1981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about vanity addresses? on: October 28, 2015, 11:13:31 AM
There was a thread explaning how these addresses were generated.
But i can say the the amount sent there can not be spent.
Basically all bitcoins sent to this address are lost.
1982  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 28, 2015, 11:10:19 AM
Today i earned something in bitcoin from my signature campaign.
The amount was sent to the exchange website which i think i will get by tomorrow on my wallet.
What i would add is some earnings from trading alt coins to bitcoin, even though the price has been increased.
1983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 50K Doge for Sale on: October 28, 2015, 11:06:58 AM
50K Doge for Sale, pm me (:

Have you tried to sell them on exchange.
It is much safer and much faster than finding any member here.
Anyway i will send a pm now with my offer, hope to deal with you.
1984  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is Mining profitable? on: October 28, 2015, 11:04:08 AM
If you have only one hardware then i would say no.
If you have lots of mining rigs then yes, mostly a mining farm, but the ROI is just too long to be reached.
I don't know if you can reach the ROI by the end of the July next year because the block reward will be 50% less.
1985  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to move my wallet from blockchain.info to an other provider? on: October 28, 2015, 11:02:33 AM
If you want to use again web wallets then i would suggest coinbase,
But they do not offer to import neither export the private keys.
Only transfer the balance to the coinbase address and you are good(not better/best)
1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 28, 2015, 10:58:04 AM
I see more percentage of speculation in the poll with the current price kick.

Use of bitcoin in shopping I think will be lessen too to take advantage of the rising price except if really needed to shop.

Well i would like the poll to be opened to see new voters what will they vote.
Because it is closed Voting closed since July 11, 2015.
I think to shop through bitcoin is good if you don't have fiat money but not preferred.
1987  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 28, 2015, 10:55:51 AM
real life = bank
online life = bitcoin wallet

I think this is a completed answers,
But what i would add that we also should use bank for online life.
Because not everybody accepts bitcoin, and not everybody has bitcoin to send to use if we trade something.
1988  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: October 28, 2015, 10:54:41 AM
only 4% think the 200-300 range will hold?
Perhaps not, but is it that unlikely?

I'm guessing that most of those votes were made early 2014 when OP started the thread.

Interesting to see so many thought it would go over 1000$ this year already. Myself I predict 2000$ in late 2016 but for now it's way too early for that.

Well i think 1,000 by the end of the year is just too much.
There are almost only two months left for this year so maybe $350 - $400 is enough.
I hope that October will end with the price of $300 as today Smiley

The way Huobi is pumping for a few weeks now, it is very possible to see the Chinese exchange also demolish the $400 price level in the same way it did with the $300 level. The last 2 months of this year will be more than interesting Smiley

It is exciting how the bitcoin price is changes so rapidly.
I think that the period until Halving period will be interesting.
Because we don't know exactly what will happen at the end of July.
1989  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next target: 260-270 on: October 28, 2015, 10:46:27 AM
i feel we need to hit 320~350 to say the down trend is broken

I will be happy with $300 (if it is maintained).  Smiley

i will agree on you with this hope to see it goes little up but not to go down if this happen price might be going to below 200 and i hope that this will hot happen

Stability is really important. Let's just hope that price are maintained around $300 and not that much down. After the holding period at that range I can see bitcoin will push forward much more up to $500 mark in the next 2 years.

I want also the price to be more than $300 from now.
And it is early comparing to the halving period.
I have a feeling that this is just a sign that when the halving period come the price will be double Tongue
1990  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: October 28, 2015, 10:43:47 AM
i think you need only 1BTC
in future bitcoin can be rich to $10.000  Grin
i hope 1day i can be rich

Maybe you though 1kBTC instead of 1BTC
Because with only a single bitcoin you cant to anything big in this case retiring.
With 1k it can be possible but it is still hard to believe because the price is changing dramatically each year.
you can if somehow work over 100k in US but more like will be 1000BTC for retirement for sure i would be satisfied with 100 or little more just for good retirement  Grin

It is really early to speculate how much do we need to retire after 20 years.
But basically at the moment around 3-4BTC is needed to live within a month.
This amount can be changed in the next upcoming years because of the inflation.
1991  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: October 28, 2015, 10:41:52 AM
Finally the price reached today at $300.
I am happy because there was a long time that i haven't seen this price.
Maybe more than 3 months. About the $350 during November i think that it can reach if the pump trend goes on.

Bitstamp and Bitfinex just now reached new highs and Huobi is leading and still pumping. The comming months will be very interesting as I think Huobi is able to break through the $400 barrier this year.

Well i check the bitcoin price most of the time in coindesk.
So basically all exchanges there show that bitcoin price is more than $300.
Except BTC-e which shows the bitcoin price of ~$298
1992  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Full Member Account - 0.075 on: October 28, 2015, 10:39:13 AM
Kindly state the following to avoid multiple questions from those who were not really interested Tongue
- Signed message availabilty
- Post quality
- Post and activity count ( not necessarily to be exact)

Good luck on your sales man!

May I ask? How do I do a signed message? Do I make the address on the profile of the account a signed message?

The post quality is relatively good, all posts are either contributive/questions that will help others

Let's just say... Somewhere near or exactly 168 is the activity count, and the post count is above 500 and below 750.

Sorry if i'm being a little vague, but you get the idea, right?

Yeah don't worry I get it Wink

And regarding to the signed message thingy, I'm kinda lazy to explain it but there's a guide dedicated for that, here's the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0 and about the address, you don't have to create a new one, just dig the account's post history and look for a bitcoin address posted previously then use that address to sign a message with.

If you are lazy to check one post by one.
To see if you posted any bitcoin address then there is a website that do this job.
Put your account UID here http://www.satoshiquiz.com/bitcointalk/getactivity.php and at the end you can see if you posted any address.
1993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 28, 2015, 10:29:33 AM
i found out like any car company needs adverts and in this case its into the use of Bitcoin per companies and post a sign and besides that the spread of the wrod that bitcoin its money soo its digital good to have trade and save and the good idea sells but needs a bit more adverts not just into the internet but companies acepted like its beeing doing into europe well btc still on the rise

I have a slogan for this: 'Rent a car cheaper with bitcoin'
This would be a good advertisement for car or taxi companies.
And time by time the result will be given and i think more people will use bitcoin.
1994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 28, 2015, 10:19:43 AM
i have to planning 1 btc for long time investment so i will always hold btc whatever the price.

I think that OP has put the answer in the question.
Most of the people (probably all) if they hold is because of the hope that one day the price will increase to 1-2k.
Currently i am holding too, but if i get a good offer to sell i will sell, otherwise i do trade in alt coin market and back to bitcoin.
1995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 28, 2015, 10:13:40 AM
In the past i used bitcoin to invest in a company.
But i lost more rather than i got profit from them.
And now i only use to hold and time by time to trade.
1996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: October 28, 2015, 10:12:11 AM

1997  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 28, 2015, 10:08:46 AM
For me, if bank and bitcoin can work together, it will be perfect!  Grin

In some countries it is not allowed to use bitcoin.
So i think banks there will not participate with bitcoin and the clients.
I think that time by time banks will know the value of bitcoin and will make something against it.
1998  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: October 28, 2015, 09:41:53 AM
Let's be honest, we are all waiting BTC to reach $300 (at the moment) to sell it LOL

Well the price just hit that target,
And i think that is not the best way to sell now,
Personally i hope that the price will go higher and higher, and probably $350 by the upcoming weeks.
1999  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest way to store Bitcoins? on: October 28, 2015, 09:40:18 AM
Well, i'd say you put your wallet.dat files onto a hard drive, and then stick it into a bank vault. Give proof of how much bitcoin is in the hard drive, and if your hard drive gets corrupted, you can sue the bank.

What will bank do with you hdd, i don't think they will touch it,
As long as you sent to them as more secure environment.
I think that you have to have more than 2-3 copies (backups)
2000  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: October 28, 2015, 09:37:31 AM
In coindesk website i saw an article which says that $300 was hit after three months.
Also there is pool to see what people think about the price during November
http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-price-hits-300-amid-continuing-price-rally/
I voted that the price will be $201 - $350 and the result is: 55% AGREE WITH YOU
