb

You could drill a hole thru the plastic instead of having to squeeze the ethernet cord....then it would be enclosed and maybe waterproof.

Part of Nxt Messaging is already implemented (Arbitrary Messages, Alias System), part is being implemented (Account Control).

How will Account Control affect the current AM?

P.S. Any chance of reserving the NXTcash asset name so all of NXT could use a common sense name for it? Not sure if Asset Names are transferable. does anybody know?

No chance to reserve, but u could offer the highest fee when AE is activated. Asset names r not transferable.

Any time frame for activation of AE?

Was there a decision on a specific block height yet?

This seems very wise....i could be wrong, what do you guys think?

"The Ethereum project is also excited to announce the alpha release of the open source testnet client to the community at the beginning of February. This will give people an opportunity to get involved with the project and experiment with Ethereum scripts and contracts, and gain a better understanding of the technical properties of the Ethereum platform. Launching the testnet at this date will give those interested in the fundraiser a chance to better understand what the Ethereum project is about before participating."

Taken from Ethereum Press release: http://blog.ethereum.org/?p=100/conference-testnet-and-fundraiser-updates

Edit: This is allow dev's time to build for the platform so by time it officially launches they can hit the ground running.  Their adapting....this was pointed out as a major problem and now they are trying to resolve it.

My thinking is that they won't need to do IPO some big guys will fund them.....but maybe they will IPO only to gain acceptance from the community and not fall into the same trap as Ripple.

Ouch, something strange happening on eMunie ship. Crew members are quitting, Dan again is crying like a girl in trollbox  Cry

What's going on all of a sudden?!?  Ethereum pushed back the IPO too.   Undecided

Voodoo magic. BCNext cursed them all?

oh wow. if both of our major competitors fail just think about how much capital we would absorb.
could be misinformation....our competitors could always adjust their plans...they wouldn;t give up so easily the future is at stake.

That would be a huge step for Nxt and cryptocurrency in general though.

It's still weird that u send 10K into the mixer and get 12K back... We'll be accused that we print coins out of thin air vacuum.

it would be worst if he gets back 5k....they would say we steal coins.

Edit: There should be a smaller lost range.
1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 29, 2014, 02:38:43 PM
Regarding Mixing Service. Do we need such on-chain service that mixes coins with anonymity-reliability trade-off? 30% anonymity means 70% reliability to get all the coins back. Yes, it means that with 100% anonymity u could get 0% - 200% coins back.

How long will it take you to tell everyone that "100% anonymity - 100% coins back" is possible?   Wink Cheesy Grin

No idea. It's the only real offer I got. I assume that it's supposed to work similar to gambling, it could work for guys who really want anonymity but 1M is too much, IMHO.

what do u think is a fair price?

Just like CCinvestor I am a whale waiting to dump but as you do not succeed to produce anything I start dump right now.

I don't believe you are a "Whale", reading from your posts, it seems that you never bought nxt with any of your "7 figure investment".
It sounds like you missed the action from Bter and now you are creating this fake mass dump scenario in hope that you can buy in cheap.
PLEASE Prove me wrong.

i also think he is bluffing because you will not find any worser point to sell than now - after all we know the client will be released within the next 3-5 days, there were very good news from the miami conference etc.

the only point I am with him is that we should not get arrogant, there are tons of competitors, nxt has a small first mover advantages, but it is neccessary to keep hard work on

good assessment we got a lot to work to do to stay ahead.

PS: How old r u? Ur deeds prove that u r not a mature person. Want me to give the examples of ur immature behavior?

Let me guess. My deposit page?

So now we are down to calling each other "kiddies"? Cool. Let's do it.

BTW, since you didn't give me a link and instead switched to personal attacks, you lost the argument.

chill out man....

when is the deadline for AM contest?

P.S. By the way I didn't know there was a rule on using caps in this forum.

There is no rule. We are a self-organized community, so just let's try and be better at things we do.

Bold is for something really important, like an announcement, that you don't want people to miss.

Italic is commonly accepted for emphasis, it doesn't "jump" at you from the page like bold.

I never use italics i'm sorry its just not my thing but you can choose to ignore when I write in caps.   Smiley

AGREE ....I wouldn't even call it marketing but EDUCATION.....we have to EDUCATE THE PUBLIC.

WHY ARE PEOPLE OPPOSE TO THIS.....WE HAVE ALREADY SET THE MARKETING BUDGET AT 3 MILLION.....lets use some for PRINT ADDS & RADIO SPOTS TILL APRIL.

Would you people stop speaking in caps? What is it, a teenage girls chat room?

I personally don't read any posts with this kind of text.

You want to emphasize something, use italic.

fine that is your opinion..what about bold??..do you think that would work also?

P.S. By the way I didn't know there was a rule on using caps in this forum.

Shirts - Yeah, they were sharp.

Final - I walked around with a ridiculous large Peercoin button.  It was a conversation piece that opened up a lot of conversations:

"Oh you're with Peercoin, I'm a miner that.."
"Peercoin, I trade you (like I'm the actual coin itself lol) on btc-e"
"I want to introduce you to someone..."

I heard the above comments for 2 days straight, it became almost a game of which of the 3 will be said next. It allowed strangers to quickly get comfortable with the brand before even opening my mouth.I agree with tact, but I also like being put right out there. Subtle in a crowed market space is ambitious but often times causes grief.

I bet we're 90% of the same mindset.. just a little style differences.

I've been to a fair share of international tradeshows/conferences...and I totally agree with you....that button differentiated you very quickly which is good in attendees minds as they have limited amount of time to spend on every exhibitor.
1958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 28, 2014, 07:40:38 AM

I agree with this part. If we're going to market, our target audience should ideally be two types of people: 1) End users, of course, but more importantly 2) skilled developers and businessmen.

NXT's strength is decentralization, and if we market to these type of people 2), they will see that they have a golden opportunity in the NXT ecosystem to contribute and make a name for themselves. And when they do, NXT's community will grow. Eth's and MSC, etc. single group of devs can only do so much at a time. NXT's group of dev's will only grow in time and eventually outpace the best other coins can do with our sheer volume of talent.

So if we do marketing, I believe marketing right now to get skilled people on-board is a good idea. Price increases will simply be a side-effect of the productivity the new talent brings in.

I recommend designing some Nxt Polos or Long Sleeves for future conferences. The Bitshares and Ethereum crew really stood out when they walked around the conference.

yes...someone was already planning on making T-shirts and sweaters....Nxt uniform  Grin would be great for conference attendees.

I think they were in the nextcoin.org forum.
1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 28, 2014, 07:11:35 AM

do both...radio spots & print ads (doesn;t have to be 1st page but should be full page)

BOTH ARE ESSENTIAL....WE PLUG THE RASPI/ENERGY EFFICIENCY TECHNICAL STUFF IN PRINT or WEBSITE.

NOTE: isn't the Bitcoin magazine editors oppose to Nxt??

Bad rumor, I just heard back from Elizabeth introducing me to her writers.

GREAT....lets get the prices for full page adds, articles, etc....how about advertising on their website....pls do inquire into more details for us.
