As usual new highs will lead to new digging. Will be interesting to see how this cycle plays out.

Really interesting! A coin with no real use, that is only traded in a single exchange that has raised in price a lot in the last months, should crash very hard, or has something under the sleeve.

Until recently (liquidation) it was also traded on cryptopia. And still on yobit. Maybe someday they will fix their wallet, who knows.

With enough activity, some other exchanges may pick it up.

What to do in our coin in Cryptopia ? Im fucked there now. Any body from Clam team try to reach them please?

"Given the complexities involved we expect the investigation to take months rather than weeks" https://www.cryptopia.co.nz

Sit and wait

Basically, they reopened deposits and pwned a few more fools on the way out.

Redic.

Most deposits including CLAM were not opened. The few wallets that were open (BTC and a few others) were also open for withdraws. It doesn't look at all that scammy, just disorganized.

Ah, sounds like a clusterfuck.

And if something like this can raise that big, then other alts with more "value" will raise a lot too!

Hope you're right.

(Agree Smooth, we've been thinking about rebuilding the digger lately.)

Hello! Changelly is here:) In case you are in touch with CLAM representatives, please forward this form for listing: https://goo.gl/forms/cVlP8mRq8033pIDA3. Our team will familiarize with the info and contact CLAM community once we decide to partner. Thanks!

Looks like scam.

Form is not hosted at the Changelly website, using generic google drive storage, typos...
Probably would require "deposit" for listing and run away.

"Is it a utility asset? *

SURELY this has to be a scam account?HuhHuh

I've got a number of CLAM withdraws with txid's that aren't "real".  I don't even know how to explain it tbh.  It's weird.

Is it that they look like txids but don't appear on the network, or are they totally bogus?

Any answer to this?

Bogus from what I hear from X... I personally don't pay that much attention.  As long as I get my coins eventually.

Sometimes they stay the same when they actually send and sometimes they change, but that's reason enough to say "bogus" I guess(?)

Can the dev help to ad clamcoin unlike shapeshift they don't have KYC   https://twitter.com/SimpleSwap_io/status/1103421887642849282

Check out FreeBitcoins.com/swap.

I own it.

Max CLAM Deposit 1.32863171 this is sort of pointless. Now stuck with clams and nowhere to trade, cryptopia has no volume

The amount range and are constantly updated.  Right now you can sell 50-70 CLAMS, but if someone uses that liquidity... it may take 30 minutes for it to "reset".

AKA if the amount is low, check back.  We also have an API for automated traders.

In case anyone is wondering I did a small test depositing to and withdrawing from Poloniex and both worked, albeit with some odd and unexplained delays. Can't guarantee it will always work, of course.

I just got withdraws that I've been waiting on for a few days this morning.

Probably means their CLAM wallet worked for other folks waiting.

Great news, and I'll poke Changelly like crazy.

I'll shoot them a message too.

There are over 400 BTC on the bid at Poloniex... I expect we get a new exchange this month or some other news.  Someone is buying CLAM for a reason.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: May 10, 2019, 08:20:42 PM
What is the best decentralized exchange for clams at the moment?  Shapeshift is down, godex is down, and sadly free bitcoins isn't exchanging clam for BTC other than micro.  I would love to see clams on Changelly, but never have.

Thanks in advance fam!

Right now the best method for cashing out CLAMS is Poloniex for sure.  We need more selling pressure there anyways.

FreeBitcoins.com stuff will grow again and the books will be larger soon.  The more people that use us, the more money we put back into our system, the larger we grow + the more tests we get on our new system.  It's good to support good folks even if it is micro atm.  I've had at least 5 support tickets claiming to want to sell over 2000 CLAMS ish with Freebitcoins </3... but I'd rather reject the trade than have someone upset waiting on us.

I really think right now is a good time for the Clammunity to try to approach Changelly again... that could be something you can do!  Don't wait for others.

They require 400 confirmations to be "safe" and they just had a sketchy hack. Like hippie said, but failed to mention.  https://www.chepicap.com/en/news/8945/cryptopia-reopening-of-deposits-withdrawals-sees-flood-of-new-volume.html  (Sees a flood of traffic... right!!!!!!!! lol god)

If you want to use a market that forces your privacy, https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_clam is the only "real" market atm for CLAMS.  Polo has lots of problems going in and out that can cause you to have serious wait times. "They" have given them the fix and are hopefully waiting for them to implement them.

It has been 11 days now since I made withdraw of CLAM from Poloniex
So, something is not right.

My personal recent experience, the clam deposit I made took 6 hours or so but the btc withdrawal was near instant. Not exactly what you are referring to but proof enough that at least some of their related systems are working.

Polo recent has gotten worse again sadly.

God scared me, I didn't remember saying that... but then I realized that you were trying to say it's been 11 days.

Welcome to the club.

Like bitcoin can take 30 minutes or more sometimes for a transaction
How long do clam transactions take on average or maximum?
I have been waiting for Poloniex transaction to my clam wallet for 72 hrs.
Polo says, as soon as a miner picks up the transaction, I will see it.

This seems like an awfully long time.
Is this accurate?

Look up MT Gox, Vircurex, Cryptsy ect... they all had the same problems before they got "hacked"..
NoobAreaCoins is a longtime cryptoFIAT shill .. you will find may similar posts by him and/or others saying "everything is OK" with regard to the other scam exchanges..

(I own FreeBitcoins.com and Xploited [CLAM creator] works on the it)

I am a shill, but at least for my own shit and upfront.  I prefer ShillAreaCoins, but whatever.

Giving buyers that are privacy-aware access to buy CLAMS hasn't hurt anything.  Climbing fast too.

You Can buy Clam here :

I do not believe their CLAM wallet is working either (last I checked).  You can allegedly withdraw BTC.

I would be EXTREMELY careful with a market that you can't even withdraw to be higher than a market you can withdraw from (Poloniex).  Edit: Cryptopia clams are 0.00123898 and Poloniex 0.00182150, this seems right because you can't withdraw the CLAMS off Cryptopia with their sketchy hack.

Swap gets people in and out with limited headache thus far because we use our own wallets to promise a trade.

Try all 3 and let us know how they compare!

No, Poloniex is fucked up... but they eventually get it right.  We are having problems as well with a few transactions.  Open a support ticket and just wait it out.

Freebitcoins.com/swap is much faster and skips poloniex withdraws for small clam buyers.

Yobit CLAM wallets are "in maintenance" but trading is $3 compared to polo $8
Are coins safe?

YoBit is a scam from as far as I can see.  I remember watching the volume on their games and thinking "no fucking way" too.

I think it is safe to assume coins there are not safe.

We have reached out to them and have gotten no response for a very long time.
