I also don't understand why other people are taking things seriously if someone uses the art of Fengshui in gambling.

After all, these people that use lucky stuff take care of their bankroll. Why other people should bother with that?

Correct. Let's just mind our own business and let these people just do what they want.

The point stated above as long as you don't hurt anyone and you are not hurt is very important and that is something I have been thinking recently.

I have seen people who don't minding hurting people emotionally, mentally or financially and physically and that is something which I have gone through - emotional and financial loss - and I alway think in a free time about what people have done to me.

If Fengshui or any traditional belief helps people succeed in gambling or if it gives them more confidence to enjoy the game, I see nothing wrong with it. We always have the freedom to choose and I guess people who believe in Fenshui find it as an effective strategy to win. We have different beliefs and we could always apply what's effective for us.

I think more of it as a tool to boost our confidence and give us comfort while we're betting/gambling but that is just an if on my side because I don't really believe in these things like Feng Shui or Mantra at all, but I understand and respect people who have a different view and has belief towards Feng Shui as they think it gives them luck or anything like that. As long as they respect mine then they will receive the same treatment from me.

You are right but then there are superstitious beliefs and there is no denial that they do exists.

Looks like some cultures like Chinese have different traditions about symbols, icons and even numbers. I am personally materialist so I find it bit boring. Although I understand when people say some icons give them bad vibes. Their argument would be in general "these are unlucky for me". But I think we can connect all those "unlucky" symbols to their bad communal and personal memories. Gambling is all about how you "feel" so I think its normal people prefer good auras around them.

It is somehow can give them an emotional support, I mean it helps them to change their mindset by following this things. Though some of people doesn't believe in this kind of things and beliefs still we need to respect them, and that's their way to cope with whatever situation they are currently facing right now, if fengshui will give them peace of mind before playing gambling and help them to manage their emotion then let them be. Believing in this kind of thing will not remove anything from them, following lucky numbers, colors  etc will give trigger some emotions that can help them to make a strategy while gambling.

Agree on this. Chinese is very persistent people and they are using there belief as foundation for there perseverance. There fengshui gives them positivity on gambling that’s why most of them only play when they feel that they are lucky because there goal is clear and they can focus on the game without emotional hindrance. This fenshui works for them that’s why it’s highly valuable on chinese culture.

But the real question is, did it really work? Because if it does work, then most of the chinese gamblers are already rich. I believe that gamblers are only rich when they are the one owning the casino or the business.

I definitely agree with arguments stating that fengshui may help their gambling life, it obviously doesn't hurt anyone. If you do not believe you are not gonna be affected anyways. But I also want to repeat real question, does it really work for them to win besides good feelings? If it does I may personally love to try it. I love to try many different things in life, because life is all about experiences. But I also "personally" (I must add this) wanna benefit over. But maybe expecting benefits is bad fengshui already? Hard to be sure.

My country also have adopted this feng shui superstition since our country has many Chinese people. As far as I know feng shui improve the quality of life and more about positivity it also has some belief about placements of things to avoid bad luck and attract lucks. Chinese casino owners obviously will do this superstition since they are facilitating a casino and it involves money, This is why I think luck is very crucial to them. Imagine they are hiring some feng shui expert just to accommodate the superstition, This shows that they are taking it seriously.

Totally depends on the culture because we know that every race or countries does have their superstitions and beliefs which means that we should respect on what other people been believing into.
As long they arent hurting or affecting someone then just let them be on what they are doing  even though on general sense we do know that there's no such thing on this world could really make
out some affect or influence on how lucky you are unless if you are dealing with strategy based where analysis could also play a big role on making  winning chances high compared when you
are dealing with pure luck based games which would really be an another story.

I think luck has a separate culture within every culture. For example, I am not sure but Europeans have bad luck and good luck superstitions like not breaking mirrors or walking under ladders. Though from my own perspective its a nothing-burger but from other people's perspective they would even give up money to have good luck / not to have bad luck. This definitely is a huge marketing help/hindrance for marketers, especially gambling casino marketing people.

I wonder now are there global gambling superstitions? Something like signs every gambler would see as luck or unluck?

They don't know the diversity that exists in this world. For example: what in one country is sacred in another is food... this is crazy, but it's the world we live in, something absurd for someone can be normal for others.
People need to know how to live with this, adapting to the laws of each country, obviously, but looking for a certain tolerance for it.

Then these people should not cross-borders. If they think that Fengshui is a sort of sorcery or what then so be it. No need to go against people doing it.

On the other hand, associating luck, even though there's no science behind it, is already a common practice in gambling.

Even for me, I just don't like to throw away my money in random gambling. While putting my best skills to improve my winning results, I also have a sort of luck-related stuff to accompany me on my gambling journey.

i believe, when it comes to belief and culture of every person, is just respect them for what they believe in. if you happen to travel around the world, you will learn to respect the culture of the people, and be more open about diversities that you will encounter with them. it may or may not be against your beliefs, but the most important thing is to respect them.

That's why a debate pointing and related to own beliefs such as religions, politics, or something along those genres, do have a never-ending argument since most people on their respective sides will stand strong to support their beliefs and won't allow or welcome any views and opinions.

Related to gambling, I'm sure most gamblers don't care if they saw the same gambler doing and applying feng-shui to their gambling activity. That was just a waste of time for them and won't increase their chances of winning if they will put some fun into doing those stuff.

so far some countries still have traditional local gambling but for feng shui gambling I have not found anymore, now the digital world has developed and more children or teenagers spend their time in front of their computers or smartphones to try to make money with fast.

I think the history of human civilization has never been separated from the myths of various beliefs that have become local cultures in all corners of the world. and modern society today calls it superstition.

regarding gambling and fengshui, if there is a correlation regarding the relationship, I think it is legitimate that someone believes in it or practices it.

as for what @famosos said there is nothing wrong with his opinion, I think everyone has a different perspective on the OP's post that is being discussed in this discussion, especially with regards to gambling. and I have to say if one's main goal is WIN, One must have a strategy that minimizes the risk of losing.

Personally, I know many people that still believes in feng shui. I have friends and acquaintances that are still believing in following feng shui for the decision they will make and placements of things for example at home. There are certain ways people believing in such think and act. They do something when it is right and perfect according to the feng shui timing and we don't have to shame them from doing so. After all, it's their life and whatever works for them is definitely none of our business.

Others didn't know that many professional and rich business people are applying feng-shui in their daily lives.

Even their respective own establishments always have a touch of feng-shui to bring luck. Look at them now, most are successful in their business. Of course, they don't just rely on luck but they also applied hard work, smark work, time and effort, perseverance, focus, and seriousness that's why they reached their decent status.

That also applies to professional gamblers. These people know that those feng-shui or lucky charms didn't affect their winnings but if they will combined luck beliefs + smart gambling, seems that is effective in the long run so they keep using that way.
