1961  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Avoid Bittrex! on: November 16, 2020, 03:20:03 PM
You don't have a choice really, with all these exchanges. To be fair, I think using CEXs like Bittrex, you have to expect at some point that they will want to KYC you. It's just a matter of time. Which is why I always say, if you have to use a platform that has KYC, you better make sure you pass and verify first before depositing anything!
Yeah , if you want your money then simply do the KYC.

If you think it's not worth the risk as you are pretty protective about privacy then you should respect them for having that KYC policy and you better forget that 0.5 btc in your bittrex account, don't make thing get even more complicated... just obey the rules and understand the situation.
Bittrex have to ask for your KYC for a reason. They are complying with all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations,  that's it.
1962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 16, 2020, 02:55:35 PM
Some rumors:

  • PSG after Ramos
    - 50-50 chance.
  • Guardiola wants Haaland or Martinez
    - There's no way Haaland would leave at this point so Martinez is the most realistic option.
[Source]

Even though Haaland is eligible to release from Dortmund in 2021, which is very soon from now, he can stay there until 2024 so City's going to take Martinez instead of all the other targets available for City because I feel that Martinez won't be a financial burden on them, even though Haaland is about the same price. And Messi is definitely cheaper than both of them, he also insists that Sergio Aguero stays as a condition but they are trying to get rid of him. IMO Haaland > Martinez > Aguero + Messi.

Now who will replace Martinez for Inter, if they will even fill his spot?
There's a lot of rumor about this crazy skilled kid erling haaland, he's been linked to numerous huge club such as real madrid, barcelona, chelsea, liverpool etc.
Real mardid ready to splash more money to bring haaland and mbappe at once which it's never in doubt when it comes to bring big names to Santiago Bernabeu... this ginna be a madness transfer if real madrid do that move.
It's been rumored that real madrid will use odegaard to ask haaland , to convince him to sign for real madrid.

I would say this transfer is a 50/50 too.
1963  Economy / Economics / Re: Dow Jones could crash by up to 4000 points if Biden locks USA!!! on: November 16, 2020, 12:36:36 PM
It will be foolish to shut down the economy now, when the pandemic is retreating.

Retreating? The numbers are worse than ever before. This is the second wave we were worried about in the summer:

So it's understandable why people are fearmongering about a second lockdown.

However, I think it's extremely unlikely Biden does anything unconstitutional at such a divisive time. I'm confident his administration will defer to individual state governors on the matter of lockdowns. Regardless, I really doubt we'll see the same scale of lockdowns that we saw in March and April.
Well if we talk about the statistics..
US deaths case is at 246k , nearly 20% of the total world deaths case due to covid19 which it's seems creepy, no wonder biden first step to announce the national lockdown is reasonable. But Is this number abnormal? I mean how much is the US deaths in a year before the covid19 ? Is it the same? Or is it much more?

However this is what I've got from the news ..

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/covid-biden-transition-national-lockdown-b1723030.html

So which one the true?

This could be a catalyst for a moonshot if the price keeps going up and all those folks start telling their friends about how much money they're making.
Few months later those folks start telling each other how naive they are going allin to buy bitcoin and losing half of the value as they can't resist with the future dump/correction.
They are all have fun unti it gets wiped out.

1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy advice on: November 16, 2020, 11:01:53 AM
I think sigle betting is the safest way to bet on sports betting because it has less risk compared to multy bet.

it depends on the strategy you will be using. there are games that are clearer who won and have good odds and in this type of games making multi will give you a big profit to the point that your bankroll will grow a lot and be able to cover future losses of two or 3 games. what matters in sports betting Is have a lot of profit in the end

If I want to establish myself to continue gambling every week on only one best team, will I be able to win more money at the end of the season?

Big NO

If not, what will cause me to lose at the end of the season ?

because your favorite team will always have low odds. I'll give you an example of Manchester city, in the games of manchester city in most the adds are low something less than @1.50

now imagine you have $50

$ 10 bets on the first game at odds of @1.50 and you win and get $15 total from your bankroll will be $55

In the second game you bet $10 with an odd of @1.20 and you win and you get $12 total from your bankroll will be $57

in the third game you bet $10 with an odd of 1.20 and you lose and you get your bankroll total $47

you can win many times but whenever you win you have little profit and whenever you lose, you end up losing a lot of money.

In the long run you will only have losses

Doing a single team bet all the way through the whole season wont work to provide you a steady profit.. especially if you choose the favorites one which it would give you small odds that as you have put an example above , in the long run your bankroll would get busted.
But how about making some modifications on this single team bet, i mean like don't go on the favorites... but go for the mediocre teams that always have an odds of over 2.1 or so  .

To bet on Leicester City for instance.. they do have more than 2.1 in average and last season they won 18 matches out of 38 total matches. Let's say 2.5 in average. 18x 2.5 = it's 45! You are in profit by the end of the season
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 10:07:47 AM
What the title said is true. The gamblers lose more money than win, and many people trying to playing gambling longer will lose their money, and they will not have a big chance to recover their losing money. If the gamblers can't realize that they should treat gambling as the entertainment part of their life, they will not hold their money but will spend more and more money. The gamblers should use the money they can accept to lose because if they use too big funds to gamble and lose all of the capital, they can feel regret and disappointment.

The casino will always give the gamblers many things to make sure that they will stay longer in their place, so they can use more money to gamble. We need to aware of that, and we need to avoid staying in the casino for a long time. Many things that gamblers should have if they want to play gambling, but having control for themselves will be the important thing that they should have.
Yeah pretty easy to guess , just look at the statistics that most of gamblers ended with a lot of debt .. as they losing more and more but instead to quit they are believe in themselves that they could recover everything one day so they keep going and even taking a loan for once, twice and often happened this type of gamble would take loan to everyone around them , this is a sign of crazy addiction, could and actually proven it's mostly ruined your whole life. Better to end the game with zero rather ended it with negative.

So what should we do in gambling? Be responsible! That’s it.
1967  Economy / Economics / Re: Look like covid is over Once we take loans on: November 16, 2020, 09:43:01 AM
You have yours and I have mine look what’s I have on the table

Conspiracy on DOW

Every time a company in US go broke and get bailout by the US, it add a little value into the DOW, because money are taken out from the DOW to rescue the company. In the other words more company go broke and crying on DOW the Save The World indices for bailing out, it add a little debt into the DOW account book.

Break down of DOW

D = debt
O = owned
W = Wall Street

Basically Debt Owned by the Wall Street to the company that go broke and accepted bailout.

The more company go broke the higher the DOW debt grow, currently the number of DOW are as high as the many company that go broke and needing bailout to rescue.

You bet on DOW going higher, you bet on more company going broke! That’s why DOW need to go to absolutely the moon, it’s inevitable all company goes broke eventually and add into the DOW tallies, a big number on DOW is a bench mark of sorrow, darkness and hopeless, the doom number.

Don't you guys tired about all of these conspiracies...

I do but thinking all of those makes sense correlation in each different situation makes me feel entertained! Thanks for providing these information, i just love to think about it but not to trust it , there's too much speculation in it with very limited data to provide .. make it more to a baseless conspiracy in my point of view to be honest.
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 15, 2020, 11:59:55 PM
Today's results are much better than yesterday. Teams I had expected to win did just that. Although, I tipped Belgium to win against England. I have no doubt that they're a good team but then, they always fail to deliver when the times comes for them to do so (especially when they're up against smaller teams). Well, thanks to today's win, Denmark ahead of England with 3 points and currently giving them a run for their money. England might get kicked out of that group with the way things are going. I'm looking for the next round of Nations League games round of Nations League game

Happy to see my single on Italy went quite well.
Yeah the favorites are win tonight , belgium is far better team than england that i think still looking for the best composition with their young talents.
While italy seems the only team with most consistent to keep up the good form. They are unbeatable for long time now.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Don't trade on binance or okex if you are just a small trader on: November 15, 2020, 10:18:24 PM
Nonsense, the taker and maker fees are not high on Binance compared to Bitstamp or Bitfinex. For each trade, you pay the commission to the middleman for meeting the order requirements as a taker or maker order owner. The 0.05% fee promotions are temporary if you have seen lower fees on advertisements, don't give advice if you have no idea how the order book works.

I don't agree as well. Even small traders can use Binance, their taker and maker fees are very competitive than other exchanges. And their withdrawal fees is lower than most exchanges. I don't think binance is built for large traders only. The OP is seeing it wrong, in my opinion. Every exchange is open to all traders, whether your are a small timer or big timer. It depends on your necessity for every situation. This is the good thing with crypto exchanges, there's no discrimination on their users.
I would rather say , don't trade future on binance or okex if you are just a small trader , that's fit to them.

The maker and taker fee are the main problem for op which it's doesn't makes any sense. He might doesn't aware that these fees are very reasonable not an expensive one that makes the small trader have less privileges to get higher fee or something lol , what's on your mind op. What's your problem?  Cheesy
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔻 List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid on: November 15, 2020, 09:50:58 PM
I can see there lots of new casinos and sportsbooks site are launching recently. It's getting really tough to make an conclusion which one is legit and which one ain't. Anyway, your attempts give newbies more confidence. As OP have listed nitrogensports, which make me confused. I have some history with nitro, not a regular but your statements make me forced to go trough with an investigation.
New gambling platforms launch almost every month and scammers come back under different brands, unfortunately. Having a list of scam casinos will prevent the gamblers from getting in touch with scammers and they will think twice next time if they fall into the trap of scam casinos. Nitrogensports has the official forum account and you can check the scam accusations on the related boards of the forum.
Daaamn nitogen are on the list? They are pretty active making promotion in this forum and they still do also i know they are big player in crypto gambling industry this is a shame indeed. I've several bad experiences with them too , having my account get frozen while the money in it seized. They have very weak security layers .. as often users get blamed but it's actually their own errors lol

it was my personal point of view about how bad nitrogen it is and now i could agree that nitrogen have to be avoided as a whole.
1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public perception of Bitcoin as payment method (survey) on: November 15, 2020, 09:21:34 PM
I agree with others, it's pretty long. I managed to pull through, but next time OP, try to make these a little shorter.
Can you share the results with us? I wonder if people see the realities or are overly bullish/bearish and it clouds their judgement.
Unfortunately Bitcoin isn't a great payment method for buying cheap stuff, but if you're planning to buy a house or a car...
That's how the survey works ...

It's not that long anyways, did you really do the survey hmm?
It's been a long debate about making Bitcoin available and worth it to transact in very low amount of fee. Too bad the solution hasn't arrived yet and the cryptocurrency adoption itself seems taken over by the altcoins that has very low fee. A lot of people interested to use bitcoin to buy stuff but thesedays people sick of the high fee and switch to altcoins, yet the bitcoin price continue to grow now lol
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 15, 2020, 08:07:36 PM
Belgium vs England, it's going to be a great game.
is it? England's defensive-focused starting XI makes me think that they want to park the bus or something today, kinda worried about my Corners bet now https://twitter.com/England/status/1328039080622501888

not many comments about Italy today, no faith in the Azzurri? i put some money on -0.75 AHC at 2.00...but i missed the post from another user about the team missing a few players for today's match like Verratti and Bonucci...not good Undecided
Well don't worry, sometimes parking bus strategy produces some corners too , and there you go ... you've just got 2 corners in the first 18 minutesnow! And the good news is that England would try to play more offensive since they are left behind now 0-1 to belgium , i just think that your over 4.5 corners for England is safe now , you need 3 more corners to go and you still have 70 minutes of the game, congrats!

I just do place a bet on poland to win at the first half .. the odds are tempting at 6.5 now in 19'.
1973  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $100k in 2021 on: November 15, 2020, 07:17:12 PM
Perhaps people who don't hold bitcoin in a large amount will still hold their bitcoin, but for people who hold a large amount of bitcoin, they can sell in a large amount of bitcoin, and they will wait for the correct time that will happen after the price reach the peak price.

Although I don't have much bitcoin, I will still hold my bitcoin and wait for the price touches $100k to make me get a bigger profit. But I will also sell my bitcoin when the price can touch more than $20k because that is the last time I sold my bitcoin at the highest price a few years ago.

In 2016-2017, people didn't imagine if bitcoin can touch $10k, and once the price reaches that price, they sell in a rush and quit from the crypto market for a while until all of the coin prices is drops significantly.

So right now, I think people will still waiting until the price can be more than $20k, perhaps less than $30k to sell their bitcoin because they want to make a big profit after waiting for a long time ago.
That's what i mean , there would be only few people who stay HODLing even if the price tomorrow move from $16k to $30k , as most people would cashe the money out for profit and forgetting their main target to reach $100k milestone and then failed to get that higher rewards , i do believe it's often happened ti most of us. HODLing never easy , you'll get tempted to sell it out everytime the price hitting the new all time high. This is inevitable.

You just have to remember that guessing bitcoin price shouldn't based on how things is makes sense , bitcoin are beyond all of the nonsense things when it comes to targeting the new all time high , the bull run often unstoppable .
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 15, 2020, 06:37:10 PM
We’ve been decimated by defensive injuries. This one though, I have a feeling the Scotland manager will have been in contact with Klopp. Robbo played a lot of games recently & then 90 minutes plus extra time. He did his job, Scotland reached their first major tournament for 22 years. I just think it’s been agreed for him to miss these silly internationals now incase he gets a serious injury. He probably does indeed have a tight hamstring but I think he’s being protected for both us & Scotland. After all he is no good to club or country injured.

That's a tough situation for Liverpool to break but honestly young defenders like Rhys Williams and Nathaniel Philips are really playing well. They have good opportunity to show some potential and make some playing room for themselves. Bit of tough opponents ahead as they face Leicester next and Atalanta in Champions League but I think they still have good chances of breaking them.
The international break has bad impact on Liverpool at this time, how not many Liverpool players have to be absent due to injuries such as Robertson and Mohammad Salah who are positive for Covid 19. It is getting tougher for Liverpool after losing Joe Gomez, Van Dijk, Thiago to Fabinho. It made Klopp even more dizzy, especially since the back line of all Liverpool players was injured starting from Alexander Alnord, Vand Dijk and finally Robertson injured after strengthening the national team. Kloop is very dizzy with the composition of the current players who cannot appear as a full team, especially now that Liverpool will have a lot of schedules, especially the increasingly tight primary League schedule.
Well i believe the odds for liverpool to win the league is now decreased with a lot of players will be missed in the next few liverpool matches.

This season is really a mess , but since i always wish about to have underdogs teams beating the giants and stay on top even to win the premier league then i think this mess could be the best opportunity ever , just look at how Manchester and arsenal now stay at 10th and 11th on the table and Manchester United at the bottom of the table along with other united teams like west ham UNITED 12th , newcastle UNITED 13th, Manchester UNITED 14th and Leeds UNITED 15th .
United teams are really united at the bottom of the league lol.
1975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: November 15, 2020, 06:14:38 PM
From my trading experience for 2 years, there will indeed be losses that always accompany,
and what you say about psychology must be maintained is the right thing,
because the number one thing you have to do is keep your emotional level when trading.
It's hard to maintain calmness when trading. Being emotional and losing is part of trading but if you manage to control it, you can take advantage of it.
FOMOs, emotions are coming to traders if an uncaught situation comes. Like there's a sudden reversal or pumping but at the end of it, experience what matters and it will be added to your learnings which can be used to your future trades.
It's useless even when you have years in experience but learn nothing from it.
I mean when you have a huge loss history in your portofolio due the lack of knowledge knowing the technical analysis.. fundamentals etc , but then you repeat it in the future to have that huge loss . That's damn too dumb.

Being experienced trader is indeed beneficial, but improving skills that much more important ratger than just proud being experienced one but had zero knowledge.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 15, 2020, 12:24:51 PM
Ah so terrible for me last night, Spain lost me the game since I had them on a few multis. Ramos makes 26 consecutive penalties, and then misses 2 in a row. I always did wonder why keepers took so long to get wise with his panenkas... and now I guess finally someone actually did;) Ramos is mentally strong though. He won't let this get him down.
They should put morata in the starting line up.. it might could become a decider .

That's football , sometimes a great statistics fools you. Seriously it's time to stop to put ramos as spain main penalty taker. A defender instinct to score a goal and make a high precision to place a ball to the top corner are so bold compared to a midfielder or striker that used to make a high accuracy shot.
They should have win it for sure.
Next match is slovakia against scotland , the game will starts within 2 hours from now. Scotland favorited to win but my guess it would be a draw, like 1-1
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 13, 2020, 10:09:15 PM
Right before the break due to these nations league games the table looks like this:
https://i.ibb.co/NKBfxHM/EPLleaderboard.jpg
Never would of thought the team on top of the table would be Leicester city and Tottenham and Southampton in the top 5.
Just hope not more players get injured during these games until the Premier league starts back up on the 21st again. Undecided
And Manchester City isn't even among the top 10?
This season feels more like the  2015–16 Premier League season, when Leicester City won the trophy. Most of the top dogs were inconsistent at that time and the underdog sniffed it right off their noses
Then should we put a couple bucks on aston villa,  southampton or everton to win the premier league?

Even though it wont as good as leicester x5,000 as the league running now, the latest odds i can see for aston villa is @135 and everton @110 and southampton @150.
While the two debutants fulham and west brom each got @5,000 which it's a mission impossible for now.
But if you make a bet for aston villa in pre-season i guess you'll get a better odds like @2,500 or so. Anyone?
In Pre-Season Aston Villa was @1000 and three new entries in EPL was nearly around your figure like @2,500 or some sites was offering near @5,000 for them as they feel these are very weak to acheive this mission.
Really? @1000?

Boy oh boy aston villa seems has a little chance to get the rare miracle to win the prem this season , that price is so worth it for the sake of $10 luck.
No way leeds with bielsa in charge and some great transfers had that high price , they are even favorited to finish in the european competition spot.

1978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $100k in 2021 on: November 13, 2020, 06:01:42 PM
Either way, not insisting, I think it's likely, and near certainty in 2-3 years.  That's about it.  At 1% on the John McAfee spectrum.  Actually seems in-line with a fair portion of the bitcoin community on this. Maybe outside bitcointalk, haven't been here in a while.

Thank you for your prediction. We have less than 2 months to see the new year, and I am curious about what will happen to bitcoin next year. If the price really touches $100k in the next year, many people who hold bitcoin will become a millionaire because they will sell at the highest price. But bitcoin price has a difficult time to increase now after touching $15k, and the price now is not moving to a higher price.

But if the adoption process can start in the next year, perhaps, that can lift the price to start rallies and break every high price barrier. And in that year, we might see bitcoin price will make a new ATH. But we never know if bitcoin really head to $100k in 2021, and we can only wait for that time.
A lot of people who holding bitcoin right now will stop holding even when it's reached 200% from $15k to $30k .

They would think it's enough, and i do believe there only few people who stand till the end if the price really touches $100k.
It's just the same thing when people sees bitcoin at $500 back in 2016 2017 , those who holding $500 to $10k ... i bet very few. They lured to sell it off once they sees the profit is more than enough at $1500 which it's 300%.
So yeah hard to believe there would be a lot of people being loyal waiting and hodling till that price from now.
1979  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just in - Bitcoin at $15 000 on: November 12, 2020, 11:50:35 PM
^I agree that it is definitely steady, but not parabolic, it is more like it is going up in a stable fashion and not in a skyrocket fashion. Normally I have seen crypto make faster moves inside a week and even though I agree that price has gone up over 50% in month or so, it also didn't do it in a week very quickly.

Just to give you an example, this is the same coin that crashed as low as 3.6k or 3.8k levels during march because of pandemic from all the way 9k and it went back up to over 5k over night as well. I know that was just one example but in one night in span of 8 hours we moved from 9k to 3.8k to 5k, which is parabolic if you ask me. Bitcoin "can" do that even though it is rare. This is not like that, it is a steady decent increase over long period of time.

Bitcoin did a high leap within days, for example, bitcoin rise from $13,500 to $15,900 in just two days. in early September bitcoin price drop from $12K to $10K but then starts to climb up in early October back to $12K, surpass $13K and reach the peak at $14K. in the early days of November, bitcoin doing sideways on support level at $13,500 but right now manage to reach $16K after the high leap. However, I agree that bitcoin price increase is quite stable with some corrections and sideways to this point. But it may be just the beginning before taking another high leap within a few days.
That's the definition of November rain!

You'll never know what will happen next. I assume we are all bullish but you should never forget about the correction and bubble possibilities, are we really deserve this price now? Are we really targeting a reasonable price next at $20k , $25k? Well yeah sometimes bitcoin doesn't need all these makes sense reasons which why most people consider bitcoin as a place to make a speculation. And this is the right time to make your own speculation by buying it now or never at all.

today's friendly matches will be interesting not at the level of quality of the teams (other than England the rest of the teams are weak), but because they are selections of countries involved in armed or diplomatic conflicts constantly ( russia, Iran, Syria, Iraq, USA, Lebanon ) . I wonder what a friendly match between:

USA - RUSSIA or IRAO - IRAQ would be like?

I am convinced that if these teams played, they would be imagining things like these:

Lol , there's no way these teams meet each other or scheduling a friendly match on purpose,  unless yeah if they get qualified for the world cup and meet at some point at the knockout stage. Nations league for their ownn .. FIFA might have to set this kind competition to gather all the conflicted nations and call it as conflicted natons league lol
