1962  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: November 01, 2015, 09:00:10 AM
OP is pretending to be millionaire by 100BTC which is pretty hard.
At least the price of bitcoin should be around 10,000 USD.
I think that by 2020 that is not going to happen, maybe after 30years.
1963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: November 01, 2015, 08:36:06 AM
Of course you can buy anything you want but for it you should have a lot of this 'real money' BTC . Do you think that get it is easy  ?

For me, bitcoin is more than just real money Grin Roll Eyes Grin .

Bitcoin is real money Because I can buy real things here. Wink

Real physical and real digital items Smiley.
I also use bitcoin for these things and i find very useful for me/us.
Maybe i can use paypal too, but most of people does not accept because of chargebacks.
1964  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people dump their Bitcoins ? on: November 01, 2015, 08:32:33 AM
Overall the last dump that was yesterday it affected the price.
The dump was about -4% and comparing to now it is a drop of 10 dollars.
I think that people mostly dump for panic and maybe hate bitcoin.

1966  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: October 30, 2015, 02:26:45 PM
My current address is XAPO - 3BV7MK8z8gfjSvLbjH6HBPJYLHwGr9mvdV - still valid but can't sign a message so adding another address here

Code:
BTC adress - 1ErMGaLqkmoJCoCXE1Dbwjn1yGD3CPsdF9

Signed message - H2TMg3eQgr4NUELpmXtrCqPrzMJLWu1tIMRDIDOrXhEmT8Ntl/P9ELwDHqVoW3zzXQfL0zAV+LT6lq5YxQEBf8A=

I quoted your post containing the bitcoin addresses.
But i am having trouble verifying it because i get error.
Can you specify the messge or try to sign again a signed message.
1967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Got my 1st BTC, and now? on: October 28, 2015, 12:06:05 PM

Check out this night, if you want  Wink

Result: 1'04BTC

+0'574 BTC in last move.

Mission completed 3 months and 3 days after.

Now... let's go to the 3th!

Your journey really motivates me and i think also the others.
May i know what exactly are you doing, investing your fiat money or trading something else?
I would suggest to continue and never stop collecting bitcoins if you can afford it.
1968  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 28, 2015, 11:57:40 AM
Maybe after 5 years? or maybe more longer.
I think that a good amount of people are satisfied with the current price.
But we want to see the price much more higher than now Smiley, it really takes too much time and many halving period to reach 5k-8k.
1969  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people dump their Bitcoins ? on: October 28, 2015, 11:53:43 AM
If people dump their price today i think that they are satisfied with the price.
Even though the price has been increased to much since the last 2 weeks.
Another thing why people dump is because maybe they found a better deal in altcoin or in the real life.
1970  Economy / Speculation / Re: We hit $300! on: October 28, 2015, 11:47:35 AM
But time for the serious question, how long do you guys think it will take until we hit $500? Do you think BTC will drop before we hit it?

I think that it needs lots of time to reach the price of $500.
Maybe after the halving period if the pumping trend is still available by that time.
The price of bitcoin will of course drop and rise again but what i don't want to see it below $300.
1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 28, 2015, 11:44:32 AM
I see more percentage of speculation in the poll with the current price kick.

Use of bitcoin in shopping I think will be lessen too to take advantage of the rising price except if really needed to shop.

Well i would like the poll to be opened to see new voters what will they vote.
Because it is closed Voting closed since July 11, 2015.
I think to shop through bitcoin is good if you don't have fiat money but not preferred.

Yes a new poll must added and all answers there are based on past months. I'd like to see how people will preferred to use it now that bitcoin price stepped in a new trend now after sleeping in the family of $200 range for a long time.

I think that most of the bitcoin holders will continue holding.
Because everyone is hoping that the price will reach much more than it is now.
Except those who needs urgent money to use for emergencies situation.

That is a hard part when performing a holding method, when someone needs an urgent money even he/she doesn't want to convert it to fiat still they must do it. But to overcome it, depends on the situation, only withdraw money that is really need so somehow there still coins left.

In my case, I used my bitcoin now as part of my daily spendings since I almost spend around 220btc amount in my fiat last September so currently Im in the recovery status today. After I overcome the loss, I will used my saved bitcoin for holding now.

Well i think that if someone is unpatient then the holding method is not for him.
Because like me, i only want too see the price being increased as much as it can.
I mostly use bitcoin for trading so i get angry sometime when the exchange rate goes far down.
1972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about vanity addresses? on: October 28, 2015, 11:43:07 AM

A legendary member had explained how these addresses are generated.
It's not that link, however generating an address like this i think it takes lots of years (or simple impossible) using vanity.
Q7 i think it would a good idea to have an easy-to-remember address but the possibility is zero.
1973  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.15 BTC on: October 28, 2015, 11:37:19 AM
If you send the details to an trusted escrow,
I can lend you max 0.03BTC - 0.04BTC.
Without interest, let me know if you are interested, maybe the amount is less but the accounts nowadays does not cost 0.15 per Sr.member.

1975  Economy / Gambling / Re: What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘gambling’? on: October 28, 2015, 11:27:15 AM
First word that comes in my head is 'something dirty'
Something that i don't like and i hate when i see it, especially when i see people that are satisfied by gambling.
Personally i don't gamble(have stopped long time before) and i am happy that i don't bet/gamble, because it is very addicted and you can lose lots of money.
1976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: October 28, 2015, 11:25:04 AM
Finally the price reached today at $300.
I am happy because there was a long time that i haven't seen this price.
Maybe more than 3 months. About the $350 during November i think that it can reach if the pump trend goes on.

Bitstamp and Bitfinex just now reached new highs and Huobi is leading and still pumping. The comming months will be very interesting as I think Huobi is able to break through the $400 barrier this year.

Well i check the bitcoin price most of the time in coindesk.
So basically all exchanges there show that bitcoin price is more than $300.
Except BTC-e which shows the bitcoin price of ~$298

I have always found BTC-E to be way too conservative. Some times there is a difference of $10 between them and other exchanges. Currently they are only $3 below Bitstamp and Bitfinex, which isn't too bad considering there have been bigger price gaps.

Well i don't use btc-e for exchange, but only to compare the price in coindesk price graph.
Every exchange has it owns users and it can happen that the price isn't the same.
I mostly use poloniex and yobit. Anyway i think that $350 will be reached in the first half of November.
1977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rally on: October 28, 2015, 11:23:30 AM
I also don't want to see the bitcoin price to fall down below $300.
I would consider as Down: $300 and Up: $350.
The green color is the best especially when i see in bitcoin price chart.

1979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about vanity addresses? on: October 28, 2015, 11:18:08 AM
There was a thread explaning how these addresses were generated.
But i can say the the amount sent there can not be spent.
Basically all bitcoins sent to this address are lost.
I know how to generate these addresses, as I have some on my own. But this one is REALLY long

But i don't think that this address is generated using vanity.
Because it takes too long and lots of power.
If it was generated then the owner must have the private key to spent these bitcoins.
It has something to do with the hash and other things that i don't understand which I've read here(can't find that thread)
1980  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar collapse in 2015? (2) on: October 28, 2015, 11:16:15 AM
I don't think that dollar will collapse because it's the first most popular currency in the world.
I think that every year the value of 1 USD is deducted by 0.2%.
Which means that whatever you bought today with 1$ after few years you have to pay more for that.
