Just remember that transaction using bitcoin is not reversible as other say so don't believe on anyone that they can help you out to recover your lost funds since its so hard to track those criminals especially if they are anonymous and hiding their identity.
Those guys who offer service like this are also scammer and they target distress victims of scam because they are prone to get scam again for wanting to get back what huge amount they lose.

I agree with this. Despite being in modern times, there are really a lot of places that decided to maintain and pass on their culture and tradition. There are many people as well who do this despite the technological advancement. There's nothing reallly wrong with it as long as they are not stooping on other people's rights and at the same time causing harm to those around them just because of their beliefs
Others didn't know that many professional and rich business people are applying feng-shui in their daily lives. Based on what I have seen in the forum. There are some Post that I will see some of the boards scared me to make comment, mostly Meta. Because I only see Sr/Hero/legendary members in that board. And some of the threads I saw there are very good for me to at least make a comment but my fear is that, wether is is an offend to do so. So I want to know if I have restrictions on some of the boards to make posts and comments in the forum. And if there is please provide those boards for me so I will be properly guided.
Don't get feared to post if you think your opinion is right oe you can contribute something on the discussion, have a confidence to communicate with other forum member since most of us here love to read different opinions coming from different people. Don't mind the rankings of forum users because it doesn't really mean anything if you think about superiority since what you can contribute is the most important thing here. |

Problem is that outside of this forum 1xbit doesn't have a reputation of straight up scam so Coingecko and Mycelium probably don't think that they are doing anything wrong by allowing 1xbit to advertise there.
Sometimes you need to consider that ads are not placed specifying a service. If they are using service like Google AdSense then the ad network is sending the ads and they have no control over it. There are many ad networks not just Google AdSense. 1xbit spends millions of dollar in their advertising. So obviously ad networks are one of the choice for them. If they could spend millions of dollars for advertisement then why they didn't solve the issue happened to their site? If they just take those situation or cases seriously for sure they can eliminate the doubts of people and we will not see any people discuss some bad words against them. But since Mycelium let that ads place on their platform it indicates that they are not checking the backgrounds of their promoters and just want their own gain for that situations. |

I would not blame the newbies because they are misinformed. I am aware how some people so hype some cryptocurrency new projects that it can make one to be rich, it has much profits, with all this information newbies have in mind too that bitcoin can also make one to be rich , not getting to know that bitcoin is more about hodling.
I can remember back in the days when i used to mine ''Pi coin'' with the sole naive aim that it will someday have value, sell it and become a millionaire overnight, but never did i know it was a total waste of time, not until i met a friend who introduce me to bitcointalk forum where i must say has taught me everything i needed to know about cryptocurrencies. So in a north-shed, it is our duty as members of this forum to educate those around use that may have seen Bitcoin as an investment scheme where you could invest x capital today and get back 2x in few days, weeks or months, by telling them the risk involved and how bitcoin actually works. Because there are so much hype about Bitcoin on social media Not totally an obligation because sometimes there are close minded person so if you teach those guys about this for sure they will give you a bad impression and maybe they will call you a scammer. For that I will just wait for people to come over me and ask about crypto then will teach them what I learn about it as well teach them the basic things on how to earn money from this. |

i am currently thinking if we all boycott all gambling sites or other sites from russia but it turns out that the owners of these sites are not citizens who fully agree with the war being carried out and the owners of these sites have to provide for their families, will we also be that bad? i think boycotting gambling sites is not the right decision because gambling owners don't necessarily support the war to happen. as far as i know, many russians don't agree with the war, but they can't go against putin's decision.

Casino owners are citizens, so they also oppose government decisions but they don't have the power to oppose government policies. Elon Musk is easily one of the most fickle characters that I have observed over time. If he could plan on purchasing Twitter and back out later on, supporting BTC and withdrawing his support later on isn't a big deal at all in comparison.
He isn't a good person with a black heart based on everything that I have heard about him, but he is a genius when it comes to business which is why I don't think he took these decisions on a whim.
Fact is that he simply manipulates the cryptocurrency market for his own gains now and then.
We must simply accept this for what it is, Elon is only interested in making money with his investments and there is nothing wrong with that, he is not someone like Saylor which seems to genuinely believe in bitcoin and its future, so the fact that Elon is now selling his bitcoin should not surprise us at all, if anything this is something a lot of us saw coming as he never gave the same aura of confidence Saylor gave, and now we are finally realizing we were right all along. The pressure to remain at the top richest man on planet is so high so he need to find multiple sources of income to retain this and he find an opportunity to gain millions of dollars in crypto so for sure he will continue his stint on bitcoin to gain more money with it. And we cannot expect him to give his 100% support on bitcoin because he surely here to gain not for the new technology offered by cryptocurrency industry. |

What you need to know is the early adopter will always win and it only survive during the hype happen, when the hype ended, you will expect the token price will suddenly drop and become worthless. FBI issued these cyber warning now but there has been many scam alerts which people completely ignore and continue to invest with brain wash in these projects and then get rugged by them as you can see this one also worth million dollars.
How could they raise $40+ million so easily? The answer is people are fool enough to send their funds over to scammers in hope of earning more or greed and carelessness.This is only one example and you would find many more such scams in this crypto market but you need to be extra careful with your funds and don't invest blindly in any of those projects you see over the net.
This scam will not stop because even if FBI warns people about possible scam to happen their are still greedy people who will got victimize on this type of scams because they always thought that government will just take away their opportunity to earn with them without thinking that government is saving them from huge harm. They raise money easily because there are still people believes that they can earn huge money while sleeping if this chain will not be break and people will not learn about past scams happen for sure we will never see this type of scamming ends. |
