1981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian banks freezing bank accounts AGAIN ! on: August 13, 2020, 01:58:19 PM
I don't know what's happening lately in India, there are some movements where applications and platforms like Mobile Legends (MLBB) and TikTok has been banned operating to their country, there are more apps that will be permanently banned in India about 50 more. And now they are banning crypto again, anything that revolves with crypto including the financial institution that deals with crypto which I think is not a good decision considered by their government. I think they also see, and focused on it's bad side coz it might be used in illegal activities and didn't look at the business opportunities that it can provide. This is so sad  Sad
1982  Other / Archival / Re: Why are these posts necessary? on: August 11, 2020, 09:10:21 PM
People just forget to delete their post after making it to "deleted/ABCD" Actually these post has no value. It had a little bit worth before the merit system comes for ranking up. Also nowadays no campaign manager counts these posts as eligible for weekly quota. So it is really unnecessary and it's a result of Laziness.
Yeah but these posts escapes in counting when the campaign has a lot of participants especially in bounties. Managers won't have much time to check them one by one and so they are just referring to the posts count of their participants. If you mean to comeback to your post or in the thread, you could have just put 'reserved' as what the others do when they forgot something or when applying in a campaign, coz we know some are having 'first come first served' policy when applying the campaign.
1983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 11, 2020, 07:24:56 PM
If you're talking on sports betting well yeah there are persons who really is a good bettor they will analyze all including their previous games and who is their opponent and many more but if you're talking about casino betting games I don't think there's a skill on such thing because you need a pure luck on them.
There's these players who runs into the background, the players, the team itself before a bet then there are people who will just bet based on their instinct, so in my opinion being a good bettor will be based on the games that you are playing, if you are playing a dice which has only 2 choices, 50/50 and is winning, good bettor is not a word to describe you but a lucky guy. Skill based games is where you'll find the good bettors.

Game analyzation and money management is the core of a good bettor. IMO.
1984  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do if you get scammed! on: August 09, 2020, 06:26:25 PM
Getting scammed is something that happened in a regular basis but victims has the only option to accept being scrammed because nothing has to be done about confirmed transactions, its gone for ever.
What do you mean by scammed in a regular basis? are you doing your mistakes purposely? lol

Getting scammed is just a matter of taking next steps in achieving new goals, although listening to music will simply digest the anger, as will result to many devastating issues in the environment.
There have been studies that music helps our brain to set the mood, so I guess it is better to listen to music rather than just thinking about it all day, but it must be a proper music, relaxing or upbeat. You don't wanna hear crying in the background coz you'll just remember it for bad. And also give yourself a space to think what could be done next in order to avoid doing the same mistake, a well lit surrounding or green place to spend your time.
1985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do exchanges get away with faking trade volume? on: August 09, 2020, 05:57:27 PM
Does anyone else agree that it's way too easy to open an exchange nowadays,
It is not easy to open a safe and reputed exchange, but can be easy for scammers to set up a fake exchange.
Scammers these days are skilled and wise, they are ready to fake an exchange though it is hard that one, hard to get a client but that's they thing, if they fail they'll just have to move on and yes they got a lot of fund, they just keep upgrading and upgrading their schemes out of the money they got from the past scams. It ain't easy to open an exchange nowadays, I must say.

And then some of them do things like listing scamcoins that can be predicted to become worthless, ripping off investors. If a stock were to do this, their owners would go to jail.
There are scam in forex too but no opportunity to create new fiat money as all are centralized and owned by countries. Unlike, cryptocurrencies, they are decentrlaized and can be created by anybody, that is why some are subjected to pump and dump.
This is why investors have quit investing, this is true actually and I pity those projects that is legitimate but lacks of support coz most of investors think that it is a another scam project.

And then other exchanges blatantly misreport their trading volume as much higher than it actually is. If a regulated forex platform would to do this, they would be heavily fined.
That does not mean it is not happening in forex, a lot of scams that happen in crypto is occuring in forex too

Sure forex has their own share of scam platforms but in my opinion it is way too easy to set up an crypto exchange without worrying about the legal aspects. There should be more scrutiny and regulation around exchanges.
Imo, if you are talking about centralized crypto exchanges, they are also well regulated but there are some ways scam can be legit, a good example is the puming and dumping of coin. Aside forex, let me use a well reguated organization for you, have service sim provider scammed you before? They can scam people with as little as $0.1 dollar, why government never done anything?

Imo, not that crypto exchanges are not regulated, there are shady scam in forex too and it is everywhere like that. It is we that should be careful.
Scams are everywhere and we all should be wary of that, not just in forex, not just in crypto, even in real life, so it is better to have an actual knowledge than just knowing what a scam is.
1986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trx or Eth ? on: August 09, 2020, 05:20:22 PM
Vitalik might be a malnourished weirdo, but Justin is the kind of person we need the lest in cryptos.
What's the connection of ethereum to creator's body built then? lol, and just so you know most of intelligent people are skinny, at least from what I've noticed, but that's not of our business to talk to.

I admire TRX's performance last year but the chart isn't good as it looks unlike ethereum, so if we only talking about these two then I will say Ethereum is where your money go. Aside from the upgrade that it will get, the price chart of ethereum is preparing to get to it, like a pre-bullish approach as the eth v.20 is nearing to get on live. As for the popularity, ethereum is greater than TRX, who would not know the queen of the cryptocurrency after the king, Bitcoin?
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH 2.0 Testnet is a go! on: August 09, 2020, 04:22:47 PM
What will the price reach by the time the mainnet goes live is 2 months?

It is difficult to predict in advance.
I just don't get it, isn't why it is called prediction? coz you are guessing it in advance? lol

Many will give many types of predictions but those predictions are far from reality. Everything depends on the ETH community. The market price depends on how interested the ETH community is. Because if the demand increases in the market, then the price will start to increase. You may have already noticed how much the price of eth has changed in the market. Although now Bitcoin is being pumped extensively so eth is following Bitcoin. But I very much hope this year will be a good year for eth.
Prediction is prediction, no matter how off it is from the reality that's their view on how it will be, and don't take some of it too seriously there are a lot of trolls in here. The ethereum market was huge, community is huge and I don't see any reason that it won't skyrocket after the upgrade. Just take a look at the progress of the BAND protocol and Chainlink, it reflects the price so I will do the same in ethereum I guess. I'm already claiming it, this year's gonna be so good for the ethereum, bitcoin will still be at the top ethereum will take the run.
1988  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020-2021 best year if You Want to become rich no skills needed on: August 09, 2020, 03:39:29 PM
We can say that it could be, since crypto could be a short cut for getting rich however that's not always the case with investing. Investing isn't sure especially with the market like this, though your chances in getting profit is huge when you hold for a long time but I guess that's not how you set your mindset with cryptocurrency. I've thought of this too, I imagined myself riding a lambo in 2020 when I saw the price of bitcoin in 2017 and look at me now still in my apartment eating some chips. If you rely your fate on getting rich with cryptocurrency, have a Good Luck! I'd better be learning some skills while investing on crypto.
1989  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Online transactions and house bill #6765 on: August 09, 2020, 03:05:14 PM
With the growing debt of the nation day by day, they are trying to seek for ways to at least pay for that debt, or to supplement whatever payment they can recoup with the available taxation streams they have currently.
Maganda naman ang adhikain nitong batas na ito, yun nga lang bibigat ang babayaran ng mga taong gumagamit ng mga online services na tatamaan sa batas na ito, dagdag expenses din kumbaga.
Talking about our national debt, what I can say is that we are in a good position pa naman, our debt-to-GDP ratio is healthy which makes sense to have a loan. Good debt kung matatawag.

Aggressive tax models wouldn't do the cut kung yung humahawak naman eh palpak at incompetent.
Hindi malayong tamaan ito sa totoo lang lalo na yung mga larong ginagastusan talaga like ML, Dota, etc. Ang gusto kong malaman sa ngayon ay kung paano nila magagawa iyon.
1990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable days of holding bitcoin percentage (98.5%) on: August 09, 2020, 02:25:31 PM
I wonder if anyone bought bitcoin for the price of $11500 on August 5, 2019 and hodl until today on August 7 that the price is at $11500 how much profit did that person make?  Grin
Of course there are people who bought after $11500 coz the price increases after it passed that price, there are people who are buying and selling bitcoin constantly in the market. Talking about the profit that the person generate after a day of buying it is quite bothering actually, yeah bitcoin is volatile but it is not always like that like man what are you expecting in 2 days after buying bitcoins? a lambo? it could be if you're a millionaire haha

if you just buy and hold bitcoin, you have a very high likelihood of profiting. (This is assuming that the future bitcoin performance will be similar to the past).

it also has a high probability of just spending a lot of time and people having the same value
Long term is what made sure of the profit, as they said buy and forget it for a while, then have a glance on it when you see it in the news. I, myself don't mind my bitcoins that much, plants grow itself outside  Grin
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Band Protocol - Cross-Chain Oracle solution & Chainlink Competition - Next 100X? on: August 08, 2020, 10:05:57 PM
I've seen this scary growth of BAND, for now blockchains with oracles are going really strong and grow fast!
I've just seen it's growth now and it is huge, It is impressive actually for a coin like this, more than 1000% in a year, there must be a good team behind it who is working for the project greatly.  Investors should see it. Now this is what it looks like when you have a direct partnership with Defi platforms, you get an instant support from the DeFi believers. Thus the acceleration of DeFi application is going to a new technology. Just WOW.

but is it a passing fire or something destined to last?
we cannot tell but supporting it would continue its life in the market, be aware also this might be a short term, but as for what I see it, it will go to the moon.

1992  Other / Meta / Re: Make this forum a better place - part 1 on: August 08, 2020, 09:45:03 PM
Im also thinking if reporting that to moderators could be considered as good report like noting a " huge size of images, bad representation".

I reported one post from user who is quote whole OP with big image to see what the result will be, and today I see that the report was marked as good and the post was deleted. Although the outcome of each report will depend on the moderator who comes to it first, it seems that some members will learn to use the forum functions correctly only when their posts are deleted.
Yeah it is bothering seeing a user to quote the whole post especially when there's a picture in it, huge picture, when they could have just reply if it is still on the first page of the thread OR they quote it with the picture deleted OR they could just paste the entire line that they want to quote with bold or italic text for crediting. It is good actually coz they are receiving a message that they the post of them is deleted, so they will not do it next time. But I guess the mods should put the very reason why the post is deleted. " Bad presentation " will do.
1993  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: August 08, 2020, 09:16:17 PM
The fees always varies on any type of the coin where the network congestion is big deal in determining the fees, even the slower ones will rise due to this.
Well, that is right. Bitcoin gambling casino has no fault here when the withdrawal fee will arise. When the network is congested, that is expected that bitcoin fee will also arise due to overloaded network and a lot of unconfirmed transaction. You can check mempool in that way, if the network is congested, don't mind about withdrawal. Just wait until the network did not busy and withdraw your bitcoin. [option 1]
Yeah it is advisable to check mempool whenever trying to withdraw, and aside from the literal bitcoin fee or whatever coin that you use there are still casino fee on withdrawal, that's added to the fee that you are paying. Preferably to wait rather than spending too much, or if the bitcoin rises try to calculate a little coz that's also a gain to you, so spending a little more won't hurt your pocket.

Another is, --exchange your bitcoin into lower fees altcoin, like XRP and Ethereum to your wallet. But make sure that the online casino site has multiple cryptocurrencies accepted. [option 2]
The best option is this but I doubt it would just add to your costs coz it will generate a fee, then another fee for transferring into another. Nothing to worry about the casinos, casinos now are multicurrency integrated. Calculation before withdrawal is a must.
1994  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippines Central Bank Considers Issuing Its Own Digital Currency. on: August 08, 2020, 08:46:37 PM
But then the bigger problem na sobrang laki nang posibilidad na mangyari is maopen-up yung cryptocurrency and current users nito in which they might study nor investigate anyone involve in any forms or making profit out of cryptocurrency, and there's no impossibility that they might also come up to an idea about taxing such activities (which could take years to happen of course). But then the bigger advantage naman if ever they really pushed the idea would somehow change the ideology of the Filipinos with Bitcoin and crypto being a scam, especially with the current issue of forsage lol
Kahit meron pang ganito yang mga scammers na yan maghahanap at maghahanap yan ng paraan maka-scam lang or they even take advantage if these digital money didn't dessiminate briefly to the whole nation, educating the citizen should be the focal point bago man nilang ilabas ito. Pero I'll precisely assume meron paring babatikos diyan or marami paring mga katanungan kahit mailabas man.
Lahat nag eevolve at lahat pwedeng maadapt lalo na ng mga scammer, once they get to study the whole procedure makakahanap at makakahanap sila ng butas para punan at gamiting pang scam sa mga unaware people lalo na pag sinabing "pera" madaling makaatract yan. And I agree, bago sana ilabas to sana maraming tao ang maging aware at hindi lang sakay sa agos, at sana paglabas nito pulido na at hindi na magkaron ng maraming problema.

I'm not against taxing it but I am hoping it should always be to those who have their digital assets and I think it is on the process by this proposed bill by Joey Salceda the House Bill 6765 also known as “Digital Economy Taxation Act”.
Me too, kung magkron man ng taxation sana fair at proportion. May tiwala naman ako dito kahit papaano.
1995  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: August 08, 2020, 08:15:10 PM
Casino withdrawals fees has rose sharply in last few months. I remember cashing out from bustabit at about 967 satoshis a few months ago while the last time I did, the fees were about 50K satoshis. Even at the time of writing the fees are 4.5K saotshis. They have a flexible approach to fees and those fees are for slow withdrawals.
The fees always varies on any type of the coin where the network congestion is big deal in determining the fees, even the slower ones will rise due to this. And this is why bitcoin withdrawals are more expensive than any other coins coz the network is easily congested unlike ethereum which can handle a lot of transaction at a time. So the timing of withdrawal is a must to, you don't want to spend much on a fee unless you are in a hurry in which I think is rare for a gambler. This is also why I withdraw every time I'm done playing, this happens frequently.
1996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 08, 2020, 06:10:54 PM
What makes bettor good is when you know what side are you betting, the more background you know the more chances you are going to win. There are many things that an individual makes a good bettor, this also comes with bet discipline, you don't want all in in just single tap, you don't follow your instinct that fully, you don't mess with how fortune you think you got. The last I could think of is the game you are playing, you don't come to a play when you don't how to play the game, master the game and you'll be all good.
1997  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin touch $15K till end of 2020? on: August 08, 2020, 05:30:46 PM
The market value is getting closer to this mark but that does not assure things will be fine until the end of this year  There are still four months remaining and hopefully nothing would eventually trigger a downfall in its market value. If ever the price will be held at this market value until next month, there is a huge tendency that its market value will hit the said price point and if there would be something which would make "things" consistent, if ay even reach its past ATH. But facing the reality, the market do not behave in such way. It is unpredictable so we better not be caught off guard.

Yes, there is still too much time left for the end of the year which is likely to happen. But I believe that even though there will be a downturn in the middle of this journey, there is no problem for bitcoin because it can make more corrections quickly to get back on the road for improvement.
I believe that bitcoin could make it again, new all time high or just near at it. We've seen bitcoin at it, so it is never impossible to see it again. As long as there is speculation on bitcoin it will never die. However if you look closely at the market, you'll see a lot of alternative coins rising, CHAIN, BAND etc. Believe in bitcoin but also believe on this one, it is still how you make money at the end of the day and you don't have to focus on a single coin.

indeed bitcoin will be predicted until the end of this year to reach $ 15K, if that value happens then it could be that next year will be more than the forecast in 2017 ago. much hope for this to happen, we are prepared to wait for the increase.
We got a lot of prediction for the price of bitcoin, some says it will be dramatically different from what we had so be it. Different or not, if it rise, it rises no matter how slow it will be. I'm seeing $18.5K highest this year.
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC looking for more tools to track crypto on: August 08, 2020, 04:58:14 PM
There is nothing surprising. Government agencies will always try to take control of the cryptocurrency and impose their own rules for its circulation in society.
But this is somehow absurd, because cryptocurrencies are already traceable, they could just take a loot at the network where and when a transaction has been made. The thing they want is quite bothering, they want a degree of tracking system that will make them an all-eye for everyone especially on the exchanges. This is how the other governments deal with the cryptocurrency, hiding behind "we're protecting you from scam and frauds" , they are in advantage of this.

They will also try to track the movements of the cryptocurrency and at the same time establish its belonging to specific individuals. It seems that there will always be a confrontation between government agencies and anonymity in cryptocurrency.
Yeah, and one day after you send million funds to someone they don't know they will just go to your house, lots of police outside, chopper in the air, and calling you via megaphone  Grin
1999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum Classic undervalued? on: August 07, 2020, 09:52:06 PM
Ethereum Classic is great for investment, but unfortunately loses popularity by Ethereum. Making Ethereum Classic considered undervalued,
whereas Ethereum Classic has a large enough volume and also listings on several popular exchanges.
The only thing that the ethereum classic lacks of is the popularity, and yes just like any other coin that was name after a coins loses the battle from the original you know bitcoin cash , bitcoin diamond and bitcoin SV though they are upgraded version of bitcoin still they cannot possess what's with bitcoin. On top of that is the solid community behind the top rank coins, the core of the price is the speculation without it the price of the will just be as low as the number of supporters.

If you look at the actual trading chart
Ethereum Classic movement is quite good, the price is rising now. So investing in Ethereum Classic is appropriate.
It is impressive considering its status in the market, it has a good run for a year and I think the only pump we can achieve is yearly basis from the ethereum classic, that's a long hold for a profit.
2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 07, 2020, 06:55:07 PM
honestly I see many obstacles in this matter of regulating online casinos.

1 - How will governments carry out periodic inspections at online casinos if these online casinos have no physical headquarters?
Casinos will have to submit any documented papers that happens in a certain period of time so the government will know what's going inside and outside of the casino such as transactions and player's data (at least the IP in case of any suspicion) Buy this the government can easily track and monitor the casino. In short casinos will be the one who will report to the government.

2 - in case of disputes between the client and the casino, how will governments manage to resolve if cryptocurrencies are not regulated?
Well that will be a two party arrangement and will definitely based on the terms that the client have agreed to. Besides we have an existing law about scam and fraud so that's a win for every one.
