If I had 100k USD I would probably invest in between 10 and 20 good ICOS to spread out the risk. I like RADE.IO, REALISTO, COVESTING and BITDEGREE among others as they all have solid growth potential and solid business plans. You can select a few good ICOS and invest an amount in each of them and hedge your bets for long term gains and upside potential. I want to do the same and invested half an ETH in BITDEGREE, it isn't much but my budget is small at the moment.

The only long term strategy is to buy a few good altcoins and hold for a big price increase. I don't see any way of gaining big multipliers unless you hold some coins long term. You need though to find those gems when they are pennies a piece, a bit like penny stocks and when they explode in price, sell some of them for big gains. I would have been a millionaire now if some coins I had I had not sold for only a x 2 gain but I didn't know and am paying the price now. I hope I can slowly get a few good coins and grow a decent pension portfolio over time.

Only the big insiders and whales know what will happen to Bitcoin in 2018. Maybe they are saying it will go to 50k USD in order to get everyone to buy in then do a massive dump. Like they did right now when it went to 20k and now has dumped to almost half the price and is still declining both in volume and price. There will probably be more FUD now to crash the price under 10k USD support line so the whales can scoop it up cheap again for the next rally.

MAJOR CORRECTION over the silly season has lost people tons of money already. If you sell now and it goes lower, then fine you can buy it back cheaper. I think this is what all the whales are doing now, they are profit taking and tanking the price so they can all buy it back under 4-5k USD. I think that is the grand plan. I don't have much Bitcoin, only like 0.03 BTC and most of it is in altcoins, but if Bitcoin tanks and my altcoins tank, I will be left with only my shirt in the end and all my hard work gone to pots.

Well if Bitcoin continues to tank then we will all be at a loss. Only those involved in pump groups and the big whales are going to be winners because they control and manipulate the markets. All we can do is make some gambles and guess what they are going to do next. I think Bitcoin will tank under 10 USD and either RIPPLE or another coin will take it's place. That is what looks like is going to happen because now Bitcoin is way too slow and expensive to move around, so many people don't find it practical anymore so they are just dumping it. Especially the day traders and whales who want to trade hardcore and fast for big profits.

At the moment the market is bearish and all the whales are cashing out. I notice the odd coin is being pumped but Bitcoin is continuously bleeding right now, which doesn't bode well for most altcoins and portfolios. I think the markets are riddled by manipulation and pump and dump groups, so unless you are a whale or a member of these groups, it's really hard now to ride the wave and many of us just lose out because the markets are constantly manipulated with profit takers/day traders and pump groups that just grab as much quick profit as they can. Not much we can do except see the markets bleed and watch.

Thanks everyone i am trying to finish both fb and twitter, but unfortunately the eth miners now failed a lot of the payments, despite we paid over 4 usd in gas per item. I am trying now to see if i up the gas even more to resend the failed ones at least but i am running out of gas, so will need more gas from the PROOF TEAM. Unfortunately the eth miners are doing daylight robbery, because they steal our gas but do not let the proof go through, for me this is robbery on behalf of eth miners.. I have tried to fix all the addresses as per the back end forms that were filled in so don't know for the life of me why there are still addresses that are wrong.
I would suggest you to remove the addresses from all the tables other than "totals". Some people (like me) may look at, for example, twitter table where their addresses are incorrect. Maybe replace all the addresses there by "see TOTALS" or something like that? i fixed it and paid out signature campaigns tonight will pay out the rest tomorrow |

Any reason guys for the huge dump in price today? I am surprised it got dumped so hard and many are fudding it on HITBTC to try to crash the price even further. If the app was released today then why the heck would peeps sell off over 30% of their dent holdings? My mind boggles really at the thought. On the front page of this bounty campaign it states that 4200 Tokens would be assigned to reward the Twitter participants. When I added up the column of figures for the Proof Tokens it came 423.7317784. Should I be expecting 8.5 Tokens or 85 Tokens? The pool was decreased in 10 times. So now, there are 6000 PROOF tokens allocated for bounty instead 60000 That is not very nice changing the terms after the work has been done, I bet if this had been known beforehand many including myself would have declined to participate. Well if the amount of total circulating supply has gone down x 10, then it makes sense that bounty distribution also goes down x 10, it's simple maths. I am just the bounty manager for this campaign, I did not have control over token sales or smart contract. |

It's hard sometimes especially if you are a woman like me and have to take care of cooking and house cleaning chores and the family, alongside all the other crypto jobs. I like what I do in crypto though so it makes my job much easier. Some days I seem to get a lot more done than other days as it depends on what household stuff I need to do for any given day. I try to do my core jobs which is forum posting and some other jobs then I get to try to check y portfolio etc. I am in this for the long haul so consistency in some core areas is needed and the jobs must be done daily, then if I have time I add on to that accordingly.

I just came off of the slack room. I am looking at the screenshots of the BETA UI and I must say I am really impressed. BETA is so far removed from the more crude and rudimentary ALPHA site, no comparison by a barge pole. I don't think we will see PPT sitting at these low prices for very long so if you have been sitting on the fence. I GUESS now is the last chance to accumulate a decent bag to hold before we go a parabolic route to a nearby moon station.  |

I wouldn't be surprised if RIPPLE beats Bitcoin as well because of the cheaper transaction fees and very fast time it takes to do the transactions. If the banks all get behind Ripple technology then this is what is going to have the biggest marketcap dominance over the coming years. Bitcoin will lose it's top position if RIPPLE goes up another five times and Bitcoin keeps declining in price. If XRP beat ETH, then it will beat Bitcoin marketcap too I guess in 2018 or beyond.

You would if you have it in your NXT wallet on the 28th of this month or in supporting exchanges. I had a little nxt so am waiting to see if on January the first I will get my ignis in my nxt account. IGNIS will probably get dumped like NXT just did as well, because all those peeps who bought nxt to get the ignis airdrop and dumped nxt, will go on to dump Ignis as well as they only want free coins and quick profits, they don't care about the tech at all.

Looks like the Banks at the end of the day have the most money so they will back one coin they like and that is RIPPLE, THE banker's choice, so in the end the banks always win. People in crypto are so fickle and are mostly in it for a quick buck, but banks once they back something they get loyal to their cause and put all their hardcore money behind it and now RIPPLE has mooned and I have no Ripples and it sucks lol. |

I have a small bag of Cardano but non of the others. Others under one dollar that I hold and hope they do hit one dollar are COB, COSS and i also bought a small bag of BITDEGREE and have a decent bag of BITCLAVE which sold out in minutes in its ICO and was ten cents ICO PRICE. I hope to collect more of these coins over the first quarter of 2018 in a big way by doing jobs and also buying up and hoping end of 2018 to be able to have a decent nest egg of some sorts, let's see what time will tell.

I missed out on Ripple. I had some at 30 cents then sold it. I had bought ripple several times and sold it without much profit and it's really sad as I could have had now over one bitcoin of it. What a shame and it keeps going up so I doubt now I can ever buy any at this price. I missed out on Ripple like I did on Bitcoin, Lightcoin, Ethereum., Dash and Monero. Bitcin is really losing steam now as it is getting so expensive to move around. Ripple seems to be the answer for cheap and fast transactions sigh. Maybe I should buy a few just for posterity to hold.
