was it forked or was it a hard fork?

Too much hash at dedicated pools

usually 60-70% of total

What trust do we have that you won't run off with our money and part of our mining rig?
19603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why does the Ghash.io Multipool have so many orphaned blocks. on: June 09, 2014, 09:20:20 PM
Stay away from that pool. I mined with it in the past and nothing but problems.

It has a nice layout and everything but the coins it mines are bad and it has too many issues with bad blocks.

Ok I got a better setting using worksize 64 and threads = 2 for a Radeon 6990

 GPU  2:  88.0C 2360RPM | 1.226M/1.239Mh/s | A:4 R:  0.0% HW:0 WU:0.011/m I:18
 GPU  3:  83.5C  30%    | 1.223M/1.234Mh/s | A:5 R:  0.0% HW:0 WU:0.016/m I:18

Uses only about 200 Watts UNDERVOLTED TO 1.025V

I will slowly up the voltage until I can get it stable at 1.3-1.4

Using the default OC voltage of 1.175V it runs at 1.4Mh/s but uses about 400Watts and crazy loud. Fan needs to be 75% and still runs at 90C.

I have a 7 x 6950 (with unlocked shaders) rig and those run at 1.1-1.15v @ 900 -1375 giving 2000khs on pimp 1.5.4.

"intensity" : "16",
"worksize" : "128",
"thread-concurrency" : "8128",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"gpu-engine" : "900",
"gpu-memclock" : "1375",

I also run a 7990 rig and I can tell you thatall those dual gpu cards run very hot .

2000khs is x11 correct? Not x13 algo?
19606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How much torture did you put your GPUs through? on: June 08, 2014, 02:22:36 AM
I would say that one GPU I own I put it thru so much heat and torture for the past 6 months I am surprised it still runs.

Its an Asus 6870, I bought it used as one of my first mining GPUs. The previous owner mined non-stop with it for the previous 2 years. I've been mining it constantly for 6 months, running it at least >80C and it still runs perfectly fine. Fans are good, never accumulate dust and no HW error or artifacts or any kind.

I am surprised how solid built these old GPUs are.

The new R9 in my opinion are crap. Nothing but problems. Especially with the fans.

Will you add VRC anytime soon?
19608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11/X13] X11 (Darkcoin)/X13 (Marucoin) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: June 07, 2014, 11:16:25 PM
After some tweaking!

R7 260X I managed to get it to hash close to an R9 270.

Very good results from a card only costing $120

Threads=10
Engine=1250
Memory=1775

you should get 1.5Mhash/s

with scrypt it mined at only half the hash rate.
19609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11/X13] X11 (Darkcoin)/X13 (Marucoin) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: June 07, 2014, 10:18:44 PM
For R7 260X

after days and days of testing, the best settings are

W=128, Thread=2, Engine=1100, mem= 1625

Every other setting causes windows or linux to lock up and not very fast hashing speed.

Should be around 1.1Mhash/s with X13
19610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11/X13] X11 (Darkcoin)/X13 (Marucoin) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: June 07, 2014, 09:26:59 PM
Sapphire R9 280 dual x
cat 13
sph-sgminer_x11mod_b2_2min_SICK
~3,3 Mhs
~68.0C
~2800 RPM
stable

config

Quote
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

sgminer --kernel x11mod -o stratum+tcp://drkpool.com:3333 -u x -p x -I 21 --worksize 128 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8190 --gpu-engine 1113 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20 --temp-target 68 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 40-60 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85

but i even got error message (always happen on gpu 1)

Please help me and what the function swith with S symbol on gpu R9 280, is should be on or off (i was turn it on), thanks for help

You sure you have enough RAM?

Can anybody here with either an 6970 or 6990 post what voltage you are using?

I can't run my 6990 at stock voltages. The temp jumps to 105C. I had to undervolt to 1.025 and it mines as follows

Scrypt 344Khash/per gpu
X13 1050Khash/per gpu
X11 1250Khash/per gpu

The amount of money I lost with this coin is just staggering.

I will stay out for the time being, I don't trust it at all.

I personally hate this coin so much

There is also alot of offers in the 0.00025 area and its also where the moving average meets so take partials at least at that area.

Most likely it will hit the area and rebound and you can re-buy cheaper.
19615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CLOAK] Cloakcoin | No Premine | X13 | Exchange Anon | BITTREX on: June 07, 2014, 03:09:12 AM
Ok. My position is fully loaded.

What I don't like, is that its rising on low volume, doesn't seem like much action will come of this.

Most likely it will just chop around back and forth.

Will post when I exit my position. Hopefully at 0.00025
19616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CLOAK] Cloakcoin | No Premine | X13 | Exchange Anon | BITTREX on: June 07, 2014, 03:01:33 AM
Alright I am looking for a long here. Around the 0.00020-.00022  area

Large bids were filled and the selling seems to have stopped

Also new bids are forming now as we speak.

Long to the 0.00025 area
19617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CLOAK] Cloakcoin | No Premine | X13 | Exchange Anon | BITTREX on: June 07, 2014, 02:31:35 AM
Even though there was a large bidder at the 0.00025088 area, there is massive selling. It broke support and still its running out of buyers.

I will stay clear until I see some fresh large bids.

Problem with this coin is the volume probably dried up for the day and might trade sideways until tomorrow.

I will let you guys know when I took a long.

Keep in mind 0.00025 will be massive resistance.
19618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 07, 2014, 01:17:17 AM
Basically unless you have infinite money supply, you will lose.

However the chances of getting 10-15 consecutive losses is rare.

So basically the less you play the better are your odds.

Basically get in and get out asap.

Anyone know how to mine X11 with a R6 270X?

It keeps locking up Windows and Linux after mining for a few hours.
