1961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is back ? on: September 21, 2015, 03:58:33 PM
OK wait ...
Yesterday Plural of Mongoose comes back with a bang after a 6 years silence and today there are Bitcoins from 2009 moving .... coincidence?

This fact is interesting, really really something is going to happen.
Maybe bitcoin will crash lol, i don't want to see at 2$ price.
@AGD may i know how did you upload gif to your avatar?
1962  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you use to check Potential activity ? on: September 21, 2015, 03:50:47 PM
You can also try this
http://www.visitorsbit.com/

Got the link from here
This site and bctalkaccountpricer.info have ads on it and I don't like to see ads on those sites (nor typing a captcha before checking). 0.001 BTC is just the signature payout for 1 post, and for signature posters, you can claim that amount back easily.
(There was also a free calculator on domain dzlatan.pw, however the domain have suspended)

Well let the guys earn something from these ads,
If you don't like them, install adblock and you will be ok.
I have disabled adblock in these websites visitorsbit.com and bctalkaccountpricer.info when i check the potential activity to support them a little bit.
1963  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: You will be shocked if leaving your BTC address on: September 21, 2015, 02:50:18 PM
Somebody has donated yesterday 0.01btc to this address.
https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/14SLDK7Y15UiPRD9TA7vuNqcvsJTj43XZ4
Let's see after 2 weeks what will happen Tongue

Maybe it's satoshi pranking us  Shocked

The donated amount of 0.01BTC it is not a huge amount of bitcoin that satoshi will "prank" us.

It's only two dollars but maybe it is one of his another address to make us believe that it "works".
1964  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: September 21, 2015, 02:40:58 PM

Really?  Think about this: If all signature campaigns were banned, would you still stay active on this forum?  I know 90% of the people currently in signature campaigns will not. :-/
But hey, I guess that's that for our current generation here on bitcointalk Tongue

Why sure. I've always been active making at least 14 posts a week before joining a signature campaign. The reason that I'm very active in BCT is because I'm a huge Bitcoin fan. Ever since I got into Bitcoin, I've got fascinated by its decentralized nature. So, even if all campaigns were banned I would still contribute to this forum.  Cheesy

Me too - I've been on Bitcointalk since 2010, and only signed up to a sig campaign a few weeks back. Having said that, I suspect you and I are very much the minority - and for that reason I'd be hesitant to ban sig campaigns. They seem to attract people to the forum, and through that people are learning about Bitcoin. I don't know whether mass adoption is possible (or necessary for Bitcoin's future success), but I do believe that more people learning about (and using!) BTC is a positive thing, despite the "endless September" vibe that the sig campaigns seem to have generated!

Inside the forum this is the best way ti earn bitcoins.
If there will be no signature campaign i speculate that there will be -90% overall the activity of the forum members.
Signature Campaign attract people to learn more about bitcoin and spread over the world.
1965  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: September 21, 2015, 02:34:59 PM

Through my logic that should be equal.
But what if i don't spend any money( i don't do any transaction that month).
Will i still pay the 1$ fee for SMS even if 0 SMS will arrive to me.

1967  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Block Explorer do you use ? on: September 21, 2015, 01:31:54 PM
Blockchain.info is considered one of the worst website for me. They have a bad record of accepting invalid transaction and this could potentially lead to attacks like double spending when accepting payments via their API. I prefer blocktrail.com as they have a better uptime and UI. The most important thing is probably the priority calculation, this would be beneficial for people making transactions with 0 fees and aids in the estimation.

That's true as a wallet blockchain is not preferably.
I have seen many reports here that mention the problem of double spending.
But as a explorer i use both blockchain and blocktrail.
1968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: September 21, 2015, 12:46:20 PM
Quote
May i know the name of your local exchange.
I see that it is much better to have a local exchange especially when you know the owner.
At my country there is no local exchange neither the community know much about bitcoin lol.
Which country are you from? I also trust my local exchange but we have 3 exchanges, I only trust 1. The one have legal issues and the other has no volume depth.
I'm from indonesia. My local exchange is bitcoin.co.id. The owner is Oscar Darmawan.
Bitcoin community is growing fast at my country. Until now registred user in exchange is 75216 member.
Even the volume in not really much compare to other. But i trust this exchange than other.

Wow that is huge exchange with 75,216 members.
Anyway it is far away from me geographically but the service seems to be good.
I wish one big exchange like that in my country soon, but the most important part is that you trust them.
1969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 21, 2015, 12:43:03 PM
OP since you are high rank member, i recommend you join sig campaigns, it's risk free, and make decent money per month.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
---
So in theory you can make 0.48btc for a month if you are a good poster(100 constructive posts per week). Maybe they will add u bonus if you are really awesome poster.

One way you are good, this is the best opportunity in the forum.
In the other way OP is asking basically "Where to invest to grow the bitcons"
Nowadays it has been hard to find any service, many of these are closing fast.
1970  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin ATM locator was released today on App Store on: September 21, 2015, 11:52:02 AM
This app looks like a total plagiarism from our iOS app we released a while ago. Pretty sure the app is using our free API.
The most ridiculous thing is that these guys are trying to sell it, and we provide it for free, and also our apps don't have any ads. The most important thing for us is user-experience.

CoinATMRadar has the most up-to-date data on bitcoin ATMs nowadays and all this updated data is used in both iOS and Android apps.
Everything is provided free of charge.

Here is a link to free iOS app: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/coinatmradar/id944855781

And here is a free Android version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinatmradar.android&hl=en

You can also use our website http://coinatmradar.com/, where there are many details about bitcoin ATMs, including user's feedback.
Check it before visiting the location and you can save a lot of time.

It is really unfair using someone else free API and sell it.
Is is a good opportunity that your mobile application is free,
What will you do, reporting it seems that will bring any result, or just maybe changing the API ?
1971  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: HonestDoubler.com - GAME OVER on: September 21, 2015, 11:43:46 AM
Seems that this service has been ended.
Does anybody has pending balance there, or has anyone lost any bitcoin inside there.
Hopefully i didn't invested there.
1972  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: September 21, 2015, 11:28:58 AM

A good research is always needed when you want to use a service.
Especially for long-term (at least 3 years) which then the card expires.
I'm waiting for gosha's reply too, maybe they need to update their website because it's confusing.
agree about good research.
All shown here: https://www.e-coin.io/bitcoin-debit-card-fees-and-limits

If there is something we've missed, please, let us know

It's ok now, i thought that we should pay two dollars one for sms and one for monthly fee.

If i don't made any transaction, and no sms is received, do i have to pay still pay the SMS monthly fee?
1973  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Walmart Gift Cards - $10, $20 or higher - 40% rate on: September 20, 2015, 09:13:47 PM
Yep, to put it into perspective, someone used Purse.io to trade his BTC for an item on his wishlist. He ended up with a visit from police and an accusation of theft because whoever bought it for him was carding. IIRC it was like $10k in legal fees for him to finally put it behind him, but helps understand the risks.

I have read that story too, it is so pity to hear these days especially from purse.io which is a great service but very risky.
I see that the item that i want to buy is also on newegg, will find someone if there is any chance to get it cheaper...
Btw there is still no news from the OP, seems he has left, also on skype he is away for many days now.
1974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is back ? on: September 20, 2015, 09:07:08 PM
maybe these coins belong to someone else.
who could be possibly belong too. no one else knew about btc in the 20first days

Maybe the satoshi nakamoto is selling his first bitcoins or trading in other coins???,

Something will happen maybe in near future, i am just speculating but this has a message for us.
1975  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Walmart Gift Cards - $10, $20 or higher - 40% rate on: September 20, 2015, 09:04:34 PM
It has been passed more than 3 days since i talked with OP,
Still no new about my order (vouch), i think it is taking more that i thought,
He has no been online for 2 days now, but in another forum he was active yesterday.
I wrote at his skype but still no answer maybe it's better to wait.

Yeah, I have the feeling they aren't coming back. Just hope nobody threw money to them. If they're disappearing for days at a time, that's not a good show of confidence for the future.

I haven't thrown any money to him yet.
Even though i am highly interested in his service.
I just required a vouch but seems that will not be good if he delay it, at least saying that is not ready now lol.

I'm 99% sure these are carded/hacked accounts he's using to get the codes, so if you do get one from him and use it, it ends up being tracked back to you if you use it online. They can also do the same in store (same as how they catch people using fake money).

He told me that he cracked these accounts,
But yeah you are right and maybe it would be a good step for me to stay away from these illegal things.
I just wanted to get something virtual but it can be tracked and i don't want to get in trouble
1976  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] iPhone 6S 64GB Unlocked Space Grey!! on: September 20, 2015, 08:28:30 PM
How much is the price? I cant see how much have you write
I get this error "bitcointalk.org image proxy invalid image"
Would like to know the price shipped in EU including shipping.

Hmm not sure why it isn't working. I'm looking for $1000 + shipping. Most shipping to EU is normally ~$30 so total price would be $1030 shipped.  Smiley

Why your price is more expensive than apple?
In apple.com you can pre-order and pay in full for $749.00 (6S Gold 64GB)
Why would anyone pay additional ~300 USD? correct if i am wrong.

Some countries like India do not have it available for pre-order, and most countries in EU are much more expensive than what the US price is:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/iphone/11857789/How-much-does-the-iPhone-6s-cost-around-the-world.html

Also, some people may have missed the pre-order. They are currently unavailable in my area. They are selling on Ebay for $1000-1200 currently, I figured I would post mine and see if there was interest.

Well i got it, i understand you, i remember when iphones where sold high if they had flappy bird installed lol.

I am not iphone addicted but i would like to buy one but not at this price 1xxx, Good luck Eodguy149.
1977  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Sr. member on: September 20, 2015, 08:22:30 PM

If it is so then here is a free tool.
Here is a website to check just put the uid of the sr.member account
http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/   and let us know the result.

I tried it. Began as number forth in the queue and didn't get any results. It was on my phone with Dolphin as browser.

You should not close the tab,
But i have found another website (clone maybe). Check it here:
Hope the queue is clear http://www.visitorsbit.com/
1978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is back ? on: September 20, 2015, 08:03:24 PM
Where did these coins are from then?
No Inputs (Newly Generated Coins), was there any giveaway in 2009?
I am not well informed about that period of time.

It means that they were mined.

I know that bitcoin is mined, but i was wondering if at 2009 was any giveaway.
And mining at that time was easy even with a laptop.
@GermanGiant good luck in growing your post count you are doing a good job man.
1979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the amount that every Bitcoiner should own ? on: September 20, 2015, 07:47:41 PM
21 BTC... and be one in a million. You can continue on from there, but for most of us, being one in a million in regards to BTC is a fantastic benchmark.

Depending on the individual income, i would say starting with 1BTC.
And then increase it until 10 BTC, then until 21 BTC as centauribit said.
The higher the amount that we hold the higher the risk is.
1980  Economy / Services / Re: Make me an avatar on: September 20, 2015, 07:34:54 PM
Avatars must have a size not bigger than 120x80 px
The designs you made don't fit to the avatar.

Have you heard about photo resize?
These pictures can easy be resized and fit well enough for avatar.
Btw, good designs, maybe i will submit when i have time GL.
