1961  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: My Plan if ever happens again ATH on: November 29, 2020, 01:08:33 PM

It might take a long time pa rin, mahirap din iasume na ngayong 2020 na mangyayari ang ATH, pweding next year or after 2-3 years at magstay lang around 15k$-20k$ ang presyo.
1962  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ANO SA TINGIN NINYO KABAYAN, XRP and Bitcoin ATH na ba or May BIG WAVE pa? on: November 28, 2020, 11:59:28 PM

1963  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the biggest issue for beginners ? on: November 28, 2020, 11:30:49 PM
What is the biggest issue facing you as a beginner in crypto ?

The biggest issue I guess for beginners is being so greedy, most of the beginners in crypto tend to be so greedy in crypto thinking that it is just so easy to earn a profit here.

That is why a lot of beginners are getting scam on a lot of platforms because they are greedy to earn an easy profit, and don't have enough experience in earning so they don't know how the market works yet.

Also getting into crypto without having enough knowledge is also a thing that is why beginners get greedy, beginners should realize that it is not so easy to earn to do that they need knowledge, research about crypto on their own, and also get the experience it.
1964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dangers of buying bitcoin thru Paypal - real life example on: November 28, 2020, 04:00:35 PM
According to this reddit post by u/TheCoolDoc, his account gets banned by Paypal and then limited because of too much activity, buying/selling bitcoin in a week.

I let your read the rest of the story.

In any case though be reminded, "Not your keys, not your coins". So anytime this centralised services can either ban you or selectively close your account, and not good if you have some funds on it.

This is a big disadvantage of using a custodial wallet like Paypal and at the same time Paypal was just getting started in crypto so maybe they don't know what to do if their users are buying and selling crypto means Paypal is possibly losing profit here.

In my experience in using a custodial wallet, I mean it's not really that bad as long as you do KYC and everything it's very unlikely to encounter any issue when it comes to your account but still, the possibility of freezing your account is always there.

Most of the custodial wallet does this thing when the market price of bitcoin is pumping they are limiting the transaction because it just means they could lose profit here which is really a bad thing for us and makes you feel that you don't have control to your own wallet. It also happened to me in a different custodial wallet they disable to sell your bitcoin when the market price is so high.
1965  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Eto na! nagsisimula na! on: November 28, 2020, 12:33:44 PM
Bitcoin's price keeps on falling down. As of this moment eh $16,967 na lamang ito. Yeah maaaring maganda pa rin itong point sa pag hodl but be cautious kasi baka sa kahahangad mo ng mas mataas na price eh lalo kang mawalan. Always bear in mind your entrance and exit points. But if I were you guys, magdump na kayo. Find contentment and abang na lang ulit for next big thing Grin.

1966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: November 27, 2020, 11:59:38 PM
Bitcoin price always changable no one can predicted it correctl.Today i chack the bitcoin price so what's happen end of this year? Please share your experience

The market price is going up and down and I'm not really sure what gonna happened in the coming months in the market price of bitcoin.

It's hard to say that the market price is not gonna pump because of the limited supply of bitcoin, the market price would always gonna be valuable and will increase its market price in the future.

And yes, it's hard to predict the market because there are so many factors that affect the market price and you also don't know if the market would continue to increase so it's always a gamble. Still touching the 19k$ market price could always mean profit to a lot of investors so having pumps and dumps means profit so volatility is not always a disadvantage.
1967  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Watch out for Crypto Faucets! on: November 27, 2020, 03:00:10 PM
There are few legitimate Crypto Faucet websites for earning very small amounts of crypto, but watch out for many scams asking you to pay or deposit anything.
One of them is in this forum QoinPro.com - Free BTC, DOGE, LTC, FTC, VTA every 24 hours automatically
People did their tasks, but they received nothing after they requested withdrawals, and website was not working at all.

Never deposit any coins to faucets, never trust them, and don't expect to earn coins from faucets.

Faucets are really popular back in the day and somehow could profitable claiming every time it's available and I guess most of the people do not really recommend this as a thing in crypto since it might just be a waste of time.

Most of the gambling websites have these Crypto Faucets and a needed deposit could just be normal to activate your account in a gambling website or exchange.

But I guess you don't really need to take the risk depositing in this kind of website since there is a high chance that this could be a scam, if the faucet is just what you want no need to deposit funds in the website at all.
1968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 27, 2020, 01:42:16 PM
Anyone who was into crypto this time 3 years ago
will remember the run up to the ATH of $19783.

It was a wild time in December of that year, there
were big gains made and alternatively a lot of losses
where some people FOMO'd in close to the ATH
and either sold at a loss or are still holding what they
had back then.

How many had the forsight to HODL what they had
for the next bull market, which is now?

I would say, not many!

Eventhough we (the positive) have been preaching
about the long haul and a look to the future.

These times are proof that when you buy high, not panic and HODL for the future is rewarding

Its really difficult to read what gonna happened in the market in the coming months, especially if you're holding a high amount of investment it's really tempting to sell your holding at this times because it could be a more profit or the market price could also go dump and then your gonna need to wait for another 2-5 years again before the market price of bitcoin could increase or pump again in the market.

Most people could assume that the market price of bitcoin is just gonna continue to increase in the coming years just because of the supply of bitcoin and mining bitcoin more difficult than before. But it could take years or a long time for that to happened and it might not be worth waiting considering the time of investment.

But it still depends because there are so many investments or businesses that could give you more profit in 2-5years than just waiting in crypto investment.

1969  Economy / Speculation / Re: who believes that the price of BTC high next month? on: November 25, 2020, 11:38:30 PM
Will the bitcoin really go up to  25,000 dollars next month? As far as I've read and know the Btc information. As far as i'm I think the Bitcoin price will go up to  22,000$. what is your opinion?

The market price of bitcoin just keeps on bubble up and at t his moment it's already close to 19,000$ in just a small amount of time.

At this moment it's hard to assume that the market price of bitcoin is not gonna pump in the coming months, and it's already closed to 20k$ it just needs a little bit more pump in the market to reach and possibly pass the current ATH in the market.

I guess saving your bitcoin is the thing to do at this moment or cutting your expenses, investing at this moment is not ideal because it's already late to make a profit since we don't really know if it's gonna reach the ATH. But your not really gonna lose your bitcoin if you're not going to sell it so if your planning a long term investment bitcoin is one of the best investment that you could always take.
1970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Lived In London While Working On Bitcoin + proof on: November 25, 2020, 10:40:53 PM
Very interesting to know these kinds of things about Satoshi Nakamoto," working until the early hours of the morning and sleeping until noon ".

I guess we could assume that maybe Satoshi Nakamoto lived in London?  but I guess most of the things about him doesn't matter anymore at this time. And it will be difficult to assume or prove that someone is Satoshi Nakamoto if he is still alive, and it would not change anything in bitcoin, I think he just made the bitcoin like this so that it would function even without Satoshi.

1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: November 24, 2020, 05:46:07 PM
Bitcoin as a Decentralized Cryptocurrency has no physical structure just like the bank. It’s basically stored in a digital wallet/account being operated from a mobile device and its security embedded there also. In creating Defi wallet or block chain account no available section for next of kin or third party details Its always advised to keep Recovery Phrase details secret  in save location, these will help in recovering the wallet.

Literally bitcoin details remain secret and personal to me. If I continue to keep my details secret of what use would it be to me when I’m no more and my love ones can’t benefit from my bitcoin? Here is my question what happens to the bitcoin of someone who died and didn’t disclose his/her wallet details to anyone? please I need response . Would the bitcoin be abandoned in the wallet forever?? Would it be a waste of bitcoin?

The topic is already discussed in the forum, If you die your bitcoin is probably lost if you're the only one who knows the private key of the wallet.

So you probably need to write it out at some point for your family especially if you're holding a big amount of investment in your wallet so that your family could recover it. There is some wallet where it might allow your family to recover your bitcoin, but most of the wallets still not have this feature because anonymity is a thing in crypto.

On the other hand, it's a good thing for investors since it will lower the supply of bitcoin the would make the market price of bitcoin pump.

1973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next big thing in Bitcoin/Crypto? on: November 23, 2020, 11:56:36 PM
Somethings I remember generating a lot of excitement at first.
Mining, when it could still be done with graphics cards and early mining machines.
Gambling, the early sites SatoshiDice and later Just-Dice had huge followings.  Looks like there is still a lot of crypto gambling just split up over many more sites now.
The early Altcoins such as Dogecoin and Huntercoin.
Tokens and Dapps made possible with Ethereum.
Earlier Tokens with the airdrops were very profitable.
Dapps looked very promising at first, not sure they've lived up to it yet.

What do you think is next?

I guess reaching the ATH of bitcoin could be the next big thing in crypto this time.

Reaching the ATH of bitcoin is difficult and we could really notice a lot of resistance in the market price around 10k$ -18k$ but still, the market price is close to reaching the 19k$ price.

It is possible to have a lot of adaptation in the cryptocurrency just like what Paypal did in the past month trying to adopt to cryptocurrency.

Or something like a new technology could also be created that is more superior to bitcoin.
1974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bring back the Bitcoin FUN during this ATH period :-> on: November 22, 2020, 10:13:17 PM
It's always fun to have puzzle and quiz games and it's really popular on a lot of platforms, a lot of people are interested in solving it but it's quite difficult to solve.

I guess we could always bring back these times and still the ATH of bitcoin is not yet reach, it's still critical and most of the investors are still holding to their investment in my opinion.

I remember a high reward on a puzzle on twitter and it almost looks like impossible to be solved. Grin
1975  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: November 22, 2020, 08:52:40 PM
In the next bull run, Do you also believe that XRP will reach this high or do you think that this is impossible?
Are you one of those crypto investors that dislike XRP because it is centralized and most prefered to invest in other cryptos like bitcoin and ethereum?

As the article said:
"It is believed that crypto investors dislike XRP because it is arguably more centralized than Bitcoin or Ethereum."

Source: XRP Price Could Reach $14 Breaking Out from Two-Year Bear Market

1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real purpose of Bitcoin on: November 22, 2020, 07:59:55 PM
When you talk about Bitcoin first thing which most of us thinks either it's a get rich quick scheme or an investment scheme. Did Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin as an investment scheme? No, it was supposed to be a peer to peer payment transaction across borders without involvement expensive money exchangers or regulators but it has been turned into an investment scheme, where are we heading ? Do you think Bitcoin is losing its original purpose of its invention?

I get your point since Bitcoin was created as a digital currency but people are not really using it as a mode of payment, I mean it was used as a mode of payment in some transactions but most of the time it is used in investing. Personally, I think that bitcoin is best when it comes to investment and most people could agree because of the high potential profit of it. And as a digital currency, yes it can be used but still but reliable than a fiat currency because the value of fiat money depends on the country that regulates it compared to the bitcoin that has a volatile value.

For me, it's not losing its purpose still but for now, bitcoin value is just so volatile and its best used was for investment, It is still in the process to become a digital currency.
1977  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: yubikey security on: November 22, 2020, 04:18:49 PM
I don't have experience when it comes to Yubikey, but as far as I know, this kind of hardware 2FA authentication is great and recommended when it comes to security.

You cannot log-in to your account or pass the 2FA authentication without the YubiKey hardware so it's just a layer of protection, I mean people have a positive review and we still don't know if the hardware could be bypass.

But if the hardware works perfectly it's great for security since it could avoid even if they could spoof your IP or clone browser they still cannot open your account since they don't have this hardware.
1978  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help on: November 22, 2020, 04:08:35 PM
Hi guys. I ask for your help. I have Bitcoins on one exchange, but I cannot withdraw them, because there is a withdrawal limit for 1 ip. Anyone who helps yes 10%. My telegram @g_nar

I never encounter a withdrawal limit in my account or in exchange but if the IP is the problem you could always use a VPN to change your IP.

You might be wrong so check the exchange there might be some requirements before you could make a withdrawal in the exchange, some exchange required a certain amount of transaction before making a withdrawal.

The exchange support could always be helpful when you have issues withdrawing your funds in exchange.
1979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: November 21, 2020, 08:15:11 PM
In recent time i noticed such thing that in every new project or old project announced meme contest. Where they give such big amount in community for making memes about their project . Now what do you think is this memes really can attract investors?

For sure meme is not something that could make a lot of impact to a cryptocurrency like for example bitcoin or other altcoins, but for sure there are some good memes that become trending in some social media platform that maybe help a little bit when it comes to the token or the project.

Some projects or websites announced a meme contest but I guess the exposure is what helps the project to become a success, and not really the memes. And at some point, you cannot present the memes to attract investors to invest in a specific project it is more like just an advertisement thingy.

Investors are very brilliant people and things like this wouldn't attract them since they have very deep humor about money.
1980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how add security to our bitcoin ? on: November 21, 2020, 04:24:53 PM
Hello,

i don't know bitcoin very well but i have money in btc on coinbase. I am not sure have money on coinbase is very secure. What do you think about it ? Is there a way for have bitcoin with security because i scared coinbase block my account or give information on how much money i have on it, i think it is not very anonymous

Using a custodial wallet like coinbase is not the best wallet when it comes to security since they are not decentralized they could pretty much do anything to your investment, Just like what you said they could block your account or freeze your account at any moment.

If you really want to secure your bitcoin you should first choose a wallet that offers a private key to it like for example Electrum, Mycelium, etc. and then from that, you could use another layer of security to secure your wallet like hardware, 2FA authentication, etc.

Electrum:
