Can someone say what is the power draw from the wall for Sapphire 280X Dual-X/Vapor-X?

Not sure if this will help, but its a quick screen of GPU-Z on the Sapphire 280X Dual-X Card

Its running in a 6 gpu rig alongside 3x 7970 and 2 other xfx R9 280x

Total rig is doing ~401h/s with that card at ~ 70h/s all stock settings.

Thanks!

I see Zec is now down to $151 a coin.

Still not a bad price per coin I suppose.

I wonder if anyone sold when the price was high and has bought more now the price has dropped hoping it will go back up again

Well that is an ideal situation in almost any scenario: buy low, sell high.

and yes, if people had the coin at anything over a few BTC and they sold, they did well Smiley

thanks!
1944  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][EU] 2x HD7990 (=4x HD 7970) (80MH/s ETH or 240sol/s zCash) on: November 12, 2016, 07:14:50 PM
Should be common sense when you see something like this, that its never going to be power efficient.

I got the 7970, max is 16.5MH/s per core so 33MH/s per 7990.
ZEC speeds keep changing, currently its 80 H/s per core so 160H/s.

Yea lol, these cards, are not meant to be power 'conscious' by any means, they are beasts and should be fed raw power and let run wild  Smiley

thanks!

Hi,

Does the 4 coin set come in any special case or something to display?

thanks!

They come in plastic airtites.  You'd probably have to talk to bg4 about a special case.

It would be really nice to be able to display the 4 coin set.  I was thinking the same thing and I'll see what BG4 is thinking about this idea if you haven't contacted him already.

Agreed, if you find out any info , i would probably be interested in gettign a set.

thanks!

What does 'DevFee: Stop mining and disconnect" mean? I just run stock everything with 2 x 290. Am I not paying devfee? I want to!

I believe that is part of the code telling you the dev fee portion of mining has finished for the hour Smiley

please support the dev fee Smiley

Keep up the great work @Claymore! It is very big of you to even include the option to disable that...if people do, ? i just have no words.

thanks!

thanks!

Here's what I'm running on my windows vanity rig (click here for linux instructions):
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/amd-radeon-software-crimson-15-12-driver-download.html

I have never used Windows 10 so I have no idea about that.

Thank you for the info and links Smiley

Ill let you know how it goes on the 15.2 drivers.

1957  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: November 10, 2016, 06:08:28 PM
Hi,

I'm having issues with vanitygen using my GPU's

I'm on WIn 10 Enterprise,

I have 3 rigs i've tried.

Rig1: 5x RX480

Rig2: 5x R9 290X

Rig 3: 6X R9 280X

Not sure if Win 10 is the issue, but I have gotten errors on the RX480 rig, which I have heard simply doesn't play well.

But the other 2 rigs, I can see my gpus, and when I select them in a bat file similar to this:

C:\Users\R2\Desktop\vanitygen-0.22-win>oclvanitygen.exe -D 0:0 1buckrogers
Difficulty: 10054102514374869638
Compiling kernel, can take minutes...failure.

C:\Users\R2\AppData\Local\Temp\\OCL3888T3.cl:173:19: error: constant address space qualified variables are required to be initialized

Not sure why it is returning the error on the gpu, but as a side note, if I just run the:

C:\Users\R2\Desktop\vanitygen-0.22-win>vanitygen64.exe 1buckrogers
Difficulty: 10054102514374869638
[548.54 Kkey/s][total 1977344][Prob 0.0%][50% in 402856.1y]

The cpu portion will run, but obviously I would want to use the GPU's, and have many different rigs to choose from, all are running Win 10 enterprise though.

If anyone has some suggestions, please ...i'm all ears.

thanks!

Hi, these are a few posts back and the errors are from the older rigs. this one is a 5 card 290x rig.

**EDIT** ill attempt trying an older version of the catalyst divers on these, any suggestions for a stable version?  also does the base OS make a difference? (im using win 10 enterprise)

thanks!

Has anyone in this thread experienced the issue i posted?

Is it an OS thing? a specific driver? anyone?

thanks!

it seems an update to the program is needed for newer gpus..

i cant get this to work on my rx 480, rx 470, or r9 380

get an error about constant space variables or something.

I HAVE older gpus Smiley

i have many diff rigs with cards like 280x etc, I am gettign that long error though when i try to use them.

Forget about the newer RX series cards, I would be happy to have it work on the older ones like the R9 280x or the R9 290x or R9 270 etc.

any help is appreciated.

thanks!

just a heads up guys i used to code for mpgh back in the day for combat arms hacks  , so if one of the team members of mpgh says its legit ( which they have ),, its legit

well, i can definitely say the one i have is legit Smiley
