Yeah, I have the feeling they aren't coming back. Just hope nobody threw money to them. If they're disappearing for days at a time, that's not a good show of confidence for the future.

I'm 99% sure these are carded/hacked accounts he's using to get the codes, so if you do get one from him and use it, it ends up being tracked back to you if you use it online. They can also do the same in store (same as how they catch people using fake money).

Yep, to put it into perspective, someone used Purse.io to trade his BTC for an item on his wishlist. He ended up with a visit from police and an accusation of theft because whoever bought it for him was carding. IIRC it was like $10k in legal fees for him to finally put it behind him, but helps understand the risks.

I have read that story too, it is so pity to hear these days especially from purse.io which is a great service but very risky.
I see that the item that i want to buy is also on newegg, will find someone if there is any chance to get it cheaper...
Btw there is still no news from the OP, seems he has left, also on skype he is away for many days now.

To answer all your questions:

1. These are cracked accounts so the balance will be coming from a cracked account (just like what happened to starbucks and no one got in trouble for using cracked balance, victims received compensation in gift cards for the loss)

2. I haven't been able to take new orders because I have received at least 80+ msg's asking for walmart gift cards. I currently have a $100 order + $500 + $900 order to deliver and I can't take new orders until I'm done.

$100 order can take a few hours
$500 order between 24-48 hours
$900 order at least 3 days.

I'm transferring these from inactive accounts to be safe. I know it takes time to deliver all these, but if you can't wait for me to take your order, try and find some other seller who moves faster. I'm 1 guy against 80+ people. There are other sellers on other forums, try contacting them if you're in a rush.

I could never use this service, if you do; you are taking a very big risk. While it seems great, I definitely dont want to go to jail. I wish there was a similar service, but legal and very cheap. This kind of thing really hurts the image of Bitcoin and its efforts to become mainstream.

I wouldn't use anything like this, either, but let's face it -- Bitcoin or cash, this will happen regardless. People need to quit acting like nobody has ever used cash for nefarious purposes. But does everyone go around saying "USD? NO. PEOPLE USE THAT FOR DRUGS"? No.

True, before cryptocurrencies, cash was the typical thing to use, but now that bitcoin is around they think it is more anonymous, but its not and never will be. That is not the point of bitcoin.
