1961  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit.com scam, and took my money including deposit. (500$) on: December 02, 2022, 10:34:07 AM
Address reuse by an exchange or some other service is certainly possible, although in my experience I think it's very rare these days. But even if that were true, it would be pretty incredible if the only deposit to the same address also came from a Rollbit hot wallet, and only 6 days apart.

Furthermore, since the screenshot posted by the OP and the transaction later posted by Rollbit Razer match the transaction amount and time, I think we can safely conclude that the address 0xd671f6bbC4998e24b575fF8178715fFB96674d89 is indeed the OP's withdrawal address.

This leads to the conclusion that the OP is not telling the complete truth in this case, and that he had at least one other account and at least one successful withdrawal from Rollbit casino in the past. If not him personally, then someone very close to him (maybe a family member?).
1962  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: December 01, 2022, 05:41:32 PM

Payments if merit and post requirement met:
Member .001 per week

Payments if merit and post requirement NOT met:
Member .0005 per week

Accepted, Still have 1 open member spot for a non burstposter.

Still plenty of positions open, keep applying!

I am 95% sure that Coinplay is being operated by the 1x group. While the brand is pretty new, they might try to keep it clean.
I was about to start testing this casino, but right now I decided to skip it. They are changing the T&C on the go, trying to hide the connection with the 1xbit brand, which is already a red flag to me.
1963  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Satoshi a Russian? on: December 01, 2022, 02:40:56 PM
But the fact is that Satoshi is a human and he is from somewhere but we in this community are not interested in knowing where.

How is that a fact? Can you provide some evidence to support that claim?

A lot of people believe that "Satoshi Nakamoto" is a pseudonym for an individual or team of individuals, but no one has yet confirmed that he is a human being, as far as I know.  Wink
1964  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]: Password Manager LassPass has been breached, accessed customer data on: December 01, 2022, 02:18:07 PM
I don't understand why we have to spend money and use password manager software with risk of leaking our passwords.

We don't like centralized services because we don't control our keys, our seeds or we have access to them but we are not only one who have that access.

So why do we like to give another company with many staffs access to our password?

LastPass is available at no cost, and all essential functions are available in the free version (for a limited number of devices). Besides, read how LastPass works and what the "Zero Knowledge" architecture means. Neither the company nor any third party has access to your passwords. (Not that I condone any kind of data leakage from centralized services like this.)

Honestly, I've been thinking about alternatives to LastPass for some time. KeePass is a logical choice. It's a free, open source password manager, and it has a lot of great features and security. But KeePass has some downsides too. It's not perfect and it's not as easy to use as LastPass. The interface is unintuitive, and I worry that it will take too much time to learn. It has basic support for syncing with a cloud service (with some caveats), but nothing as advanced as LastPass. But, you won't have to worry about being hacked by bad actors or losing access to your data if the company goes out of business.

1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 01, 2022, 10:50:38 AM
The third round matches of the World Cup are being played today in Group E and Group F.

The first to take the field are the teams in Group F. Croatia takes on Belgium; while at the same time, Morocco faces off against Canada.  While Canada has already been eliminated from the competition, the other three teams have a chance to advance to the knockout stage.

Group E matches begin at 20:00 (CET). Spain is playing against Japan. Luis Enrique previously announced that his team will go for victory in order to secure first place in the group. In the second match, Costa Rica will compete against Germany, last in the group with only one point and needs a win to advance - but it also depends on the result of the match between Spain and Japan.

Thanks for the explanations , everybody. Now i have understand. Anyway , Are there any alternative rather than Electrum wallet. Anything can happen in crypto. If electrum wallet hacked , then what else we can do?

Electrum is one of the most trusted and secure Bitcoin wallet that can be used to store your Bitcoins. If you are looking for an alternative, there is a topic at the top of this board: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why? I suggest you check it out. There is also an extensive list of recommended Bitcoin wallets at: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

The most important thing is to keep your private keys (or backup seed phrase) in a safe way.

<cut>
I've never been hypnotised but from the movies I've seen, your likely not in control and seems to follow the directives of the one whom is doing the Hypnosis.

I had to read many words before I finally understood what you were saying. You might want to start with that next time.  Wink

It's not just that hypnosis is rare, it's only supposed to work on a very small percentage of individuals. The basic idea is that you believe it will work, and therefore it does. So, it's pretty clear that hypnosis is not something that you should worry about. So the next time you see a movie, don't believe everything you see. A lot of it is just a work of fiction!  Wink
1968  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can We Consider This Casino An Industry Giant In Marketing Here In Bitcointalk on: November 30, 2022, 10:06:35 AM
How can Duelbits come out with a huge budget only here in Bitcointalk that other casinos cannot when Duelbits started operation on February 2020 can we also consider them the most profitable casino in the industry?

Why do you think that other casinos can't set aside such a budget for marketing on the BitcoinTalk.org forum? We have dozens of signature campaigns on the forum, paying thousands of dollars a week, that have been running for years continuously, and we currently don't know how long Duelbits casino intends to run this campaign.

Every business, including casino platforms, have their own marketing strategy they believe will bring them the best results. Some casino platforms prefer to spend money on affiliate marketing, while others focus on social media campaigns. However, sometimes the best methods are not always the most expensive ones.
1969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The kind of hard disk to keep your bitcoin blockchain data on Laptop on: November 29, 2022, 01:36:38 PM
You made some mistakes in your post, so I recommend that you correct them.

In the "Msata M.2 SSD" section of your listing, you wrote: "read/write between 2000-3500 MB/s". However this is incorrect. Both classic SATA and mSATA offer the same data transfer speeds depending on the revision of the interface (SATA I, SATA II or SATA III). The mSATA and mSATA m.2 form factors are essentially smaller versions of the regular SATA interface that hard drives and SSDs conventionally use.

The real boost in data transfer speed comes only with NVMe devices that use the PCIe interface instead of SATA, which provides a much more efficient way to transfer data.

Using an NVMe device as an external storage really doesn't make sense, due to the speed limitation of USB interface. You can get the same data transfer speeds using everyday flash drives (with NAND flash memory), which are much cheaper and widely available.

[...] In these cases, I have to save my posts on my device, and log out, log in my account again, to pass through this issue. [...]
I use Tor, too. Have you tried CTRL+SHIFT+L (i.e. "New Circuit for this Site") as a workaround?

If you do that on page to create post/thread, don't forget it'll also erase everything you already write.

This happens a lot on Tor lately. I found it useful to have the bitcointalk site open in another tab at the same time, and use the "New Circuit" function there. That way, you won't lose the post edit/create content in the first tab when you return to it again.

Mind blown! I never knew those two buttons on the left of my mouse do anything (and I never tried)!

I just can't fathom that you never hit those buttons by accident.  Smiley

After the second round, and while we wait for the third round of group stage matches to begin, here are the current standings for all groups:

Source: https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/home

Teams that secured their place in the knockout stages:
  • France (Group D)
  • Brazil (Group G)
  • Portugal (Group H)

Teams that are already eliminated from the competition:
  • Qatar (Group A)
  • Canada (Group F)

All other teams still have chances and can still qualify depending on the results in their final group matches.
1972  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: November 29, 2022, 10:51:03 AM
Hi OP, my experience with your site went well. You have a wide range of coin acceptance. As far as suggestions are concerned, I would suggest you add bitcoin. Because it's getting increasingly popular daily, if possible, go for FIAT as well.
Dude, really?

@OP is a representative of Trustdice casino and you can click the link of the casino on his signature, it's really hard for you to open the site and just shitposting to fill your quota requirement?

Trustdice has been accepted Bitcoin when the first time they promoted their casino in this forum and now you're suggest them to add Bitcoin, lol. This must be a big joke.

Right. The trustdice.win casino's front page displays a list of available deposit and withdrawal methods, so a single click on the link would be enough for him to see them all. Not only does the casino support Bitcoin deposits, but also they accept FIAT currencies. He says he has an "experience" with this site... So, I wonder what that's about?  Cheesy
1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: November 29, 2022, 10:20:50 AM
It's pretty simple, gambling is a billion dollar industry and there are many people involved in it and when that happens you need a currency, not only that but a secure one, and that's where cryptocurrency comes in, it's a secure and fast way of transferring value across the globe. Cryptocurrency is the future of gambling, it's a secure way to transfer value and it's much faster than any other form of payment.

Therefore, any negative changes that occur in the cryptocurrency market do not diminish its value when compared to other forms of online payment, especially when it comes to the gambling industry.

Also, one or two casinos turning into scams will not by itself undermine the public's faith in gambling industry as a whole, because there are so many other casinos that are still operating and providing a quality services. Although gambling platforms come and go, gamblers will still gamble. They might be more selective about where they put their money and place their bets though.

1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 28, 2022, 03:24:51 PM
Overall, what has the World Cup taught us so far? That African teams aren't playing just to be a part of the show, they're here to win and they have the skills. Yesterday, Morocco, earlier today Cameroon and now Ghana. The world has been watching, and it's time for us to start taking African football seriously. Africa is experiencing a rise in footballing prowess. While the continent still has a long way to go before it catches up with Europe and South America, look no further than this years World Cup as evidence of immense progress being made. Countries such as Ghana and Morocco are strong contenders, not just on paper but also in terms of the quality of football they play. Africa is becoming a powerhouse in the sport, and it's only a matter of time before its teams start winning major tournaments.

Your thread was moved from the Gambling section because it didn't belong there in the first place. Please stop playing the role of someone who doesn't know what's going on and start following the rules.

1977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⭐HunnyPlay.com | Best Crypto Casino 🎲 180% Welcome Bonus 🎁 28% Cashback on: November 28, 2022, 01:17:12 PM
There seems to be many people in the community asking for proof of reserve. It is a reasonable request for businesses like CEX and others that works fully on smart contract.

But I believe we shouldn't provide and we are not obligated. Online crypto casino is a very sensitive and competitive industry and competitors constantly lookout for ways to oursmart each other. Have you tried asking BCGAMES and BETFURY for their proof of reserve? I believe no online crypto casino will give this details.

Actually, it's quite common for the crypto gambling sites to announce their bankroll or at least sign an address that holds coins as proof of funds. Many of the sites are quite transparent with their finances, and they make it easy for users to check that the site is solvent. This goes a long way to build trust for the site and make it seem legit, especially when the gambling site is new or has a questionable reputation in the community.

A few examples that come to mind:
https://bustadice.com/statistics
https://just-dice.com/
https://bitvest.io/charts

But there are also sites that don't want to give out their bankroll or show it publicly. They may have reasons for that, but the most common one is probably because they don't really have enough funds. Some of them are scams and some are not, but the point is that this is practically the only way to prove that you have enough funds to cover the bets from your players.

Just to repeat again, HunnyPlay has been around since mid 2021. Currently we are pretty healthy in cashflow and are able to give out MegaWins from slots many times without any problems. Our most recent Megawin was on 26th Oct 2022, which the payout was way over 400k. The player used $300 to buy featured spin, and he won a $411,775.50
https://twitter.com/HunnyPlay_/status/1585115552548548608

More references can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5418052.msg61214573#msg61214573

There is no verifiable evidence supporting the legitimacy of this "win". Especially considering that the same twitter account has been used to shill your #PancakeHunny project since the beginning. Coincidence?

Anyone can claim anything, pay for a press release to be published on an obscure news site, and hope that people will believe them.
1978  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 27, 2022, 03:54:09 PM
For the Group Stages of the #FIFAWorldCup we’ll multiply your winnings based on how many goals they score in the match

If your selection scores:
2 goals; you’ll earn Double Winnings up to $100!
3 or more goals; you’ll earn Triple Winnings up to $200!

https://stake.com/promotions/promotion/fifa-world-cup-anytime-goalscorer-multiplier
I strongly believe that this a very interesting offer because we’re sure to witness at least 1 or 2 goals per match, hence there’s a good chance of winning up to $100 once the group stages begins. Further I believe that Spain will score more goals per match, hence there’s a big chance to win up to $200 during their match but do avoid England as I don’t really expect them to score a lot or concede easily I’m assuming that they make it to the next round.
Be careful Juggy777, when you have to select an anytime goalscorer, you don't have to pick a team but a player. And it's not so common to see one single player scoring 2+ goals in the same match and to be able to guess it. So I don't think this promotion is very interesting as you say, except for very few teams where the goalscorers are usually always the same, if they are playing against a weak team in addition. As we have already talked about in the previous pages, promotions from Stake for this World Cup are very disappointing overall and below their main competitors.

I agree. It's hard enough to predict who will even score in the match, let alone who will score multiple goals. This is not surprising. I just checked the stats for the 2018 World Cup. Out of a total of 64 matches, only 12 players scored 2 or more goals in one match. That's a pretty high number, but it's still a small percentage of the overall number.

Here's a list of players who scored 2 or more goals in one match for the 2018 World Cup :
1. Cheryshev, Russia
2. Ronaldo, Portugal
3. Costa, Spain
4. Musa, Nigeria
5. Lukaku, Belgium
6. Kane, England
7. E. Hazard, Belgium
8. Lukaku, Belgium
9. Stones, England
10. Kane, England
11. Mbappé, France
12. Cavani, Uruguay
1979  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAKE.COM IS SCAM! STOLE BIG DEPOSIT! BE CAREFUL on: November 27, 2022, 09:02:34 AM
Hi

I made deposit 11k xrp to my stake account.
<cut>

I have to say that I have some issues with your story. You claim that it is your Stake account, right?

From the screenshots you attached and the email address you used on Stake, it's evident that your name is "Tino Č.", which is a male name. However, in your documents for KYC verification, the name you used is "Martina O.", which is a female name, and the person in the photo on your document appears to be a female.

So, you either use someone else's email address to sign up and communicate with Stake casino or you use someone else's documents in the KYC process. Which is it?

Ahahahaha, are you joke??? I can use mail what I want, from boyfriend, from girlfriend, from mam, from dad. Stake also pay you for this post?

No, I am not paid by Stake for my posts. I'm just a neutral observer here.

Although you can use anyone's email address (if that's what you claim), I'm just pointing out that it doesn't make sense to do so. Email is a personal communication tool, and it's not appropriate to use someone else's email address, especially to register for an account on a website. Using someone else's email address is impersonation, and in some cases, it could even be considered illegal.
On the other hand, if you use someone else's personal documents, such as a passport or personal ID card, to pass KYC verification, you're committing identity fraud. This is a serious crime, and you could face legal consequences. In some countries, using someone else's personal documents is even considered identity theft and can result in jail time.

Because of what happened with FTX, cold wallet companies have been making a lot of money. In the last few weeks it has had a lot of sales, and maybe that's why it hasn't had big black friday promotions.

I think you're right about this year's Black Friday discounts on hardware wallets being disappointing, but dkbit98 found some deals that you may not have noticed: Black Friday Hardware Wallet Less Known Deals

You can still catch some of these deals if you hurry.  Wink
