Yes, the price of Bitcoin does matter. Too high, and not many will buy but many will sell. Too low, and people will lose interest. I'd say it's about balance. That's what I believe in short.

1943  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Watch out guys - NASA confirms alien invasion on: May 14, 2015, 09:44:00 AM

If the speed of light is the absolute limit in the galaxy, then we will never visit an alien's planet, and they will never visit ours.  The distances are just too great.  Sad

I'm talking for organized matter.  While it could be theoretically possible to enter a black hole and come out in some other area of the galaxy - there is no way we would survive such a journey.  Smiley

If something like wormholes exist, the speed of light doesn't matter because you travel a faster route.

No. With technology growing everyday.. In a few years time, we would be able to travel at the speed of light x2!
I've heard of some very creative scientists figuring how to warp space-time, so the spacecraft would be able to travel in much less time. Less space-time in front, and is 'pushed' out at the back. Another interesting idea I heard was to detonate small nuclear 'bombs' at regular intervals at the bottom of the craft and reach very fast speeds.

Anyways, this is what I think of the 'black hole travel' idea. With that much gravity, you, your craft, and everything else would be ripped apart, down to the atomic level even. I think you'd need some sort of craft that allows it to travel at 300km/s or even faster to be able to not be spaghettified. Now, I might be totally wrong, but that's my say. Smiley
1944  Other / Off-topic / Re: SSDs lose data if left without power for just 7 days on: May 14, 2015, 09:35:37 AM
Phew... when  I was in the planning stages for my PC, I was going to go for a ~1TB SSD. Luckily, I ran over budget, so I resorted to a 2TB SSHD, which is pretty much a Hard Drive, but with a small part of it a Solid State Drive. It's much cheaper than an SSD, and only a tad more than an HDD. I was just going for it for its speed.

I agree with Lethn on the fact that SSD technology is not ready. Although I like to be close to the frontline for new technology, I force myself to only buy the ones that have been on the market for a while and does not have too many cons.

Buy some UltraCoin.
Wait.
Sell UltraCoin for more than you bought it for.

actually many options for buying coin, no need to wait ultracoin. whether this sort of trading? wait coin down and buy it? then sell it?
in my experience whenever someone is advertising an altcoin like this, it is usually because it is falling apart and the person is a bag holder with high hopes.
not that i am saying it is true about this case but it was always this way so far...
Or in other words. Pump and dump so that you have a big profit. Pump and dump are so very helpful to the businessman. They but altcoins and then wait for a few days and they sell it more than they buy it.
yeah. without Pump and Dumps no one could profit (fill their pocket with bitcoin) by trading altcoins. it is only the matter of finding it.
i used this method and still using it, but in my experience i have never seen someone advertise a coin which is going to be pumped, it is always being advertised after the pump and when it is falling Cheesy
Because if you advertise and its going to be pumped they will not give you an importance because the price of altcoins is low and they will buy this altcoin so that they can stored it and they dumped it when the right time come they will sell it higher than they bought it.
Is there anyway to know if a coin is going to be the one to invest in? Would there be a technique or some kind of activity in its value that would make it likely for you to buy low, sell high and make profit? I have a feeling that there is no such thing, but is there at least something, just a little hint, that says 'invest in me'?

1953  Other / Off-topic / Re: How hard is it to hack a website ? (.asp) on: May 12, 2015, 02:38:58 AM
this is not a hacking forum, its a bitcoin community
better ask your question on other forums related to stuff you are looking for
thanks
Well, sorry to disappoint you, but this is the Off-topic section. So people are free to post anything they want. But I see your point. The question OP asked would more likely be answered on a forum dedicated to hacking.

1958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would you introduce Bitcoin to your friends and family? on: May 11, 2015, 03:26:50 AM
My mom is not able to send SMS. She is not ready to listen about Bitcoin.

How old is your mom? I've never met anyone who's parents can't send a text message. Heck, my grandparents can do that. I wouldn't trust either of them with bitcoins, though  Grin.
Well my mum (or mom) is in her 50s and the only thing she knows is how to answer calls, make calls and end calls. She can't even check her messages, even though I've tried to show her how to do it countless times. Oh well.
1959  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: May 10, 2015, 03:13:58 PM
Surprisingly, I had earned some Bitcoin through gambling. Do note that I do not deposit any money into the gambling site, but through its faucet. Just today, I had earned 0.002 BTC, which isn't too bad considering it was all for free. Also, I earned some more through my signature campaign.
