SMB -2.5 @1.85 vs Meralco, I'm an SMB fan so I'll take this risk. They might win game 1 but advancing into the semis is a herculean task for their import as he only played a few games for them and the chemistry is not there yet. Just hoping that the locals of SMB would play a big role, especially Fajardo but knowing that their import is a "score first" type of player, I'm skeptical about that one hehe. Magnolia -6.5 @1.77 vs Phoenix, the Hotshots are just too much for the Fuel Masters. The question here is will they cover the spread? |

About Casimero's nutrionist and conditioning coach, I saw a video on YouTube that MP Promotions have selected Jeneath Aro to be his nutritionist and that they won't give Casimero some slack because Butler is a former champion too.
Jeneath Aro is a good nutritionist too and if I'm correct she is the nutritionist of Magsayo as well. What Casimero really needed in this Butler fight is a good nutritionist as we all know that he is gaining weight far from his fight weight whenever he is on a break which could entail heavy work to bring back to his weight limit for a fight thus causing him troubles. I'm mentioning this on my previous post that the real opponent of Casimero is himself. If he could get his weight limit before a fight with a well condition body then Butler will have trouble in the ring facing him. |

Yeah, good luck to me because I bet on the Ginebra and the game is very close now, either team could win in this situation, so may the lucky team wins. Fuller vs Brownlee, still Brownlee got a big impact and I hope he'll be able to carry the team.
Congrats for still believing in the never say die spirit hehe. Brownlee and Scottie Thompson did damage on the Ginebra side and luckily they stopped the late rally of TNT. Takes two perfect games to eliminate TNT and it's not an easy job for the Kings but with the crowd on their side, this next do-or-go home game is very exciting to watch but I slightly favored TNT to take the win. On that first game, damn I forgot that NLEX will be fielding a new import and Alaska as well  , that is why I'm backing NLEX on that game. |

Yes, you're exactly right about that. Now that Casimero's name is somehow carved in the industry, then that means that he's been already watched by a lot of people who's fond in boxing. So he should be more mature and careful on what he's saying because he's now a champion in his division. He needs to be more appropriate towards other boxers especially towards Donaire, a co-Filipino boxer.
I could say now that Casimero is busy training rather than talking and hitting on social media some of his supposed to be opponents like Inoue. He should be because this is his last chance to prove to the boxing community that he deserves to be the king of this bantamweight division and a shot for that money fight against the Japanese Monster, Inoue. If we look at Casimero's training on his youtube account, I think we can say that he's on the right direction now but that nutritionist and conditioning coach issue is still not clear to me. Here's the bracket for the coming quarter-finals. ~snip~ What team do you think will advance in the semi-finals? I have Magnoli vs SMB and NLEX vs Ginebra. And I have the Ginebra to be the Champion.  Magnolia, TNT, NLEX and Meralco, these teams will advance to the semis IMO and Magnolia vs TNT will slug it out in the Finals . With that being said, NLEX will dispose of Alaska in tonight's game so my bet is NLEX -2.5 @1.8 vs Alaska. Yeah, you're right, I was not looking closely at the match-up posted above.
of course, it will be Bolts vs SMB and I'm still putting my money on the SMB although they are not as good as before because I trust their import so much. Their last game, SMB beat Bolts with a score of 115-110, and Shabazz was on fire who scored 57 points and grabbed 19 rebounds.
That was not an easy win though and their next match-up is not an easy one for SMB as they are on a do-or-go home scenario. If we have followed this SMB's history recently, they are one of the teams that is hard to beat in a series but they are also easy or having a hard time winning in a do-or-die battle so this next game for them is interesting but still i would go for SMB but of course with a handicap if they are the underdogs. |

For me, SMB has the edge here but we cannot discount the Bolts as they have improve this season.
Also think the same that SMB has the edge on this series but i think in the bookies, the odds will be even or maybe the SMB will be the slight favorite because of the talent level of their import. I never thought that NorthPort will be eliminated at the hands of Phoenix, it is just unexpected because they are the giant killer of the PBA and yet they have lost to a low-tier team, this just shows us that PBA is really unpredictable. |

Exactly! Canelo is already used to fight across different divisions, and he is definitely not a beginner in this division. Well except the CW because his fight against Ilunga Makabu did not materialized. Canelo and his team are smart, they certainly won't risk Canelo's career if the chances are slim against Dmitry Bivol and don't forget that Eddie Hearn himself is the brain in this agreement so probably this is a cherry pick before he will face GGG.
Though he knocked out Sergey Kovolev, that was not an easy work for Canelo. Its just that Kovolev gassed out on that fight thus resulted in him being knocked out in the eleventh round. The point here is that Canelo will be having some trouble in the light heavyweight division and Demetry Bivol is not a pushover or we can say that he is not like Kovolev and with that being said, this is going to be a very interesting and exciting fight for Canelo. |

It seems like many people think Murata doesn't even have chance to beat GGG, this similar like Pacquaio was heavy favorited compared to Ugas. Watching the previous Murata's fight, he have though chin and power punch but he's slow. This is another test for matured GGG, does he's faster than Murata or not. GGG might lose if he's slower than before, I believe the fight will last for 12 rounds .
If this fight goes the distance then more likely GGG will get the judge's nod because of the money involved in the Canelo vs GGG trilogy, boxing politics will always ruin this sport  . Murata will give GGG a run for his money and I would not be surprised if the Japanese fighter would win this match as I think he is a very live underdog while GGG is slowing down. |

IMO, live betting is only good if you are not keen on backing a team to win but if you are a fan then it is good to bet on a pre-live game odds because you might miss the opportunity to bet for them if you bet live. But as far as I know, a lot of boxing fans don't like a defensive style because it is too boring. A lot still want a toe-to-toe fight as much as possible.
This is a unification so I believe that revenue for this fight would be huge. Shakur may be a favorite in the bookies but I will agree with you that most of the fight fans don't like defensive fighters as they are often boring to watch. Hardcore fans of the sweet science are the real winners for this upcoming fight as we are about to witness a battle where both fighters have zero lose and vying for that unified belt, seldom we can see that nowadays with this boxing politics. |

Shakur is obviously taunting Oscar since he know that he is the crowd favorite and he is hungry for this match because he keeps following Valdez title while Valdez keeps dodging him by going to higher weight class and vacating his title. This match is actually surprising considering how underdog Valdez to Shakir while Valdez keeps choosing a mismatch opponent. I will definitely go for Shakir on this match because he was proven unstoppable despite many strong opponents he faced in his previous match. Valdez face is easy to bleed a hard puncher like Shakir will gonna have a frenzy time chasing him inside the ring.
This is definitely a mismatch IMHO.
Blame Uncle Bob for it all . Top Rank is building Valdez and TBH I'm quite surprised on this move the Top Rank to have this match early as we have seen in the past how they manage the career of their boxers where they pit their best when they are not in their peaks. IMO, this is not a mismatch, Shakur is just the favorite because of his defensive style of boxing but one power punch could change it all in boxing and we all know that Valdez has that kind of power that could change the outcome of the match if given the opportunity. |

That was intense indeed, I thought Batang Pier would advance into the playoffs with a 6 game winning streak. Pre-game odds for that game were TNT 1.39, NorthPort 2.85, the spread was 5.5 so you still won that game if you bet for NorthPort with the handicap.  Seldom do a parlay, fortunately, it won hehe. First time to see the playoffs where the three MVP companies have a twice-to-beat advantage, seem like MVP will seize the crown for this conference. |
