1981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using stop loss vs. margin adjustment on: August 31, 2021, 11:50:35 AM

What about you? Did you use both methods for keeping your position in profit? Which one you consider better?

Thanks

I guess you are playing with wide fire Op because stoploss is the best way to preserve your balance. Your account can be wiped off by a single mistake of not using stoploss. Leverage is not same with application of stoploss because while stop loss can stop your losses and you have your balance with you, using leverage won't stop your market order but it will slowly burn down.

1982  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish or nuts? Fidelity predicts $100M bitcoin in 2035 on: August 29, 2021, 04:02:16 PM

"...the firm is putting out bullish reports on Bitcoin and sees the leading digital asset hitting $1 million before this decade is over and a whopping $100 million by 2035.

I believe that a decade is same as 100 years and we already used 20 years and 8 months from it with 79 years and 4 months remaining. So if we calculate by the range of performance so far that bitcoin is around $50,000 , I can say it may not be possible but with the mysterious volatility of bitcoin I don't know what to conclude on that but the question is if bitcoin will get to $1million ?

Quote
$1 million before this decade is over and a whopping $100 million by 2035.
But I don't know if OP is making a mistyon the figures highlighted above. A decade is hundred years and $1million while 2035 is 14years from now and having $100 million. So which is greater between 1million and $100 million in comparing the years. I don't know if my observation is understood if I'm right, maybe Op can edit the figures but if I'm wrong, I'm sorry it may be I didn't understand the figures well myself.
1983  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon's future plans on: August 29, 2021, 12:31:58 PM
Amazon's plans are rumored to be colossal. I have no doubt that a giant like Amazon can make it all happen.

That Amazon has made that announcement is still pending for them to put more action to it because action is higher so that things can start growing. Although , bitcoin price is increasing and high now to fivety thousand, this may help more increase  if Amazon carry out that because it is a large institution.
1984  Economy / Economics / Re: A way to make money online? on: August 28, 2021, 10:35:01 PM
Im looking for a way to make money online. I have a website in development but I would like to find a way to make some extra cash while the website is in development. I would just like it to not be Surveys, or Dropshipping. Got any ideas?

Got the idea yes and that is a good drive because we need to get our hands into different means of making money. If we don't have many means of income, that will not grow our money. Therefore, you can learn how to trade before your website project is up. You can also involve in freelance and digital marketing. Just research on google and you can find the businesses online.

This thread will be useful to you
1985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you want to quit trading ? on: August 28, 2021, 12:42:45 PM
Almost every career, discipline or profession has its own hazard, risk and disadvantage. I hear many people who feel like quiting or abandoning their kind of job because of the risk they go through.

Likewise trading is risky too. For you as a trader, have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?

I didn’t quit trading, I just took a break. Day trading (especially copy trading) is much riskier than buying and holding. Been there done that. Trading isn’t for everyone.

You can consider copy trading as more risky because you are not the original trader and whether the original trader is good or not, you are just following and doing what ever the trade order does. Yes it may be riskier because hodling is just the simplest form of trading.

One major disadvantage of copy trading is that in most cases, it leads to losses.
1986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you want to quit trading ? on: August 28, 2021, 07:29:20 AM
Not yet for me, maybe i will think about quitting when I have made a kill  Grin

Lol here... Nobody quits his business after he has made a kill except the business is life threatening and or an armed robber  Grin

And we both know trading is not life threatening in the case of making a kill.

When reality slaps you in the face then thats the time you do make out some realizations and would take the things even more serious and bit dedicated.

This is true as always when you keep losing out on your acquired profit either because you don't get serious with the business by not doing the right thing by applying some techniques or caution after you have made the profit (like putting a stoploss because price can eat the profit and to your balance, or you lock your profit up by adjusting your stoploss at your entry point securing your balance with that) at a point you realize it that you are making losses.

1988  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish? Bankers Issue ‘Seismic’ Warning: crypto could replace USD in 5 years on: August 27, 2021, 12:08:30 PM
It’s my belief that the current generation of people aged 18 to 45 would experience Bitcoin become a World Reserve Currency, but Bitcoin to replace a country’s currency? In 5 to 10 years? That’s a laughable notion.

OP, are those Bankers HODLers? Cool

To add to this also in the real perspective, it is the new generation that talk about bitcoin or cryptocurrency, older folks don't. The older generation still have there thing about bitcoin , the reason buffet isn't really positive about it . I think 5 years is too short if that can happen in the first instance. What I know can be possible is CBDC and that is getting stronger by countries. They all, Fiat, CBDC , cryptocurrency/bitcoin and all other forms of money or payment system can exist independently from each and that is the real kind of atmosphere for real freedom.
1989  Economy / Economics / Re: Masters in Blockchain and Digital Currency on: August 27, 2021, 10:15:27 AM
The course outline is good, although you would have to ask yourself the question of whether you really like this or not.

Important. We need to involve ourselves with the thing that we enjoy doing and doing so will give us joy because we do and succeed in it with ease. So Op , this is left for you alone to know whether you like cryptocurrency and digital marketing/business. If you do then you should go all the way to grab the opportunity of a lucrative future venture. Is obvious that the crypto space is very young and whoever acquires a degree around it may be one of the earliest dominators and much talk about pioneers in the academic field even when you are gone to great beyond. If you happen to write books on it, you books will be highly sold across countries. I think it is a good field that you can venture into if you like it. Yes you already have a first degree that is still in the line of further showing the world about cryptocurrency and marketing/packaging it very well. Is a choice you need to made by yourself, I wish you good luck.
1990  Economy / Economics / Re: The UK's FCA and Binance talks break down on: August 26, 2021, 06:38:48 PM
I think the talks broke down

This is what I could find on it so far

Quote
(AF) In a demonstration of the difficulty in regulating cryptocurrencies, the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said it’s unable to oversee digital asset exchange Binance because of the risks involved in its products, the Financial Times reported.

Quote
The UK affiliate of the world’s largest crypto trading venue, which has no centralised headquarters and allows “supercharged” bets, had failed to respond to some of the FCA’s basic enquiries, making it difficult to supervise, the report added. Binance was censured by the FCA in June, the report stated.

There isn't much on it yet since the talks couldn't lead to any success. With that I think the stand taken in June on binance would still be operating except any further discussion is successful.
1991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 26, 2021, 01:10:05 PM
I do not know their reason for having sexy women, but I guess they use girls to attract more people to come and play gambling. The gambler themselves can feel more excited when they play with the girls beside them because sometimes, they want to show off how lucky they are in gambling. Those girls can make the gamblers forget how to stop the games because the girls will tell the gambler to play more.

That's what I mean by having sexy women in every casino, especially physical casinos will be much more supportive of a more sexualized atmosphere that is more vulnerable for us to enjoy. Despite all the activities of sexy women in the casino they still prioritize professionalism in their work, that's what fascinates me about them.

When they prioritize professionalism, don't you think they are doing what is ethically wrong by deceiving innocent men who are only out to gamble and not to go after women? If they get seduced with the way that they dress, they can be moved to go for them and that means deceit. The whole issue about this is that women have been made as object of sex even with musical videos, on internet etc.
1992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which currencies are suitable for money laundering? on: August 26, 2021, 12:16:22 PM
Which currencies are suitable for money laundering?
This question quite scary. Any crypto can be used om money laundering.

It is not scary to me but funny. I think in terms of fiat, it could be the currency of high volume in exchange. Like the foreign currency such as US$, pounds and Euro. Many times I have heard of money laundering, it is always in those currencies and not in local currency because the value is small in exchange for the above currencies. Politicians take out money or embezzle public money by converting plenty of the local currency to few currencies with high exchange rate. However I have not heard of money laundering on cryptocurrency except scamming and that is quite different from money laundering.
1993  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the validity of a mixed economy system? on: August 26, 2021, 11:41:36 AM
I don't think there are countries that practice a single kind of economic system as this present times of global change and development. America that was known of capitalism will not be isolated on just that, there many times that the government will take up the regulation of certain sector of the economy and likewise the socialist of China etc. It is for the greater good of the country that mixed economic system was developed. During the medieval era, we can point at economy that were purely a one kind of system, the feuda systems etc but hardly will you find an economy running majorly on that system anymore.
1994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which timeframe do you use for day trading? on: August 26, 2021, 09:53:49 AM
Lower timeframe like minutes from 1-15min is scalping except you are a scalper then you can succeed buyif not so, a day trader always concentrate on 30minutes to 4 hours and that works better. Such time gives a longer look to the market and space for spikes that will happen before the market settles for profit taking.
1995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: August 25, 2021, 07:18:41 PM
For me i don't really welcome much losses, I try to make sure my trades are good enough and onset and if a trade gives me a loss I will check if I got enough equity I will do hold on the trades and be rest assured it will end up in profit. Well I think the amount of loss I can handle depends on the account size, if I got a bigger account then I can handle up to 3 or 4 loosing trades and if the market doesn't moves in my favor I will know such strategy isn't working for me any longer so I did change pattern of trading

There are different areas of your response here and I will respond all together. First, understand that losing is part of the trading business and a strategy that has been working for you to make profit does not need to be changed because of a loss, because such loss can be temporary. The market plays a funny one on the traders so that your effort looks rubbish to you. You can look deeper to understand is just market going wrong and not your strategy, it will get back to be corrected again after the volatility.

And holding up a losing trade is a waste of time for you because you will also get stocked as the trade, use stop loss, minimize your risk so that a lost trade can matter just little and you have another chance to trade.
1996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price last until the end of the year? on: August 25, 2021, 11:32:47 AM

Bitcoin has reached $50K. Will the price last until the end of the year or will the price of Bitcoin go back down.

The price IMO will go up even close to a new ATH before December. It touched $50,000 few days ago and we are yet entering the pick season of festivity. This means there are more possibility for upwards than bearish. It is speculative both ways but the greater chance is for bull. The price barely dropped a little below $50,000 and that might be a correction for two weeks bull stretch, the bull will continue  afterwards.
1997  Economy / Economics / Re: Pakistan's Economy are going to crisis for Taliban? on: August 25, 2021, 10:16:19 AM
but Pakistan has nothing to do with it.

My view on the Op comment is also that it is matter not concerning only Pakistan if you looking at countries that may be affected economically on the trouble in Afghanistan and Taliban. China is there, likewise US that are evaquating there citizens and do we also say that US economy will suffer or go into crises because of the trouble in Afghanistan? Not really. Except it goes out of proportion and goes into full war, then aligns can come in and we can start analysing base on that. For now is just interesiI see.
1998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone explain these gambling questions? (Client Seed & RTP) on: August 24, 2021, 02:57:48 PM
..... so in theory, if say 1000 people use the same "Client Seed" ...

I do not consider this to be possible. The client seed should serve as a players personal identify that will be recognized by the server incase the player is signing in afresh, so it will not be the same for other players. It is also as the wallet phrase or seed to a wallet. Except you have a personal issue on such then we could see snapshot. But that is how I understand your question. The seed gets generated and recognizes the codes on it to accept or reject when imputing wrongly.
1999  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Price Prediction on: August 24, 2021, 01:29:45 PM
~ as soon as next year.
Whatever price BTC lands this year, don't forget to cash out some of those profits. For all we know, next year could be very different from what these optimist analysts says. I'm still of the opinion that bear season will come soon following the previous market cycles.

I do believe too that the bear is around the corner maybe ending of the year like what happened in 2017. Bitcoin is easily rising this year more than it goes bear. It comes back strong after a bear and we are seeing that at this time that it immytouched $50,000 which may climb more but we need to be careful to allow the profit keep growing, let it not crash in our eyes  Grin
2000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why I'd prefer to be forex trader of my own on: August 24, 2021, 10:51:25 AM

Instead of getting stressed out with hundreds of questions it’s always better to keep my money with myself and trade it slowly and grow the assets with lowest risk.  Grin

This is the advantage of trading on forex and making gradual profit, with such you will be surprised at your accumulated profit. Reducing the lot size to bearest range which is 0.01 to pick your pips slowly is better than rushing and increasing it. Also wiisuch low lot size, your losses too will be very minimal incase the order hit the stoploss. But at every trade, stop loss is important because it has plenty of advantages.
