1961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: August 22, 2015, 04:57:51 PM
Hey, everybody has to wait for the confirmation of transaction, so it's not a big problem.

As Bitcoin is not widely accepted in your country then you can use bitcoins online to buy the goods you want.
There are many websites which give us function to choose to pay in Bitcoin and there also are sites like purse.io through which you can buy goods from Amazon and Newegg offers fully Bitcoin interface and their user reviews are also good.
Its not that easy, although we could buy the goods from websites. It depends on what country we are living, so if the distance is very far, then we have to pay high shipping cost for that. It will be easier if we exchange our bitcoin to fiat, then find the goods we want and buy that directly instead of waiting the goods delivery and paying extra charge for shipment.

I dont think that way, most of them buy it online because they didnt have time to go there to get the items. Lets say you live far, at least they must have people that selling the items near your country so it will cost cheaper. This online site will make us buy things easily from them just add some cost, it will ship right away to you and now you using bitcoin I think it is much more easier

I think people prefer to buy their stuff by online because the stuff they need isnt available in their city. Beside that, there is a risk when you buy it in online shop, which you couldnt check the quality of stuff you want to buy directly. I guess you said its easier using bitcoin maybe because you are living in country that accept bitcoin as payment.

If we don't like the quality of the product then we can also return it to the merchant. That's why return policy is present on most of the merchants.
1962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: August 22, 2015, 04:55:43 PM
Got more question on this.  So i got bitcoin when it was around $270.  I just decide to hold on to it instead of trading it for poker money or bank money.  The reason is because my thought is bitcoin will always go up so once i sell it, say after a long time it goes up to say 500 dollars... let say i sold 30 btc around the time for like $8100.  Then once it hits 500 dollars... then i would tell myself it would have been worth $15000 if i kept it and would made $6900 minus the 1 percent fee etc.

I also requested more bitcoin recently from sites.  However bitcoin has dropped all the way down to 227 dollars at the moment.  So since holding those bitcoin at 270... i lost quite a bit due to the btc fluctuations.  However if i sell it right now, then once btc goes back up, then i would feel silly for selling it.  So what is the right plan of action?   Right now what i would like is for btc to go back up to say 250 then i would sell it then take breakeven if you know what i mean.  My thoughts from what i read about bitcoin is it will only go up... however at what point should i start worrying?  When bitcoin goes down to say 175?  I would take a big loss if i sell it at then and then once it goes back up to say 250... then i would feel silly.

Is my logic right or wrong that selling btc is not profitable since in the long run btc will always go up... its best to not sell any of it?  That has been my thinking since i read many ppl say bitcoin price will only go up.  However when i look at btc price everyday and its dropping so much, i been telling myself why didn't i just sell it once i got the btc if you know what i mean.  Would like if someone could give me a detailed response to this.
I understand what you are feeling right now.
And your concern is also right.
But this price drop is for short term and also temporary, so keep your Bitcoins with you and after an year or two you will get your money back along with some profit too.

Thanks for the quick payments
1964  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people are using Bitcoin debit card? on: August 22, 2015, 09:35:26 AM
I didn't used bitcoin debitcard. I don't no about it! Using a debit card is more better l think. It is only my pesonal opinion.
Yes of course. Currently using the retro fiat debit cards is profitable.
Because currently the bitcoin debitcards are overpriced and after some time its prices would probably come down.
So in my opinion also it is not good to use those cards right now, i'll wait for sometime before using those.
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $10 in Bitcoin. What coin should I invest in? on: August 22, 2015, 09:31:22 AM
just invest it in a newbon cryptocoin in its initial phase.
As many users have claimed that they have made more profits with this strategy.
BTW in my opinion you should buy an account on the forum and can double these in a week or two. And currently i'm also doing the same.
1966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you use old Bitcoin if XT wins? on: August 22, 2015, 09:27:15 AM
Yes of course we all know that bitcoin XT will never win.
that's why we all are buying bitcoins instead of panic selling them.
And i advice other members also to do the same.

Hehe, noone will fall for this trick. The trend is obviously negative these days.
hmmm so you say that you will sell bitcoins at this low to cut your losses.
then it's ok , i don't mind because it's your money. But don't cry after watching the prices rising again.
My motto was to guide members and i've done that and it's upto them weather to dump their coins at low or buy more coins at low prices.
1967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has discovering bitcoin gambling affected your life? on: August 22, 2015, 08:31:28 AM
I recently started gambling on bustabit(which was refered to my by a friend) so i deposited some money and in small time i understood the game and made quick buck.
But then after some time they started loosing streak and i lost all of my bitcoins.
So for the last time i will deposit there and if i'm lucky then i'll make back my money and cashout of the site.
And if i loose all of it then i'll forget that there is any gambling site on which i gambled and lost and will never do gambling.
1968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you use old Bitcoin if XT wins? on: August 22, 2015, 08:25:50 AM
Of course I will use bitcoin core, I don't care about XT, I will always with official bitcoin core and XT won't win the game we all know this
Yes of course we all know that bitcoin XT will never win.
that's why we all are buying bitcoins instead of panic selling them.
And i advice other members also to do the same.
1969  Economy / Speculation / Re: PRICE DOWN on: August 22, 2015, 08:22:10 AM
yes, the current bitcoin prices are down dramatically
I hope this is only temporary
it is temporary, the price should rise again when all this FUD with the fork related stuff settles.

Any idea when? how you can tell it is temporary? The price of bitcoin 1000+ in 2013 but after that it never show any sign to reach half the price of all time high. So on what basis your saying it is temporary
no, it's not right.
There was also a time when bitcoin reached around $600 after that 2013 $1300 pump.
So there are always some swings in bitcoin market and it's prices.
do not expect that the BTC can be translucent at a price of $ 1,300 again like in the past
BTC price of $ 233 now, whether to increase or decrease
I'm also not hoping that price reaches to $1300 in just a few days.
The market was more volatile at that point as compared to now.
With my reply, i was telling MinerHQ that there was also a time when the bitcoin prices reached to approximately half of the 2013 prices.
1970  Economy / Speculation / Re: $300 in the end of August on: August 22, 2015, 06:45:20 AM
No way my man. Trust me that everyone is waiting on the XT situation to settle and especially some big investor that would have to drop that kind of money to push it to the $300. Nothing major will happen until the XT situation doesn't get resolved.
And that time will be around january,2016.
So we have got enough time to fill our pockets with bitcoins.
And if we don't take profit off this opportunity then we are dumb.
1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: August 22, 2015, 06:43:16 AM
For me the biggest problem with bitcoin is transaction time
If you're dealing with small amounts or dealing with someone in person, accepting a zero confirmation transaction is secure enough
hmmmm, and wait for much much more time for the confirmation of transaction and maybe no pool will prosess it because of such low priority.
Try this at your own risk.
There is no big deal paying some transaction fee every time we send transactions because the transaction fee can be earned back by facuets in some time.
1972  Economy / Economics / Re: Alright , Time to Dump or Time to Buy ? on: August 22, 2015, 06:40:35 AM
Buy more. But, BTC is going down; right? This, my friends is the time to buy IMO. So much is developing around BTC that I do not see it devaluing to any greater extent.
Yes people, buy more and more.
I know that everyone was waiting for bitcoin prices to drop to buy more bitcoins.
So gavin have given us this price low. I'm very thankful to him, and I also hope that his bitcoin XT sinks deep inside the ocean.
1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 22, 2015, 06:36:47 AM
I never imagine myself be like a gambler before but now,  Cry
Yes me too is becoming some sort of a gambler.
My friend recommend me bustabit and so I deposited on it to see how good is it.
I played for around half an hour and doubled my Bitcoins.
But then after sometime I lost all of it because of quick busts.
And now I'm in 0.05btc loss.
And with my earnings of this week I will deposit some amount on it to get back what I lost, or end up loosing this Time too.

If you lose again,  you must stop gambling
Yes, i was also thinking the same.
If we can't beat the house then there is no problem in investing the house. But i don't know that they also accept other players as their investers.
But thanks for the advice.

1975  Economy / Speculation / Re: New low? on: August 21, 2015, 06:11:19 PM
Nah, it can't be that much low.
Now prices become stable and probably will go up.
As all small time bitcoiners have sold their stack of bitcoins because of quickly falling prices and now whales have control of the full swing.
1976  Economy / Speculation / Re: I dare you..... 50? on: August 21, 2015, 06:08:01 PM
Hahaha nice troll.
Where do you get these kind of jokes Huh
I like your humour.
This isn't possible and never gonna happen.
1977  Economy / Speculation / Re: My prediction for August has proven correct on: August 21, 2015, 06:05:48 PM
There are a million people in crypto and at the end of the month if someone's prediction comes true then we see these kinds of posts.
BTW nice work and hope you will also get lucky next time.
1978  Economy / Speculation / Re: $300 in the end of August on: August 21, 2015, 06:03:24 PM
According to me, this price limit can't even reach till the end of this year.
The bitcoin XT is the main reason behind it, or maybe the whales are eliminating the small time bitcoiners from the market so that they will have full control of the swing.
So it can be a dump before a very big pump.
1979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about the block size issue on: August 21, 2015, 05:11:37 PM
I also like the increase in size of blocks idea and it is also good if we are aiming at mass adaption.
But Bitcoin XT is totally violating the principles of bitcoin core because it logs ip addresses and also we are not sure what Gavin is hiding behind his code.
1980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLE OR INVEST? on: August 21, 2015, 05:02:16 PM
If site is a respected one and been a year or so, then it will be safe to invest in it.
Because due to house edge, the house always wins in the long run and the gamblers always loose, but exceptions are always there.
