This graph makes it very clear June 13 was a terrible date to sell Sad We did okay for the first 7 months.
19402  Other / Off-topic / Re: USDT hero/legendary giveaway! on: June 13, 2019, 09:21:32 PM
Thanks Smiley I've already deleted my post, even though it's in Off-topic, I realized on-forum altcoin giveaways that require posts might be against the rules. So just to be sure, I deleted it.

Still waiting for it to show up in Bittrex, but also time to sleep. To be updated tomorrow Smiley
Update: 2.00700000 USDT received, 1 got eaten by fee I guess. Thanks, I've never touched USDT before Cheesy

The NMC wallet isn't working properly so we temporarily disabled it, please note that the wallet is not permanently disabled.

We are working to have the wallet re-enabled as soon as possible, but we don't have an estimate on the timeline at the moment.
If only they would have said "Temporarily Disabled" instead of "Permanently Disabled" in the wallet Tongue
19404  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer on: June 13, 2019, 07:20:05 PM
Possible weird: Hueristic appears in large font once, small elsewhere.
It's this bug:
To do
Use smaller font when only non-DT-members responded.

What causes a flag to expire?
I'm not sure, maybe it happens when the creator clicked "Delete opinion"? Others can still Support or Oppose the Flag though.
See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=36

Yep, I thought that would be the reason. Maybe an extended pagination could do the job. Something like this:

<< prev 1 [ 2 ] 3 4 5 6 next >>

But thanks again for the development of this tool! This is just a suggestion / future improvement. Wink
Maybe later (much later) Tongue I did this for my Trust list viewer, but it means I have to update all older pages each time. And with at least daily updates, it's going to be a very long list.
I'm not much into User Interfaces, and more into just dumping all data Tongue

19406  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer on: June 13, 2019, 06:45:00 PM
Can you please change 1.html to index.html in order to directly access Trust Flag viewer 1st page when we visit loyce.club/trust/flags/?
It's supposed to be like this, so you don't have to go through dozens of pages to get to the latest one once there are more files.
19407  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer on: June 13, 2019, 06:18:22 PM
Something strange going on with line 36 in the "opposed by" section giving links..
Thanks, I haven't implemented (or even seen!) all possible states. This Flag is Expired, which apparently breaks stuff. I'll add it to my list.

19410  Economy / Securities / Re: LoyceV's Legendary 10 Month 10 Person 10 Altcoin Investment Roller Coaster #2 on: June 13, 2019, 12:07:23 PM
Update!
All our alts dropped a lot. In total, we went down in Bitcoin and in dollar, despite Bitcoin going up in value. Bitcoin's dominance went up too, and I think our altcoins did worse than the average altcoin.

Time to sell!

June 13, 2019. Results after 10 months, with 0 months to go:

* NMC has a very large price difference on different exchanges, that makes the average price on CMC much different than the price on Poloniex.

The amounts in column #10 are the result from selling the coins.
Full disclosure: Binance didn't allow me to sell the exact amounts. There's altcoin dust left (NANO: 273 satoshi, NEO 1048 satoshi and WAN 1 satoshi). I can't use, withdraw or sell this, so I consider it lost.
Binance also shows 0.30149056 NeoGas, worth 11,969 satoshi, but I can't sell this either (minimum is 0.001 Bitcoin). I think I can withdraw it (Minimum withdrawal: 0.001 GAS). If anyone wants to have it, post your NeoGas addy. If you all want it, you'll all get 1/9th (minus fee). I have no use for it, it belongs to this Round, so please take it!

Archived just in case it's needed later.

In the table above:
"Start" is August 13.
"Month 1" means the first month ended, AKA September 13.
"End" means June 13, 2019.

On May 31, Poloniex sent me this email:
Quote
We will temporarily pause NMC withdrawals to conduct wallet maintenance. We expect the maintenance to take up to a few weeks. As a result, we are extending the withdrawal deadline for NMC to July 17th at 16:00 UTC. We will update you when NMC withdrawals have been re-enabled.
Now, my balance shows: "NMC Permanently Disabled". That doesn't make sense, so I've opened a support ticket.

Withdrawals
I didn't want to risk exchange rates on Tether, so I made 3 Bitcoin withdrawals:
Poloniex (0.5 mBTC fee): https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/ab221096dc0b9b9af2c04799a845e6170db82151c545fe319865e700355a7e02
Binance: (0.5 mBTC fee): https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3EMmncPsSmM3ba4vk88B8cBBmQ94WaxBVL
Bittrex: (0.5 mBTC fee): https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3JARS5oFKM6LqHL35GAmZGFrAZeJeq4ys5
(there was some Bitcoin dust left from buying the altcoins on some exchanges, so amounts can slightly vary)

The creator of [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT has red trust since 2017. From the 3 exchanges I used in this experiment, Poloniex has the most annoying user interface. Withdrawals all worked fine, but I'm especially disappointed that Poloniex didn't give me a heads up before delisting NMC! This red trust doesn't inspire confidence for my ticket, but I'll have to wait. The withdrawal deadline is still a month in the future, so I hope they'll still open it, but "Permanently closed" doesn't look good.

I'm in doubt how to proceed. I like to stick to the initial plan, which means I'll distribute the proceeds of this Roller Coaster to 10 people now.
Bill gator offered to buy the NMC at Coinmarketcap-rate, but since I can't withdraw, I can't do that today. If Poloniex fixes withdrawals, I'll distribute the proceeds too. I'll be a small amount, so consolidate wisely when that happens.
If Poloniex doesn't fix withdrawals, that means the NMC is lost:
Disclaimer
Although unlikely, several things can fail. Off the top of my head:
~snip~
Exchanges can delist an altcoin.
~snip~
If this happens, your money is gone, just like my money. That's why I limit this thread to 0.01 BTC per person, consider it play money.
In that case I'll create a "contractual violation" Flag for Poloniex.

This will be the last Round for a while. Using 3 different exchanges made it more work than it was already, the delisting was unexpected and disappointing, and most of all: this is the second Round in a row that suffered big losses. I know we all knew the risk, and I know many participants (including myself) considered the 0.01 BTC gone the moment we started this, but still, running a loss-making-Roller-Coaster doesn't feel right.
If someone else wants to host this, I'll be happy to join. I just don't want to be the one to let people down again Sad

19412  Other / Meta / Re: [Beta] LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer on: June 13, 2019, 09:16:47 AM
I've fixed most of the bugs, it should be okay to use now. The "next" button links to a 404 error when you're on the last page.

A descending order will be nice. That way we can start looking from the latest flag. Imagine having thousands of flags, in the current order the visitor will need to scroll down all the way to the bottom.
I'll think about it when the list gets much longer.
19413  Economy / Reputation / Re: Iasenko's DT Negative/Positive feedback discussion thread. on: June 13, 2019, 08:24:01 AM
I just deleted my custom trust list in other words I just resigned from my DT position.
This is my way to protest against that political madness happening right now in the forum.
You can only resign from DT1, not from DT2.

I hope you'll reconsider in time: DT1 needs users who don't like the "political madness", and I think you're one of them. May I suggest fighting the madness by ignoring it, and continue doing the right thing?
19414  Other / Meta / LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] (in deceding order) on: June 12, 2019, 10:23:22 PM
Earlier today:
We need a log for all the flag activity now, all the created flags + those who support or oppose them.
If Vod doesn't beat me to it, I'll cook something up when I have time. Don't expect it within a few weeks though.

With the unexpected Flag drama, I didn't want to wait. This is just a quick job, and I have to get up early, so I'll improve it later.

Trust Flag viewer
See loyce.club/trust/flags/ and click the latest version.
Use CTRL-F to find the usernames.

New: (Support | Oppose)
Because of Flag spammers, I've added quick links to (Support | Oppose) Flags.

New: Descending order
Starting January 22, 2020, my Trust Flag viewer is now in descending order (newest Flags first).

New: Add comments to Trust Flags
You can now add comments to my Trust Flag viewer, see Post here to add comments to LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer.

New: Highlightning non-existent Reference topics
I've added a bold red "Reference topic does not exist" warning to Flags without a valid Reference link. Even if those Flags are justified, they shouldn't be supported. But you can create a new topic in Reputation or Scam Accusations to create a correct Flag.
Don't use a scammer's own topic as Reference link, if the topic gets removed, the Reference is gone.

New: BBCode
I've added a link with BBCode to the latest version. This makes it very easy to list Flags on the forum.

Personal Trust Flag viewer
Click any username to see all Flags created/supported/opposed by that user or created against that user. This page is updated daily, I don't keep old records.

Updates
I'll do daily updates (sometimes more often), and keep old records.

Disclaimer
I'm don't know all possible text-formats yet, so a new Flag type might not scrape properly.

Bugs
I fixed most of the bugs, if you find more, let me know Smiley
If it says "Loyce Fix This", something went wrong Tongue

To do
Use smaller font when only non-DT-members responded. >> I think this is fixed.
New bug: sometimes the smaller font is used for DT-members too.

19415  Other / Meta / Re: View flags on my trust page on: June 12, 2019, 09:27:18 PM
Although external, I'm working on a "Flag viewer" where you can just CTRL-F your name.
Update: see LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer for a preliminary version.
19416  Economy / Reputation / Re: "Realish" time DT1 Change Log on: June 12, 2019, 07:43:13 PM
I've seen a couple of people wipe their lists today. Perhaps same thing happened with mikeywith?
He was wiped from the Trust lists of other DT1 members too.

Twelfth week paid. (I'm feeling better, thanks.)
Punctial as always, thanks!

It might have been contagious after all, somehow I got it now Sad
19419  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request support for Flags here! on: June 12, 2019, 05:39:15 PM
How about someone who is advertising to sell bitcointalk accounts on a locked thread. Do they also apply in this case?
Assuming you haven't been scammed, you can use the Newbie warning Flag for those:
Quote
Due to various concrete red flags, I believe that anyone dealing with this user has a high risk of losing money. (This flag will only be shown to guests/newbies.)
