For a fuller, better assessment of the companies on the GLBSE, check out my list:

http://www.bitmarketwatch.com/news/?page_id=46

I mean, he made a list and left off all the best companies!
Thanks for doing your research as that does sound like a valid description of how i run things.

I suspect banks will want to know how you are handling know-you-customer laws designed to discourage money laundering and terrorist financing. The obvious (possibly wrong) answer is that it is not "cash" recognized by any government, so does not have to be reported (though apparently jewlery (over a certain value) has to be reported in Canada).

You may also point out that you have sales records with shipping addresses if any authorities come asking questions. The annoymized bitcoin transaction record is also public in the block-chain. Without pinning down exactly what bitcoin is, it may be difficult to know if there are any special regulations you have to follow.
Thats some good advice! I Already have a print out of all my sales records ready to show them but i didnt think to explain about the blockchain and its integrity!

Thanks for that quick response, and the multiple corrections!
ive thought about using glbse for high volume of cash i think the issue is if value in bitcoins go back up anytimei have to pay more to payback all the btc. So i could potentially lose money going that route.

Okay I can't write alot in this post but I will tell you I'm going to the bank on Wensday to get some small business funding to help cut down the 5 day wait time to ship items out to customers. if you are an investor it is your duty to help spell check and give constructive criticism to this essay to help bankers understand how bitcoins work and why i need then why they are cool, etc ,etc why they profitable ,etc ,etc

anyways here is the paste bin let me know if there is anything to improve on

1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who have I not paid off on GLBSE? Calling all Investors!?!?!?!?! (CIB-Solutions) on: September 20, 2011, 12:56:35 AM
Okay since GLBSE does not have a messaging system Im forced to go to the forums for some reason an rely on everyones good will to see who I have not paid off on GLBSE.
I'm looking at my books and it appears they're is a number of shares I have not paid back. Please PM me if this is one of you. Pm me how many bonds you have invested. and when you purchased them.

I think GLBSE needs to have better menus its almost impossible to figure what I'm looking at. Given they provide you with enough to work with in a basic setting, but I finding GLBSE a more of a hassel then a plus!

Any thoughts?
1987  Economy / Services / Re: Selling items that will make bitcoins realvent to wifes around the world! on: September 20, 2011, 12:53:08 AM
I just issued some more assets on GLBSE, these assets will be used for advertising campaigns.

1990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I started spending my bitcoins ;) on: September 19, 2011, 10:59:38 PM
Well if anybody else agrees with the OP's post like I do,

You can't have value with out spending!
Head on over to www.CheaperInBitcoins.com and start adding value to Bitcoins!

I have access to over 1,000,000 products the only reason why i have no added all of them is becuase of time, and researching the products that people want takes lots of time.
Cut down this time in half but suggesting products that you'd like to purchase. Chances are if you want it i probubly have it! (Sorry no 6990's tho....)

I just went over to your site. I picked out one item at random. I researched no other item. Here is what I found.

http://www.cheaperinbitcoins.com/product.php?productId=7

Compared to this:

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=Verbatim+Wireless+%26+Rechargeable&hl=en&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1280&bih=685&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=5100759309582569421&sa=X&ei=8MZ3Tq3QK47H0AGKv7DzDQ&ved=0CGYQ8wIwAQ

Yep you are correct,
That item is being sold for $41.15 and you can find that most other places are cheaper(except for the "really" really low stuff you need to have memberships for or fulfill some kind of offer) But you are saving money on a $10 bank wire transfer.

Alot of the "cheaper" stuff is the high-priced items you can save over $100 on some of those things!
1991  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Cheaper In Bitcoins Solution - Customer Pics! on: September 19, 2011, 10:54:49 PM

I will be glad to offer customer Pics...  when my 5870 arrives.

I still do not see tracking information, will this be updated? or should I just keep a sharp eye out for the ups truck Smiley

Jim

Definably! I was going to put tracking information for your particular product but, i figured it would confuse you (and the other few customers) seeing their products destination towards my business address since in this particular case I purchased from alternate supplier to try them out. In fact everyone's 5870's came today, I just need to repackage and resend.

You will see a tracking number when its on the way to your shipping location.

I'd also like to note that I am no longer selling things from this alternate supplier as they do not ship directly to the customer. they require everything to be shipped to my address, and this has been creating alot of angry people thinking I ran off with their BTC(not jjimm_64 tho he is chill as a bird). The main items affecting this decision will be some computer cases and all of the video cards.

Thanks for your time Jim!

Hah, not just a crypto-anarchist, but a regular ol' anarchist abiding by the cookbook we have here.

Cookbook yes doesn't everyone have a copy? Anarchy only against snow banks really they're a bitch after the plows go by and full them with ice.

I hate that SH*T!
Everytime it snows here there is a huge wall of snow in the middle of that road then I must go to the next 4 way crossing in order to turn around, really convenient if you ask me

Crossing? Try every street and the end of every driveway

oh damn!

1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are You buying with bitcoins? on: September 19, 2011, 09:30:20 AM
I bought a blowjob in Nevada with Bitcoins, but then the exchange rate dropped off a cliff by the time I received my services and she only gave me half a blowjob. Trust me on this, fellas, when I say that half of a blowjob is pretty much pointless. I'd have preferred it if she gave me the latter half of the blowjob, even though it seems chronologically improbable. It is, of course, common knowledge in the blowjob industry that the latter half of the blowjob is what you're really paying for. In fact, most of us who pay for blowjobs would rate, in consideration of benefit, utility, and quality, the last 10 seconds of the blowjob to feature 90% of the value. For example, a 10 BTC blowjob, if offered to potential blowjob recipients in fractions, would only sell equivalently to the full blowjob if a first-half blowjob was offered at a rate of just under 0.5 BTC.

So, doing the math on this, my bitcoin-to-blowjob purchasing power actually dropped 95% during one transaction. I paid for a complete blowjob, but lost 95% of the value. If I was thinking at the time, I would have done the math and instead downgraded the service to a handjob. A full handjob has a much higher value than half of a blowjob.

As much as I like Bitcoin, I think that in cases where sexual services are being bartered you should use a hedging escrow account of some sort. This would essentially bring such services back to being dollar denominated. Yes, this is bad for Bitcoin, but when I'm losing 95% of the value of a service in the time it takes to merely perform the transaction, something is very wrong with the currency.

Also, sitting around in a seedy hotel room waiting for transaction confirmations and making small talk with a hooker is rather uncomfortable, mainly because they just won't shut up about Battlestar Galactica. In my experience, hookers who take bitcoins absolutely love Battlestar Galactica.

Furthermore, if this hooker had charged me for the total time involved (transaction time plus sexual service), and refused to be pre-paid for an "estimated" total, then I could feasibly pay an infinite sum of bitcoins. Say I'm paying for 60 minutes of services with 10 BTC and she needs 3 confirmations minimum before proceeding. On average, by the time 3 confirmations occur, 30 minutes will have passed. Now, if I still want 60 minutes of sex, I need to pay 5 more BTC. Then 30 more minutes would pass and I would pay another 5 BTC. At this rate, I'll never be able to actually have sex but would merely keep paying money for the time it takes just to process the money that I keep paying.

If, however, she charged for the transaction time but took "estimates" in advance and refunded the excess, I would still be paying, essentially, 50% more than those paying with dollar bills. That is a premium that I just cannot accept.

But hey, atleast you can purchase a flesh light and not worry about confirmation times!

Main Category Link: http://cheaperinbitcoins.com/showcategory?cateId=73

They're right where they belong "In The Kitchen"!
(er um maybe that title should thange to kitchen accessories or something lest you offend someone ...)

I thought of that, but hmmm Are you offended?

I mean all those items are from the kitchen, I think it maybe if i titled this post differently it would be less offensive becuase you would acknowledge that I may not have the intention of it being offensive, i digress It can be offensive to some people I agree and if it becomes and issue I'll change it, I actually put it there because I was tired of seeing dull category names.

Nah i'm cool with it as long as i can order a coffe grinder winters coming and thermite makes short work of snowbanks

Excellent, looks like i have alot! of the following brands: Hamilton Beach,Breville, BUNN, and Applica

and to the poster for batteries I have alot of those as well. I'm just going to add them all, should be updated by tomorrow morning(12 hours from now)
