If you don't want buy on exchanges or with localbitcoins, then you can go to games and round to get your first mBTC from giveaways. Way better than faucets.

Signature campaigns are always a good suggestion. If you have the time, try and build up your Primedice faucet (link in my signature). it isn't consistent like posting, but it can earn you a good amount. Got me 0.075 today.
How did you get 0.075 from the faucet in one day? Shocked

Guess happy hour + fuckton of luck on the dices
1962  Other / Meta / Re: Recieve message when topic moved? on: August 17, 2014, 09:52:18 PM
Doesn't all the moved topics appear in gray as MOVED: <topic tittle> at least for a while?
1963  Other / Meta / Re: So... how do you deal with a problem-child? on: August 17, 2014, 09:48:12 PM
The trust system is not moderated, so only way to get rid of negative trust is reaching an agreement with whoever gave you negative trust. Mods won't interfere, if it is what you looking for.
1964  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Bitcointalk Accounts 40% sale with proof of legit ownership. on: August 17, 2014, 09:40:31 PM
I guess I'll buy the full member, PM me.
Look few posts above yours and be sure to use escrow as OP seems to have turned rogue.
Best not to trade with user until he clarifies his position on what happened in that trade...

Strange, because he made some deals without escrow and with no problems.

Hope no one gets gumbled again
1965  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 17, 2014, 09:29:21 PM
Changes are coming to the signature campaign. Will work on getting payments sent within next 12 hours and then make an announcement once I've decided what I'd like to adjust. Will update main post in twelve hours.

Announcements announcing another announcement in X time is enough to make me worried for X time.

Hope you can find a good deal to everyone.

And I think it will be the fastest payout ever made by PD
1966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 15, 2014, 06:57:12 AM
It's sad and annoying to see that this big drop wasn't enough for some people. They try to push us further down.
If it's up to these idiots they'd take us down to 10 dollars. They don't care if they destroy the whole Bitcoin economy in the process.

There is no reason to sell anymore at the moment. Those who wanted to sell did so already. The pressure is gone.
This is pure manipulation and idiot sheep following, afraid of another crash.

Bitcoin won't die because of some falls, otherwise it would be dead already.

We came from the 400's not long time ago, if can't remember
1967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rate of retail adoption causing falls? on: August 15, 2014, 06:51:01 AM
Banking fine not sinking in public eyes = people willing to buy stuff even when it is not absolutely necessary. Then they will buy stuffs with the hoarded bitcoin they have, after all everything is safe and they can get more money to rebuy the Bitcoin anyway.

Banks failing = people see that their money is not safe on banks, and they will see all the holes is the economic system, then go to bitcoin to protect themselves, not to buy things they don't really need.

Think that was what he meant with the tweet.
1968  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 15, 2014, 06:20:36 AM

Also, are we exploring an option of paying out people in a crypto-currency of their choice, this might be a winner!

PrimeDice only accepts Bitcoin deposits, so I guess no way to pay in other cryptos.

Also people are abusing the fact that posts here are paid too, so I would either self-moderate this thread to remove all non-essential post or just make posts made in this thread not claimable.

Also the best way to reduce "spam"(= too much money going to signature camaign, as I can see by Stunna's overall attitude) is at least for a moment close the doors for new guys, then try new ideas and make a purge on the spam guys.

I'm not sure if split the group among pay per post people and pay by referral people might be the best, because it might create some  animosity among the users.
1969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBay Payments Unit in Talks to Accept Bitcoin on: August 15, 2014, 06:09:53 AM
Coincidence we get cheap coins just before the news?

I don't think so.

At least we have some light to the end of the downwards in price.
1970  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favourite TV show? on: August 15, 2014, 06:04:41 AM

1971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fallling is a troll, but expect $500-$470 in a few weeks anyway on: August 14, 2014, 07:36:07 AM
Seems like we already lost the 530's.

The 520's are the last resistance we have before a plunge of -$100 in really little time(see OPs 3th graph).

Yes, we are about to have a falllling.
1972  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new,looking to start mining. on: August 14, 2014, 07:20:03 AM
I recommend start slow, learn, and grab some cheap stuff while Bitcoin is cheap. Maybe a s1 to start?

Also take a look in the mining section of this forum, guess more likely to get answers.
1973  Other / Meta / Re: how to recover my forum password on: August 14, 2014, 07:13:44 AM
I have forgoten my forum password, i am still logged in so is there a way i can set-up a new password without using the old one, or if i try and guess it becauce i have a idea what it could be would it lock me out if wrong?

Post somewhere your bitcoin address, if you haven't done already, then follow the instructions:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

But can take some time, so if you can remember or see the saved passwords of your browser it is better
1974  Other / Meta / Re: New legendary rank? on: August 14, 2014, 07:11:01 AM
Then people will start to mass farm accounts only to drive the requeriments for higher ranks lower. You supposing people will be honest and don't try to manipulate the system, what might not be true

Not sure where you get the idea from that this will be so easy. I've seen a few accounts that very obviously are linked to a posting bot. Those posts seem to be reported (and deleted) rather quickly usually.

And if the automated approach should work, then what prevents them from using it to "farm" for high rank accounts directly (in a fixed requirement rank system).

All that said, the deviation defined rank idea looks very nice to me and has a certain nerdy appeal, but in reality, it's not really worth the effort probably. Introducing a new rank each 2 years with about twice the activity requirement is a hack, but an acceptable one imo.

But with the variance stuff, the requeriments for ranks will change every time, so many will be in one position, and next hour in another, then back the the starting one, and so for.

Will generate lots of complains and will be a pain to signature campaigns.
1975  Other / Off-topic / Re: Favorite Creepypastas? on: August 14, 2014, 07:04:58 AM
I like the SCP foundation.

Not sure if they can be considered a creepypasta
1976  Economy / Speculation / Re: don't be stupid, stick to the fundamentals and ignore the short term volatility on: August 12, 2014, 10:51:30 PM
precious metals and crypto currencies are the only things in the world that can be money, simply because you can't easily create more of them and they store alot of purchasing power in a compact package.
banks printing fiat money and arbitrarily investing it are causing the misallocation of resources, shifting production resources from goods people really want to crap nobody needs.
their central planning experiment will destroy the fiat economy before the end of this decade.
jump off the titanic and get on the bitcoin life boat, its going to be rough...

Banks in general can't print money, only the central bank can.

Also the modern conception of money envolves it being backed by a central bank that will be responsable to emission of the coin. So silver and gold, or bitcoin, can't be considered money in the modern sense.

Also where are the fundamentals about the bitcoin's moon mission? If we take your speak as true, then gold and silver can very well replace bitcoin as money, so there is no warranty of bitcoin not going to 0.

Hope it helps you, and that more people decide to make academic studies on BTC
1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most underrated alt coins out there. on: August 12, 2014, 10:38:12 PM
The most underrated crypto is Bitcoin, should be 1k+ at least.

Other cryptos have what they deserve or more, in my opinion.
1979  Other / Meta / Re: New legendary rank? on: August 12, 2014, 10:29:02 PM
Is there anything after Legendary? Like "Epic"? Actually that should be between Hero and Legendary.

Not yet.

Maybe some years from now, when there will be enough users near 2k posts. For some reasons the next ranking requires more or less 2x more activity than the previous ones, and I doubt it will change in the future.
1980  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Earn 0.00002970 Bitcoin For One Hour on: August 12, 2014, 10:17:15 PM
Try Primedice's happy hours, 10k satoshis every minute, but you can't withdraw below 50k satoshis and can't claim if your balance is 10k or less, so you will need to gamble.

Last time I managed to get 1 mBTC in less than 20 min.

And the happy hours are announced only on facebook.
