1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choosing between your relationship and gambling. on: February 15, 2023, 06:39:17 PM
It's understandable when your cousin's fiance doesn't want to take any chances and prefers to cut the issue by threatening their relationship. But at the same time, I don't see anything wrong with gambling as a side job as long as your cousin knows his limits which you already mentioned. It's not easy to tell if the relationship is worth saving but if i'm in his position i'd probably cut the relationship unless the fiance is willing to discuss it even further until we reach an agreement and convince her that it shouldn't be an issue by allowing her to track my spending habits as an example.
1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing losses - Double down bet or Bet twice? on: February 15, 2023, 03:04:24 PM
What do you typically do when you are on chasing loss situation?
That is what gamblers need to avoid when they're going through several losses because of the urgency to recover you're most likely going to lose your bankroll that way. Back then if I plan on chasing my losses i'd also do the same thing but that gave me a good lesson to stop doubling down after a loss since it's also one way to develop an addiction. After that, I usually stick to the same bet amount because there's no need to recover all your previous losses when you're only playing casually and at best you have to learn to accept it.

Here are more crypto bookies that can be added to the NR list and I've linked their ANN threads as well.

And Betonbit can also be removed from the D rated books as i've checked their site earlier and it seems like they've closed down for good.

I had the exact opposite and was going for the over all because of the promotion to get a freebet for each touchdown scored by Sportsbet.
Even managed to place a bet before it started for one of the SB Specials offered at 6.00x for both teams to score over 3.5 touchdowns in each half which landed very easily.

Very good Superbowl even though it wasn't how I thought it would have ended.
Congrats on hitting the specials, after the first half I already counted my bet as a loss but I also had the same thought and found the game entertaining regardless because of how competitive it was from start to finish.

People on social media are saying that the Chiefs showed an incredible level of sportsmanship and tenacity to win their LVII championship.
Yup, you could never count them out until it's over and even if Mahomes isn't at his best condition.

G2 are the champions of the Iem katowice tournament.
I have to say that they really put on a great performance throughout the tournament. The fact that they defeated a team like Heroic in the final shows how much they should have won.
When they're on an impressive win streak it's kind of expected to see them win it all and props to Heroic for somewhat gaining back their form as their performance dipped before the IEM and still kept the finals competitive as possible.

Time to watch some Div2 matches later as I found some good odds on AG to win 2-0 @1.84 they're up against Xerxia which is currently sitting at the bottom of the standings.  Xerxia only has one series win so far only beating the weakest team in the group while AG hasn't lost a single map out of the four series they've played.
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling safer than before ? on: February 14, 2023, 01:57:15 AM
My topic today is about a simple question, Do you think gambling in old days is more safe than our days now?
With casinos being more accessible now than before then we could say it did become somewhat safer since we could avoid those potential dangers that anyone could experience from offline gambling. Sure, scams can still happen but most gamblers can easily avoid them now that we have so many reputable casinos compared to back then. As long as gamblers put in enough effort to do their research then they should have no issues gambling online since there's more than enough information to tell which casinos are good and bad.

Answers submitted for the first round and thanks for the tag.  Cheesy

I was a bit confused when answering the ATP question but I just added a parenthesis on the name that I think would be the champion of the tournament since we had to put two names on the same line.  Smiley

I'll be rooting for Dortmund in the playoffs to demolish Chelsea as I need them to win dominantly for my two predictions to hit.

1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 14, 2023, 12:35:11 AM
I'll be betting on the Oklahoma City Thunder -2.5 @1.98 as the odds look pretty good against the Pelicans, they'll be playing at home and whenever they're favorites at home they usually cover (currently 8-3 ATS). The Pelicans are still struggling on the road currently with only 2 away wins out of at least 10 games and with their poor form it seems unlikely for them to break the streak today when they're up against one of the best teams that cover the spread.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What most gamblers do. on: February 14, 2023, 12:01:20 AM
I want to ask a question. And I need serious answer from this forum, and my question is WHY DOES A GAMBLER DON'T HAVE A SAVINGS.
In my country (Nigeria) there are many gamblers who don't have savings and it isn't help matters at all. Most of these gamblers can't afford for there families but they can afford money they will use to gamble. So why are they not having savings that they can use to help there families in time of lack. Like they said, we save money so money can save us tomorrow. But these gamblers doesn't know that.
There could be certain factors why gamblers tend to not have any savings for example bad budget management and control which is common to see in a lot of gamblers. Or maybe some of those gamblers in your country don't have much to save after paying their bills so instead of saving, they put that remaining money into gambling and expect to get more out of it. I also agree with the others and there could be a good portion of addicted gamblers that can't help themselves and it's not easy for all gamblers to easily change their habits.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: February 12, 2023, 10:38:10 PM
Tbh i'd go with the Eagles if i'm picking between these two teams but I would go with an under bet here as that would be the best bet after seeing their games end up hitting the under a few weeks back. The Chiefs might have a concerning defense but I still think both teams won't go over 25+ points as the Eagles usually lose their steam once the second half starts. If it's going to be a tight game i'd expect the scoreline to end around 21-24 so with that said i've placed my bet on the under 51.5 with boosted odds.

1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: February 12, 2023, 04:04:32 PM
I manage to capitalize on the strong CT side from Heroic and took G2 @1.75  to win map 1 during the second half. Initially, it looked worrying for the side of G2 when they're having a tough time winning full buy rounds on the T side but good thing they're able to hold in the second half. Heroic tried their best to break G2's economy by winning a few half buy rounds but they always crumble on full buy rounds.

1953  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommendations for Good Esports Betting Sites? on: February 12, 2023, 12:13:34 AM
I'm looking in to various esports betting sites and I was curious on where do you usually gamble?
Currently, i'm using 500casino, Sportsbet, and Stake for esports betting and that would be their ranking based on my recent gambling activity.

If only I could use Nitrobetting they would probably be at the top since their previous sportsbook Nitrogensports had the best esports lines back when they were still in operation. I can't recall which provider they got but it's one of the best that i've experienced when it comes to crypto bookies that don't require KYC and their alternate lines were one of the reasons that I kept coming back to use them even though their sportsbook is outdated.

That first map comeback from Team Liquid was amazing, I thought it's going to be a 2-0 for them but Vitality bounced back on their map pick with ease. The third map was a bit back and forth in the early rounds but Team Liquid manage to slightly pull away in the T side and closed the series in the mid to late of the second half. This should've been a win for Vitality if only they didn't underperform but well played to Team Liquid on making it this far and at least their odds on G2 aren't bad as I expected.

Tough times for Fnatic org as it seems they cannot find success in many competitions not just only Dota2.
Yup, even their league squad failed to advance to the winter groups.

Disappointing performances from Faze and Fnatic as they just couldn't get on a hot streak like they did last year in this tournament.

The remaining teams for the groups are playing right now.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/counter-strike/esl-cs-go/intel-extreme-masters/matches
Fnatic losing against Complexity was probably the biggest upset that day, but they'll probably lose against Outsiders in the lower final.

And my leans for the playoffs are both on the slight favs NaVi @1.6 and Vitality @1.6 since the Rio major champs(Outsiders) significantly dropped their form and NaVi's results steadily improved with npl. Team Liquid showed some signs of life after beating Faze but I still think they'll lose against Vitality since their wins in the lower bracket are too close when the teams they're facing aren't in their best form.

1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm looking for a Casino which has a similar VIP Program of Stake on: February 08, 2023, 01:24:57 AM
Post and pre monthly is reduced if you have not wagering at all, I'm experiencing it my self when I received less amount for the pre/post monthly bonus after more than a month of inactivity. Before my inactivity, I used to get around $25 but after my inactivity, I received around $15-$17 few times. However the amount I received is back to $25 when I came back and made some wager.
Thanks for correcting me there because in my case there would be times when I rarely wager for several weeks and I still get the same post monthly that's usually around $20.

then nothing wrong with trying out other platforms that may have a better VIP program if there is any such.
The unfortunate part with trying out other platforms is that you're likely going to get smaller rewards but they could change in the future since casinos would always try their best to remain competitive.
