1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling on real gaming equipment: Testing technology on: February 05, 2020, 12:01:39 AM
Why not? As you have said, it is still on the testing stage. So you can always try and find out if it will gonna be successful at the end. Honestly, crowdfunding and doing it in this way like using real gaming equipment is somewhat unique for me. But it is possible, if this idea of yours turn out well, then many online gambling owners may somehow envy and do the same. If the proposed protocol of yours do not have any problems, I can see success from this plan.
1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins do you Hold ? on: February 04, 2020, 06:26:51 AM
Tying to trade affordable coins and cheap altcoins before so I have bought IOST, Doge coin etc. But now, majority of my investments were diversified in just 4 coins. Mainly BTC, ETH, XRP and BCH. Im doing good profits so far with that four coins I am holding. Nothing wrong to hold some coins even not in the top list coins in CMC. But now, I mostly prefer  those coins that were well established and reputable ones and I have proved that  those coins that I am holding right now is worth to hold.
1963  Economy / Gambling / Re: recouver ur coins from sites dice on: February 04, 2020, 04:14:02 AM
What is this? We have to send you some funds to play with? And yeah, at the end of the day the house always win and we are talking gambling here so there is no assurance that you will gonna recover all your loses. So how come you can recover "our" losses by investing our own money? Lets say we give you 1 btc, how can you guarantee us about the returns? Seems a bit suspicious to me .
1964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote bitcoin through any means. It'll work! on: February 04, 2020, 03:23:02 AM
Even not in social media, wearing some tshirts with the word "Bitcoin" has also a big impact to the people who aren't aware yet about it. And yeah, even having some simple things like keychains with the word or engrave bitcoin is useful too. But just like what I have said before, we conducted  seminar together with my brother firstly within the family members for the awareness of this new technology. We can start promoting btc within the family first, it's a fulfilling feeling to know that the family members seems very optimistic about bitcoin.
1965  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coinbase use can't withdraw more than $10 a day on: February 04, 2020, 01:45:17 AM
$10 is not that much pero since I have read the link that you have provided, it was adaily withdrawal limit by a user. Pwede naman palang mag apply pa ng higher withdrawal limit. In that user's case, it has been denied by the Coinbase which gain so many bashes from other coinbase users about their service. Im not sure about there protocol pero $10 is too small even for a new accounts. Sana ay taasan nila ito.
1966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 04, 2020, 12:07:53 AM
I didn't saved everyday for bitcoin. The suck reality which really makes me a fool. Maybe if we have same mindset like that like saving up $1 everyday, we can have our own bitcoin by now after so many years. But honestly, that is not my thinking. Although, I am still doing some savings in my wallet in a weekly basis but I have also an aim of having one whole btc even if not by saving up daily.

We can still own bitcoin even if not on that everyday type of savings, money management and a sincere purpose shall be imposed to achieve what we are aiming for, and that is to have bitcoin.
1967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Crypto on: February 03, 2020, 07:04:51 AM
I am really thinking about investing over $15000 of my savings into Bitcoin. Would this be wise? Is BTC safe and stable at this point and this time?

Rather than asking us if it would be nice.
Ask yourself, "Am I ready for the consequences? Am I ready to gain or to lose?"
And if you think, you are confident enough to enter bitcoin trading. Go invest and buy bitcoin. There is no guaranteed that this time is a safe time for investment. But if you can patiently wait and will not be panic whenever the price will decrease, go proceed and have a courage.

Anyway, a piece of advice. If there is even a tiny doubt on your mind, i dont think you are ready to invest all your $15,000 to bitcoin.
1968  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm trapped in trading on: February 03, 2020, 04:09:13 AM
You are not the only one, bro. I have always experienced the same before hoping that my coins will still go up the way I am expecting it to be but rather, it went down and hard to pump or recover. I have learned my lesson now. So, what I usually do is to step a stop loss price for example in Binance if my coin reaches down to 3-5 %then that is the time I am going to sell if. At least, it saves up my big loss and even get out of the trap immediately.
1969  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / [Babala] Libra coin fake ICO on Twitter on: February 03, 2020, 02:46:46 AM
Galawang scammer nanaman po mga kababayan, alam naman natin na hindi pa officially launched ang libra coin. Ngunit may mga gumagamit nanaman nito sa maling paraan para mang biktima.

This latest issue-- LIBRA COIN that was already created by scammers! And yeah, they have managed to  already fund raised about 200 ethereum. (as they falsely claimed)

It is so sad that scammers already impersonated Libra project, created fake ICO to scam people and promoting it directly on Twitter.

Here's the few insight:

Quote
A Libra scam has appeared on Twitter to conduct a fake initial coin offering (ICO) of its coin LIBT. The account has existed on Twitter since 2018, but data from Etherscan has shown that the ERC20 token was created on Jan. 26. While the scammers claim more than 200 ETH has been raised privately, the address the investments were sent to shows that most of the incoming transactions were empty.

  • It was created this January 26, 2020. And give an image to convince investors that this is the relaunch of LIBT (Libra Token) as an ERC20 token.

  • And this one is obviously a "bonus-scam scheme" in which a user will send out .1 eth in exchange of 300 Libra coin. What a lame, it was an obvious scam act.

  • Another, this one of the transactions that shows they only raised a total of 3 ethereum only with the same address and not because they gained that 3 eth because of the public sale.

Quote from: SparkToro
More than 40 percent of @CoinLibraToken’s 12,000 followers are fake.

1970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Advices needed] Best learning materials and trading method for beginners. on: February 03, 2020, 12:14:42 AM
There is no consistent profits in trading. I mean, trading is hard to speculate and predict. The market is so volatile that even a good technical analysis and a good trader can be liquidated, too.
The only simple rule that I have learned is to, "Buy Low, Sell High". We thought it is just simple. But if we are on an actual trades, the question is how can we determined the right entry and exit? It's not simple.

I can only advice you to build foundation first about trading, technical analysis is a great help so please do some study about this before you can proceed in trading.

Hello fellow members!

As I have almost reached my  two year of being a bitcointalk member, there are so many things I have learned from the past. You see, I was a noob before. I've entered this forum with just only one word that I knew--"BITCOIN". Without further knowledge about what it is, how can it be used and so on.

From being a newbie, reading is my only choice to learn here. Vague words were being introduced to me in this forum but I tend to catch up little by little.

I will be very honest, I signed up here because I wanna follow my brother's step as a trader. He is my mentor but let me do some readings and build my foundation first in this forum. Whenever there are lack of understanding, this forum is my home to give me some essentials that I need.

I have learned so many things, one of those are:

  • To become useful in this forum community. I don't want to become newbie forever. That is why I made my choice to step forward, sharing helpful tips and informations about crypto that I think will be significant in this forum. If I will hide and be contented on being a newbie and member, there is no progress.

  • That there are many types of Traders. And being a trader needs many ingredients. I have learned how to manage my emotions, how to read charts and technical analysis, how to set stop loss. How to enter and exit in the right time.

  • That Learning is a Process. I don't consider myself knowedgeable enough. There are still new learnings everyday and this forum offers a lot if we want to know more about cryptocurrency. Length of stay here doesn't weigh how far your knowledge is.

1975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to monetize a bitcoin/cryptocurrency seminar/meeting? on: January 31, 2020, 08:47:03 AM
It wasn't wrong. Why would it be? Conducting seminar needs time, efforts, learnings. So it is up to the lecturer if you conduct it for free or not. Since they are very much interested with your lectures and want to step forward for the new trend bitcoin, you can actually set a date and find a place. You can give them invitations which it included the reasonable target payment. Anyway, it is just a suggestion. The decision is yours.
1976  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin ang future shitcoin ayon Kay Mcafee on: January 31, 2020, 07:13:58 AM
Hibang nalang siguro ang maniniwala kay John Mcafee. Hindi siya consistent sa mga sinasabi niya. At kung iisipin mo, bakit magiging shitcoin ang bitcoin samantalang namamayagpag ito ngayon, it is progressing and developing. More investors are choosing btc as an investment. Traders use btc and more Merchants are welcoming bitcoin payments. How could this Btc become shitcoin then kung napaka useful nito?
1977  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchanges are now potentially banning btc sent to a mixing/conjoin services on: January 31, 2020, 06:21:23 AM
Exchanges has been alarmed by increasingly used of bitcoin mixers by the purpose of illegal acts. We should respect exchange's platform in the first place. If one should insist of transferring btc to a btc mixer, then find another exchange that allowed it. Or you can simply transfer it to a personal digital wallet before transferring to a btc mixers. There's always a way. We knew that bitcoin mixers reputation nowadays was not that good because of the previous issues.
1978  Other / Archival / Re: Ever played at any of these casinos? on: January 31, 2020, 05:36:41 AM
I played some on the list. But I am more focused on playing in Stake, Primedice,Wolfbet and of course Bustadice. It is significant to choose a gambling site which has a good reputation and a good feedbacks, too. I have been playing from FortuneJack before, there are so many priviledge there like some other gambling sites but I enjoy betting and playing with the three gambling sites I have mentioned. You can also compare the house edge percentage of those sites, the advantages, bonus, etc.
1979  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is officially about to enter bull market, guys your thoughts... on: January 31, 2020, 01:19:32 AM
Yes, bull run is coming! Today btc's price is $9,500, this is actually a good sign after so much suffering from bear market I am positive now. The trend is going upward though I still see some small dumps in my technical analysis but hopefully it will continue to grow until $12,000. Let's see about that. Just don't expect too much. Afterall, this market is so volatile.
1980  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 Predictions For Cryptocurrencies In 2020 on: January 30, 2020, 10:06:24 AM
$20,000 is closest prediction that may possibly happen. Aside from that ATH that had mentioned from the link, of course Bitcoin halving is also one of the reasons for btc to reached that peak price.
Another thing,  China is very open and transparent about their upcoming launching of their very own crypto coin and it's  own CBDC. This will give a strong impact to the crypto market for sure.
